Carcinoid tumors have been reported in a wide range of organs but most commonly involve the lungs, bronchi and gastrointestinal tract. Within the gastrointestinal tract, appendix is the most common location for carcinoid, followed by the distal small intestine, the rectum, and the stomach. Among these, primary involvement of the ampulla of Vater is extremely rare. We report a case of carcinoid tumor of ampulla of Vater. A 62-year-old man presented with epigastric soreness. Gastroduodenal endoscopy showed hyperemic bulging mass on ampulla of Vater and diagnosed as carcinoid tumor by histologic finding, with immunohistochemical study. In ^(111)In-octreoscan, tumor had regional lymph node metastasis, but no evidence of distant metastasis. Pancreatoduodenectomy with lymph node dissection was performed.

Radiofrequency ablation(RFA), as a form of minimally invasive therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma, has become an important treatment modality. Because of limitation of surgery, RFA has become standard therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma in some situations. But there are some complications of RFA such as bleeding, infection, hematoma, adjacent organ thermal damage including intestinal perforation, needle track seeding, and so on. There are few reports in the literature that systematically evaluate the incidence of needle tract seeding and its associated risk factors. And only 2 cases of needle tract seeding of hepatocellular carcinoma after RFA were reported in Korea. We report a case of needle tract seeding of hepatocellular carcinoma after RFA.

측모두부방사선사진의 중첩만으로는 교합평면상의 치아이동을 알 수 없으며, occlusogram 역시 촬영 및 중첩의 오류를 피할 수 없다. 본 연구는 석고모형의 3차원 영상을 촬영한 후 3차원 영상 소프트웨어를 이용하여 중첩된 영상을 통해 상악 소구치 발치공간 폐쇄 후 상악 구치부 회전양상을 알아보고자 하였다. 성인여성 19명을 연구대상으로 하여 치료 전 석고모형 및 치료 완료후 석고모형의 3차원 영상을 촬영한 후, 상악 경구개면을 기준으로 두 영상을 중첩한 다음, 치료 전후의 상악 구치부의 회전양상을 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과, 구치부의 회전 양상은 매우 다양하였다. 그 주요 원인은 치료 전 상악 구치의 다양한 회전 상태와 치열궁 및 치아의 형태학적인 특성 때문인 것으로 추측되었다. 따라서 발치공간 폐쇄 시 일어나는 구치의 회전 양상을 3차원 영상을 이용하여 정확히 평가하기 위해서는 치료 전후에 일어나는 구치의 회전을 초기 배열 전후의 구치 회전, 발치공간 폐쇄 전후의 구치 회전, 그리고 마무리 단계 전후의 구치 회전으로 세분하여 평가해야 함을 알 수 있었다. Cephalometric superimposition is unable to evaluate tooth movement along the occlusal plane and the errors of photographing and superimposition of the occlusogram is also inevitable. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the rotational movements of the maxillary posterior teeth following space closure after extraction of maxillary first premolars, using 3D dental images. In 19 adult females, analysis of rotational movements of the maxillary posterior teeth was performed between the initial and final 3D dental images superimposed on the maxillary hard palate. The results showed a diversity of rotational movements of posterior teeth. The causes of various rotational movements may be different rotation of molars in each case at the beginning of treatment. individual characters of the dental arch and tooth morphology. The results of the study indicate that accurate evaluation of retational movements of posterior teeth following space closure after extraction of premolars using 3D dental images can be obtained through the subdivision of tooth movement during the initial aligning, space closure and finishing stages.
Back Propagation 알고리즘을 이용한 산업용 로봇의 견실제어

Neural networks are works are used in the framework of sensor based tracking control of robot manipulators. They learn by practice movements the relationship between PSD(an analog Position Sensitive Detector) sensor readings for target positions and the joint commands to reach them. Using this configuration, the system can track or follow a moving or stationary object in real time. Furthermore, an efficient neural network architecture has been developed for real time learning. This network uses multiple sets of simple back propagation networks one of which is selected according to which division(corresponding to a cluster of the self-organizing feature map) in data space the current input data belongs to. This lends itself to a very training and processing implementation required for real time control.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of chitosan, oligosaccharides on root and shoot growth promotion and fruit harvest of cucumber. Chitosan solution was made by hydrolysis with enzyme, and diluted in 1,000(50ppm), 3,000(16.7ppm), 5,000(10ppm) and 7,000(7ppm) times. 7,000 times diluted chitosan solution showed the best results on plant height, stem diameter, number of leave, leaf area, and leaf and petiole fresh weight, but fresh stem weight was inhibited in all concentrations of chitosan solution. Also fruit yield was increased 24.7% in 7,000 times diluted chitosan solution.

In this paper, we proposes two phase chopper system with flour. separate groups of D.C motor for regenerative braking. The main circuit consists of four sets of chopping parts, eight diodes and four separate groups of D.C motor. Although the proposed chopper circuit requires more circuit elements than the conventional two phase chopper system with, combined output, it has the following advantages: (1) The region of regenerative braking becomes twice as that of the conventional two phase chopper system. (2)Current division of load becomes equalized. Therefore. it is possible to drive not only series motor but also shunt and separately excited motor (3) The harmonic component of the source current is greatly diminished.

Since modern attacks against information system utilize large-scale and distributed network, they become more versatile and complicated. We propose a new model of intrusion detection system, IDSS that can effectively detect multiple resource attack from to the inter-system and intra-system. IDSS (Intrusion Detection System for Seoul women's university) is optimized in agent unit to detect multiple attacks on network effectively and designed to and respond to them in real time.

One hundred and thirty three cases of cerebrovascular disease, which were diagnosed by brain CT scan and angiography, were analysed. The results of analysis were summerized as follows: 1. Anatomical sites of hemorrhage were ICH(47.3%), SAH(33.8%), combined(12%) primary IVH(6.8%) in order of frequency. 2. The main causes of cerebrovascular disease were aneurysm, hypertension, AVM, and Moya Moya disease. 3. In cases of hypertensive hemorrhage, peak age incidence was above 5th decades and the hemorrhagic anatomical sites were basal ganglia, thalamus, cerebellum in order of frequency. 4. In cases of aneurysm, peak age incidence was above 5th decades and occured more frequently in females. The anatomical sites aneurysm were A-com, P-com, MCA in order of frequency. 5. The mortality of cerebrovascular disease was 13.5%.
