        군자산 자생 망개나무 임분의 구조적 특성

        Berchemia berchemiaefolia is a rare and endangered species and important as a honey resource. The purposes of this study were to investigate physical environmental factors and the population and community structure of Berchemia berchemiaefolia stands at Mt.Gunja in Sogrisan National Park in Chungcheongbuk-do. The B berchemiaefolia stands belonged to deciduous forests in mid-temperate zone and were 5~25˚ in slope 30~90% in rock ratio and 6.37 in soil pH. They had 656 trees within the area of 36 ha and their average density was 18.2 trees per ha. The trees within the stands were 11.8m in tree height 22.6 cm in DBH and 56 years old. The number of branched stems was the maximum 8 and 32.9% of the trees were branched. B. berchemiaefolia trees over 12cm diameter occupied 89.9% but young B. berchemiaefolia did only 11%. The structure of B. berchemiaefolia stands were classified into three groups as Acer pseudo-sieboldianum & A. mono community group A. pseudo-sieboldianum & Quercus aliena community group and B. berchemiaefolia & Quercus serata community group. The mean importance value of B. berchemiaefolia was 10.9% while species diversity of the community ranged 0.77~1.31 and interspecific competition ranged 0.78~0.94. The dominance of the community ranged of 0.07~0.29 and the evenness ranged 0.71~0.93. Although B. berchemiaefolia was dominant in the habitat but the species was already in natural successional stage to cornus controversa or Ulmus davidiana var. japonica.

        혈관 생성 억제 제를 투여한 신생마우스 폐 조직에서 Retinoic acid의 세포자멸사의 억제

        목적: Retinoic acid는 폐포 재생에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있어서 미숙아의 기관지폐이형성중의 예방에 사용되고 있다. 기관지폐이형성중의 병태생리는 미숙한 폐의 내피세포와 외피세포의 세포자멸사를 일으킴과 관련이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서 VEGFR2 억제가 신생 폐에서 세포자멸사를 증가시키는지, 또 retinoic acid의 투여가 본 폐 발달 억제 동물모형에서 세포자멸사를 억제하는지 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: VEGFR2 억제제인 SU1498을 생후3일된 마우스에 주사하고, 폐포발달이 이루어지는 그 후 10일간 retinoic acid나 위약을 주사하였다. 형태학적인 분석을 하였고, 세표자멸사를 비교분석하기 위해서 TUNEL 염색과 Annexin V을 표지자로 FACS출 시행하였다. 자멸사한 세포를 확인하기 위해서 동일초점 현미경으로 분석하였다. 결과: SU1498를 주사한 마우스에서 폐포면적과 평균폐포용적이 의미 있게 감소하였다. 세포자멸사도 약 3배 의미 있게 증가하였다. 자멸사한 세포는 내피세포와 상피세포에 분포하였다. Retinoic acid를 주사한 약 50%의 세포자멸사가 감소하였고, 형태학적으로 정상에 가까운 폐포 발달이 유지되었다. 결론: VEGFR2 억제를 하면 내피세포와 상피세포의 세포자멸사가 증가되면서 폐 발달이 저해되었다. 이어서 retinoic acid를 주사하면 세포자멸사가 억제되어 폐 발달유지에 도움이 되었다. 이러한 retinoic acid에 의한 세포자멸사의 억제가 기관지폐이형성증 예방에 기여할 것으로 추정된다. Background: Retinoic acid is known to play a role in alveolar regeneration and is used in the prevention of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in premature infants. Many factors involved in the pathogenesis of BPD induce apoptosis of the endothelium and epithelium of the premature lung. We hypothesized that VEGFR2 inhibition would increase apoptosis in the newborn lung and retinoic acid would decrease apoptosis in our model of inhibited lung growth. Material and Methods: SU1498, a VEGFR2 inhibitor or vehicle was given to three-day-old mice. Subsequent retinoic acid or vehicle injection was given for ten days for the duration of alveolarization. Morphometric analyses were performed. Apoptosis was assessed with TUNEL staining and Annexin V staining. Co-localization of apoptotic cells with endothelial and epithelial cells was performed. Results: SUI498 injection reduced alveolar surface area and mean alveolar volume in newborn mice. Apoptosis was increased by three-fold in SU1498 injected mice. Apoptotic cells co-localized to endothelial and epithelial cells. Retinoic acid significantly reduced the degree of apoptosis by 50% in SU1498 injected mice and maintained lung development. Conclusion: VEGFR2 inhibition caused an arrest in lung development accompanied by an increase in apoptosis of endothelial and epithelial cells of the neonatal lung in mice. Subsequent retinoic acid treatment reduced apoptosis and we speculate that retinoic acid may preserve lung growth in bronchopulmonary dysplasia by inhibiting apoptosis in the neonatal lung.

        가연성물질의 인화점에 관한 연구 : 용액론에 의한 3성분계의 인화점 예측을 중심으로

        인화점은 가연성물질의 화재 및 폭발의 잠재위험성를 결정하는 데 가장 중요한 기초적인 특성치 가운데 하나이다. 인화점의 구분은 혼합용제를 구성하는 가연성액체를 안전하게 취급하기 위해서 매우 중요하다. 모든 인화점 거동의 기초는 증기압과 폭발한계이다. 가연성혼합용제의 인화점은 라울의 법칙, 달톤의 법칙, 르샤틀리에 법칙 그리고 활동도계수 모델을 사용함으로서 계산할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 가연성 3성분계의 하부인화점의 문헌값을 라울의 법칙과 MRSM모델을 의해 계산된 값과 비교하였다. 3성분계의 하부인화점의 자료는 라울의 법칙과 MRSM모델에 의해 예측된 값과 거의 일치하였다. 제시한 방법론에 의해 가연성혼합용제의 인화점 실험자료의 신뢰도를 평가하는 것이 가능하다. The flash points are one of the most important fundamental properties used to determine the potential for fire and explosion hazards of flammable substances. A classification of the flash points is important for the safe handling of flammable liquids which constitute the solvent mixtures. Basic to all flash points behavior are vapor pressure and explosive limits(lower explosive limit and upper explosive limit). The flash points of flammable solvent mixtures can be calculated with the appropriate use of the fundamental laws of Raoult, Dalton, Le Chatelier and activity coefficient models. In this study, the reference values of lower flash points were compared with the calculated values by using Raoult's law and MRSM(modified response surface methodology) model. The lower flash points were in agreement with the predicted by Raoult's law and MRSM model. By means of this methodology, it is possible to evaluate reliability of experimental data of the flash points of the flammable mixtures.       • 중추신경계 손상시 GFAP의 발현에 대한 고찰

        이 연구는 중추신경 손상에 대한 문헌적 고찰을 통해 아교 섬유성 산 단백질(glial fibrillary acidic protein : GFAP)에 대한 이해와 경과 시간에 따른 발현시기 등을 알아보고자 한다. GFAP는 별아교세포에만 특이적으로 염색되어 별아교세포의 특이적 표지물질(specific marker)로 사용되어 지고 있다. GFAP의 발현정도가 손상 후 1주일째까지 가장 현저히 증가하는 것으로 보아 손상 초기에 물리치료적 중재를 통해 중추신경계의 기능회복에 있어서 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있다. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to uderstand the glial fibrillary acidic protein through literature review about CNS injury. Method : This is a western bolt analysis, immunocytochemical analysis and double immunofluorescence for glial fibrillary acidic protein were performed after CNS injury. Result : The GFAP expression level in the gray matter increased in the early stage of injury. In contrast the GFAP expressoin level in the gray matter decreased in the late stage of injury. Conclusion : The study of GFAP is the intermediate filament of the glial cells and useful as a marker for the astrocytes. Also, the upregulation of GFAP espression required various physical therapeutic approaches.

      • 비만을 동반한 위암 환자에서 두 병을 같이 수술 치료한 경험(증례)

        Obesity is growing problem in Korea. We had a case of bariatric surgery during gastric cancer operation. Patient was 29 year old Korean lady with early gastric cancer located in the lesser curvature side of the middle 1/3 of the stomach. Her body weight was 89 kg, height 163 cm, and thus body mass index was 33.5 kg/m2. Preoperative blood pressure was 130/90 mmHg, hemoglobin 12.9 g/dL, total lymphocyte count 3,280/mL, serum albumin 4.3 g/dL, CEA 1.1 ng/mL, CA 19-9 9.1 ng/mL, and alpha fetoprotein 2 ng/mL. Another associated disease was right thyroid follicular neoplasm. The chest X-ray was normal. After IM injection of 2,500 units of heparin 30 minutes before the induction of general anesthesia, she received curative subtotal gastrectomy and Roux en Y gastrojejunostomy when a malabsorption loop of 120 cm jejunum was incorporated between the Treitz ligament and the end to side jejuno-jejunostmy site at May 29th 2006. Her postoperative course was uneventful except a minor wound seroma and the elevations of serum amylase(up to 4 folds) and lipase(up to 2 folds). She lost her body weight 9 kg in 5th, 21 kg in 7th, and 27 kg in 10th postoperative months to became 61.5 kg. On follow up exams in July 2008, she gained 4 kg to overcome her weakness and fatigue. From the above result, the incorporation of a malabsorption loop during reconstruction phase of gastric cancer operation was a good option for obese gastric cancer patients especially in cases of early gastric cancer.

      • 쓰가루 單一品種 果園을 위한 꽃사과 受粉樹 利用에 관한 硏究

        Crabapples potentially useful as pollenizers in single-cultivar 'Tsugaru' orchard was evaluated for their flowering times and pollen germination(%). Their efficiency in the setting of fruits following controlled pollinations on 'Tsugaru' at private orchard in Sang ju was also examined. The obtained results are as follows, (1) Flowering times of Malus spp. 'Almey' and Malus spp. `Pioneer X' were from April 30 to May 1 and had the same flowering time of 'Tsugaru'. (2) Pollen germination(%) of crabapples using as pollenizers of 'Tsugaru' was over 90% of Malus spp. 'Almey' and Malus spp. 'Pioneer X' respectively. (3) Percentages of fruit setting in 'Tsugaru' crossed with Malus spp. 'Almey' and with 'Pioneer X' showed 99.3% respectively. (4) There was no statistically significant difference in the fruit skin color, fruit diameter (cm), fruit. height (cm), fruitt index, fruit weight(g), soluble solid(˚BX), acidity(pH), fruit hardness (kg/㎠), and seed numbers of 'Tsugaru' crossed with 'Pioneer X' and 'Almey'. (5) On the bases of flowering times, pollen germination, efficient fruit set, promising of fruit skin solour, and no statistically significant difference in fruit quality, Malus spp. 'Almey' and 'Pioneer X' are promising as pollenizers for single-cultivar 'Tsugaru' orchard.

        전도성 고분자 센서 어레이를 이용한 휘발성 유기 화합물 가스 인식

        휘발성 유기 화합물 가스(Volatile Organic Compounds)를 인식하고 분석하기 위하여 전도성 고분자 센서어레이를 이용한 시스템을 제작하였다. Polypyrrole와 Polyaniline을 화학중합법으로 센서에 전도성고분자막을 형성하였고 이를 통해 VOC 검지용 센서 어레이를 제작하였다. 센서어레이로부터 측정되는 다차원 데이터는 주성분분석법(PCA)과 RBF(Radial Basis Function Network)을 이용하였다. 제안된 시스템으로 VOCs 가스를 인식하는데 있어서 RBF Network이 PCA방식보다 더욱 효율적인 것으로 판단되었다. We fabricated gas recognition system using conducting polymer sensor array for recognizing and analyzing VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds) gases. The polypyrrole and polyaniline thin film sensors which were made by chemical polymerization were employed to detect VOCs. The multi-dimensional sensor signals obtained from the sensor array were analyzed using PCA(principal component analysis) technique and RBF(radial basis function) Network. Throughout the experimental trails, we confirmed that RBF Network is effective than PCA technique in identifying VOCs.

      • 주걱송편버섯(Pycnoporus cinnabarinus) SCH-3의 Laccase 생산에 미치는 유도원의 영향

        This study was performed to examine the effect of inducer on laccase production of Pycnoporus cinnabarinus SCH-3 isolated from Korea. The different inducers including 2,5-xylidine were added in the culture of Pycnoporus cinnabarinus SCH-r respectively. 2,5xylidine was predominant of the inducers tested in laccase production. Addition of 2,5-xylidine enhanced 12-fold laccase production, While nothing of inducers produced isoenzyme of laccase, as determined by non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.

      • 揷木用土 및 Peat plug利用이 만생종 왜철쭉의 揷木에 미치는 영향에 관한 硏究

        This study was carried out to propagate Rhododendron Satsuki hybrid `Bemi-Kirishima' through soft-wood cuttings in the closed mist room in connection to different concentrations of IBA, cutting media, Peat plug. The results were as follows: For the time of cutting, there were noticeable differences in the cutting on June 21 and July 8. Out of cutting media tested, the media prepared by mixing 50% vermiculite and 50 perlite(v/v ) on the treatment of IBA 1000ppm gave 100% rooting and the longest root length. Rooting of plants in the Peat plug was 93.5% and they uniform root length. In addition, Peat plug provided more space for cutting than cutting basket. It was possible that we got good cuttings and therby mass propagation through Peat plug.
