        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the third year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows : - analyzing and differentiating of epidemic febrile disease - analyzing and differentiating in accordance with the Sasang constitution medicine based on four-type recognition - differentiation of disease according to pathological changes of Chong and Ren channels - standards for diagnosis of women's disease - standards for diagnosis of children's disease - standards for diagnosis of motor and sensor disturbance (-muscle. born, joint, etc.) - standards for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disease - standards for diagnosis of five sense organ disease - standards for diagnosis of external disease The indivisual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs, the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern, discrimination of diagnosis pattern, prognosis, a way of curing a disease, prescription, herbs in common use, disease appearing the diagnosis pattern, documents. The standards for diagnosis of each disease was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of disease, the main point of diagnosis, analyzing and differentiating of disease, analysis of disease, discrimination of disease, prognosis, a way of curing and prescription of disease, disease in western medicine appearing the disease in oriental medicine, documents.

      • A Basic Study on Leaf and Stem Production of Angelica acutiloba

        This study was conducted to develop effective production system in greenhouse for leaves and stems of Angelica acutiloba by using connect pots in 2003 and 2004. Seed germination rate and plant biomass of Angelica acutiloba collected in 2004 were higher than those harvested in 2003. Germination rate of Angelica acutiloba seeds collected in 2003 was 10%, while germination rate of seeds collected in 2004 was above 90%. Especially, plant growth and yield of Angelica acutiloba grown in connect pots sized with 4×4×5cm(length×width×height) were the highest. These results indicate that leaf and stem production of Angelica acutiloba can be improved by using connect pots and optimizing seed collecting time in greenhouse.

      • 중등학교 체육수업의 교수행동과 실제학습시간에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to increase Academic learning Time -Physical Education(ALT-PE) by analyzing the relationship between the teaching behavior and the learning behavior in middle school physical education classes. The result of this study by recording the 10 randomly sellected teacher'physical education classes with VTR in Phyong tak city area abstracted as fallows. first, in teaching behaviors, teachers allocated class time in the order of monitoring, Management, Lecturing or Orienticipation, Corrective Skill feedback. In a correlation with Academic Learning Time - Physical(ALT-PE), hustle, Positive skill Feedback, Teacher Participation variable have positive correlation. However, Lecturing or Orientation, Naglect, Questioning show negative Correlation. Second, Academic Learning Time - Physical Education(ALT-PE) at middle school pyoung t다 city turn out to be a low 22.62 percent by analying student'behavior phenomenon. This figure is much lower than that of Seoul, Kyunggi, Chungbuk area(37.89) percent by Kim Tae-hyung) and Chungnam area(29.44 percent by Choi jong sun). It means that decreasing the time of Monitoring, Management and lecturing or Orientation makes the time of corrective skill feedback which showered positive correlation with Academic Learning Time - Physical Education(ALT-RE) Increase. In conclusion, teachers should utilize More effcient physical education teaching methods by developing various future-oriented teaching patterns to over come routine monotonous classes. To achieve this goal, teachers should analyze their own classes, use teaching aid materials, implement adequate teaching skill ; methods of drawing more student'attention effciency in class management and roll-calling, rapidness in arranging implements, simple and clear directions. In addition to, we have many problem to solve: insufficients, too many students in class with wating, moveing and non-activity time to be reduce, and so on. Naturally, to increase Academic Learning Time - Physical Education(ALT-PE), it is neccessary that problem above mentioned Will be solved.

        Modeling of CO<sub>2</sub> Emission from Soil in Greenhouse

        Greenhouse industry has been growing in many countries due to both the advantage of stable year-round crop production and increased demand for fresh vegetables. In greenhouse cultivation, $CO_2$ concentration plays an essential role in the photosynthesis process of crops. Continuous and accurate monitoring of $CO_2$ level in the greenhouse would improve profitability and reduce environmental impact, through optimum control of greenhouse $CO_2$ enrichment and efficient crop production, as compared with the conventional management practices without monitoring and control of $CO_2$ level. In this study, a mathematical model was developed to estimate the $CO_2$ emission from soil as affected by environmental factors in greenhouses. Among various model types evaluated, a linear regression model provided the best coefficient of determination. Selected predictor variables were solar radiation and relative humidity and exponential transformation of both. As a response variable in the model, the difference between $CO_2$ concentrations at the soil surface and 5-cm depth showed are latively strong relationship with the predictor variables. Segmented regression analysis showed that better models were obtained when the entire daily dataset was divided into segments of shorter time ranges, and best models were obtained for segmented data where more variability in solar radiation and humidity were present (i.e., after sun-rise, before sun-set) than other segments. To consider time delay in the response of $CO_2$ concentration, concept of time lag was implemented in the regression analysis. As a result, there was an improvement in the performance of the models as the coefficients of determination were 0.93 and 0.87 with segmented time frames for sun-rise and sun-set periods, respectively. Validation tests of the models to predict $CO_2$ emission from soil showed that the developed empirical model would be applicable to real-time monitoring and diagnosis of significant factors for $CO_2$ enrichment in a soil-based greenhouse.

      • 만경강 상류 유역의 수질 및 오염부하량 특성

        This study is to analyze characteristics of pollutant load on the upper Mankyeong river watershed with combined urban and rural area during the irrigation season. The magnitude of the runoff and the BOD were by order of Daechon, Jeonju stream, Gosan stream and Soyang stream. The amount of organic matter in the downstream was higher than the one in the upstream. The magnitude of the T-N was by order of Daechon, Jeonju, Soyang and Gosan. And T-P was by order of Daechon, Jeonju, Gosan and Soyang. As for T-N, 92% of the Jeonju stream transferred into the Daechon. On the other hand, T-P in Daechon decreased by 40% in comparison with the Jeonju stream, which is due to dilution and deposition while transferring. While period of irrigation, it was found that the quality of water at upstream of Mankyeong river in Gosan and Soyang were good, but a decline of water quality can be seen after joining with Jeonju. The ratio Jeonju to Daechon of BOD, T-N, and T-P were 55%, 92%, 163% respectively. Water quality at Jeonju stream get deteriorating and at Daechon point expect to get worse. From the concentration and load of pollution, Daechon point is more serious than Gosan and Soyan stream point.

      • CPW급전을 이용한 UWB 안테나 설계

        본 논문은 CPW급전 구조와 CST사의 Microwave Studio 사용하여 UWB 안테나를 설계하였다. 시물레이션 결과 제안된 안테나의 대역폭은 3.O5-13GHz를 가지고 방사패턴은 무지향성의 형태를 갖는 것을 보였다. In this paper, we have designed a UWB antenna using CPW feed line and used the Microwave Studio of CST to simulate the UWB antenna. Simulated results show that antenna bandwidth is 3.05-13GHz and radiation pattern is omni-directional.

        소음성난청 유소견자들의 사후관리 실태

        The number of workers with noise induced hearing loss which comprise 56.9% in the total number of workers with work-related diseases in Korea of 1994, are becoming in position of the most serious problem. Periodic health examination system which was introduced for health care of workers on hazardous workplace has played important role in health care and the prevention of work-related diseases. The goal of periodic health examination may be obtained when we not only discover occupational disease, but also control them effectively. To study the post-examination health status of workers with noise induced hearing loss diagnosed from 1991 to 1994 in the periodic health examination, all 154 workers in 102 manufacturing factories in Banwol and Siwha industrial complex were reviewed. 1. Among 154 workers, 87 workers(56.5%) were changed to different department, 67 workers(43.5%) remained in the same department. 2. Among 102 workplaces, only 23 workplaces(22.9%) had changed their working environment while 79 workplaces(77.1%) did not. 3. In this study, post-examination health care of the workers diagnosed as noise induced hearing loss had significant correlated with the presence of health care manager, Industrial Health and Safety Committee in workplace and size of industry. The improvement of working environment is also closely related with the presence of health care manager in workplace. 4. Among 154 respondents, 3 workers(1.9%) had received compensation while 151 workers(98.1%) did not. 5. The reasons for not requesting the compensation were that 117 workers(77.5%) were ignorant of the administrative procedure for compensation, 30 workers(19.9%) were not sure of receiving compensation, 4 workers(2.6%) were busy. Considering the result of this study, we must establish the guide of management or contents of post management for noise induced hearing loss. To prevent the noise induced hearing loss, and protect the workers with noise induced hearing loss, education about post management is much required for employer and employee.

        압자의 압입에 의한 치관 전장용 복합레진의 기계적 성질 평가

        This study was performed to evaluate the mechanical properties of four commercially available veneering resin composites for crown (Dentacolor: DC, Artglass: AG, Esternia: ET and Targis: TG). According to the manufacturer's instructions, disc specimens were fabricated in a teflon mold giving 12mm in diameter and 1 mm in thickness. All specimens were immersed in distilled water at 37℃ for 30 days. An indentation test of 68-degree trigonal diamond pyramid was made under 98.06 mN load for 15 seconds. Hardness numbers, charateristic indentation depths, flow and permanent deformation were measured and compared statistically by ANOVA and Tukey's multiple range test. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1.The highest hardness value of 87.4 was observed in the ET group and the lowest value of 11.8 was observed in the DC group. Hadness values showed no sinificant difference between the AG group and TG group, but others showed the significant difference beween groups (p<0.5). 2.Flow value of the ET group was significantly lower than those of the AG and TG groups of hybrid composite for crowns. 3.Percent strain during the indentation was the lowest in the DC group and the highest in the AG group, but there was no significant difference in each experimental group (p>0.05). 4.The relationship between the hardness number and flow during the indentation was a negative linear on a logarithmic scale.

        Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1α가 T세포성장 및 CD4, CD8 발현에 미치는 영향

        Macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-1αcytokine which produces wide range of bioctivities such as proinflammatory, immunomodulatory, and hematopoietic modulatory actions. To determine whether MIP-1αacts as a negative regulator on the functions of lymphocyte, [³H]-thymidine incorporation test and flow cytometric analysis were performed by using human tonsil T cell, human peripheral blood T cell, and murine cytolytic T lymphocyte (CTL) line CTLL-2, The mresults were as follow. 1. When human tonsil T lymphocytes were stimulated with anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody (mAb), rate of T cell proliferation was about four times increased. 200ng/ml of MIP-1α inhibited anti-CD3 mAb-mediated T cell growth as much as 60% (P<0.05)> 2. The suppression of human peripheral T cell proliferation produced by MIP-1αwas dramatic, but variable among T cells derived from different individuals (40%∼90%). 3. MIP-1αinhibited the mproliferation of murine CTL line CTLL-2 as much as 75%(P<0.001). 4. WHen the MIP-1αwas added to human peripheral T cell, cell proporation of CD4+ helper T cell and CD8+ CTL were not noticeably affected. The expression level of CD4, not of Cd8, however, was down regulated by MIP-1αtreatment (27%∼82%).
