      • 입제의 수면처리에 의한 주요수도해충의 동시방제

        본 시험은 유기인계 살충제인 Terracur P입제 및 Lebaycid 입제와 유기염소계 살충제인 상감마입제$(\gamma-BHC 입제)$를 수면시용 하였을때 수도요해충인 이화명충, 끝 동매미충, 애멸구 및 흰둥멸구에 대한 동시방제가능성과 방제적기를 구명하고 약제간의 방제효과를 비교코저 실시하였다. 얻어진 시험결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 약제처리후 부화직후 이화명충 접종 시험에 있어서 상감마와 Terracur P는 높은 살충율을 보였으나 Lebaycid의 살충율은 낮았다. 約 $50\%$ 살충력 잔효일수에 있어서 상감마는 8-14日이었고 Terracur P는 6일간이었다. 2) 당초 계획된 방제적기에 관한 정보는 얻을 수 없었다. 즉 주어진 일간격이 좁아 유의한 차를 얻을 수 없었다. 3) 1,2화기 이화명충에 대한 방제효과는 Terracur P=상감마>Lebaycid의 순이었다. 4) Terracur P와 Lebaycid 입제의 처리는 끝동매미충의 방제효과가 좋았으나 상감마$(\gamma-BHC 입제)$의 방제효과는 기대할 수 없었다. 끝동매미충에 대한 Terracur P와 Lebaycid입제의 잔효력은 30일 이상이었다. 5) 애멸구와 흰등별구에 대한 시험은 충의 서식밀도가 낮기 때문에 약제간 방제효과를 얻을 수 없었다. 6) 공시약제중 Terracur P와 Lebaycidd입제는 이화명충과 끌동매미충의 동시방제제로서 사용할 수 있을 것 같다. This experiment was conducted to find out the simultaneous control effect of granulated insecticides on the several major rice insect pests in Korea. The granulated insecticides used were Terracur P$5\%$ (one of the phosphoric insecticides), Lebaycid $5\%$, and Sang-gamma (gamma-BHC) $6\%$. Those insecticides were broadcasted by hand on the paddy field at the ratio of 3kg. in June and 4kg. in August per 10 a, and the date of insecticidal application was based on the maximum moth occurrence of the rice stem borer in 1969. The rice insect pests tested in this study were rice stem borer (Chilo suppressalis W.), green rice leafhopper (Nephotettix bipunctatus cincticeps U.), smiller brown planthopper (Laodelphax striatellus F.), and white back planthopper (Sogotella furcifera H.). For the study of residual effectiveness of the insecticides, the rice stem borer larvae just hatched from the eggs were installed on the sheath of rice plants collected from the paddy field after insecticidal treatment, and the mortality was made at 48 hours after installation. High mortality was observed in Terracur P and Sang-gamma treatments and low mortality in Lebaycid treatment. The duration of residual effects giving about 50% mortality was about 14 days in Sang-gamma and about 6 days in Terracur P treatments. The study on the effectiveness of the insecticides to the rice stem borer in the paddy field was made by the number of dead blades and white heads of the rice plants injured by the larvae, and the number of survival larvae in the straws after crop harvest. The order of insecticidal effectiveness to the rice stem borer was Terracur P=Sang-gamm>Lebaycid. The study on the effectiveness of the insecticides to the leafhoppers and planthoppers in the paddy field was made by the population density by sweeping (5 times) at the given day intervals after treatments. Terracur P was highly effective for the control of the green rice leafhoppers and Lebaycid was moderately effective, but Sang-gamma seemed not to be effective. The effectiveness of the insecticides tested to the planthoppers was not clear, and it seemed to related with the low insect population density. Study on the determination of proper timing of insecticidal application was not also made clear, and it seemed to be short in the range of day intervals in the insecticidal application. For the study on the control effects of the rice insect pests, rice yield per 100 hills per plot was observed. There was no statistically significant difference among the treatments in rice yields, but the order of yield (Terracur P>Sang-gamma>Lebaycid>Control) was paralleled with the tends of control effects above mentioned. In a view point of simultaneous control of the rice stem borers and green rice leafhoppers by the application of granulated insecticides, Terracur P and Lebaycid were more effective than Sang-gamma which have been used.

        조혈모세포이식 환자에서 침습성 진균 감염에 대한 Micafungin의 예방 효과 및 안전성

        Background: Micafungin, a potent inhibitor of 1,3-β-D-glucan synthase, is a novel antifungal agent of the echinocandin class. In vitro study showed that micafungin was effective against Aspergillus species as well as Candida species, but clinical data on the prophylactic efficacy against invasive fungal infections (IFIs) other than candidiasis are still lacking. Materials and Methods: We identified 60 consecutive adult hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) recipients who received at least 3 doses of micafungin during neutropenic period. Micafungin was started as an alternative in patients who were intolerant or had adverse events (AEs) to primary prophylactic antifungal agents. We retrospectively reviewed the medical records and analyzed the efficacy and safety of micafungin for prophylaxis against IFIs. Results: The patients either had autologous (n=9) or allogeneic (n=51: 1 syngeneic, 24 sibling, 26 unrelated donor) HSCT. Itraconazole oral solution (n=58) was the most frequently used first line antifungal agent for prophylaxis and was administered for median 11 days. The most frequent cause of switch to micafungin was vomiting (n=42). The duration of neutropenia and micafungin administration was median 13 and 12 days, respectively. A successful outcome was achieved in 45 (75%) patients. Empirical antifungal therapy was initiated in 13 (22%) patients. There were 2 cases (3.3%) of breakthrough fungal infections which comprised a probable invasive pulmonary aspergillosis and a possible invasive fungal sinusitis. There was no case of invasive candidiasis. A total of 53 (88%) patients experienced at least one AE regardless of causality during micafungin administration. The most frequent AEs were hypokalemia, vomiting, diarrhea, and elevated serum aspartate aminotransferase or alanine aminotransferase. Among the aforementioned AEs, only 1 case of diarrhea could be classified as a probable relation with micafungin when causality was assessed. There was no AEs that caused discontinuation of micafungin. Conclusions: Micafungin seems to be a safe and effective agent for prophylaxis of IFIs including aspergillosis as well as candidiasis in HSCT recipients. However, further large, prospective, and randomized comparative studies are warranted for aspergillosis.

        The major components of tea are (+)Catechin, (-) Epicatechin(EC), (-)Epicatechin(EC), (+)Gallocatechin, (-)Epigallocatechin(EC), (-)Epicatechin gallate(ECg), (-)Epigallocatechin gallate(EGCg), the content of catechins in tea is about 30% on dry basis. There are many hydroxy groups in tea catechins. The Catechines are used as food antioxidants because of oxidization od them. the catechins, especially ECg and EGCg are main components that are responsible for the biological action of tea. Tea catechins have lots of the pharmacological effects. This are hypertension-depressing action, hypocholesterolemic effect, anti-obesity effect and anticarcinogenic and antimutagenic effect. In the future, the more research of the more effect on peroxidized lipid in tea catechins will be needed.

        The fracture energy of a carbon fibre reinforced composite system has been evaluated as a function of the carbon fibre and content of PGE, a reactive additives. Work of fracture was estimated by three point bending test. Fibre debonded length and fibre pull-out length were measured with a Zeiss projection microscope. Results are as follows ; It was found that post debond friction energy provided a major contribution to the total fracture energy. The post debond friction process was show to be primarily responsible for the work of fracture of the composites. To the extent of 10 phr, PGE have been used to improve the fibre-matrix interfacial shear strength so that all of the fracture energy increased.

        In this study, ten students of department of physical education in K unversity participated in 8-week-swimming training. With the figures of respiration and circulation shown before the training and after the trainging, the conclusion came out as follows after comparison and analysis of the changes in the stability and the maximum figures. 1)The respiration of one time ventilation(TVE, ㎖) Looking info the quantity of one lime ventilation In the rest, it came out 946.47㎖, meanwhile, after the training, it fell down to 878.17㎖, which is lower by 68.39㎖ and the the percentage of decrease is 7.78%. But as for the maximum figures, in came out 3117.70㎖, while after the training, it was 3219.10㎖ and that's higher by 101.4㎖ and the percentage of increase is 3.15%. 2)The oxygen uptake(VO2, ㎖/min) In the rest, the quantity of Q2 taken into the lung was 540.83m7/min before the training, but after the trainging, it showed 405.63㎖/min, which was lower by 135.20㎖/min, and the percentage of decrease is 33.33%. But as for the maximum figures, it was 3701.60㎖/min before the training, while after the training, it was 3885.30㎖/min, which Is higher by 183.7㎖/min and the percentage of· increase is 4.73%. 3)The rate of gas exchange(R)In the rest, the rate of gas exchange showed no big difference between before (1.03) and after (1.03) the training. But in the maximum figures, it was 1.42 before the training, while it was 1.45, which was higher by 0.03 and the rate of increase is 2.07%. 4)The oxygen uptake per weight(VO2/W, ㎖/kg/min)In the rest, the quantity of O2 per weight was 8.05㎖/kg/min before the training. But after the training, it was 5.99㎖/kg/min, which was lower by 2.06㎖/kg/min, and the rate of decrease is 34.39%. But in the maximum figures, it was 53.64㎖/kg/min before the trainging, while it was 58.80㎖/kg/min, which was higher by 5.16 and the rate of increase is 8.78%. 5)Heart rate(HR, beats/min)Looking Into the heart rate in the rest, it was 74.24beats/min before the training, but after the training, it was 70.84beats/min, which was lower by 3.4beats/min and the rate of decrease is 4.79%. But in the maximum figures, before the training, it was 187.25beats/min while it came out 194.69beats/min, which was higher by 7.44beats/min and the rate increase was 3.82%. 6)O2 pluse(VO2/HR, ㎖/beats)In the rest figures came out 6.10 before the training, while after the training, it was 5.72㎖/beats which was lower by 0.38 and the rate of decrease was 6.64%. But in the maximum figures, it was 19.78㎖/beats before the training, but after the training, while after the training, it was 22.54me/beats, which was higher by 2.76 and rate of increase is 12.24%.

        순자 철학의 이상 사회론

        예부터 지금까지 우리는 이상적인 공동체적 삶에 관한 문제에 골몰하고 있다. 어떻게 하면 사회적 혼란을 방지하여 사회의 안녕질서를 이를 수 있는가? 어떻게 하면 사회 공동체적 삶을 통해 인류의 행복을 성취할 수 있는가? 이러한 문제들은 중국 고대 철학자들. 특히 순자 철학의 출발점이면서 동시에 목표이다. 아울러 공적 영역과 시적 영역의 관계를 적절하게 조화시켜야 하는 현재 우리의 문제이기도 하다. 따라서 이 글은 순자 철학을 텍스트로 삼아 다음과 같은 논제들에 관해 토론하고자 한다. 첫째, 순자가 당시의 혼란한 시대 상황에 직면해서 꿈꾸었던 이상 사회는 어떠한 것인가? 둘째, 순자는 인간이 사회적 존재로서 공동체적 생활을 도모한다고 주장한다. 하지만 인간은 동시에 욕구 지향적인 성향을 갖는 욕망의 존재라는 양면성을 갖는데, 사회 공동체를 구성해 조화로운 사회생활을 영위하는 것이 어떻게 가능한가? 셋째, 순자는 정치·사회·도덕 질서의 원리인 예禮에 의해서 조화로운 사회생활을 영위할 수 있다고 한다. 그렇다면 사회 공동체의 원리인 예는 무엇에 근거하는가? 넷째, 예에 의한 사회 정치 질서는 사회 정의를 담보할 수 있는가? 이와 같은 토론은 우리에게 명확한 대안을 제시해 주지는 않지만, 공동체적 삶을 강조하는 모델로서 우리에게 유의미한 시사점을 줄 것이다.

        牛蒡子의 抗알러지 效果에 對한 硏究

        To evaluate the effectiveness of Arctii Fructus(AF) in the treatment of allergy, studies were done experimentally. The results were obtained as follows : 1. Cytotoxicity of AF extract on the mouse lung fibroblast cells was not shown below the level of 100 ㎍/㎖ concentration. 2. In the quantification of IL-1β gene development, the amount was decreased compared to control group, gut which was insignificant. 3. Gene development of IL-4 was suppressed over 70% in the concentration of 100㎍/㎖ and also the of production of IL-4 was decreased significantly in the concentration of 100㎍/㎖ compared to the control group. 4. Gene development of Il-5 was decreased to 60% in the concentration of 100 ㎍/㎖ compared to the control group. 5. Gene development of IL-4 and IL-10 were decreased compared to the control group, but which was not significant. 6. Gene development of TNF-α was suppressed over 60% in the concentration of 10 ㎍/㎖ compared to the control group. 7. The effect of suppression of IgE production was significantly decreased in the concentration of 100㎍/㎖. 8. The effect of suppression of Histamine release was decreased significantly in the concentration of 100 ㎍/㎖. According to the above results, AF has antiallergic effects and suppression of the immune response. Thus it is suggested that aqua extract of AF could be applied to the aqua-acupuncture for suppressing humoral immune response, and further research is recommended.

      • 치과의사의 근골격계 장애에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this work is to study the frequency of pain and discomfort in the musculoskeletal system among dentists, above all concerning head, neck and shoulder pain and to find possible correlations between these symptoms and various working positions and different working actions. A questionnaire was answered by 425 dentists with more than one year working experience (80% male, 20% female). The age varied from 25 to 67 years and mean age was 34.8 years. The dentists had worked on the average for 9.1 years. The obtainded results were as follows. 1. Dentists usually were at 10, 11, 9 o'clock position in treating upper and lower teeth, and 40% of dentists suffered from pain and discomfort in the neck were at 10 o'clock position in treating lower teeth (p<0.05). 2. During the past 12 months, 152 dentists(35.5%) suffered from headache, 208(48.9%) from pain and discomfort in the neck, 208(48.9%) from pain and discormfort in the shoulders and 188(44.2%) from pain in the lower back. 3. During the past one week, 50 dentists (11.8%) suffered from headache, 91(21.4%) from pain and discomfort in the neck, 86(20.2%) from pain and discomfort in the shoulders and 80(18.8%) from pain and discomfort in the lower back. 4. During the past 12 months, female dentists had a higher frequency of the pain and discomfort in the head, neck and shoulders than male dentists. During the past 1 week, female dentists had more lower backache additionally. 5. During the past 12 months the frequency of pain and discomfort in the head (p<0.05) and neck (p<0.01), during the past 1 week the frequency of pain and discomfort in the neck(p<0.01) and shoulders (p<0.05) had a tendency to decrease with age and the number of practice.

        Dissolved Air Flotation(DAF) 접촉조의 수리동력학적 조건이 입자의 제거에 미치는 영향

        Hydrodynamic conditions for optimum solids capture within the contact zone, which are governed by the geometry and flow, are not yet well understood. In this research, dimensionless parameters which represent hydrodynamic conditions in the contact zone were derived, using the Buckingham π theorem. Those parameters are Reynolds No. (Re), Froude No. (Fr), Weber No. (We), Local Weber No., and Bubble Capacity No. (Bc). The particle removal rate was investigated by changing each value of the dimensionless parameters. The experimental results indicate that particle removal rate, when gravity dominates and the flow is semi-turbulent (Fr < 0.3, Re < 8000), is higher than when inertia dominates and flow is turbulent. For the We, higher removal rates were obtained in the range of the We < 40. Relative to the Local We, smaller bubbles which are influenced more by surface tension than inertia, demonstrated a higher particle removal rate than larger bubbles. For the Bc, the optimal range is from 0.3 to 0.5. We suggest that these dimensionless parameters can be used to diagnose the performance of and to design a DAF reactor.
