        비수리(Lespedeza cuneata G. Don) 메탄올 추출물로부터 분획된 용매분획물의 항산화활성과 α-Glucosidase 저해활성

        비수리의 식품학적 이용가능성을 확인해 보고자 항산화성분 및 항산화활성, superoxide dismutase 유사활성, α-glucosidase 저해활성 등에 대해 검토하였다. 비수리 메탄올 추출물과 hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol 및 물 분획 등 순차적 용매분획물의 총 폴리페놀 함량은 각각 12.44, 3.61, 6.39, 27.11, 20.00 및 9.32 ㎎ GAE/g extract residue(ER)로 나타났으며, 총 플라보노이드 함량은 각각 2.94, 9.92, 7.77, 9.27, 5.11 및 2.66 ㎎ CE/g ER, 총 탄닌 함량은 각각 8.75, 10.04, 7.42, 17.32, 11.65 및 7.61 ㎎ TAE/g ER, 총 프로안토시아니딘의 함량은 346.09, 63.50, 103.76, 288.62, 231.99 및 358.48 ㎍ CE/g ER로 나타났다. 비수리 메탄올 추출물과 hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol 및 물 분획물의 DPPH radical 소거활성은 각각 20.62, 5.16, 9.29, 20.80, 20.00 및 20.79 ㎎ TE/g ER, ABTS radical 소거활성은 각각 33.86, 9.24, 17.36, 33.76, 33.49 및 33.86 ㎎ TE/g ER로 나타났다. SOD 유사활성은 각각 4.12, 0.61, 2.01, 9.89, 13.47 및 11.82 unit/mL의 활성을 보여 butanol 분획과 물 분획에서 유의적으로 높은 활성을 나타내었고 α-glucosidase 저해활성은 물 분획 50 및 25 ㎍/mL에서 각각 93.85 및 61.64%로 높은 저해활성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 비수리 추출물은 항산화성분 및 항산화활성, SOD 유사활성, α-glucosidase 저해활성을 가지는 물질을 함유한 것으로 보이며, 체내 및 식품에서 활성산소 종 제거에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 보인다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant contents and antioxidant activities of solvent fractions from methanolic extract of sericea lespedeza. To determine the antioxidant compounds in solvent fractions from methanolic extract, total polyphenolic, flavonoid, tannin, and proanthocyanidin contents were measured by spectrophotometric methods. Solvent fractions were evaluated for antioxidative capacity according to DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities. Total polyphenolic contents were 12.44, 3.61, 6.39, 27.11, 20.00, and 9.32 ㎎ gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/g extract residue (ER), respectively. Total flavonoid contents were 2.94, 9.92, 7.77, 9.27, 5.11, and 2.66 ㎎ catechin equivalent (CE)/g ER, respectively. Total tannin contents were 8.75, 10.04, 7.42, 17.32, 11.65, and 7.61 ㎎ tannic acid equivalent (TAE)/g ER, respectively. Total proanthocyanidin contents were 346.09, 63.50, 103.76, 288.62, 231.99, and 358.48 ㎍ CE/g ER, respectively. DPPH radical scavenging activities of solvent fractions from methanolic extract of sericea lespedeza were 20.62, 5.16, 9.29, 20.80, 20.00 and 20.79 ㎎ Trolox equivalent (TE)/g ER, and ABTS radical scavenging activities were 33.86, 9.24, 17.36, 33.76, 33.49, and 33.86 ㎎ TE/g ER, respectively. SOD-like activities were 4.12, 0.61, 2.01, 9.89, 13.47, and 11.82 units/mL, and α-glucosidase inhibition activities were 93.85 and 61.64% at concentrations of 50 and 25 ㎍/mL in the water fraction, respectively. The results of this study show that notable antioxidant activities in sericea lespedeza have significant health benefits.

        맨드라미(Celosia cristata L.) 꽃 메탄올 추출물로부터 용매분획된 분획물의 항산화활성

        맨드라미꽃의 식품학적 이용가능성을 확인해 보고자 항산화성분 및 항산화활성에 대해 검토하였다. 맨드라미꽃의 항산화성분과 활성은 메탄올 추출물과 순차적 용매분획물에 대해 측정하였으며, 메탄올 추출물과 hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol 및 물 분획물의 추출수율은 각각 23.33, 10.27, 20.00, 13.63, 17.55 및 38.54%였다. 맨드라미 꽃 메탄올 추출물의 총 polyphenol, flavonoid 및 tannin 함량은 각각 6.80 ㎎ GAE/g ME, 2.34 ㎎ CE/g ME 및 6.23 ㎎ TAE/g ME였다. 순차적 용매분획물 중 butanol 분획에서 각각 14.92 ㎎ GAE/g SF, 5.44 ㎎ CE/g SF 및 13.38 ㎎ TAE/g SF로 함량이 높았다. 총 proanthocyanidin 함량은 44.72 ㎍ CE/g ME였고 순차적 용매분획물은 각각 42.47, 44.43, 50.03, 49.12 및 41.80 ㎍ CE/g ER로 용매간 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았다. 맨드라미꽃의 메탄올 추출물의 DPPH 및 ABTS radical 소거활성은 각각 5.24 및 10.70 ㎎ TE/g ME였고 butanol 분획에서 각각 12.53 및 21.09 ㎎ TE/g SF로 활성이 높았다. 메탄올 추출물의 SOD 유사활성은 7.96 unit/mL로 나타났고 hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol 및 물 분획물은 각각 4.56, 6.15, 8.07, 12.36 및 5.21 unit/mL로 butanol 분획의 활성이 높았다. 맨드라미꽃 추출물의 항산화성분과 항산화활성 간에 높은 정의 상관관계를 보였고 맨드라미꽃 추출물이 체내 및 식품에서 유익한 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant contents and activities of solvent fractions from methanolic extracts of cockscome flowers. The yield of methanolic extracts from cockscome flowers was 23.33%, whereas those of its solvent fractions (hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol, and water) were 10.27, 20.00, 13.63, 17.55, and 38.54%, respectively. Total polyphenolic, flavonoid, tannin, and proanthocyanidin contents of methanolic extracts (ME) were 6.80 ㎎ gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/g ME, 2.34 ㎎ catechin equivalent (CE)/g ME, 6.23 ㎎ tannic acid equivalent (TAE)/g ME, and 44.72 ㎍ CE/g ME, respectively. The highest total polyphenolic, flavonoid, and tannin contents of solvent fractions were 14.92 ㎎ GAE/g solvent fraction (SF), 5.44 ㎎ CE/g SF, and 13.38 ㎎ TAE/g SF in the butanol fraction, respectively. The total proanthocyanidin contents were 42.47, 44.43, 50.03, 49.12, and 41.80 ㎍ CE/g SF, respectively. The DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities from cockscome flowers were 5.24 and 10.70 ㎎ Trolox equivalent (TE)/g ME, respectively. The highest DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities of the solvent fractions were 12.53 and 21.09 ㎎ TE/g SF in the butanol fraction, respectively.       • 노즐내 이차원 물체에 의한 피동제어된 아음속 제트구조에 관한 연구

        A turbulent wake generated by a cylinder in nozzle contraction affects to the jet flow characteristics. In this study, a computational work to investigate the effect of the turbulent wake on two-dimensional subsonic jet was carried out with three different kinds of nozzle. Computations are applied to the two-dimensional unsteady, Navier-Stokes equations. Several kinds of turbulent models and wall functions are employed to validate the computational predictions. It was known that the wake flow enhanced the spread of the jet flow, compared with no wake flow condition. It was also found that the jet core is shortened by the wake flow developed from a control cylinder.

        정신분열증 환자군에서 낮병원 치료가 경각심과 정신운동기능에 미치는 영향에 대한 예비 연구

        Objectives : The aim of study is to compare the neuropsychological function changes between day hospital schizophrenic patients and out patient schizophrenic patients and to examine the effect of day hospital program on the cognitive function of schizophrenics. Methods : Neuropsychological test was done two times at discharge and 2 months later in 11 day hospital schizophrenic patients and 10 out patient schizophrenic patients by DSM-Ⅳ criteria. Vigilance, motor performance series are used as a computerized neuropsychological batteries. Results : Day hospital patients have significantly increased performance in some of motor performance series test items, but sustained attention have no tendency for increasing in day hospital patients. Conclusion : This results are preliminary. But this study suggest that psychomotor function of schizophrenics can be changed following day hospital treatment. And also we suggest that further day hospital treatment program expecially including congnitive rehabilitation needed.

        강재의 단축인장 시험과 마모와의 관계

        The reorientations of the atoms by frictional shear deformation at the surface induce cracks at the boundary of the grain. The cracks grow and propagate in regions where the hydrostatic component of stress is least com-pressive because the compressive component restores the cracks by three-dimensional crystallizing π-bondings. The materials, with Luder's band have very small amount of wear at the initial state. It suggests that initial frictional shear deformation be consumed to the formation of the Luder's band. The average wear amounts of the materials increase very steeply as the ø_u, the stress-strain ratio at the ultimate point, decreases.

      • 실린더 후류를 이용한 아음속 디퓨저 유동의 제어에 관한 연구

        The present study addressed a computational work to investigate the influence of a turbulent wake flow on the pressure recovery of subsonic diffuser. The turbulent wake is generated by a cylinder with a small diameter, which is installed at the diffuser inlet of a 2-dimensional diffuser Computation are applied to three-dimensional steady Navier-Stokes equations. The computational results are qualitatively well compared to existing experimental results. The results show that the diffuser pressure recovery of the subsonic diffuser is dependent on the diameter and location of the cylinder. It is found that a certain diameter and location of cylinder to generate the turbulent wake give a better pressure recovery, compared with no cylinder flow

        Abstract - In this paper, we propose a bidirectional mobile Ad Hoc routing protocol based on AODV(ad-hoc on-demand distance victor routing) with QoS(quality of service) support. At presence, wireless mobile communication focuses on how to efficiently support mobility of users more than QoS guarantee. However, in order to satisfy requirement of various applications which have been or will be served, QoS guarantee between end point is a very important issue. The existing AODV routing protocol is implemented to use only BE (Best Effort) service. However, actual wireless mobile environment requires to reduce a waste of communication resources and meet with the real-time change of data paths by setting up routes with QoS support, considering available communication resources at each node in advance. Therefore, in this thesis, we propose an adaptive QoS support method using hello message in order to rapidly meet with the change of available communication resources and to smoothly perform route maintenance. For performance evaluation, we analyzed the average date reception rate. At that time, we used evaluation parameters such as node's mobility -stop time, hello message period, and packet priority, considering the node's mobility and the number of best effort/QoS data flows. As results, we found that with our proposed method the average data reception rate was increased 16.3% for 0 mobility-stop second case and 4.7% for 300 mobility-stop second case.

        Enamel matrix derivative(EMDOGAIN^(R))을 이용한 상악 소구치의 자가이식 치험례

        The success of tooth transplantation or replantation depends on the viability of periodontal ligament in the transplanted tooth. Mechanical injury to periodontal tissues frequently results in dental root resorption and ankylosis, which leads to the failure of transplantation or replantation. Enamel matrix derivative (EMD) has been recently used to induce periodontal regeneration. In this report, we show a clinical case of EMD application in the transplantation of an inversely impacted and immature tooth. An impacted second premolar was found in the right maxilla of a 14 year-old girl. The tooth was inversely impacted and the root formation was incomplete. When transplantation was carried out. EMD was applied to the periodontal tissues of the extracted premolar. The tooth was fixed at the correct position and the clinical condition was followed for evaluation for 3 months. Radiographs after 3 months exhibited new bone formation surrounding the transplanted tooth. There were no signs of root resorption or ankylosis, and reconstruction of the bone defect area at the maxilla was also found. Short-term results from this case indicated that EMD application was effective in the transplantation of an inversely impacted and immature tooth. In adddition, EMD might contribute to obtain good healing without ankylosis. Further follow-up observations are necessary to evaluate the regenerative effects of EMD.

      • 실험적 녹농균성 각막염에 대한 Cefotetan의 치료 효과

        This study was carried out for the purpose of evaluation of effect of cefotetan against the pseudomonas induced keratitis. The corneal infection caused by pseudomonas organisms have a poor prognosis and their increased prevalence and general resistance to therapy make them a serious problem for to ophthalmologists. So, the author introduced experimental keratitis in the rabbit cornea by Ps. aeruginosa and Compared effects of the cefotetan and tobramycin. The cefotetan is a new antibiotic of cephalosporin system which is effective in vivo and vitro against not only gram positive but also gram negative organism and is stable against the β-lactamase. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Clinically, cefotetan and gentamicin were both effective against experimentally induced .pseudomonas keratitis and there was no significant difference between the efficacy of cefotetan and that of tobramycin. 2. In culture study, the test after treatment showed significantly fewer colonies on the platesfrom the cefotetan, tobramycin treated groups than those from the saline treated group, and there was no significant difference between cefotetan treated, and tobramycin treated group.

        모 제약회사 근로자들의 직업성 천식 유병률과 약제 분말 노출수준

        목적: 제약회사에서 직업상 천식의 유병 규모를 파악하고 작업공정에 대한 작업환경 측정을 통해 제약회사의 약제 분말에 대한 노출수준을 평가하고자 하였다. 방법: 제약회사에서 약제 분말에 노출되는 근로자를 대상으로 천식을 선별하기 위하여 설문조사 및 진찰, 혈액검사, 폐기능 검사 그리고 피부단자시험을 실시하였고, 각 부서별 공정에 따라서 총분진과 항생제 또는 효소제 분말에 대한 작업환경 측정을 실시하였다. 직업상 천식이 의심되는 근로자에 대하여 기관지과민성에 대한 검사(메타콜린을 이용한 비특이 기관지유발시험)와 약제 분말 기관지유발시험을 실시하여 확진하였다. 결과: 설문조사 및 진찰에서 작업 관련 천식 증상이 있는 근로자는 11명(34.4%)이었고, 약제 분말을 이용한 피부단자시험에서 1+ 이상 반응을 보인 근로자 10명(31.2%)이었다. 비특이 기관지유발시험 결과 8명(25.0%)이 양성(PC20 ≤16 mg/ml)이었다. 약제 분말 기관지유발시험을 통해 직업상 천식으로 확진된 근로자는 5명(15.6%)이었다. 작업환경 측정에서 원료를 충진하거나 투입하는 작업 그리고 정립작업에서 약제 분말에 대한 노출이 많았다. 결론: 제약회사에서 직업상 천식은 주로 제조공정 중 약제 분말에 노출된 근로자에서 발생하여, 증상 및 직업성 천식의 유병률이 높았다. 따라서 원료를 충진 또는 투입하는 작업과 정립작업 등 제조과적에서 약제 분말 노출을 줄이기 위한 세심한 주의가 필요하여, 약제 분말을 취급하는 근로자에 대해서는 천식 증상 조사뿐 아니라 정기적으로 피부단자시험, 비특이 기관지유발시험 등을 실시하여야 할 것이다. Objectives: After the investigation of one worker with occupational asthma, we surveyed the preva- lence of occupational asthma and the exposure level of pharmaceutical dust of 32 workers in a pharmaceutical company. Methods: Thirty-two of the 90 employees participated in the survey which consisted of questionnaire, blood sampling, spirometry and skin prick tests with 8 common allergens as well as 9 antibiotics and 2 enzymes. Various indices of the working environment were also measured. Subjects who had a symptom suggestive of work-related asthma or positive skin prick test were further investigated by PC20 methacholine. Nine subjects who had a PC20 result of 16 mg/ml or less (n=7) or had work-related symptoms and positive skin prick test (n=2) were referred to undergo a specific bronchial provocation test to phar- maceutical dust in an academic allergic disease center. Results: Eleven of 32 workers (34.4%) had a work-related symptom suggestive of occupational asthma. Ten (31.2%) showed positive skin prick test. 8 (25.0%) had a PC20 result of 16 mg/ml or less (indicative of significant bronchial hyperresponsiveness), and 5 (15.6%) had a positive result on the specific bronchial provocation test. Exposure levels of stuffing, input of raw materials and screening process were relatively high. Conclusions: This survey showed that pharmaceutical workers have an increased risk of occupational asthma. Although pharmaceutical factories maintain a relatively good working environment, careful control of respiratory tract exposures, especially during stuffing, input or raw materials and screening process, is important to prevent occupational asthma. Pharmaceutical workers need to undergo regular skin prick and methacholine bronchial provocation tests, as well as asthmatic symptom survey, to ensure the early detection and prevention of occupational asthma.
