      • In situ 고상 에피택시 방법에 의한 CoSi₂/Si(111)구조의 형성

        초고진공에서 공상에피택시(solid-phase epiyaxy, SPE) 방법으로 CoSi₂를 Si(111)기판 위에 에피택시 성장시켰다. 2MeV⁴He++ ion후방산란 분광기와 사중결정 x-선 회절기 및 고분해 투과전자 현미경을 이용하여 성장된 CoSi₂의 상과 조성, 결정성, 그리고 계면의 미시구조를 조사하였다. 초고진공상태의 실온에서 Si(111)-7X7기판에 Co를 약 20 ~50 ?? 중착한 후 SPE에 의하여 실리사이드를 형성시키는 경우 600℃에서는 B-형의 CoSi₂가, 그리고 700℃에서는 A형의 CoSi₂가 선택적으로 에피택시 성장하였으며, 정합성은 B-CoSi₂[110]//Si[110] and CoSi₂(111)//Si(111)이, 그리고 700℃에서는 A-CoSi₂[110]//Si[110], CoSi₂(002)//Si(002)을 나타내었다. Epitaxial films of CoSi₂were grown on Si(111) substrates by in situ solid-phase epitaxy in a ultrahigh vacuum. The phase, the chemical composition, the crystallinity, and the microstructure of the Silicide/Si interface were investigated by 2-MeV⁴He++ ion-backscattering spectrometry, quadruple crystal X-ray diffractometry, and high-resolution transmission eletron micorscopy. High-quality films of either B-type or A-type CoSi₂ could be grown selectively on Si(111) substrates by depositing ~ 20 ~ 50 ?? of Co on a Si(111)-7X7 substrate followed by in situ annealing at 600℃ or 700℃ for 10 min. The matching face relationships are CoSi₂[110]//Si[110] and CoSi₂(111)//Si(111) by B-type CoSi₂ and CoSi₂[110]//Si[110]//Si[110] and CoSi₂(002)//Si(002) for A-type CoSi₂.

        EFFECT OF EUGENOL AND CAPSAICIN ON THE VOLTAGE-DEPENDENT ION CHANNELS OF TRIGEMINAL AFFERENTS

        삼차신경절의 뉴런이 구강악안면영역에서의 촉각, 압각,온도각 및 통각 등 다양한 감각을 중추신경계로 전달하는 역할을 하는 것은 주지의 사실이다. 이러한 신경전달에 있어서 이온통로는 감각정보를 전달하는데 핵심적인 역할을 수행하며 특히 소디움 통로는 활동전위의 발생에 중요하다. 소디움 통로는 tetrodotoxin-sensitive(TTX-5) 및 tetrodotox-in-resistant(TTX-r) 통로로 나누어지는 데 이 중 TTX-r 통로에 발생되는 tetrodotoxin-resistant sodium cur-rent(TTX-r INa.)는 capsaicin에 민감한 일차구심신경세포에서 유해자극에 의해 통각신호를 발생시키고 전달하는데 중요하다. 또한 칼슘 통로는 시냅스 전토에 있어서 필수적인 역할을 수행하고 있다. 한편 치과영역에서 치수의 진정 목적으로 eugenol이 흔히 사용되고 있다. 그러나eugenol의 그 작용 기전에 대해서 현재까지 이온통로에 대한 상세한 결과가 없는 실정이며 최근의 보고에 의하면 eugenol이 capsaicin수용기를 통하여 감각신경에 대한 억제작용을 나타낸다고 한다. 따라서 본 실험은 eugenol과 capsaicin이 흰쥐의 삼차신경절의 TTX-r INa와 칼슘통로에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고 eugenol이 capsaicin 수용기를 통하여 작용하는지를 검증하고자 시행되었다 삼차신경절 뉴런은 100-150g의 흰쥐의 삼차신경절로부터 외과적으로 절제하여 통법의 화학적 및 기계적 처리를 통해 단일세포로 분리하였고 이를 Whole-cell patch clamp 방법을 이용하여 시행한 바 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1.1mM의 dugenol은 흰쥐 삼차신경절 뉴런의 TTX-r INa.와 HVA INa.를 억제하였다. 2.1㎛의 capsaicin은 흰쥐 삼차신경절 뉴런의 TTX-r INa 와 HVA INa 를 억제하였다 3.Capsazepine은 capsaicin의 HVA ICa 에 대한 억제작용을 차단하였다. 4.Capsazepine은 capsaicin의 HVA ICa .에 대한 억제작용을 차단하지 못하였다. 결론적 으로 eugenol과 capsaicin은 tetrodotoxin-resistant sodium current(TTX-r INa )와 high voltage-activated calcium current(HVA ICa )를 모두 억제하는 것으로 나타났으며 , 이러한 작용이 통각의 발생과 시냅스 전달과정을 차단하여 치수 진정 목적으로 많이 사용하는 eugenol의 작용기전으로 판단된다. 한편 capsaicin의 길항제인 capsazepine을 전처치하였을 때에도 eugenol의 HVA ICa 에 대한 억제효과는 변화가 없었다. 이와같은 결과로 보아 HVA ICa 에 관한한 eugenol은 capsaicin 수용기를 통하여 나타나지 않는 것으로 사료된다.

        Osteotome Sinus Floor Elevation Procedure를 이용한 임프란트 매식

        Maxillary sinus has an anatomic limitation to bone support available for dental implant. When there is less than 10㎜ of bone remaining between the upper alveolar ridge crest and the maxillary sinus floor, bone augmentation should be considered. In 1994, Summers reported two sinus floor elevation techniques of limmediate implant insertion, using osteotomes, for patients who have at least 5㎜ of bone remaining between the alveolar ridge crest and the maxillary sinus floor. One technique is osteotome sinus floor elevation (OSFE) procedure in which uses osteotomes to elevate the sinus floor. The other is bone-added OSFE (BAOSFE) procedure in which bone graft is added into osteotomy site. Both procedures conserve all of the remaining bone and selectively displace it upward, thereby raising sinus floor. This study was aimed to evaluate the long-term success rate of implants which had been placed by osteotome sinus floor elevation procedure. Between February 1996 and June 1998, 10 implants were placed using OSFE or BAOSFE procedures in 6 patients who had at least 6㎜ of bone remaining between the alveolar ridge crest and the sinus floor. OSFE procedures were performed in patiens, 2∼4㎜ sinus floor elevation was needed, whereas BAOSFE procedures were done in patines, more than 4㎜ sinus floor elevation was needed. During the mean follow-up period of 4 years 4 months (3 years 6 months ∼ 5 years 9 months), no implant was failed and all patients showed good functional results. OSFE and BAOSFE procedures seemed technically easier and less invasive compared to conventional sinus lift procedure. And both procedure have good success rate.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the eating behaviors and food preferences of university students. The survey was carried out through questionnaire and the subjects were 250 students in Chungbuk National University. Results showed that eating behaviors and food preferences of university students were concerned with general status. And most of the lodgers and the cooking food for themselves showed that their eating behaviors were irregular. As the result, It is necessary that university students were taught eating behaviors and food preferences right.

      • 대학교 가정학 교양과목의 교과내용구성과 수업운영방식 : Focused on Child and Family, Clothing and Textiles, Food and Nutrition, and Housing 아동가족·의생활·식생활·주생활 영역을 중심으로

        The purposes of this study were to: (1) analyze students' educational needs and attitude concerning various areas in Home Economics as a college-level liberal education curriculum, (2) provide data concerning future curricula and efficient teaching method. Four areas of Home Economics were investigated: child and family, clothing and textiles, food and nutrition, and housing. The subjects of this study were 478 students of Chungbuk National University, divided by experiences in enrollment of Home Economics and teaching methods (managed by 1-2 teachers vs. team teaching by 4 teachers). The data were collected by questionnaires developed by the researchers and analyzed by frequencies, t-test and x²-test The major findings were as follows: 1) Child and family education, especially the subjects of child-rearing and parents education, was most needed area by students, and this area also got highest score in attitude. 2) In the field of clothing and textiles, the subject of impression management with clothing was needed the most, and the importance of clothing got the highest score in attitude. Also, the students enrolled Home Economics showed more educational needs and practical attitude. 3) In the field of food and nutrition, food safety and sanitation were the most needed subject and safety of foods making got the highest score in attitude. The students enrolled Home Economic showed more educational needs on the subjects of food safety and sanitation, human nutrition and health maintenance and the culture of food and nutrition. 4) Educational need of the students was the lowest in housing area, though the subjects of knowledge on the space planning such as interior design, use of living space, and indoor environments-heat, light and air got most attention. Educational needs and attitudes of the students were affected by student's sex, major (human vs. scientific), and age. 5) Educational needs and attitudes of the students were affected by sociodemographic variables, such as grade, sex, major (human vs. scientific), and age. And teaching method was also found to be an influential factor.

        외과적 보조의 급속상악확장술 : 치험 5예 REPORT OF 5 CASES

        Five adults (3 cases of bilateral posterior crossbite, 2 cases of unilateral posterior crossbite) with intermaxillary discrepancy of over 5㎜ due to maxillary transverse deficiency were treated by surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion (SARME). Bilateral maxillary horizontal osteotomies, osteotomies of pterygomaxillary junction and anterior lateral nasal wall, ans anterior palatal osteotomy were performed in 4 cases, and unilateral osteotomies in 1case, followed by palatal expansion with tooth-borne orthopedic applicance. No significant complication was observed. The mean palatal expansion was 7.2㎜ (5.8∼10.0㎜) in the maxillary first molar region. During the mean follow-up period of 4 years (5 months∼8 years 7 months), no recurrence of crossbite was observed in all cases. The SARME seemed to be a simple, stable, and reliable procedure for achieving a permanent increase of over 5㎜ in skeletal maxillary transverse width of adults.

        구내신연장치를 이용한 치조골증대술 후 임프란트 매식 : 치험 5예 REPORT OF 5 CASES

        Successful alveolar ridge augmentation by distraction osteogenesis method has been reported previously. There are several types of devices for alveolar ridge augmentation. In this paper, a new intraoral distraction device was used on the severe atrophic mandible in order to distract an alveolar ridge vertically in 5 patients. Mean amount of distracted alveolar ridge was 7.4㎜ (5∼9.5㎜). Dental implants were placed in the distracted alveolar bone and good osseointegration was obtained in all patients. Mean follow up period is 2years 6months (7months∼4years 9months). No complications, such as infection or resorption was observed in all patients. Alveolar ridge augmentation by gradual distraction seems to be a safe, simple and reliable procedure.
