Purpose It is intended to improve the management efficiency of personal dosimeters by analyzing and sharing personal dosimeter loss cases and loss prevention measures. Materials and Methods From 2017 to 2021, data on the number of lost personal dosimeters were collected at large hospitals, and the number of personal dosimeters issued and lost were investigated. Results In order to prevent loss by institution, methods such as the use of auxiliary rings, contact stickers and dosimeter necklaces were implemented. Conclusion Hospitals are a business that frequently changes clothes, such as surgical gowns and work clothes, so there is a lot of loss. In addition, it was confirmed that the loss rate increases as the number of personal dosimeters issued increases.

Background : Diabetes is a chronic disease characterized by deficiency of insulin. It has been reported that Fructus aurantii and mulberry leaves have the effect of anti-diabetes. Methods : To investigate the improvement of mixed extracts of Fructus aurantii and mulberry leaves on lipid metabolism, we performed double-blinded, randomized and placebo-controlled multi-center clinical trial. Results : Mixed extracts of Fructus aurantii and mulberry leaves significantly reduced total cholesterol. Conclusion : These results suggest that mixed extracts of Fructus aurantii and mulberry leaves improve lipid metabolism.

A continuous potential pulse is applied to a silver-working electrode on a pulsed amperometric detector (PAD) for detection of free cyanide and sulfide. The moving phase is 0.1 M sodium hydroxide, 0.5 M sodium acetate and 5% (v/v) ethylenediamine mixture, and the flow rate is 0.7 mL/min. Optimized pulse conditions include a -200 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl reference electrode) detection potential(Ed) for 60 msec and 50 mV cleaning potential (Ec) for 120 msec. The silver working electrode surface is not poisoned by cyanide or sulfide, and the PAD maintains long-term stability without loss of sensitivity and reproducibility at these pulse conditions. The detection limit of cyanide and sulfide separated by ion chromatography using an anion exchange column is 0.1 ppm and 0.05 ppm, respectively.

Improvements of the UV-aging resistance of poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) (PBO) filament yarns, spun yarns, and woven fabrics have been investigated after surface treatment in a continuous process by using polyurethane resin and UV-absorbing and/or UV-stabilizing agents. The UV-aging resistance of PBO specimens was evaluated by tensile strength and reduction rate measurements after exposing the samples to an M400 UV lamp and solar light. A mixture of UV-absorbing (Chiguard$^{(R)}$ 234) and UV-stabilizing (Chiguard$^{(R)}$ 944) agents was found to be more effective compared to individual agents for improving the UV-aging resistance of PBO.
전역-국부 해석기법에 의한 LNG 운반선 화물창의 유탄성 해석에 관한 연구

대형의 유체-구조물 연계시스템(FSI) 해석을 위해 많은 수치기법들이 있지만, 유체의 슬로싱에 의해 발생되는 집중적이고 불규칙한 동수압의 영향 때문에, 신뢰할 수 있는 수치 결과와 수치안정성을 확보하기 위해 매우 조밀한 메쉬를 필요로 한다. 그 결과, 신뢰할 수 있는 장기적인 시간 응답을 구하기 위한 수치해석은 상당히 많은 CPU 시간을 요구한다. 본 논문의 목적은 국부 상세 모델을 이용하여 LNG운반선의 화물창 시스템의 유탄성적 거동을 해석하기 위한 전역-국부 해석기법을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 해석기법의 타당성을 증명하고 이 기법을 통해 LNG운반선 화물창 시스템의 국부응답을 효율적으로 예측한 결과를 제시하였다. There are many numerical methods to solve large-scale fluid-structure interaction(FSI) problems. However, these methods require very fine mesh to achieve the reasonable numerical accuracy and stability due to the concentrated and volatile hydrodynamic pressure caused by the liquid sloshing. Consequently, the numerical analysis targeting for the long-period time response with the desired numerical accuracy Is very highly time-consuming. The aim of this paper is to suggest a new method to analyze the hydroelastic behavior of the LNGC containment by using the global-local numerical approach. The reliability of the presented method is firstly examined, and then its efficiency is demonstrated by presenting that the long-period local responses of the LNGC containment are obtained with relatively short CPU time.
