        Background : In recent years gonorrhoea has been panendemic and remains one of the most common Sexually Transmitted Diseases in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Method : For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria Gonorrhoeae(PPNG), Ive have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results : In 1994, 168 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 109 (64,9% ) were PPNG. Conclustion : Our results suggests that the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is still increasing.

        This paper aims at providing a concrete plan to improve technical and vocational teacher education in the College of Industrial Education of Chungnam National University. It is intended to propose a practical four-year regular and short-term course. Also, the estimated required facilities is included in this study as well as their management. The main conclusions and recommendations are summarized as follows; 1) The numbers of students enrollment should be reduced to 220 students which is the approximate number of future demand. 2) In order to offer to the students a broader education and to cope with the increase/decrease in demand of technical and vocational teacher within a specific field, the 8 department existing at the present (Department of Architecture Engineering Education, Civil Eng. Educ., Metallurgical Eng. Educ., Mechanical Eng. .Educ., Electrical Eng. Educ., Electronic Eng. Educ., Industrial Chemistry Educ. and Industrial Technology Educ.) would be combined into 5 (Department of Construction Engineering Education, Mechanical Eng. Educ., Electrical Eng. Educ., Industrial Chemistry Educ. and Industrial Technology Educ.). 3) The short-term course program is recommened to provide additional training and education to those candidates who already have experience in technical fields to meet an occasional demand. 4) It is necessary to add the Teaching Profession Section in the administrative organization of the College.

        전좌굴을 고려한 복합적층원통셸의 거동해석

        The objective of this study is to investigate effects of prebuckling on the buckling of laminated composite cylindrical shells. Axial compression and lateral pressure are considered for laminated composite cylindrical shells with the ratios of length to radius. The shell walls are made of a laminate with several symmetric ply orientations. The study was made using finite difference energy method, utilizing the nonlinear bifurcation branch with nonlinear prebuckling displacements. The results are compared to the buckling loads determined when membrane prebuckling displacements are considered. Review the influence of nonlinear prebuckling for the buckling loads, the difference between the actual and classical buckling loads are increased as the increments with the ratios of length to radius, for which is applied the axial compres-sion, but almost same for the lateral pressure.

        보강된 복합적층 원통형패널의 좌굴거동

        Bucking behavior of stiffened laminated composite cylindrical panel was studied using linear and nonlinear deformation theory. Various buckling load factors are obtained for stiffened laminated composite cylindrical panels with rectangular type longitudinal stiffeners and various longitudinal length to radius ratio, made from Carbon/Epoxy USN150 prepreg and are simply-supported on four edges under uniaxial compression. Buckling behavior design analyses are carried out by the nonlinear search optimizer, ADS.

      • 법랑질에 국소도포된 불화물의 효과에 관한 X-선 광전자분광기 및 주사전자현미경적 연구

        This study was performed to examine the reaction of the different flouride agents(AlF_3, NaF, Na_2PO_3F, NH_4F, SnF_2, TiF_4) on enamel as well as to compare the anticarious effect of these agents. The adsorption of fluoride on powdered enamel under various kinds and concentrations of fluoride solution treatment was measured by specific electrode. Enamel specimens treated with 6 kinds of 1,000ppm fluoride solution were evaluated for enamel solubility. And enamel surfaces treated with these fluoride solutions were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The results were as follows : 1. The adsorption of fluoride on powdered enamel increased gradually by the concentration of the fluoride solutions. The adsorption of fluoride on powdered enamel treated with NH_4F and NaF solutions at pH 4.0 was relatively higher than that of other fluoride solutions. In NF_4F and NaF solution, the adsorption of fluoride on powdered enamel was higher at pH 4.0 solution than at pH 7.0 solution. 2. In enamel solubility, that of enamel specimen treated with NH_4F solution was the lowest of all specimens and followed by the specimens treated with TiF_4, SnF_2, VaF, Na_2PO_3F, and AlF_3 solution in order. And enamel specimens treated with any fluoride solutions were less soluble than control group untreated with fluoride solution. 3. The fluorine on enamel surface treated with NH_4F solution comprised 2.91% of the detected elements and in the case of Na_2PO_3F it did 0.79%. In AlF_3, SnF_2, and TiF_4 solutions, Al, Sn, and Ti atoms comprised 8.23%, 13.61% and 6.10%, respectively. 4. In SEM photomicrographs, NH_4F solution made the granular surface deposits on enamel surface, and irregular crystallines were slightly deposited in AlF_3, SnF_2 solutions. TiF_4 solution produced a tenacious surface coating on enamel surface with irregular cristallines. 5. NaF and NH_4F solutions formed calcium fluoride. SnF_2, TiF_4 solutions deposited the metallic salts on enamel surface. These fluoride solutions caused the increase of fluoride contents on enamel and the reduction of enamel solubility.

        This study is to investigate the characteristics of the surface around a hole and outlet of product which are manufactured by face mill or end mill cutting with a hole or a pocket in its surface. Furthermore, experiments for optimization of process conditions to minimize the change of characteristics of milling cut surface after a hole cutting operation are implemented. This result is apply manufacture of mold products and metal products by diecasting.

        미소결함의 형상인식을 위한 디지털 신호처리 적용에 관한 연구

        In this study, the classified researches the artificial and natural flaws in welding pails are performed using the pattern recognition technology. For this purpose the signal pattern recognition package including the user defined function was developed and the total procedure including the digital signal processing, feature extraction, feature selection and classifi-er selection is treated by bulk. Specially it is composed with and discussed using the statistical classifier such as the linear discriminant function the empirical Bayesian classifier. Also, the pattern recognition technology is applied to classifica-tion problem of natural flaw(i.e multiple classification problem - crack, lack of penetration, lack of fusion, porosity, and slag inclusion, the planar and volumetric flaw classification problem). According to this results, it is possible to acquire the recognition rate of 83% above even through it is different a little according to domain extracting the feature and the classifier.

        연속주조 몰드의 구조해석

        The objective of this study is structural analysis of continuous casting mold. A two-dimensional finite element model was developed to compute the temperature distribution, thermal stress and thermal strain behavior for continuous casting mold. Structural analysis was made using thermal analysis result, utilizing transient analysis of ANSYS. This structural analysis results, many variables such as casting speed, cooling condition, film coefficient, convection and load condition are considered.
