        이스라엘 초기 공동체 형성기의 역사적 배경

        The Historical Background in the Formative Period of the Earliest Community of Israel Park, Hae-Ryeong To explore the formation of the earliest community of Israel is one of the most contentious chapters in the historical studies of Israel. Although there are disagreements, some who would the Late Bronze-Iron Age transition is generally recognized as the earliest possible period to which Israel`s formative period may be traceable. At the close of the 13th century B.C. the rapid momentous changes occurred in the political and social fabric of Late Bronze Age society. Archaeologically, this is vividly illustrated by demographic redistribution and an increase in the settled population, especially in the central hill country and Transjordanian highlands. According to the archaeological evidences, the finds indicate that the new people who constitutes the earliest community of Israel inhabited the highlands of central Canaan beginning in about 1200 B.C., the period of the Israelite Judges. The people settled in that region that eventually became Israel did not begin to form any kind of identity as a distinctive social entity called Israel until Iron Age I. Archaeological excavations of this period of time which started with the collapse of the older order - the Late Bronze, Canaanite city-states under Egyptian domination, indicate that the collapse was a gradual decline that started in the 13th century and lasted until the late 12th century B.C. The traditions of the Old Testament describe the land of Canaan as a fragmented multi-national land: inhabited by Canaanites, Horites, Hivites, Jebusites, Perizites, Hittites, Girgashites, and subsequently Philistines. From the ANE documents we know the peoples, such as Amorites, Hurrians, Habiru, Arameans. Some of these peoples, especially the sea peoples and the nomadic peoples immigrated to Canaan, others may have been part of the indigenous population. These inhabitants most likely comprised different elements of Late Bronze Age society, namely, the indigenous and nonindigenous populations. In conclusion, with the decline of Egyptian influence and power over Canaan during the 12th century B.C., some of its inhabitants constitute the earliest community of Israel.

        Voice Mismatch Meets Neurolinguistics

This paper aims to investigate Korean advanced L2 English learners’ strategies for ellipsis resolution during sentence processing. Ellipsis resolution is known to involve several stages of information processing from the initial step of detecting an ellipsis-licensing element by the parser to the final stage of integrating the ellipsis site with the information retrieved from the antecedent of the ellipsis site. In examining these steps, we have manipulated three factors: (i) TP vs. VP-ellipsis; (ii) two types of discourse coherence relations (resemblance(-contrast) vs. cause-effect relations); (iii) voice match vs. mismatch. We found through the ERP recordings that voice mismatch in TP ellipsis elicited N400, followed by P600, irrespective of discourse coherence relations. In contrast, voice mismatch in VP-ellipsis registered N400 only in resemblance(-contrast) relation, but not in cause-effect relation. These findings lead us to conclude that Korean advanced L2 learners of English seem to undergo the full sequence of processing stages required for ellipsis resolution.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate tendencies on land use in the housing site development district by grasping the characteristics of changes of building use at the borders of single-detached housing area for planning single-detached housing area in the future. It is divided the borders of detached housing areas into three types, educational facility, parks and green spaces, and apartment complex, and then analyzed the characteristics of each location after a field study. It is summarized as follows. First, there were stationery and flour-based meal stores in adjacent borders near educational facilities, suitable for students' interest and motion patterns, and it is required to consider about frequent children's action in the street. Second, there are many facilities for park users and residents, such as educational institutes and restaurants in adjacent to borders near parks. In borders neighboring buffer green belt areas, warehouses and vacant sites were mainly distributed. And the revitalization of streets was lower than others, because a road was used as a parking space. Third, there were realty dealers, food stores, and laundries which provide the dwellers with service in adjacent borders near multi-family housing.

        과학영재교육 교사 교수방법 전문지식의 수준 분석

        본 연구에서는 우리나라 과학영재교육을 담당하는 교사들의 과학영재교육 교수방법 전문지식의 수준을 조사하는 데 목적을 두었다. 2005년 기준 전국 16개 시·도 교육청 산하 영재학급 및 영재교육원에서 과학영재교육을 담당하는 교사 수는 총1,883명으로 조사되었다. 이 가운데 531명(28.2%)의 과학영재교육 교사는 ‘과학영재교육 교사 교수방법 전문지식 측정도구(서혜애·박경희, 2005)’에 응답하였으며, 응답한 교사의 교수방법 전문지식 수준은 최종학력, 연수이수여부, 학교급에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. ‘과학지식 및 과학교육학 지식’과 ‘영재교육학 지식’은 영재교육 연수 이수 유무와 관련 없이 교사의 성별 및 최종학력에 따라 차이를 보였으며, ‘과학영재교육과정 지식’은 교사가 어떤 영재교육 연수를 이수했는지, 어떤 학교급을 지도하고 있는 지에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. ‘교사 전문성 계발 지식’은 학교급, 성별에 따라 차이를 보였다. 연구결과에 근거하여 다음과 같이 과학영재교육의 질을 제고하는 방향을 제안하였다. 첫째, 효과적 과학영재교육교사 연수를 개발하기 위해서는, 연수기관은 연수 대상 교사의 학교급에 따라 연수프로그램의 교육내용을 달리하여 구성해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 과학영재교육 교사 임용정책에서는 최종학력 조건을 강화하고 교사 전문성 계발의 동기 수준을 고려하는 것이 바람직할 것이다. The research aims to investigate the status of teacher's professional knowledge level of teaching the gifted in science. As of 2005, there were 1,883 teachers who teach at gifted educational institutions affiliated with sixteen provincial offices of educations in Korea. Research subjects include 531 out of 1,883 teachers (28.2%) and they responded to the 'Science Teacher Scale of Professional Knowledge for Teaching the Gifted' (Seo & Park, 2005). It was found that there were significant differences in the levels of science teachers' professional knowledge for teaching the gifted in terms of highest degrees earned, school level, completion of inservice training programs of gifted education, etc. It was also found that ‘subject matter content knowledge in science and pedagogical content knowledge in science’ and ‘general pedagogical knowledge in gifted education’ varied along teachers' gender and highest degrees earned. ‘Science curriculum knowledge in gifted education’ were varied along completion of inservice teacher training programs and school levels. In conclusion, in order to raise the quality of gifted education, first, host institutions of inservice teacher training programs of gifted education are recommended to provide program contents in consideration with different schools levels of participating teachers. Second, policy makers may strengthen requirements of highest degrees earned for employing teachers in gifted education.

      • Hydantoin계 유도체의 COX-2 저해활성

        For the selective candidates of COX-2 inhibitors, we designed new NSAIDs which is the hydantoin ring based structure substituted with two planar aromatic ring. Seven O-alkyl a-anilinophenylacetate were synthesized through the base-catalysis hydrolysis of 1,5-diarylhydantoins and O-alkylation of sodium a- anilinophenylacetate with alkyl halides. To evaluate inhibitory effect of COX-2. synthetic hydantoin ring based derivatives were screened with accumulation of prostaglandin by lipopolysaccharide in aspirin-treated murine macropharge cell. Most of these compounds inhibited less than 60% of the prostaglandin E_(2) production at a concentration of 10μg/mL.

        교통 저해요소별 회전교차로 사고모형

        This study deals with the roundabout traffic accidents by traffic impeding factor. The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the characteristics of accidents and to develop the accident models. In pursuing the above, this study used a statistical program SPSS 20.0 to analyze 2,342 accidents occurred within 79 roundabouts in Korea. The main results are as follows. First, 4 accident models which were all statistically significant were developed. Second, the traffic volume and width of right-turn-only lane were analyzed to be common variable in the bus stop related models. The variables such as right-turn-only lane, street light, turning radius of entry lane were selected as specific variables. Especially street light and turning radius of entry lane were evaluated to have negative effects to the accidents. It is, therefore, essential to install the street light and place a sufficient turning radius in order to reduce the roundabout accidents. Finally, the traffic volume and number of entry lane were analyzed to be common variable in the on-street parking related models. Also, the width of right-turn-only lane and bus stop were evaluate to be specific variables in the model with on-street parking. This can be expected to give some implications to making the accident reduction guidelines.

        운동성 산화 스트레스와 항산화비타민의 보충이 말초단핵세포의 NF-kB 활성에 미치는 영향

        Reactive oxygen species(ROS) are implicated in the pathogenesis of a wide variety of human diseases. Numerous studies indicate that ROS may serve as common intracellular molecules that contribute to the process of nuclear factor(NF)κB activation in response to a diverse stimuli. In our laboratory, we have demonstrated tat antioxidants could reverse the decline of immune function caused by exercise-induced ROS. Furthermore, it in necessary to understand a mechanism underlying ROS-dependent disorder in biological system. Recent studies have been shown that several gene expression were regulated by oxidants, antioxidants and other determinants of the intracellular reduction-oxidation(redox) state. In this process, NF-κB have been shown to play a important role. The purpose of the present investigation was to evaluate the effect of exercise-induced oxidative stress and antioxidnt supplementation on NF-κB activation in peripheral mononuclear cells. Forty male SD rats(4 weeks old) were randomly divided into noraml diet group and antioxidants(ATO) supplement group, and then ATO groups were treated with antioxidants(VE: 2001U/kg, VC: 50mg/rat, β-carotene: 300mg/kg, vitamin B6: 250㎍/100g, selenomethionine: 0.1mg/kg) for 16 weeks. After 16 weeks breeding at each condition, each group divided into two groups: Control group(CR) fed generally, Exercise group(CE) fed generally and followed by acute exercise 16 weeks later. Antioxidant Antioxidants and Exercise group(AE) fed with antioxidants and followed by acute exercise. The activation of NF-κB binding activity was increased after exhaustive exercise bout in both group. In addition, pretreatment of ATO group with the antioxidants mixture lead to the inhibition of NF-κB binding activity. This results suggest that NF-κB activation should be further studies in response to a variety of exercise.

        We estimated fingernail nitrogen content from children in a city, a farm village, a mountain village and a fishing village. Therefore, the result is as follow. In summer, nail nitrogen content was estimated 130.79±15.39mg/g in a city, 123.86±24.93mg/g in a farm village, 96.16±17.04mg/g in fishing village, 91.96±6.76mg/g in a mountain village. In winter was estimated 137.43ㄷ69.06mg/g in a city, 131.70±8.49mg/g in a farm village, 124.75±16.34mg/g in a fishing village, 115.81±6.36mg/g in a mountain village. According to this analysis, the nail nitrogen content lowered by turns a city, a farm village, a fishing village, a mountain village. The nitrogen contents of nails obtained in winter were found to be higher than those obtained in summer.
