레이저 가공시 조사되는 레이저 빔의 특성을 나타내는 변수 - 예를 들면, 빔의 형상, 초점면과 소재사이의 거리, 빔 강도 분포, 빔의 발산각, 실제 빔이 퍼져가는 양상이 이상적인 Gaussian 빔에 비해 얼마나 큰지를 나타내는 beam quality factor 등 - 이 가공결과에 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 경험적으로 잘 알려져 있다. 특히 원적외선 레이저로 천공, 에칭 또는 엑사이머 레이저로 ablation 가공을 수행할 때는 이러한 빔특성 변수의 영향이 극대화된다. 본 연구에서는 중요한 빔특성 변수의 영향을 가능한 독립시켜 정성적 및 정량적으로 파악하기 위해 연속발진 모드의 레이저빔 사용시 열전도에 의한 손실을 고려하였으며, 문제를 단순화해 빔 또는 가공소재의 상대적인 움직임이 없는 천공 (또는 에칭제거)의 경우에 대하여, 수치모사를 통해 여러 가지 빔 변수의 변화가 가공결과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 레이저 빔의 초점의 위치를 표면에서 멀리하면 가공깊이는 감소하게 되며, 같은 간격일 때는 소재의 내부에 위치시키는 것이 다소 유리하다. 또한 빔의 발산각이 작고, beam quality factor 값이 1에 가까울수록 깊은 가공을 얻을 수 있음을 파악하였다. In laser machining such as drilling with CO_2 or Nd:YAG laser, and etching or ablation with Excimer laser, one of the most important parameters affecting the machining results is known to be beam characteristics. In this paper a study is performed through a numerical simulation with the appropriate model to investigate the effects of beam parameters qualitatively and quantitatively, especially in the process of laser drilling of ceramics and ceramic composites. Results of different beam conditions reveal that the machined hole becomes deeper as (ⅰ) the beam divergence gets smaller,(ⅱ) beam quality factor approaches unity, and (ⅲ) beam focus lies nearer to the surface of the workpiece.

A recycling process for the waste FRP from boats was developed. The recycling process is composed of decomposition of waste FRP with propylene glycol and synthesis of recycled unsaturated polyester resin from the decomposed liquid material. Prior to the decomposition, waste FRP was cut into 2cm × 5cm segments and mechanical impact was applied by press roller to give gaps between cumulated laminates. Propylene glycol effectively decomposed the waste FRP segments and glass fibers were easily separated from decomposed liquid material. Recycled unsaturated polyester resin could be made from the decomposed liquid material by reaction with maleic anhydride and phthalic anhydride.
고속철도 건설과 관련하여 지하수위 분포를 이용한 지하수환경 변화 분석

This study is aimed for estimating change of groundwater environment in relation to constructing Honam express railway in Cheonan-Iksan section. This study was conducted by measuring depth to water and by calculating groundwater level anomaly. Depth to water ranges from 0.03 to 21.1 m and ranges from 0.17 to 227.95 m mean sea level. Distributions of depth to water, of groundwater elevation and of groundwater level anomaly were analyzed to estimate water-level change due to express railway construction. High water-level anomaly section is found in Jangjae(Cheonan)-Daejeon-Iksan section with anomaly index 85.39. High water-level change is anticipated in 22.22-24.19 km, 25.1-25.53 km, 25.53-26.46 km, 26.46-27.77 km, 28.7-29.29 km, 30.18-30.26 km, and 30.26-32.4 km sections from the start of Jangjae(Cheonan).

In the head and neck area, there are so many sensory nerves, which are sometimes injuried iatrogenically or inadvertently so that involved patients complained of the loss of sensations. In such cases, it is important to judge the degree of injuries and regeneration of nerve for better diagnosis and treatment. Seddon and Sunderland's classification, which is commomly used, is focused on histological change and nerve conduction. As times goes by, it is difficult to access patient's sensory disturbance by this method. Until now, so many methods such as contract threshold, direction, two-point discrimination, pin prick, thermal discrimination and current perception threshold have been introduced for sensory evaluation. However, there hasn't been enough information regarding each methodology nor integrated standard methodology for the measurement. the purpose of this study is to get Korean adult normative sensory values of lower lip,chin and tongue using modified methods of contact thershold, ditection, two point discrimination, pin prick, thermal discrimination and assess degree of regeneration of sensory nerve damage.

The surgery of oral and maxillofacial area poses the risk of cranial nerve damage such as trigeminal nerve or facial nerve. Inferior alveolar nerve is prone to damage in the third molar extraction, implant installation, orthognathic surgery, open reduction and rigid fixation, and tumor ablation surgery. On the other hands,facial nerve is likely to be damaged or sacrificed with trauma or parotidectomy. In case of inferior alveolar nerve injury, the incidence is reported to be about 1.3%. The nerve function will almost recover in minimal damage, but it won't recover at last in total damage of a part of nerve unit. In latter cases, nerve regeneration in intended by allograft as nerve substitute or various route of merve condit. But the recovery with autograft is believed to be most relialbe mrthod in the rapair of long-span(longer than 15㎜)nerve defect. We have performed autologous sural nerve graft in the repair of nerve defect, which is caused by resection of benign or malignant tumor. Hereby we report the method of nerve harvesting, recovery of defected peripheral nerve and the complications of donor site with the discussion of sural nerve anatomy.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In recent years, Cu<SUB>2</SUB>ZnSn(S<SUB>1-x</SUB>Se<SUB>x</SUB>)<SUB>4</SUB> (CZTSSe) prepared by a two-step process using metal precursors has been reported to exhibit a relatively high power conversion efficiency, and a high efficiency of 12.5% by two-step process contained via sputtering method was recently confirmed by our group. In this study, we proposed formation mechanisms for the CZTSSe double layer, voids and ZnSSe layer, which were observed in the CZTSSe using metal precursor. Due to the persistent dezincification from the metal precursors and preferential reaction between the Zn and chalcogens such as S and Se, almost all Zn is consumed to form the ZnSSe layer; as a result, large voids are produced first under the ZnSSe layer. Cu<SUB>2</SUB>Se and SnSe are grown on the ZnSSe layer via migration of the Cu and Sn through the grain boundaries of the ZnSSe layer. Thus, additional small voids are expected to form due to the mass transfer of Cu and Sn. Because of the preferentially formed ZnSSe layer and the chalcogenation of Cu and Sn after the mass transfer, a CZTSSe double layer can be formed, and ZnSSe can exist between these CZTSSe layers. Finally, we propose a method based on the formation mechanism to control the voids and secondary phases, which affect the fill factor and output current.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The new formation mechanisms of the voids, ZnSSe layer and CZTSSe double layer that were observed in the sister sample of 12.5% of CZTSSe cell. </LI> <LI> Large voids are produced under the ZnSSe layer due to the persistent dezincification and preferential reaction between the Zn and chalcogens. </LI> <LI> Additional small voids are expected to form due to the migration of Cu and Sn from under the ZnSSe layer to above ZnSSe layer. </LI> <LI> Due to the preferentially formed ZnSSe layer and Cu and Sn migration, ZnSSe secondary phase exists between the CZTSSe double layers. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>The new formation mechanisms of the voids, ZnSSe layer and CZTSSe double layer that were observed in the sister sample of 12.5% of CZTSSe cell.</P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
