A 56 year old female was admitted because of the right upper quadrant mass for 4 days. She complained of intermittent colicky RUQ pain, fever and chills. So diagnostic procedures was performed: Blood chemistry testings. Ultrasonography. Barium enema, Liver scan, Hepatobiliary scan, ERCP and Abdomen CT, which diagnosed as gall bladder carcinoma. So explolaparotomy was performed and gross operative finding was gall bladder carcinoma with metastatic lymph node and cystic duct stone. So cholecystectomy, hemigastrectomy and anterior segmentectomy of right liver was done. But the biopsy result was cystic duct stone, cholecystitis and gall bladder empyema.

Regeneration of periodontal tissue after a loss of attachment due to disease or trauma repesents an important issue in dentistry, and various bone graft materials have been used to regenerated lost periodontal tissue and restore proper fuctions. Among those, allografts have been extensively researched and widely used clinically, since they are known to possess an excellent osteoinduction capability and result in proper topography of alveolar bone. Regeneration of periodontal tissue in supraalveolar defects may be technically difficult. However, a large amount of regeneration has been observed by complete tissue coverage of involved teeth. In this study, supraalveolar defects in adult dogs were treated with periodontal surgery, decalcified freez-dried bone allograft, complete tissue coverage was attained, and effects on repair and regeneration of alveolar bone, cementum and periodontal ligament were studied. Exposure of premolar furcation of adult dogs was attained by removing marginal alveolar bone down to 5mm from CEJ, and root surfaces were planed with curettes. On the left side, defects were treated without any allograft(Control Group). On the right side, a DFDB was used(Experimental Group). In all groups, flaps were coronally positioned and sutured, completely submerging the treated defects. At two weeks, the crown were exposed 2-3mm. Healing progresses were histologically observed after eight weeks and the results were as follows : 1. Distance from CEJ to AJE was : $2.82{\pm}0.66mm$ in the control group, $1.71{\pm}0.51mm$ in experimental group, with significant differences between groups.(P<0.01) 2. Periodontal repair was : $2.18{\pm}0.66mm$ in the control group, $3.29{\pm}0.51mm$ in experimental group, with significant differences between groups.(P<0.01) 3. Connective tissue repair was : $1.43{\pm}0.52mm$ in the control group, $0.76{\pm}0.47mm$ in experimental group, with significant differences between groups.(P<0.01) Orientation of connective tissue fibers in relation to root surfaces was : mostly parallel in the control group, vertical or parallel or irregular in experimental group. 4. The amount of cementum formation was : $1.66{\pm}0.58mm$ in the control group, $2.86{\pm}0.66mm$ in experimental group, with significant differences between groups. 5. The amount of alveolar bone formation was : $0.76{\pm}0.72mm$ in the control group, $2.53{\pm}0.56mm$ in experimental group, with significant differences between groups.(P<0.01)

The main process of fracture healing of the bone includes formation of callus by proliferation and differentiation of osteogenic cells, and endochondral ossification of callus. Estrogen is the principal hormone responsible for maintenance of balance between resorption and formation of bone in living organism. Its role in fracture healing process is suggested by meany authors but it is still remain unclear. To investigate the effects of depletion and repletion of estrogen on maturation of callus after rib fracture, fracture of the rib in ovariectomized and estrogen repleted (after ovariectomy) rats were done, and rats were sacrificed 1 week, 2 weeks and 3 weeks after rib fracture respectively. Light microscopic observation of the callus stained with Masson's trichrome method was also performed and results were as follows; 1. In control rats, collagen fibers in callus were evenly distributed in trabeculae at 1 week and 2 weeks after fracture, but it was condensed around the lacunae, and ossification of callus was observed 3 weeks after fracture. 2. In ovariectomized rats, bony callus showed similar findings with those of control rat at 1 week and 2 weeks after fracture, but ossification of callus were markedly decreased at 3 weeks after fracture. 3. In ovariectomized and estrogen retreated rats, ossification of callus were increased than those of control rat at 2 weeks after fracture, and showed similar findings with control rat at 3 weeks after fracture. It is consequently suggested that ossification of callus in healing process of the rib fracture is retarded by estrogen depletion induced by ovariectomy and it may be facilitated by estrogen treatment.

This paper presents the experimental study of the static stiffness for the BT Shank(7/24 Long Taper) and the HSK Tool Shank(1/10 Short taper). The static stiffness test was performed under different experimental conditions. The results obtained are as follows ; As known in the analysis results of the Load-Deflection diagram of the 7/24 Test tool shank, it is turned out that the diagram is a linear characteristics without regard to axial drawing force, and according as the axial drawing force get to the 6kN, the static stiffness of the shank increase linearly. Thus the effective axial drawing force which maintains the static stiffness of the Main spindle taper of Machine Tool is larger than 6kN. It is found that the Load-Deflection diagram with 6kN of drawing force in the 1/10 Test tool shank is characterized by non-linear. But according as the axial drawing force is increasing by the 8kN, the diagram is characterized by linear. And increasing amount of deflection is about 60%. Therefore commendable axial drawing force is larger than 8kN. As a result, considering that the actual drawing force of the Machining Center is about 1300kgf and axial drawing force 12kN is equivalent amount as a 1220kgf, it is turned out that 1/10 Test tool shank superior to 7/24 Test tool shank in the static stiffness.

Stomach contents of fat greenling, Hexagrammos otakii were analyzed to understand feeding ecology of the fish in the coastal waters, Shinsudo, Sachon. Specimens were collected by angling and by gill net from February 1984 to September 1985. The fish consisted of 4 age groups from 0 to 3. The food items of the fish changed slightly by seasons and with growth of the fish. Main preys were copepods, gammarids and caprellids for the fish of age group 0, gammarids and caprellids for age group 1, and brachyurans and carideans for age group 2 and 3. The prey composition of the fish were more varied by seasons than by ages. Food items was not different between male and female of the fish. The fish positively selected for gammarids, polychaetes and brachyurans, but negatively selected for gastropods. The degree of selectivities for the other preys were changed with growth. As the fish grows it consumed larger preys in case of small preys such as gammarids and caprellids, however, it did not consumed larger preys beyond an optimal size in case of large preys such as sphaeromids, brachyurans and polychaetes.
