비응축성 기체 존재 시 수직관 외벽에서의 응축 열전달계수 상관식 개발

본 연구에서는 비응축성 기체(공기)가 존재할 때, 10 mm의 직경을 갖는 수직 튜브 외벽에서의 응축 열전달계수를 측정하였다. 압력 2~5 bar, 공기 질량분율 10~75 %의 범위에서 실험을 수행하였다. 응축튜브 직경의 차이가 열전달계수에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해 측정 결과를 외경 40 mm의 응축튜브로부터 얻은 Lee의 실험 결과와 비교하였다. 본 연구의 측정결과와 Lee, 그리고 Dehbi의 실험결과를 이용하여 전열관의 직경에 의한 영향을 고려할 수 있는 실험적 상관식을 제안하였다. 제안된 상관식의 검증을 위해 Kawakubo의 실험결과와 예측값을 비교하였고, 평균 표준편차는 약 27 %로 나타났다. In this study, condensation heat transfer coefficients are measured in the presence of noncondensable gas (i.e., air) on a vertical tube with a 10-mm outer diameter. Experiments are conducted at pressures ranging from 2 to 5 bar and an air-mass fraction from 10 to 75 %. The experimental results are compared to the heat transfer coefficients obtained on a 40-mm O.D. tube, researched by Lee et al. Using the consolidated data from this study and Lee"s and Dehbi"s tests, a new empirical correlation for the condensation heat transfer coefficient of an air-steam mixture is developed. The proposed correlation is assessed against Kawakubo"s experimental results, and the mean standard deviation is ~27 %.

GC-ECD를 이용한 유기염소계 및 Pyrethroid계 농약 동시 분석법

Pesticides were extracted from samples with 70% acetone and methylene chloride in order, and then cleaned up via open-column chromatography apparatus packed with florisil, and finally analyzed simultaneously the organochlorine and pyrethroid pesticides using GC(ECD). An ultra-2 fused silica capillary column was used to separate and identify the products. The resolution between the last isomeric peak of cypermethrin(59.987min) and the first isomeric peak of flucythrinate(60.043min) was not satisfactory. The last isomeric peak of fenvalerate(62.344min) and the first isomeric peak of fluvalinate(62.397min) were overlapped. Recoveries of soybean sample for the most pesticides were 73.3% to 102.4%. Detection limits were between 0.004 and 0.063 ㎍/㎎ when this method was used.

Two new records of the genus Nola Leach, 1815 (Lepidoptera: Nolidae, Nolinae) from Laos

The genus Nola (Nolidae, Nolinae) was established by Leach (1815), with the Noctua palliola Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775 (a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena cucullatella Linnaeus, 1758) from Vienna, Austria. Nola comprises over 200 species: Africa and western Palearctic approximately described 100 speices (Hacker et al., 2012); Oriental and Eastern Palearctic regions have over 100 species (László et al., 2010; Sasaki et al., 2011; Kononenko and Pinratana, 2013). Two species of the genus Nola Leach; Nola euryzonata (Hampson, 1900) and Nola lucidalis (Walker, 1865), reported for the first time in Laos. Illustrations of adults and genitalia of all the examined species are provided.

Isolation and Transcriptional Expression of CuZn Superoxide Dismutase from Codonopsis lanceolata

To investigate the defense mechanism against the abiotic stress, a cDNA clone encoding a CuZn superoxide dismutase (CuZnSOD) protein was isolated from a cDNA library prepared from tabroot mRNAs of Codonopsis lanceolata. The eDNA, designated ClSODCc, is 799 nucleotides long and has an open reading frame of 459 bp with a deduced amino acid sequence of 152 residues. The deduced amino acid sequence of ClSODCc matched to the previously reported CuZnSODs. Consensus amino acid residues (His-45, -47, -62, -70, -79, -119 and Asp-82) were involved in Cu-, Cu/Zn-, and Zn- binding ligands. The deduced amino acid sequence of ClSODCc showed high homologies (82%-86%) regardless of species. Expression of ClSODCc by oxidative stress was increased up to 1 h after treatment and declined gradually. Much earlier and stronger expression of ClSODCc was observed in the cold stress treatment.

The Role of Marketing Function in the New Product Development Process in the Hotel Industry

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of marketing function in New Product Development(NPD) in the hotel industry. Method: In the research, using in-dept interviews with ten hotel managers and executives in the UK and South Korea, data were collected in the area of NPD. Results: Overall, this research found that categorization of new products in general in not fully applied to the hotel industry, due to their varied characteristics, including intangibility, heterogeneity, perishability and inseparability. However, the predevelopment stages was emphasized by the entire process and to a perversion of the concept of the product itself. In order to launch a new product successfully, the role of marketing is more than ever vital, leading activities in the commercialization. Conclusion: In conclusion, the results of this paper suggest that sophisticated market research is not performed as part of the process, but it is carried out throughout the process to monitoring market changes in the hotel industry. This study, furthermore, require into the specific NPD framework with a specific example of a new product in an organization, which would contribute to setting more systemic behavior for practitioners of NPD in hotels.

Asbestosis is the disease of pulmonary fibrosis caused by the inhaled asbestos fibers, and could be diagnosed clinically, in the case of exposure history to asbestos is proved, by clinical symptoms of dyspnea or dry cough, physical examonation findings, and the radiographic features. But many othder inorganic dusts would show similar findings in the chest radiogram and sometimes the exposure history is obscure, so for the exact diagnosis of asbestosis lung biopsy is needed. In Korea, there have been some reports of survey in the workplace where asbestos is handled or of asbestos related diseases. This is a case report of asbestosis with accompanying pleural plaques, who had the occupational exposure to asbestos for 30 years and the consistent clinical, radiographic and pathological findings in the lung tissue obtained by the videoscope assisted thoracoscopic biopsy(VATS).

Generalizes edema and hypoalbuminemia are relatively common presenting manifestations in many clinical situations. The differential diagnosis of hypoalbuminemia include; Kwashiorkor, synthetic dysfunction of the liver, and excessive protein loss as in nephrotic syndrome. In systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), hypoalbuminemia and generalized edema are most commonly due to protein loss associated with lupus nephritis; gastrointestinal involvement is uncommon, and therefore protein loss through the gastrointestinal tract is quite rare. We report a case of a protein losing enteropathy (PLE) associated with SLE. The patient was referred to out hospital for generalized edema, arthralgia and facial rash. After clinical evaluation, the patient met the criteria for the SLE diagnosis; hypoalbuminemia with general edema was consistent with a protein losing enteropathy. After two weeks of therapy with parenteral high dose glucocorticoid, the patients was improved in laboratory findings as well as clinical symptoms.

크로스오버 그림책의 이중독자 반응연구: 이수지의 ‘경계’ 그림책 3부작을 중심으로

본 연구는 크로스오버 그림책 읽기 과정에서 이중독자의 반응양상을 통해 의미생산과정이 어떠한지 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 이수지의 ‘경계’ 그림책 『거울 속으로』, 『파도야 놀자』, 『그림자놀이』 3권을 연구도구로 하여 총 8회기에 걸쳐 유아독자 5명, 성인독자 5명을 각각 읽기집단으로 만들어 그림책 읽기를 실시하였다. 그림책을 읽은 후 반구조화된 면담을 통해 이중독자의 텍스트에 대한 이해 및 의미생산 과정의 자료를 수집하고 전사된 내용을 반복적으로 읽고 공통된 내용을 범주화하며 분석하였다. 그 결과, 이중독자는 그림책을 읽는 과정 속에서, 유아독자는 그림책을 재미있는 놀잇감, 혹은 숨은그림찾기로 인식하는 반면, 성인독자는 그림책을 학습도구로 간주하는 모습을 보이며 서로 다른 지각 방식으로 이질적인 반응양상을 보여주었다. 그러나 이중독자는 회기가 지날수록 점차 그림책의 시각텍스트에 매료되어 미학적 감성을 표출시키며 다성적인 어울림이 있는 진정한 내포독자로서의 면모를 발휘하는 모습을 보여주었다. 이러한 연구결과는 이중독자의 크로스오버 그림책에 대한 이해를 넓히고 유아의 문학적 이해와 그 역량에 대해 이해하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 크로스오버 그림책과 상호작용하는 교사와 부모에게도 유용한 기초자료가 될 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study is to explore how a crossover picture book can be accepted by dual audience. The research aimed to investigate the meaning production process through the reaction pattern of dual audience in the reading process of picture books. For this objective, three “boundary” picture books of Suzy Lee, "Inside the mirror", "Let's play the waves" and "Shadow play" were used as research tools. Five children and five adult readers were organized into two groups, and each group met eight times for reading. After reading the picture books, data was collected from the process of understanding and meaning production of the text of the dual audience. Contents of data were analyzed repeatedly and common contents were categorized. Results showed that children’s readers perceived picture books as funny toys or hidden pictures, while adult readers viewed picture books as a learning tool, showing heterogeneous reaction patterns in different perceptions. However, as the session progressed, the dual audience gradually became fascinated by the visual text of the picture book, expressing aesthetic sensibilities and showing the true characteristics of the multi-matched real implied reader. These study could help broaden the understanding of the crossover picture book of a dual audience and help children understand the literature and its resourcefulness. The study could also be considered as a useful baseline for teachers and parents interacting with crossover picture books.

경막외에 침범한 과립구성 육종 1예

본 저자들은 백혈병으로 진단 받지 않은 환자에서 경막외에 침범하여 척수를 누르고 있고 수술후 방사선 치료로 증상이 좋아진 과립구상 육종을 경험하였기에 이에 보고하는 바이다. Granulocytic sarcoma is an uncommon tumor composed of immature cells of the granulocytic series, occuring in patients with AML and blast crisis of CML. It may rarely precede an acute myelogenous leukemia with an uniformly fetal course. We experienced a case of granulocytic sarcoma of extradural space presenting as spinal cord compression in a 31 years old female with no evidence of leukemia on the bone marrow and periphera1 blood. The tumor was located to the T₁-T₃ having narrowing pole after decompression laminectomy, patient received local irradiation to the residual tumor bed, and being followed at the OPD without evidence of leukemia.
