        인공지능 기반 가상 인플루언서(인간형 vs. 애니메이션형)가 서비스 앰배서더로서 디지털 관광 콘텐츠의 신뢰도에 미치는 영향

        This study examines the impact of virtual influencers, acting as service ambassadors, on the trustworthiness of digital tourism content based on construal-level theory. Specific objectives are as follows: (1) to investigate perceived competency differences in digital tourism content among Generation Z tourists as influenced by virtual influencers (hyper-realistic vs. animated), (2) to validate the interaction effects of virtual influencers(hyper-realistic vs. animated) and construal level(high vs. low) on the perceived competency of generation Z tourists and consequently on the trustworthiness of digital tourism content. (3) to examine the mediating effect of perceived competency on the relationship between virtual influencers and the trustworthiness of digital tourism content. This study employed a 2 (virtual influencer: hyper-realistic vs. animated) × 2 (construal level: high vs. low) between-group experimental design. Data were collected in January 2023 from 350 Generation Z European tourists via an online platform. The findings reveal that hyper-realistic virtual influencers elicited higher perceived competency in digital tourism content among Generation Z tourists than their animated virtual influencers. Notably, hyper-realistic virtual influencers exerted a greater influence when paired with low-level construal than high-level construal. Conversely, animated virtual influencers demonstrated a stronger impact when combined with high-level construal than low-level construal. Finally, perceived competency acted as a mediator in the relationship between virtual influencers and the trustworthiness of digital tourism content. This research enriches our understanding of how the format of virtual influencers influences Generation Z tourists’ perceived competency and trust in digital tourism content.

        데친 후 단기간 냉동 저장한 아홉 가지 봄나물 에탄올 추출물의 항산화 활성과 항유전독성 효과

        The present study was conducted to assess the effect of freezing treatment of spring greens, herbs cultivated in spring (so called ‘bomnamul in Korean), on antioxidant activities and antigenotoxic activities. The antioxidant activities of ethanol extracts of nine spring greens (bud of aralia elater: BA, butterbur: BB, fragrant edible wild aster: FA, japanese hogfennel: JH, mugwort: MW, sedum: SE, shepherd spurse: SS, veronicastrum sibiricum: VS, wild garlic: WG) were investigated by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity and oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) assay. The total phenolic contents of seven spring greens extracts except JH and WG increased significantly by freezing treatment (24.7∼342.5%). Freezing significantly increased the DPPH radical-scavenging activity of BB, SE, SS and ORAC value of BA, FA, MW, VS and WG at 50 μg/ml. The CAC of SS and WG against AAPH- induced oxidative stress in HepG2 cells were significantly increased after freezing. The antigenotoxic effect of ethanol extracts of nine spring greens on DNA damage was evaluated by comet assay. The antigenotoxic effect of JH was significantly increased after freezing. It is widely believed that natural antioxidants found in common vegetables and herbs lost its activities during frozen storage. However, our study demonstrated that frozen spring greens ethanol extracts may retain or increase their antioxidant activity.

        Effect on Glycemic, Blood Pressure, and Lipid Control according to Education Types

        Background: Diabetes self-management education and reinforcement are important for effective management of the disease. We investigated the effectiveness of interactive small-group education on glycemic, blood pressure, and lipid levels. Methods: For this study, 207 type 2 diabetes patients with suboptimal glycemic control (HbA1c levels >6.5%) were enrolled. The conventional education group received an existing education program from April to November in 2006, and the interactive education group received a new small-group education program from December 2006 to July 2007. The two groups were comparatively analyzed for changes in blood sugar, glycated hemoglobin, lipid, and blood pressure at baseline, 3, 6, and 12 months and the proportion of patients achieving target goals at 12 months. Results: After 12 months of follow-up, HbA1c levels in the interactive education group were significantly lower than in the conventional education group (6.7% vs. 6.4%, P<0.001). Fasting and 2 hour postprandial glucose concentrations, total cholesterol, and low density lipoprotein cholesterol were significantly lower in the interactive education group than in the conventional education group. The proportion of patients that achieved target goals was significantly higher in the interactive education group. Conclusion: The small-group educational method improved and re-established the existing group educational method. This finding suggests that the importance of education appears to be related to the method by which it is received rather than the education itself. Thus, the use of small-group educational methods to supplement existing educational methods established for diverse age levels should be considered in the future.

        인간 동물학 관점으로 본 반려동물 동반 관광 및 호텔 경험 탐구: 한국-영국 비교 분석

        This study aims to comprehensively explore and compare pet-inclusive tourism and hotel experiences in South Korea and the United Kingdom from an anthrozoological perspective. The detailed objectives are as follows. First, it examines and contrasts the perception of pets as family members in both societies. Second, the study conducts comparative analyses of preparations for and experiences during pet-accompanied travel and hotel stays, investigating how these differences manifest. Third, it explores the influence of each culture's socio-cultural and institutional frameworks on pet-inclusive tourism and accommodations. The study employs a micro-ethnographic-based qualitative methodology, combining observational techniques with individual in-depth interviews. Pet-friendly hotels, restaurants, and museums in Gangneung, South Korea, and Cornwall, UK, were chosen for observation. After this, individual in-depth interviews were individually conducted with 22 adults who have pets and have experienced domestic travel involving overnight stays. The data, which was analyzed using thematic analysis, revealed four themes: ‘pets’ roles as family members’, ‘travel focus: pets vs. owners’, ‘determinants of travel satisfaction: pets vs. owners’, and ‘diverse attitudes towards pet-related policies.’ A key finding is that in South Korea, ensuring the comfort and pleasure of pets constitutes the primary objective of travel, which frequently leads to the selection of pet-friendly destinations and accommodations. Conversely, in the UK, travel plans predominantly revolve around the preferences and interests of the pet owners. These variations are shaped by each country's cultural backdrop, values, and policies and regulations concerning pets. The results of this study provide substantial foundational data for enhancing pet-accompanied travel services from a global perspective, illustrating its potential to augment satisfaction in pet-inclusive travel and foster growth in related industries.

        호텔 및 관광산업 경영자의 AI 비서에 대한 인식탐구: 혁신 확산 이론 중심적 접근

        This study This study how hotel and tourism industry perceive the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) secretaries from the innovation diffusion theory. In-depth individual interviews were conducted with leaders in the service industries, such as hotels, travel agencies, and restaurants. Data collection in the UK from February to March 2023. The analysis revealed a five-stage process. First, in the knowledge stage, the executives were aware of the existence and functions of AI secretaries, but their understanding of details was limited. Second, in the attitude formation stage, they offered a variety of perspectives on the potential benefits and constraints of the technology. Third, while expressing concerns about initial investment costs and technical issues. Fourth, during the implementation stage, they faced various challenges related to AI assistant technology, emphasizing the need for ongoing education and support to overcome these issues. Finally, in the confirmation stage, the executives evaluated the effectiveness of AI secretaries and areas for improvement, making efforts to enhance its utility. This research provides insights into the perception and decision-making process of executives regarding AI secretaries, offering guidelines to aid in improving an AI introduction strategy. , the methodology of this study ensured reliability and accuracy by delicately reflecting the diverse and complex attitudes and responses of the executives.

        2020 한국인 영양소 섭취기준 활용 자료를 이용한 영양교육 프로그램의 적용 및 효과: 경상남도 및 경기도 지역 대학생을 대상으로

        본 연구는 2020 KDRIs를 활용한 영양 교육 프로그램 및 교육매체가 대학생의 영양 지식과 식습관에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 다양한 교육매체 (테이블 매트, 레시피북 등)를 바탕으로 설계된 교육 프로그램은 경상남도 및 경기도 지역의 대학에서 시행되었다. 본 연구에 참여한 대상자는 총 128명이이었으며, 교육군 (n = 75)과 대조군 (n = 53)은 무작위 배정하였다. 교육군은 교육 프로그램 참여 전에 영양 지수 (NQ) 및 영양지식 평가 설문지 조사를 실시하였으며, 6주간의 교육 기간 동안 교육 프로그램 참여 후 동일한 설문지를 이용하여 영양 지수 (NQ) 및 지식 평가를 진행하였다. 대조군은 6주간의 교육 프로그램 참여없이 사전 및 사후에 영양지수 (NQ) 및 영양지식 평가 설문지 조사만 참여하였다. 교육군은 6주간의 2020 KDRIs를 활용한 영양 교육 프로그램의 영향으로 NQ 실천 항목, 영양 지식, 1일 섭취량 및 식사량 지식 (p < 0.05)에 대한 응답에서 긍정적인 결과를 나타냈다. 또한 프로그램 참여 후 최종평가 결과에서 자기평가 점수가 유의하게 높게 나타났으며, 자기만족도는 증가한 것으로 나타났고 (p < 0.05), 2020 KDRIs를 활용한 영양 교육 프로그램에 대한 전체적인 만족도는 99.2%를 달성했다 (p < 0.000). 그러나 대조군의 경우에는 큰 변화를 확인할 수 없었다. 따라서, 본 연구는 2020 KDRIs를 활용한 영양 교육 프로그램 및 교육 매체가 대학생의 영양지식과 식습관에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 입증했다. 그러나 이러한 결과를 유지하고 꾸준히 실천하기 위해서는 다양한 영양 교육 프로그램의 지속적인 개발과 실행이 필요할 것이다. Purpose: The 2020 Dietary Reference Intakes for Koreans (KDRIs) serves as a foundation for daily nutrient and energy recommendations aiming to enhance public health and prevent chronic diseases. They act as guidelines for maintaining proper nutrition and overall health. Using KDRIs is crucial for promoting healthier lifestyles and making informed dietary choices. Thus, this study explores the influence of a nutrition education program, based on the 2020 KDRIs, on the nutrition knowledge and dietary habits of undergraduates in Gyeongsangnam-do and Gyeonggi-do. Methods: The nutrition education program, designed with diverse instructional materials, was executed across a wide range of universities. The education group (n = 75) engaged in the program for a 6-week instructional period, while the control group (n = 53) underwent the survey without participating in the education program. Nutrition Quotient (NQ) and knowledge assessments were administered to both groups immediately before and after the instructional period. Results: Within the education group, the nutrition education program positively impacted responses to NQ practice items, including knowledge of nutrition, daily intake, and portion sizes (p < 0.05). In contrast, there were no significant differences between the before and after responses of the control group for most survey items. Post-program evaluations showed significantly higher self-assessment scores and increased satisfaction levels (p < 0.05), with the satisfaction rate for the education program using the 2020 KDRIs reaching 99.2%. Conclusion: This study has demonstrated the positive impact of an effective nutrition education program. However, there is a need for the continuous development and implementation of nutrition education programs to sustain these outcomes and further enhance the nutritional education experience.
