        건축물 건설단계에서의 에너지소비량 및 CO₂배출량 원단위 산출

        The purpose of this study is to establish the database that could be applied to the building LCA Firstly, in this paper, the methodologies of building LCA and energy based I/O model for estimating embodied energy of building materials were examined Then, the intensity of energy consumption and CO₂ emission for building materials and construction stage were estimated The intensity database for building materials calculated by the I/O table published in 2000 was compared with the database by the I/O table published in 1995 According to the result of comparison, there were a little differences between the results calculated by the new and the previous data, and two results showed nearly the same patterns So, it could be said that the industrial activity change has little effect on the energy intensity of building materials during the past 5 years For the calculation of the energy intensity in the construction stages, the payment documents of an ad and electricity consumptions during construction for the sample buildings were surveyed and the intensity per a building gross area were calculated The database presented in this paper could be applied to the building LCA process as the basic data for analysing global worming effect caused by building construction

        공동주택 신축단계에서의 에너지소비 및 CO2배출 특성 평가

        The major contents of this study is to assess the environmental load quantitatively through calculating the energy consumption and CO2 emission of building material use at the apartment construction. The data base of the previous study was used for the basic unit of building material and the construction stage.The number of building materials was 1,467 items and when materials of different sizes as the same material are considered the number was 533 items. This can be get from the basic unit data base of more than 70 industrial parts in I/O table. The energy consumption and CO2 emission of the architectural part was 78.7% and 81.4% of the total and the energy consumption and CO2 emission of 3 parts including mechanical and civil parts was 96.6 % and 97.3%. CO2 emission of mainly 40 materials of each part was 95% but top 10 materials of total parts were architectural materials and CO2 emission of 50 materials was 90.3%.It is confirmed quantitatively that steel bar, cement, gypsum board, glass have great influence on CO2 emission and it might be said that LAC assessment will be simplified using some major materials' data since 90% of the total energy consumption and CO2 emission can be assessed using 50 materials.

        라그랑지안 좌표계의 유한요소법을 이용한 비뉴튼성 액체내 구형기포의 수축에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 구형 cavitation bubble이 upper convected Maxwell fluid 내에서 수축할 때의 현상을 이론적으로 해석하였다. 수치해법으로는 Lagrangian frame에서 자유표면을 추적하는 완전한 explicit scheme을 개발함으로써 수치해법상의 문제점을 해결한 방법을 이용하였다. 유체의 탄성은 Reynolds수가 10 이하인 경우 수축 초기단계에서는 수축을 가속화하고 후기 단계에서는 감속시키지만, Reynolds수가 10보다 큰 경우는 관성이 지배적이 되어 무시되었다. 후기 단계의 수축의 지연은 정성적으로는 cavitation damage의 감소와 연관이 있을 것으로 예측되었다. In this research, the collapse of a spherical caviation bubble contained in a large body of upper convected Maxwell fluid was studied theoretically. A fully explicit numerical scheme was developed which could track the bubble surface without iteration. It was observed that, when Re was less than 10, fluid elasticity accelerated the collapse in the early stage of collapse while in the later stage it retarded. When Re was larger than 10, however, fluid elasticity was no longer effective in changing the pace of collapse due to the large inertia. The retardation for Re<10 was expected to be related with the reduced cavitation damage in viscoelastic fluids.

        문화 개념의 역사적 변동과 지형: 문화 연구의 지향점 재검토를 위하여

        It is very difficult to give a final definition of culture, for it has thick layers of meanings which have been historically accumulated. Therefore this paper aims to examine the way how the concept of culture has been socially thematized rather than to present an alternative definition of culture. The important moments of social thematization of culture are as follows. 1) 18-th Century German philosophers’ critiques of civilization by way of the concept of culture. 2) The conceptual extension and neutralization of culture by cultural anthropology. 3) The various terminologies of culture developed by sociologists. 4) The appearance of cultural critiques in terms of the rise of mass culture. 5) The leftist appropriation of concept of culture by English Culturalists and the rise of Cultural Studies. 6) The weakening of normative foundation of cultural criticism exemplifies by Bourdieu’s “cultural capital.” Now, cultural studies have to assume the tasks not only to deepen the empirical studies against the dominant cultures but also to elaborate the normative foundation of cultural critiques to achieve their critical intents. 문화 개념은 의미의 층이 두텁기 때문에 그것에 대한 결정적 정의를 제공하기 어렵다. 따라서 이 글은 문화 개념에 대한 정의를 제시하기보다는 그것이 사회적으로 테마화된 방식을 검토하고자 한다. 이 논문을 통해서 논의된 문화 개념의 변동에서 중요한 계기는 다음과 같다. 1) 문화 개념을 경유한 18세기 독일 철학자들의 문명 비판. 2) 문화인류학에 의한 문화 개념의 확장과 중립화. 3) 사회학에 의한 통한 문화 개념의 다양한 용어법의 개발. 4) 대중문화의 발흥과 더불어 형성된 문화비판 프로그램의 출현. 5) 영국 문화주의자들에 의한 문화 개념의 좌파적 전유와 경험적 문화연구의 형성. 6) 부르디외의 “문화자본” 개념의 출현이 예시하는 문화 비판의 규범적 토대 약화. 이런 문화 개념의 변동 속에서 문화 연구는 그것의 비판적 의도의 실현을 위해서 지배문화에 대항하여 경험적 연구를 더욱 심화시켜야 할 뿐 아니라 규범적 토대를 정교화하는 것을 핵심 과제로 삼아야 할 상황에 처해 있다.

        Furlow 구개성형술을 이용한 점막하 구개열의 치료 효과: 두개골계측 및 언어 검사 분석

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the anatomic and functional changes of submucous cleft palate operated with Furlow palatoplasty. A total of 36 patients with submucous cleft palate underwent Furlow palatoplasty from 1993 to 1998. The mean follow-up period was 5 years 3 months. Midfacial growth was measured using lateral cephalograms in 18 patients, whose age was older than 8 years of age. Speech analyses were performed in 25 patients by the same speech pathologist for the degrees of nasality and articulation. The parameters obtained in the lateral cephalogram were compared with a healthy population in Korea. ANS-PNS was in 61.1% within the clinical normal range for the age group. SNA and SNB were in 55.6% within the normal range. ANB was in 72.2% and Ba-PNS was 50.0% within the range. The postoperative nasality scores of open vowels and round vowels were 24.2% and 25.2%, respectively, which were lower than preoperative scores. The mean articulation accuracy value was 92.9% which was higher than preoperative value. Our results suggest that Furlow palatoplasty is a useful procedure as the initial treatment of the submucous cleft palate and has the advantages in both aspects of speech results and facial growth.

        Deformation characteristics of spherical bubble collapse in Newtonian fluids near the wall using the Finite Element Method with ALE formulation

        A finite-element method was employed to analyze axisymmetric unsteady motion of a deformable bubble near the wall. In the present study a deformable bubble in a Newtonian medium near the wall was considered. In solving the governing equations a structured mesh generator was used to describe the collapse of highly deformed bubbles with the Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) method being employed in order to capture the transient bubble boundary effectively. In order to check the accuracy of the present FE analysis we compared the results of our FE solutions with the result of the collapse of spherical bubbles in a large body of fluid in which solutions can be obtained using a 1D FE analysis. It has been found that 1D and 2D bubble deformations are in good agreement for spherically symmetric problems confirming the validity of the numerical code. Non-spherically symmetric problems were also solved for the collapse of bubble located near a plane solid wall. We have shown that a microjet develops at the bubble boundary away from the wall as already observed experimentally. We have discussed the effect of Reynolds number and distance of the bubble center from the wall on the transient collapse pattern of bubble.
