Isothermal solubilities of nitrogen in clean fire extinguishing agents, such as bromotrifluoromethane (Halon-1301), bromochlorodifluoromethane (Halon-121 t), 1,1,1,2,3,3,3- heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea), and trifluoroiodomethane (FIC-13I1) were measured in a circulation-type equilibrium apparatus. The temperature range was (293.2 to 313.2) K and the pressure range was (30 to 100) bar. The experimental data were well correlated with the Peng- Robinson equation of state using the Wong and Sandier mixing rules, and the relevant parameters are presented.

This study attempts to analyze the drainage system of the Nam-Han River basin with the purpose of examing the characteristics and presenting the data for systematizing rivers in Korea. The Drainage system is analyzed according to Bifurcation ratio and Length ratio. The research is based upon analysis of 1 : 250,000 topographical map coverage. The results are as follows: (1) The main stream is found to be 5th order. The Bifurcation ratio is determined to be 4.95, and the Length ratio, 3.78. These ratio are higher than Nak-Dong and Geum River basin. (2) In view of the above findings, We can recognize that Nam-Han River basin has complicated geologic conditions and it is in the active erosion. (3) Correlation between order and number which is plotted on the semilog paper shows characteristics of natural stream systems. (4) Correlation between order and length expresses that the junction of the 4th order leans to the upper stream.

몬트리올 의정서에 의해서 규제받는 CFCs와 Halon의 대체 물질인 HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-236fa와 불활성 화합물 Ar, N₂, CO₂의 열역학적 물성인 포화압력, 밀도, 엔탈피, 점도를 비교하였다. 본 연구에서는 소화제의 물성을 문헌값을 온도의 함수로서 표시하였다. HFC화합물의 열역학적 물성은 Halon-1301과 비슷하게 나타내었다. 불활성 화합물은 주로 혼합물로 이용되지만, 불활성 화합물의 물성은 Halon-13O1에 비하며 바람직하지 않았다. For CFCs and Halons regulated by Montreal Protocol and their alternatives of HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-236fa and the mixtures of inert gases of Ar, N₂ and CO₂, the thermodynamic properties of saturated pressure, density, enthalpy and viscosity were compared. In this study, the data from literature were expressed as a function of temperature. Thermodynamic properties of HFC compounds were similar to those of Halon-1301. Inert gas was mainly used as a mixture, but the physical properties of the inert gas does not have the favorable advantages over those of Halon-1301.
頭部 X-線 規格寫眞을 利用한 韓國正常成人의 眼窩部 計側學的 硏究

For measurements on orbit of normal Korean adults by non-rotated skull P-A roentgenogram, the author measured the interorbital distance, the distance between medial and lateral orbital walls, the depth of cribriform plate from the upper orbital margin, the thickness of the lateral orbital margin, the thickness of the lateral orbital wall at zygomatico-frontal suture, and the angle between both greater wings of sphenoid. The roentgenograms of 200 patients of adults above 20 years were reviewed. To establish original standards, the author used non-rotated posteroanterior roentgenograms of skulls obtained at a focus-film distance of 100cm and a patient-film distance of 7cm. The results are summarised as follows: 1. The interobital distances were 27.46±1.64mm in male and 25.52±1.42mm in female. 2. The distances between medial and lateral walls were 36.94±1.52mm in male and 34.54±1.04mm in female. 3. The depths of cribriform plate from the upper orbital margin were 9.83±0.41mm in male and 9.84±0.34mm in female. 4. The thicknesses of the lateral orbital wall at zygomatico-frontal suture were 5.09±0.52mm in male and 4.85±0.42mm in female. 5. The angles between both greater wings of sphenoid were 41.43±3.48 degree in male and 41.80±3.45degree in female. 6. In the above 5 measurements, there were no significant differences among the age groups above 20 years old. 7. In contrast to female, male had significantly larger interobital distance and distance between medial and lateral orbital walls.

In the selective an quantitative determination of nickel by the dimethylglyoximate complexation from the ores, the undesirable impurities such as iron, cobalt and copper interfere the separation by forming the oximate complexes. To solve this problem, the extraction of these species with the liquid anion exchanger, amberlite LA-1, has been attempted. Nickel was completely separated with dimethylglyoxime in aqueous phase from the sample containing iron, aluminum, chromium, cobalt, copper, zinc and nickel after treating it with 50 ml of 5% amberite LA-1-xylene and the concentrated hydrochloric acid solution.

Background/Aims: In the Republic of Korea, an estimated 231,000 individuals have chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. The aim of the present analysis was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of elbasvir/grazoprevir (EBR/GZR) administered for 12 weeks in Korean patients who were enrolled in international clinical trial phase 3 studies. Methods: This was a retrospective, integrated analysis of data from patients with HCV genotype (GT) 1b infection enrolled at Korean study sites in four EBR/GZR phase 3 clinical trials. Patients were treatment-naive or had previously failed interferon-based HCV therapy, and included those with human immunodeficiency virus coinfection or Child- Pugh class A cirrhosis. All patients received EBR 50 mg/GZR 100 mg once daily for 12 weeks. The primary endpoint was sustained virologic response at 12 weeks after completion of therapy (SVR12, HCV RNA <15 IU/mL). Results: SVR12 was achieved by 73 of 74 (98.6%) patients. No patients had virologic failure and one discontinued from the study after withdrawing consent. SVR12 rates were uniformly high across all patient subgroups. A total of 16 patients had nonstructural protein 5A resistance-associated substitutions at baseline (16/73, 22%), all of whom achieved SVR12. Adverse events (AEs) reported in >5% of patients were fatigue (6.8%), upper respiratory tract infection (5.4%), headache (5.4%), and nausea (5.4%). Thirteen patients (17.6%) reported drug-related AEs, two serious AEs occurred, and two patients discontinued treatment owing to an AEs. Conclusions: In this retrospective analysis, EBR/GZR administered for 12 weeks was well-tolerated and highly effective in Korean patients with HCV GT1b infection.

This study is to find out the nearest value to actual slope and the different value between measured slope and actual slope. Mas-hi method is used in 1 : 25,000 and Complementary method in 1 : 50,000. The findings which were compared with the value through field survey are as follows. ⅰ) According to map scales and measurements, the measured value is different. ⅱ) In Mas-hi method applied in Mil-Yang river basin, it is higher than the suryey value (as√6˚), in Complementary method is lower than the survey value (as√6˚) .
