放射線照射時 胎內白鼠의 口蓋形成期에 미치는 影響에 關한 實驗的 硏究

The author observed morphological change in palate development of rat embryo after irradiation of x-ray on the one side of the duplex uterus. The time-matings occured between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. and all females with copulation plugs at 8 a.m. were isolated and properly marked for evidence of copulation. The lower left abdomen of mothers were exposed to x-radiation on the 7 1/2th, 9 1/2th, 11 1/2th day of gestation, respectively 150, 250, 350, 500rads. At 18 1/2th day of post-conception, the pregnant females were dissected and the contents of the two uteri examined. The translucent sample by Alizarin red S stain were prepared. The results were as follows; 1. The result that groups irradiated by 250rads and 350rads made marked difference in comparison with the control group suggests the x-ray to be a inducing factor of cleft palate. 2. At 11 1/2th day of gestation, incidence of cleft palate induced by x-irradiation was highest. 3. Mortality showed the highest frequency at 7 1/2th day of gestation and tended to decrease in according to increasing of age. 4. Morphology of cleft palate induced by x-irradiation showed similarity in comparison with those induced by other factors having reported ever.

Digital Subtraction Radiography를 이용한 근관치료 후 골회복의 정량적평가에 관한 연구

This study was performed to prepare the quantitative method of judging the sensitive prognosis of chronic apical periodontitis as early as possible. The subjects were 25 cases with periapical radiolucencies of which were treated with endodontic treatment. Serial radiographs were taken by standardized method longitudinally. The density slice function of digital radiographic system were employed for quantitative and longitudinal assessment of the radiolucent area and the condensing osteitis simultaneously. Obtained results were as follows: 1. The amount of bone repair after endodontic treatment could be detected quantitatively by the density slice function of digital radiographic system. 2. Within the 6-week period after root canal filling, the prognosis could be evaluated by assessment both radiolucent area and condensing osteitis on digital radiographic system. 3. The pattern of bone repair showed peripheral type in most cases from the 6th week after root canal filling. 4. In longitudinal change, bone repair showed two patterns; the succeeding reduction of radiolucent area showing the increase of condensing osteitis in size till 6th week and following by static state or reduction tendency and the reduction following the initial increase of both areas. 5. Cases with pulpitis by trauma showed initial increase of condensing osteitis at 2nd week, marked reduction of radiolucent area and condensing osteitis at 6th week, and approximately normal bone state at 8th week after root canal filling.

오랜 가뭄 끝에 우리 양계산업에도 단비가 내렸다. 난가공공장이 국내 최초로 오산에 세워진 것이다. 그동안 양계산업이 불합리한 유통구조로 말미암아 생산자에게 막대한 피해를 주어왔고, 또한 GP센타, 계란처리 및 가공시설이 없어 계절소비에 따른 생산자 불이익과 소비자의 구매의욕을 크게 저하시켜 왔다는 것은 누구나 다 아는 사실이다. 이의 해결을 위해 양계업계 일각에서는 계열화의 필요성을 역설하고 그 시행을 각계에 촉구하기도 했으나, 우리의 실정으로는 선결되어야 할 문제점이 너무나 많아서 그것이 실현되기에는 아직도 요원하다 하겠다. 그러나 서울의 H사, 전북의 K사에서 GP센타를 설치하여 가동단계에 와있거나 상당히 현실화되고 있고, 대군 채란업자모임에서도 대규모의 GP센타를 설립키로 한 것은 매우 고무적인 일이다. 특히 7월부터 본격적으로 제품생산에 들어간 서울계란은 목마른 우리 채란양계인들에게 시원한 빗줄기를 선사해 줄것이 틀림없다.
