The purpose of this investigation was to develop a new carrier using chitin and glucan as the model for Aspergillus oryzae cell wall. In case of the ratio of chitin and glucan(3/1), the activity of the immobilized protease had higher than that of model(chitin/glucan=1/3) and carriers were formed gel. In case of soluble chitin and glucan treated with calcium carbonate, there were a 1.8-fold increase in activity of immobilized protease compared with untreated chitin. The scanning electron microscope image showed that a pore size of this carrier had a homogenized pore size and a smooth surface.

This study is about open and secondary level Home Economics Education which is applicable to field and which includes the characteristics, purpose and problems of each open education. secondary education and home economics education. Based on the ideology of open education, this study will identify the meaning of openness in terms of Home Economics Education reconstructing meaning. purpose, characteristics, curriculum paradigm and curriculum. The instructional model and module which use web, will be Presented as the results of the reconstruction works. The open instructional module in Home Economics Education, which will be operated on the web, is consisted of 1)setting the orientation of curriculum development, 2)instructional model development. 3)rebuilding the Home Economics Education curriculum 4)development of instructional modules and web-based materials and 5)construction of the web-site . Six instructional module begin with critical/emancipatory curriculum Paradigm in open Home Economics Education. use module as a unit of class management instead of 1 class. facilitates nest-type integration which is applied from open education keeping the nature of Home Economics Education. and focus on practical problem and problem solving through reconceptualization with dialectical perspective on individual, family and society. The practical problem solving model has four steps : Identifying practical problems. Understanding the contexts of Problem, Searching for solutions and examining its consequences . Action and evaluation . The web-site has to be developed based on the six instructional module includes those issues : self-identification for reinforcing autonomy and self-esteem. living with famity. living with friends, autonomous living. healthy living, and understanding sexuality.
Fly Ash를 이용한 흡수제의 SO_2/NO_x 동시제거

본 연구에서는 비산재를 첨가한 개량흡수제를 이용하여 황산화물과 질소산화물을 동시에 제거하기 위하여 고정층반응기 실험을 수행하였으며, 제조한 혼합흡수제는 SEM-EDX, ICP, BET, XRD 등을 이용하여 물성분석을 수행하였다. 소성한 석회석에 비산재를 혼합하여 수화시킨 'fly ash 개량흡수제'는 SO_2와 NO_x를 동시에 효율적으로 제거할 수 있었으며, 비산재를 첨가하여 제조한 개량흡수제가 첨가하지 않은 흡수제에 비하여 SO_2와 NO_x 동시제거에 더 효과적이었다. 이러한 실험결과는 석회석과 개량흡수제에 비산재의 첨가로 인하여 규산캄슘 등과 같은 수화물 생성으로 인하여 포졸란반응이 유도되어 'fly ash 개량흡수제'의 비표면적과 흡습성 등이 증가되었기 때문이다. 또한, 비산재를 SO_2 및 NO_x 동시제거용 첨가제로 활용하기 위한 비산재와 개량흡수제의 최적 첨가비율은 1:9인 것으로 나타났다. The simultaneous removal of SO_2 and NO_x by advanced absorbent from coal fly ash was examined in a packed bed reactor. Also, the physicochemical properties of prepared absorbents have been measured using ICP, BET, SEM-EDX and XRD. We have found that both SO_2 and NO_x in dimulated flue gas can be effectively removed by use of fly ash advanced absorbent which was prepared by hydration of calcined limestone with or without coal fly ash. The addition of fly ash into the absorbents can result in the highly efficient simultaneous removal of SO_2 and NO_x from simulated flue gas. This is because the addition of fly ash into limestone and advanced absorbent increases the specific surface area and hygroscopicity of fly ash advanced absorbents by pozzolanic reaction which leads to the formation of calcium silicate compounds. The test results indicated that the optimal mixing ratio of fly ash to advanced absorbent sample is about 1:9 for the effective removal of SO_x/NO_x.

Background: Several studies have evaluated the relationship of low back pain with lumbar flexion angle and muscle activity. However, there are scant studies on the relationship between the ratio of normalized muscle activities and lumbar flexion angle. The lumbar flexion angle has been used to diagnose low back pain and to determine the predominantly used muscles during trunk forward bending in asymptomatic individuals. Prolonged sitting is associated with a slumped or upright sitting posture, which can affect the soft tissues in the lumbar region. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the predominantly used muscles during forward bending, holding, and re-extension based on EMG data. Methods: In total, 20 participants were screened for inclusion. The activities of the longissimus [ES (T12)], erector spinae [ES (L3)], gluteus maximus, and hamstring muscles were examined during forward bending, holding the posture, and re-extension. The mean lumbar flexion angle was used to categorize the patients. Patients with a short hamstring length during forward bending were excluded. Results: The ES (T12) and gluteus maximus : hamstring, and ES (L3) : hamstring activity ratios were compared between the groups during the three phases. The data were normalized to calculate the percent reference voluntary contraction (%RVC). The gluteus maximus : hamstring and ES (L3) : hamstring ratios during re-extension were significantly different between the groups. Conclusions: In the experimental group, the participants showed greater activation of the hamstrings than the gluteus maximus and erector spinae during re-extension. Future studies should include a larger sample size and use more precise eligibility criteria.

Many accidents are being occurred due to many missteps, etc. at the railway platform. Recently in Korea, efforts to prevent casualties fundamentally are being made by installing and operating the PSD(Platform Screen Door) with underground station building as its center to prevent these casualties of passengers. Although this PSD can solve the problem of public casualties at platform fundamentally, it is impossible to install it at whole station buildings since its installation cost is high, and in case of the ground station building of general railway whose operation speed is higher, installation of PSD is impossible due to the characteristics of railway system. This paper proposes the novel safety equipment using Laser radar sensors for the prevention against casualties of passengers at station buildings where the PSDs are not installed like this. The safety equipment using Laser radar sensors is the safety equipment making an approaching train stopped if the falling object is a person by detecting the obstacle at platform through, and it has the merit possible to apply it to station buildings not only in the underground section but also in the ground section since it may detect accurately under ambient environmental elements such as the snow, rain and yellow dust, etc. also. We developed the prototype of the safety equipment to reduce public casualties at platform by using Laser radar sensors and carried out its performance test, and the result is presented in this paper.

Protein content of waxy corn hybrids ranged from 9.3 to 17.1%, and amylopectin content ranged from 83.9 to 94.5%. Three waxy corn hybrids including CNU043 showed less than 10 percent in protein content, and seven waxy corn hybrids including CNU052 were higher than 94% at the amylopectin content. At the amylogram test the ranges of the pasting temperature, peak viscosity, hot viscosity, cool viscosity, breakdown, setback, and consistency were 71.6~77.5℃, 58~210 RVU, 36.1~114.2 RVU, 47~145 RVU, 21.4~97.8 RVU, -66.4~-9.6 RVU, and 11.1~36.3 RVU, respectively.
