영화감독의 장르적응력에 대한 자기진단의 문제-극영화 <불새>의 경우-

인간의 본성과 관계에 대한 탐색, 그들이 처해 있는 시대와 세계상의 형상화를 주된 내용으로 하는 영화만들기에서 그 중심역할을 하는 영화감독은 조물주의 전지전능적 존재성에 무의식의 동일시를 취할 수 있는 개연성을 내포함으로써 연출작의 장르선택에 필요한 엄격성과 균형의 유지에서 문제를 야기할 수 있는 소지를 안고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 1992년에 < 김의 전쟁, Kim`s War >으로 데뷔한 이래 6년의 경과기간 동안에 5작품의 극영화를 연출한 이후 후속 작품을 내놓지 못하고 있는 김영빈의 영화이력은 영화감독의 장르적응력에 대한 자기진단의 문제에서 시사하는 바 적지 않다. 이 연구는 그가 영화감독으로서의 존재효용성을 증명했던 시기의 4작품과 그의 패착으로 운위되는 < 불새, A Phoenix >의 장르성격 사이에 어떤 상이점이 있는가를 규명하고자 하는 것이다. 연구결과 <김의 전쟁>, < 비상구가없다, No Exit >, < 테러리스트, Terrorist >, < 나에게오라, Come to Me > 등 김영빈의 앞선 4작품들은 시대성의 굴레 안에서 부당한 힘 또는 세력에 저항하다가 비극적 최후를 맞게 되는 자유의지의 인간을 주인공으로 내세워 공리적 가치를 반추하게 하는 넓은 의미에서의 사실주의 장르성격을 보이는 데 반해 <불새>는 개인의 욕망을 우선하는 인물들의 상열지사를 다루는 멜로드라마라는 상이점이 존재 한다. 이러한 장르의 상이점은 작가주의 신봉자로서 김영빈의 연출작 선택에서 자기진단에 요구되는 엄격성과 균형감을 유지하지 못한 데서 연유한 것이며, 결과적으로 주류영화계에서 스스로 퇴진을 자초한 조건이 된 것으로 분석되었다. Exploring human relations and natures and configuring zeitgeist in cinematic representations, a director stands on the central position that can be unconsciously identified with God`s omnipotent empowerment. It can cause problem to director`s judgment in maintaining balance and appropriateness of film making, expecially a matter of genre adoption and adaptability. In the matter of director`s genre adaptability, Kim Young-bin`s filmography can be suggestive of further discussion. Kim made 4 more films in 6 years since his debut feature film < Kim`s War > in 1992. This self-diagnostic research focuses on differences in genre aesthetics between Kim`s previous 4 films that enabled him to be one of leading directors in 1990`s Korean cinema and < A Pheonix >, his fifth film, allegedly addressed as failure that caused multi-year quietness in his career. Kim`s 4 films - < Kim`s War >, < No Exit >, < Terrorists > and < Come to Me > - give critical speculations on common values in story of free-willed protagonist who fights against power and oppression in the social structure, only faces tragic end. While these films show Kim`s genre aesthetics of realist cinema, < A Phoenix > can be regarded as a melodrama of human sentiments and desires. The research is an effort to reveal that Kim`s disability of maintaining balanced, objective perspective in self diagnosis as an auteurist cineaste caused incoherence in trajectory of his genre aesthetics, which brought his retreat in the mainstream cinema.

Objectives : Strabismus is a disease that can be observed and treated directly from the outside. Therefore, it is very important in Korean medicine ophthalmology in accessibility to treatment. This study is designed to investigate the trends of strabismus-related studies published in Journal of Korean medicine. Methods : 5 Internet databases were selected to search for the study subject. The following 9 keywords were used; Strabismus, Heterophoria, Binocular vision, Visual acuity, Diplopia, Paralytic, Cover test, Oculomotor nerve paralysis, Abducens nerve paralysis. Through this process, a total of 45 studies were found and analyzed into 5 categories ; publication year, publication journal, number of author, type of article, analyzation of case report. Results : There were 2 review articles, 1 original article and 42 case reports. 5 studies(11.1%) were published in 2004 year. Journal of Korean Oriental Medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology were the most common with 40%. The authors were often 2 and 3 (each 22.2%). In the case report study, the treatment period was most often 1-30 days (35.7%). Conclusions : 42 studies were on paralytic strabismus and 1 study was on paralytic and non-paralytic strabismus. These results represent that the studies are concentrated in case reports about paralytic strabismus, but this seems to be an area to be improved in future research.

학습동기, 학습전략, 자기통제성의 학교급별 측정동등성 및 학습부진과의 관계 분석

이 연구는 학생의 학습동기, 학습전략, 자기통제성 측정치의 학교급별 측정동등성을 분석하고, 세 측정치가 준거지표로서 학습부진을 학교급별로 동일하게 예측하는지를 검토하기 위한 것이다. 전국의 초등학교 4학년부터 중학교 3학년까지의 2,282명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 다집단 확 인적 요인분석과 다집단 구조방정식 모형 검증을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 째, 측정모형의 학교급별 동등성을 분석한 결과, 학습전략에 있어서는 요인구조의 동등성이 지지 되고, 자기통제성에 있어서는 오차분산의 동등성이 지지된 반면, 학습동기에서는 측정동등성이 지 지되지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 초등학생과 중학생의 학습동기 구조에 차이가 있는 것으로 예측된 다. 둘째, 세 가지 구인들이 학습부진을 예측하는 정도에 있어서 초등학생과 중학생 간에 차이를 보였다. 이를 토대로 초등학생과 중학생의 학업특성 이해를 위한 후속연구 및 학교급별 학습관련 검사의 차별화 필요성, 학습부진 예방을 위한 학업지도 방안에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. The purpose of this study is to examine the measurement invariance of three student non-cognitive measures – academic motivation, learning strategies, and self control–and whether the degree to which each measure predict underachievement is similar across school levels. Data from a representative sample of approximately 2,282 4th Grade to 9th Grade students in South Korea were used to estimate a series of multi-group confirmatory factor analyses (multi-group CFA) and multi-group structural equation models (multigroup SEM). The main findings are as follows. First, there is a substantial discrepancy between the two school levels in the fit of the hypothesized factor model of academic motivation, which indicates that the factor structure of academic motivation is different between elementary and middle school level. Second, their predictive power of the three constructs diagnosing underachievement differed between the two school levels Practical implications for designing and using non-cognitive construct measures are discussed.

20–39세 성인 비만 남성에서 혈청 남성호르몬 농도에 영향을 미치는 인자

Background: Reportedly, obesity is associated with low testosterone levels in men; however, very few studies have assessed obesity and lowtestosterone levels in young men. This study aimed to investigate factors associated with serum testosterone level in young obese men aged 20–39years. Methods: A total of 270 participants aged 20–39 years were recruited via the out-patient clinic of a university hospital for weight managementbetween 2017 and 2020. All participants underwent anthropometric measurement, bioelectrical impedance analysis, and blood tests. Wecompared serum total testosterone levels and other factors using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and a multiple linear regression model. Results: There was significant negative correlation between serum testosterone levels and waist circumference (r=-0.390, P<0.001), body massindex (r=-0.305, P<0.001), and body fat percent (r=-0.286, P<0.001). Independently, serum testosterone levels were significantly associated withwaist circumference (β=-0.046, P=0.002), serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels (β=-0.399, P=0.005), and serum triglyceride levels (β=-0.501, P<0.001) after linear regression model adjustments. Conclusion: Low serum total testosterone level was independently associated with waist circumference, serum triglyceride, and ALT level in youngobese men. 연구배경: 젊은 성인 남성에서 비만과 남성호르몬의 관련성에 대한연구는 부족하다. 본 연구는 국내 1개 병원에서 3년간 비만치료를위해 외래 방문한 20–39세 남성 비만 환자들의 혈청 남성호르몬 농도에 영향을 미치는 인자가 무엇인지 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 외래 초진기록을 통해 환자의 과거력(고혈압, 당뇨병, 고지혈증 등) 및 약물복용력, 운동, 흡연, 음주 유무를 조사하였다. 자동신체 계측기로 측정한 신장과 체중을 이용하여 체질량지수(kg/m2)를 계산하였다. 허리둘레는 직립자세에서 늑골의 최하단부와 엉덩뼈능선 최상단부의 중간 지점에서 가볍게 숨을 내쉰 상태에서 측정되었다. 체지방률은 Inbody 720 (Biospace, Korea)을 사용하여 측정하였다. 결과: 총 270명의 20–39세 남성 비만 환자들이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구대상자들의 평균 체중은 100.4±15.4 kg이었으며 피어슨 상관계수 분석에서 총 남성호르몬 농도와 체질량지수, 수축기혈압, 이완기혈압, 허리둘레, 체지방량, 당화혈색소, 혈당, ALT, 중성지방이 음의상관관계를, 고밀도지단백질이 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 통계적으로유의한 상관관계를 보인 변수들을 독립변수로 다중 선형회귀분석을 시행하였고, 허리둘레(모델 3, β=-0.046, P=0.002), ALT (모델 3,β=-0.399, P=0.005), 중성지방(모델 3, β=-0.501, P<0.001)이 총 남성호르몬 농도 저하에 영향을 주는 독립변수들로 나타났다. 결론: 젊은 비만 남성에서 남성호르몬의 감소는 허리둘레와 중성지방 및 ALT와 독립적인 연관성이 관찰되었다.

HLA-matched platelet transfusion is required for patients with platelet refractoriness due to HLA alloimmunity. From 2013 to 2019, the Korean Red Cross has recruited 4,080 donors for HLA-matched platelets. The patient’s HLA information should be submitted to the Korean Red Cross in accordance with the WHO HLA serologic specificities. When HLA-matched platelets are requested, the Korean Red Cross selects the appropriate donors based on Duquesnoy’s matching grade classification (1977) and CREGs defined by Takemoto, Fuller, and Rodey (2007) and then contacts them to request blood donations. Platelets of HLA-matched donors are collected by apheresis and supplied to the hospital. To make this process more efficient, the Korean Red Cross introduced a systemic standard work procedure using a computer program for blood donor management and HLA matching. Owing to the extensive polymorphism of the HLA types, expansion of the donor pool would be required to supply HLA-matched platelets sufficiently. As the number of registered donors for HLA-matched platelets is limited, it should only be ordered when the indication criteria for its use are met. The Korean Red Cross is planning to study genotype-based matching strategies for patients with rare HLA types and receive patients’ laboratory test results from medical institutions to evaluate the effectiveness of HLA-matched platelet transfusions.
