In this paper, some dynamic behaviors of a simple neural networks with the cyclic connection have been investigated. To this end, the properties of state transition diagram of the network have been evaluated. Modulation in the period of limit cycle as a function of self-connection weight or of the gain of sigmoid function has also been presented. In addition, the stability of the network for mean zero normal distribution Gaussian noise has been discussed. Finally, in order to investigate dynamic behaviors of networks on neuro-chips, hardware neural networks with programmable synaptic weights have been fabricated according to the 1.2㎛ CMOS design rule of MOSIS foundary service and the test results have been discussed,

To aim at improving performance of a neural network as an associative memory or as an optimization problem solver, we propose two models using a nonmonotone analog neuron model which differs from traditional ones. Using the proposed model, we construct the energy function which can have two minimums. It is shown that our model can recall embedded patterns successfully. We also discuss the simulation method and the performance of the model by numerical simulations. The memory capacity strongly depends on the shape of input-output function as well as the sharpness. This model should be useful to devise a class of models for associative memory of temporal patterns.

We discuss the performance of the neural networks with quantized interconnections of +1, -1 and 0(Quantized Connection Neural Networks: QCNN, and how to choose the connection weights for the networks from the training set of examples. The basic characteristics of the networks and algorithm to decide the connection weights are presented. The layered QCNN to solve the parity problem with arbitrary number N of inputs is obtained by using the algorithm. The layered QCNN has a single hidden layer and no bias input when N is odd. When N is even, the network requires only one additional input as bias. The networks which perform any logic functions can be designed on the basis of the algorithm, which is slightly different from the way for solving N-parity problems. The network may be expected to have the same ability of generalization as the network trained with learning rules, because it is possible to decide the connection weights even if the given training set is small. It takes rather long time for the learning of the connection weights, however, one can decide them without learning in our case. Hence, we may expect some applications of QCNN for real-time processings.
전하평형형 적분방식을 이용한 CMOS 8-bit A/D 변환기 설계

This paper describes the design of 12-bit CMOS charge balancing A/D converter which has inherently high accuracy, linearity and noise immunity. System was simulated with logic simulator (KLOG) and circuits were simulated by circuit simulator (SPICE). The result of logic and circuit simulation has turned out that the A/D converter designed by 5㎛ design rule operated normally.
VFD에 형성된 박막패턴의 Short/Open 자동 검사 시스템 개발

본 연구에서는 현재 사용되고 있는 VFD 박막패턴의 검사 시스템에 장착된 검사보드의 문제점을 해결하고, 이를 통하여 최근 급성장하고 있는 VFD와 LCD 및 고밀도 PCB 산업에 따라 그 수요가 급증하고 있는 금속박막 패턴의 short/open 정사 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 PC의 성능 및 기능과는 무관하도록 자체 엔진을 탑재하고 범용 프로토콜을 이용한 인터페이스가 가능하도록 하였다. 특히. 패턴의 short/open 판단은 기존의 비교기 대신에 아날로그/디지털 변환기를 사용하고, 동시에 레벨 비교를 현재의 8단계에서 256단계로 향상시켰다. This paper describes an automatic test system for checking short/open of the patterns printed on VFD glass. This system contains on-system engine and adopts general protocol for interface, so it does not depend on either performance or function of the PC. Instead of comparator, analog to digital converter is used to check short or open state of the patterns. Furthermore, the resolution of the comparator is upgraded to 256 steps. The developed system may be useful for applying to other automatic test systems such as insulation tester or resistance checker.

본 연구에서는 배송물품을 수취권자에게 배달할 때 수령자의 신분증 제시를 요구하지 않고도 택배 수취권자임을 확인할 수 있게 하고, 동시에 해당 물품의 배달 근거 데이터를 자동적으로 생성하여 전산으로 처리하는데 적용하기 위한 택배 수취권자 인증시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 이와 같은 현행 택배 배송 과정의 문제점을 해결하고, 단일 시스템으로 국내의 모든 배송 물품의 수취권자 인증 및 배송 근거의 전산처리에 적용할 수 있다 This paper describes an development of authentication system for parcel delivery using delivery data. Even if this system does not confirm an identification card of a receiver, it can confirm a receiver. This system can also generate delivery data of relevant goods automatically and deal with a computer. A developed system solves a problem of this existing parcel delivery process and can be applied to authentication system of all domestic delivery goods.
PLL 칩상에 수정발진기의 집적화를 위한 CMOS 온도-전압 변환 회로의 설계와 구현

This paper reports design and fabrication of CMOS temperature-voltage converter using 0.25um 3.3V CMOS technology. The proposed circuit has a temperature coefficient of 13mV/℃ for wide operating temperature range with a good linearity. This circuit may be applicable for the design of one-chip IC where crystal oscillator is mounted on the oscillator. 본 논문에서는 CMOS를 이용한 온도-전압 변환회로를 MOSIS의 0.25um 3.3V CMOS 설계규칙에 따라 설계하고 SPICE 시뮬레이션을 통하여 성능을 검토하였다. 설계된 회로는 0℃~150℃의 온도 범위에 대하여 출력 전압이 약 13mV/℃로 변화하며 좋은 온도 선형성을 나타내었다. 또한, 바이어스 전압을 변화시키면 온도변화에 대한 출력전압의 변화량을 조정할 수 있다. 제안된 회로는 온 칩 수정발진회로의 설계 등에 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The Amended Korean Commercial Code(2011) has introduced the electronic registration system of stocks and corporate bonds by accepting the trend of dematerialization or electronization of securities. Corporate bonds are commonly issuing the type of bearer bonds as most of the rules for corporate bonds require the issuance of certificate in the current Korean Commercial Code. Therefore, the electronic registration system for corporate bonds differs from that of stocks in details. Also the legislative supplementation should be required prior to the implementation of the electronic registration. Firstly, it should be stipulated that the issuance of certificates is forbidden in order to clarify the paperless system. And it is necessary that the electronic bonds should be considered as a completely new type, because there is no difference between bearer bonds and registered bonds due to the nature of electronic registrations. Secondly, it is possible that the electronic bonds could be treated as registered bonds according to the essence. In this case, the issuing company should fill in bondholder’s book in line with the notice of the electronic registration institution, and the procedure of transfer could be exempted. Thirdly, if the type of bearer bonds is kept up, it is mandatory to make a certificate of electronic registration to deposit or to present to the issuing company in order to exercise the bond's right. Regards to this, when an issuing company adopts the electronic voting system, it should prepare for the procedure that bondholders apply for the issuance of certificates in advance. On the one hand, it is desirable to construct a single legal system for the electronic registration regime because it affects all securities under the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act as well as the Commercial Code.
