      • ZnAl₂O₄삼원화합물의 구조 및 광학적 특성

        ZnO and Al2O3 powders were mixed in 1:1 mole ratio and ball-milled with ethanol for 3h. After the pressing process, the mixtures were sintered at 700°C~1300°C for 5 h in air to form ZnAl2O4. Structural properties were analyzed by X-ray diffraction patterns : optical properties by sbsorption spectra with UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer : microstructural properties by SEM : photoluminescent properties by using PL Measuring System. In result, ZnAl2O4 phosphor is crystallized at 1100°C and optical bandgap is calculated at 4.65 eV. PL spectra were shifted to longer wavelengths with increasing temperature and was appeared around 780mm at 1300°C. Additionally, the peak intensity was very strong at 800°C and was declined with increasing temperature.

        버섯 중독 환자에서의 ^(99m)Tc-galactosyl human serum albumin (GSA) scintigraphy 소견 : 간초음파 소견과의 비교 Comparison with Liver Ultrasonography

        광대버섯과 같은 독버섯 중독시 간세포에 독성을 나타내어 간 기능의 이상을 유발할 수 있다. 저자들은 개나리광대버섯을 섭취한 3명의 환자에서 간 기능을 평가하기 위하여 간세포에 선택적으로 섭취되어 간기능을 평가하는데 사용되어지고 있는 99mTc-galactosyl human serum albumin (Tc-GSA)을 이용한 간 스캔을 시행하였고 간 초음파 검사와 비교하여 보았다. Tc-GSA 185MBq (3mg of GSA)을 정맥주사후 30분동안 동적 영상과 간과 심장 부위의 시간 방사능 곡선을 얻었다. 간기능의 정도를 평가하기 위하여 Tc-GSA의 간섭취 정도와 혈중 정체정도를 시각적인 평가와 간과 심장 부위의 시간 방사능 곡선을 이용한 반정량적인 평가를 시행하여 간섭취지수와 혈중제거지수를 구하였다. 시각적인 평가에서 2명의 환자에서 Tc-GSA의 경미한 정도의 간섭취 감소와 혈중 정체를 보였고 1명에서는 중등도의 간섭취 감소와 혈중 정체를 보였다. 반정량적인 평가에서는 2명의 환자에서 경미한 정도의 간섭취지수의 감소와 혈중제거지수의 증가를 보였고 1명에서 중등도의 간섭취지수의 감소와 혈중제거지수의 증가가 관찰되었다. 간초음파상에서는 1명의 환자는 지방침윤이 관찰되었으며 1명의 환자에서는 미약한 정도의 지방간이 관찰되어 급성 간기능 장애를 적절히 반영하지 못하였다. 본 증례를 통해 저자들은 간초음파 검사가 특이한 소견을 나타내지 못하여 간세포에 영향을 주는 독소나 약물 중독시에 간 영상화에는 Tc-GSA 간스캔이 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 추측할 수 있었다. ^(99m)Tc-galactosyl human serum albumin (Tc-GSA) is a radiopharmaceutical that binds to asialoglycoprotein receptors, which are specifically present in the hepatocyte membrane. Because these receptors are decreased in hepatic parenchymal damage, the degree of Tc-GSA accumulation in the liver correlates with findings of liver function test. Hepatic images were performed with Tc-GSA in patients with acute hepatic dysfunction by Amantia Subjunquillea poisoning, and compared with these of liver ultrasonography (USG). Tc-GSA (185 MBq, 3 mg of GSA) was injected intravenously, and dynamic images were recorded for 30minutes. Time-activity curves for the heart and liver were generated from regions of interest for the whole liver and precordium. Degree of hepatic uptake and clearance rate of Tc-GSA were generated by visual interpretation and semiquantitative analysis parameters (receptor index :LHL15 and index of blood clearance :HH15). Visual assessment of GSA scintigraphy revealed mildly decreased liver uptake in all of subjects. The mean LHL15 and HH15 were 0.886 and 0.621, graded as mild dysfunction in 2, and mild to moderate dysfunction in 1 subject. In contrast, liver USG showed no remarkable changes of hepatic parenchyme. Tc-GSA scintigraphy was considered as a useful imaging modality in the assessment of the hepatic dysfunction.

      • Purge & Trap-GC를 이용한 의약품 필름코팅 정제 중 잔류용제에 관한 연구

        의약품은 약물을 생체에 적풋하기 위하여 유효성분의 효과가 언제나 일정하게 확보되고 사응에 편리하도록 만들어지는 것이므로 유효썽분 이외에 약효에 영향을 주지 않는 성분이 첨가되는 경운가 많다. 이 때 사용되는 용매들은 제피의 광택 및 건쪼시간의 단축 등을 위하여 휘발점이 낮을 용매들이 주로 사용되어진다. 본 연구는 의약품 필름코팅정제 중 잔류용매 4종(chlorofonr benzen, trichloro ethylen, 1,4-dioxane)에 대한 변형된 pirge & trap-GC 장치를 이용한 동시분석방법을 개발하였으며, 각 표준품의 RSD 값은 chloroform 3.03%, benzen 3.17%, trichloroethylen 3.69% and 1,4-dioxane 3.41%였다. 또한 시중 유통중인 의약품 50종에 대하여 잔류웅매 양을 측정하였으며, 검출되는 잔류용매는 한 건도 없었다. This study nras carried out to develope the analytical method for the mixture of chlorefonn, benzen, trichloroethylen and 1,4-dioxane simultaneously and determine the remainingorgauic solvents in coating tablets by Purge & Trap-GC. The results were as follouFs ; 1. Chloroform, benzen, trio:tloroethylen and 1,4-dioxane separated by tenax #5 trap by HP-624GC column by terrlperature programming. The peaks were separated completely at retentiontime of 6.88min for chloroform, 8.21min for benzen, 10.38miu for trichloroethylen and 11.95minfor 1,4-dioxane. 2. Standard RSD were individually chloroform 3.03%, benzen 3.17%, trichloroethylen 3.69%and 1,4-diorane 3.41%. 3. 60 samples were not detrcted chloroform, benzen, trichloroethylen and 1,4-dioxane.

        Antibacterial Properties of TiAgN and ZrAgN Thin Film Coated by Physical Vapor Deposition for Medical Applications

        We deposited TiAgN and ZrAgN nanocomposite coatings on pure Titanium specimens, by using arc ion plating (AIP) with single alloy targets. TiAg ZrAg alloy targets of 5 wt.%, 10 wt.% silver content by vacuum arc remelting (VAR), followed by homogenization for 2 hours at $1,100^{\circ}C$ in non-active Ar gas atmosphere and characterized these samples for morphology and chemical composition. We investigated the biocompatibility of TiAg and ZrAg alloys by examining the proliferation of L929 fibroblast cells by MTT test assay, after culturing the cells ($4{\times}10^4cells/cm^2$) for 24 hours; and exploring the antibacterial properties of thin films by culturing Streptococus Mutans (KCTC3065), using paper disk techniques. Our results showed no cytotoxic effects in any of the specimens, but the antibacterial effects against Streptococus Mutans appeared only in the 10 wt.% silver content specimens.

        Filtered Vacuum Arc법으로 WC-Co계 합금 표면에 형성된 DLC 박막의 구조적 특성 연구

        In this study, DLC films were deposited on the cobalt cemented tungsten carbide(WC-Co) substrate adopting the filtered vacuum arc(FVA) technique at different substrate bias voltages and various cobalt content. As a result of Raman analysis, the spectra from all samples in this study have similar shape, with a broad skewed peak centered at approximately 1,550[cm<SUP>-1</SUP>], which is the characteristic of the diamond-like structure. Each spectrum was decomposed into two Gaussian line curves, one at the lower wave numbers between 1,322[cm<SUP>-1</SUP>] and 1,329[cm<SUP>-1</SUP>](D peak) and the other at the higher wave numbers between 1,565[cm<SUP>-1</SUP>] and 1,570[cm<SUP>-1</SUP>](G peak). However, we could not find any change of Raman-shift. According to XPS, as the cobalt content increased, sp3 ratio was decreased. This effect can be inferred that the cobalt binder suppress diamond nucleation and subsequent growth of diamond.

      • Titanium dioxide nanoparticles trigger p53-mediated damage response in peripheral blood lymphocytes

        <P>Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>) are widely used as a photocatalyst in air and water remediation. These nanoparticles are known to induce toxicity; however, their cytotoxic mechanism is not fully understood. In this study, we investigated the underlying mechanism of nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>-induced cytotoxicity in peripheral blood lymphocytes. We examined the genotoxic effects of nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> in lymphocytes using alkaline single-cell gel electrophoresis (Comet) and cytokinesis-block micronucleus (CBMN) assays. Lymphocytes treated with nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> showed significantly increased micronucleus formation and DNA breakage. Western-blot analysis to identify proteins involved in the p53-mediated response to DNA damage revealed the accumulation of p53 and activation of DNA damage checkpoint kinases in nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>-treated lymphocytes. However, p21 and bax, downstream targets of p53, were not affected, indicating that nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> does not stimulate transactivational activity of p53. The generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>-treated cells was also observed, andN-acetylcysteine (NAC) supplementation inhibited the level of nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>-induced DNA damage. Given that ROS-induced DNA damage leads to p53 activation in the DNA damage response, our results suggest that nano-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> induces ROS generation in lymphocytes, thereby activating p53-mediated DNA damage checkpoint signals.         Intraocular Lens Power Calculation after Refractive Surgery: A Comparative Analysis of Accuracy and Predictability

        Purpose: To compare the accuracy of intraocular lens (IOL) power calculation using conventional regression formulae or the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) IOL power calculator for previous corneal refractive surgery. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 96 eyes from 68 patients that had undergone cataract surgery after keratorefractive surgeries. We calculated the formula with two approaches: IOL powers using the ASCRS IOL power calculator and IOL powers using conventional formulae with previous refractive data (Camellin, Jarade, Savini, and clinical history method) or without prior data (0, 2 and, 4 mm total mean power in topography, Wang-Koch-Maloney, Shammas, Seitz, and Maloney). Two conventional IOL formulae (the SRK/T and the Hoffer Q) were calculated with the single K and double K methods. Mean arithmetic refractive error and mean absolute error were calculated at the first postoperative month. Results: In conventional formulae, the Jarade method or the Seitz method, applied in the Hoffer Q formula with the single K or double K method, have the lowest prediction errors. The least prediction error was found in the Shammas-PL method in the ASCRS group. There was no statistically significant difference between the 10 lowest mean absolute error conventional methods, the Shammas-PL method and the Barrett True-K method calculated with using the ASCRS calculator, without using preoperative data. Conclusions: The Shammas-PL formula and the Barrett True-K formula, calculated with the ASCRS calculator, without using history, were methods comparable to the 10 most accurate conventional formulae. Other methods using the ASCRS calculator show a myopic tendency.

        우리나라 임업노동력 육성정책에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 우리나라 임업노동력 육성정책을 파악하기 위해 산림기본계획과 산림청의 주요 산림시책을 분석하였다. 산림기본계획에서의 임업노동력 육성은 제2차 산림기본계획까지는 산림조합의 기계작업단 설치 및 임업기계훈련원 설치 등 임업노동력 확보 정책이 추진되었다. 제4차 산림기본계획에서는 임업기계 및 작업시스템 개발을 통한 효율적인 산림작업 기반을 마련하였으며, 제5차 산림기본계획에서는 전문성을 갖춘 임업기능인 양성 확대, 제6차 산림기본계획에서는 산림사업 육성 및 확대를 통한 새로운 일자리 창출 등이 추진되었다. 산림청의 주요 산림시책을 유형별로 구분하여 분석한 결과 ①임업노동 부문은 안정적 노동력 확보 및 확대를 위한 제도 정비, ②교육훈련 부문은 현장 맞춤형 기능인력양성을 위한 훈련 기반 정비와 기술향상 교육, ③후생복지 부문은 교육훈련보조비 지원과 사기진작을 통한 임업기능인 지위향상, ④임업기계 부문은 우리나라 맞춤형 임업기계 개발과 작업시스템 보완을 통한 기술력 향상 정책 등이 추진되었다. This study analyzed basic forest plan and key forest policies of Korea Forest Service to assess the policy to promote forestry labor forces of Korea. Regarding promoting of forestry labor under the basic forest plan, policy for securing of forestry labor force including installation of mechanical work group and forestry machine training institute of the forestry cooperative was implemented up to the 2<sup>nd</sup> basic forest plan. In the 4<sup>th</sup> basic forest plan, foundation for efficient forestry works was established through development of forestry machines and work system while the 5<sup>th</sup> basic forest plan pursued expansion of promoting of forestry technicians equipped with expertise in their relevant areas and the 6<sup>th</sup> basic forest plan strove to create new job opportunities through nurturing and expansion of forestry projects. As the results of analysis of the key forest policies of Korea Forest Service by categorizing them in accordance with their types, policies for ① organization of system for securing and expansion of stable labor force for the forestry labor aspect, ② organization of training foundation and education for improvement of skills aimed at cultivation of technical and skilled manpower customized for the work sites for the education and training aspect, ③ improvement of the status of forestry technicians through provision of subsidies for education and training, and boosting of morale for the welfare aspect, and ④ improvement of technical capabilities through development of forestry machines customized to Korea and supplementation of work system for the forestry machine aspect, etc. were pursued.
