        상장간동맥 색전증 2예

        The superior mesenteric artery embolism is a rare disease, and diagnosis and treatment were delayed. The mortality was very high. In recent years, the mortality has decreased gradually because of the development of vascular surgery including angiography, fogarty catheter etc. There were a few cases reports in korean literature. We experienced two cases of superior mesenteric artery embolism in recent years: one case was successfully treated with the embolectomy and distal thrombectomy of the necrotized jejunum and segmental resection of the necrotized jejunum, and at next day, the necrotized jejunum was resected in second look operation, another was also treated with the embolectomy of abdominal aorta and superior mesenteric artery and the resection of the necrotized intestine, but died. These cases had no abnormality in EKG, echocardiography and upper aorta on angiography, and no evidence of cardiac disease clinically. There were thrombocytosis as well as leukocytosis. The sigmificance of thrombocytosis in arterial embolization is not certain now. Subsequent bone marrow aspiration in the living case did'nt show abnormality.

        위절제술후 십이지장-위 역류성 위염

        We studied prospectively on the grade of severity of reflux gastritis after Billroth- I (15 patients and B-II (66 patients) using gastrofiberscopy mostly 3~4 montsh after operations from December 1988 to February.The grade of severity af gastritis was arbitarily defined as follows; Grade 0-almost no reflux of bile and no redness on gastric mucosa. Grade 1-mild redness of the mucosa limited within an inch from anastomotic line. Giade 2-Edema and mucosal redness involves almost one half of remaining gastric mucosa. Grade 3-the above cbanges involves most of remnant gastric mucosa. Gtade 4-in addition to grade 3, friability of mucosa and/or, erosions is noted. Grade 5- ulceraitions of mucosa in addition to the above changes. Using the above defined criteria, we obtained the following results; 1) there was no rieflux gastritis in one patient in B- I group and remainders have varing grades of reflux gastritis, ie; 93% (14/15) (see Table 2). 2) In B- II reconstructed patients, grade 0 was 2 patients and remainder had reflux gastrits, ie; 96% (64/66) (see table 4). 3) Grade 5 patients have ulcerations in the esophagus and grade 2 changes in the stomach.

        다중 해상도 병합을 이용한 수정된 적응 공명 이론 신경망 : 혼합 문자 인식 적용

        최근 정보기술의 발달과 함께 문자 인식의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 특히, 유비쿼터스 시대가 도래하면서 개인휴대용 정보 단말기, 태블릿 PC 등 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 장비가 급속도로 대중화 되고 있다. 이에 사람마다 다양한 필체로 인한 문제가 발생하고 있으며, 인식률을 높일 수 있는 문자 인식에 대한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 다중 해상도 병합을 이용한 수정된 적응 공명 이론 신경망을 제안한다. 이는 자율 학습 신경망과 다중 해상도의 관점에서 접근하여 문자 인식 문제에 적용시켜 본 것이다. 노이즈와 문자 특성 정보를 구별하고 인식률을 높이기 위해 고해상도와 저해상도 정보를 같이 이용하는 다중 해상도 병합 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 다중 해상도 병합 방법의 효과를 극대화할 수 있는 적응 공명 이론 신경망의 유사도 측정 방법을 제안하여 기존의 방법보다 우수한 실험 결과를 제시하였다. As Information Technology growing, the character recognition application plays an important role in the ubiquitous environment. In this paper, we propose the Modified ART1 network using Multiresolution Mergence to the problems of the character recognition. The approach is based on the unsupervised neural network and multiresolution. In order to decrease noises and to increase the classification rate of the characters, we propose the mutiresolution mergence strategy using both high resolution and low resolution information. Also, to maximize the effect of mutiresolution mergence, we use a modified ART1 method with a different similarity measure. Our experimental results show that the classification rate of character is quite increased as well as the performance of the propose algorithm in conjunction with the similarity measure is improved comparing to the conventional ART1 algorithm in this application.

      • Design strategy for higher energy of exciplex in blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes

        New electron type host, 2,8-bis(4,6-bis(3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)dibenzo[b,d]furan (DBFtTrz) was synthesized to make intermolecular interaction weaker by substituting tert-butyl group in triazine moiety. In photoluminescence (PL) measurement, the t-butyl substituted electron type host showed blue-shifted emission in exciplex formation both singlet and triplet energy compared with n-type host which has no t-butyl substitution. In device, the new synthesized n-type host pair showed higher external quantum efficiency (17.3%).

      • 랏트에 대한 Polychlorinated Biphenyl의 독성에 미치는 $\alpha$-Tocopherol과 Perilla oil의 효과

        Effects of ${\alpha}$-tocopherol and perilla oil on the toxicity of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) in male rat were studied. Rats were fed ad libitum for 6 weeks with the animal diet which contains PCB 30 ppm and 100 ppm. Perilla oil (0.5 g/kg body weight) and ${\alpha}$-tocopherol (30 mg/kg body weight) were administered intraperitoneally twice a week for 6 weeks. Rats fed with PCB showed enlargement of liver and spleen, increase in aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, sereum lipid and cytochrome P 450 and decrease in body weight and glutathione. When perilla oil was administered to rats fed with PCB increase in aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, serum lipid and cytochrome P45O and decrease in body weight and glutathione were significantly augmented, compared to rats fed with PCB alone. This means that perilla oil potentiates the toxicity of PCB. On the other hand when ${\alpha}$-tocopherol was administered to rats fed with PCB increase in aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, serum lipid and cytochrome P45O and decrease in body weight and glutathione were signigicantly reduced, compared to rats fed with PCB alone. This means that u-tocopherol reduces the toxicity of PCB. From the above results, it may be concluded that PCB is metabolized by microsomal mixed function oxidase and the metabolite causes the toxicity and microsomal glutathione plays a role of protection on the toxicity of PCB.
