        양격산화탕(凉膈散火湯)의 항염증(抗炎症) 효과에 대한 연구

        Objective: Yang Geouk San Hwa - Tang (YGSHT) has been widely used in Sasang Constitutional Medicine of Korea for treatment of acute inflammatory symptom, such as palatine tonsillitis, polydipsia, headache, papule, pimple however, the mechanism of its anti-inflammatory activity has not been clarified. In this study, therefore, we investigated the mechanism of the inhibitory effect of YGSHT on LPS-induced inflammation. Materials and methods: The effect of YGSHT was analyzed by ELISA, RT-PCR and Western blotting in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. Results: We found that YGSHT suppressed not only the production of pre-inflammatory cytokines (IL-$1{\beta}$ and TNF-$\alpha$), the generation of nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E (PGE)2, but also the mRNA expression of pre-inflammatory cytokines, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and cyclooxygenase (COX)-2. Furthermore, YGSHT was shown to inhibit the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and JNK1/2 and the activation and translocation of NF-kB from cytosol to nuclear in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. Conclusions: These results suggest that YGSHT exerts an anti-inflammatory effect through the regulation of the ERK1/2 and JNK1/2 pathway and NF-kB pathway, thereby decreasing production of pre-inflammatory cytokines, NO, and PGE2.

        청간소요산으로 호전된 설통 환자 3례

        Objectives: This clinical study reports the effects of Cheonggansoyo-san (CSS) on three patients with glossodynia. Methods: Three patients with glossodynia were treated with CSS (i.e., an herbal medicine) and acupuncture. Numeric rating scales (NRSs) for glossodynia and dry mouth and hwa-byung questionnaire scores were evaluated, and the results from heart rate variability (HRV) evaluations were analyzed. Results: After treatment with CSS, three patients' glossodynia symptoms, such as burning sensations, tingling, and numbness of the tongue, were improved. NRS ratings for glossodynia and dry mouth and the hwa-byung questionnaire scores also improved, and HRV parameters were closer to the normal range. Conclusion: Cheonggansoyo-san could be used to treat glossodynia.

        축구선수의 Detraining과 Retraining이 혈청지질 및 호르몬농도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of detraining and retraining on serum lipid and hormones in soccer players. Subjects were seven male high-school soccer players. V˙O_2max was determined for each subjects by administering a treadmill test(initial speed: 90m/min, grade: 5%, increasing speed per 3 min: 30m/min). Serum lipid(T-C, TG, HDL-C LDL-C) and hormones(epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormones, cortisol) were assayed pre and post detraining in 10, 20, 30 days after retraining. The repeated ANOVA was used to determine significant differences. The 0.05 level of significance was as critical level for the study. The results of the study were as follows: 1. V˙O_2max(ml/min) were 3576.3±204.2ml/min pre detraining, 3234.1±198.9 ml/min post detraining. There are significant(p<.05) difference between pre and post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, V˙O_2max(ml/min) were 3601.4±170.9 ml/min. There were significantly(p<.05) increased in retraining periods. 2. V˙O_2max(ml/kg/min) were significantly(p<.05) decreased from 62.3±2.9 ml/kg/min to 55.9±4.7 ml/kg/min in detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, V˙O_2max(ml/kg/min) were 62.4±3.4ml/kg/min, 62.7±2.3ml.kg/min, 67.3±7.2ml/kg/min respectively. There were significantly(p<.05) increased in retraining periods. 3. T-C were significantly (p<.05) increased from 166.6±8.5mg/dl to 175.3±10.3 mg/dl in detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, T-C were 160.1± 3.2mg/dl, 156.7±3.7mg/dl, 140.3±9.0mg/dl. There were significantly(p<.05) decreased in retraining periods. 4. HDL-C were 61.4±6.6mg/di pre detraining, 5.3±6.6mg/dl post detraining. There are significant(p<.05) difference between pre and post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, HDL-C were 56.9±7.1mg/dl, 56.4±9.2mg/dl, 57.7±9.1mg/dl respectively. There were no significant difference in retraining periods. 5. The hormones(epinephrine. norepinephrine, growth hormone, cortisol) were changed as same patterns. Epinephrine were 26.0±7.0[g/ml pre detraining, 24.6±3.2pg/ml post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, epinephrine were 26.9±5.6pg/ml, 30.6±6.2pg/ml, 29.4±5.6pg/ml respectively. There were no significant difference in retraining periods. In conclusion, HDL-C, epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormone and cortisol were decreased, T-C, LDL-C and TG were increased in detraining. But HDL-C, epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormone and cortisol were increased, T-C, LDL-C and TG were decreased in retraining.

      • 목운동에 따른 상반신 체표면 변화에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in upper body surface lines caused by the neck movements. Experimental research was performed by gypsum method and the neck movements were consisted of 5 types (upright posture, bending down, bending backward, leaning a head to the right side, and leaning a head to the left side). The results were as follows; 1) As a result of investigating into the rate of the expansion and contraction of horizontal body surface lines, front shoulder line was moved to be inside and back shoulder line was moved to be upside. There was a negative correlation between c3∼d1 and d1∼d2. Generally, the most of front body surface lines were contracted and back lines were mostly expanded. In particular, the rate of changes in shoulder area was higher than other areas. 2) The result of the analysis of the vertical body surface lines, the length of the center back line was increased except the movement of bending backward and the length of the renter front line was decreased in the movement of bending down. 3) According to the variation rates of the body surfaces in length of standard lines, the rate of increase of the length was higher in the front than in the back. 4) According to comparative drawing of the shape of the neck, the shape of the neck in the movement of bending backward and leaning a head to the right side was hollowed than that of the movement of upright posture. But the movement of bending down and leaning a head to the left sloe was more flat. As has been observed, upper body parts whose measurements of body surface lines were differed significantly in the neck movements. Accordingly, the task of designing garments with good neck fitness should be achieved by taking the widen amount caused by the neck movements.

      • 성인용 브래지어의 치수체계에 관한 실태조사 : 케이블 TV홈쇼핑 판매제품을 중심으로 focusing on products in Cable TV Home Shopping

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the suitability of size of adult women's brassieres sold in Cable TV Home-Shopping. For this purpose, the characteristics of the manufacture's size chart for brassieres were analyzed and compared with Korean Industrial Standard size chart. The results of this study show that 1. The main target age of underwear brand (especially PB brand) in Cable TV Home Shopping was adult women in their middle 30's to early 40's. 2. As a consequence of reviewing the production ratio of each brassiere cup size, that of "A" and "B" cup appeared in a ratio of 7 to 3. And the highest production ratio of "A" cup size was 45% (80A), followed by 35% (75A), 15% (85A), and 5% (90A) in their order. As for B cup size, 80B was 40%, 75B was 30%, 85B was 25%, 90B was 5%. 3. Cup sizes labeled on brassieres sold in Cable TV Home-Shopping were not consistent with revised cup sizes (KS K 0070:1999) and still all brassieres were labeled by former cup sizes (KS K 0070:1987). 4. In the case of underbust circumference and bust circumference, the manufacture's size chart was not consistent with Korean Industrial Standard size chart (KS K 0070:1999). That's why Korean Industrial Standard size chart is not taken into consideration for elastic materials. 5. There is no size chart based on the characteristics of volumes and shapes of the breasts in Korean Industrial Standard size chart. Therefore, we need to set up the method of deciding the cup sizes to make up for the problem of current brassiere sizing system

        취업장애인의 임금 결정 요인

        취업장애인의 저임금은 장애로 인한 높은 추가비용과 공적급여의 미비로 인해 빈곤과 직결되어 있으며, 사회의 양극화 현상을 심화시키는 심각한 문제이다. 따라서 취업 장애인의 임금을 결정하는 요인을 포괄적이고 다각적으로 파악하고, 향후 발전적 방향에 대한제시가 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구는 취업장애인의 임금에 영향을 미치는 요인을 인구학적,장애관련, 인적자본, 노동시장 요인에 따라 분석하고 근로소득을 높이기 위한 정책적, 실천적 함의를 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 제1차년도 장애인고용패널 데이터의 취업장애인 중 자영업자와 고용주를 제외한 임금근로자 1,212명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 인구학적 요인에서 성별, 결혼상태, 연령이, 장애관련 요인에서 장애유형, 장애등급, 장애발생 연령이, 인적자본 요인에서 고용서비스 이용여부, 직업교육 경험여부, 자격증 유무, 직급, 교육연한, 근속연수가, 노동시장 요인에서는 노동조합 유무, 복리후생 유무, 종사상 지위, 일자리 산업내용, 사업체 규모, 월근무시간이 월임금수준에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 취업장애인의 임금을 향상하기 위한 방안을 인적자본 요인과 노동시장 요인을 중심으로 제언하였다. For workers with disabilities in Korea earned income accounts for the major proportion of their total income. This is due to a lack of public assistance for workers with disabilities, which means working is the major source of income. However, despite the importance of employment, their earned income is very low, so their economic situation is precarious. Nevertheless, there has been little research done on the determinants of earned income of workers with disabilities. The purpose of this study is to examine how demographic, disability, human capital, and employment characteristics affect earned income. Throughout this research, this study aims to propose implications for social work policy and practice to increase earned income. Utilizing data from ‘Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled,’ 1,212 samples were analyzed. Results found that the type of disabilities, gender, vocational training, occupational type, and employment status influence the earned income of workers with disabilities. Based on the findings of this study, this paper argues that the capability of workers with disabilities should be improved by individualized vocational training. This paper also recommends the expansion of the employment market in the public sector and enterprise sector.

      • 흰쥐 선조체에서 6-OHDA-유도 도파민 고갈 및 SH-SY5Y 세포주에서 6-OHDA-유도 산화적 스트레스에 대한 I-Deprenyl의 신경 보호효과

        A neurotoxin, 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) has long been used to form a Parkinson's disease (PD) model by inducing the lesion in catecholaminergic pathways, particularly the nigrostriatal dopamine (DA) pathway. Whereas I-deprenyl, a selective inhibitor of monoamine exidase (MAO) type B, is now widely used in the treatment of PD, the precise action mechanism of the drug remains elusive. In this studym, we investigated whether I-deprenyl shows protective effect against the DA depletion induced by 6-OHDA in rat brain, and against 6-OHDA-induced neurotoxicity and oxidative stress in catecholaminergic neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells that are known to lack MAO-B activity. Pretreatment fo I-deprenyl significantly enhanced the striatal DA, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid, homovanilic acid, and 3-methoxytyramine levels compared to the untreated 6-OHDA-lesioned rat, indicating that I-deprenyl pretreatment prevents 6-OHDA-induced depletion of not only striatal dopamine but also its metabolites. Treatment of 6-OHDA for 24 hrs decreased the cell viability and increase the generation of ROS in dose-dependent manners.We further investigated whether caspase activity is involved in the action of I-deprenyl. Treatment of I-deprenyl (0.1~100μM) did not produce any changes in 6-OHDA-induced cleavage of poly (ACP-ridose) polymerase in SH-SY5Y cells. Our result suggest that the neuroprotective effect of I-deprenyl against 6-OHDA is due to its incresed scavenger activity, but independent of inhibition of MAO-B or caspase-3activation.

      • Mongolian gerbil 심장동맥의 해부학적 연구

        The arterial supply to heart of mongolian gerbil has been described. Observations were made by the specimens injected with latex after the flowing through in left ventricle. The results were summaried as follows; 1. A. coronaria arose from the initial portion of Aorta in heart and A. coronaria dextra and sinistus arose in Aortic sinus on 10 specimens. A. coronaria sinistra arose more near boundary of Aortic sinus than A. coronaria dextra. 2. A. coronaria sinistra which arose from Aortic sinus divided into Ramus interventricularis sinistra and Ramus circumflexus sinistra. A. coronaria dextra which arose from Aortic sinus only runed continously as Ramus interventriculares dextra. 3. Ramus interventricular sinistra not reach the heart apex through the sulcus interventricula but stopped in thoracocostal plan extending to under part. 4. R. circumflexus runed theough sulcus coronarius, thereafter it runed from left ventricle to Sulcus interventricularis dorsalis. 5. A. coronaria dextra runed to diaphargm side through sulcus interventricula dorsi thereafter it became Ramus interventricular dextra. It distrubuted left and right ventricle wall on 8 specimens and 2 specimen stopped margo obtusus.
