      • 복합 운동프로그램이 초등학생의 신체구성, 혈중지질 및 체력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of combined training on the changes of body composition, blood lipid profile and fitness in elementary school students. Thirty subjects participated in the present study. The subjects were divided into two groups either exercise group for 10weeks(15n) or control group for 10weeks(l5n) The results were described as follows; 1) There were significant differences in the body weight and lean body mass after the exercise program between two groups. 2) There were no significant differences in the blood TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, TG concentration after the exercise program between two groups. 3) There were significant differences in the sit-up and flexibility after the exercise group between two groups. In conclusion, it might be thought that the combined training improved the levels of body composition and health-related fitness in elementary subjects.

        유치와 영구치에 수복된 레진과 글라스 아이오노머 수복물의 미세누출 양상에 관한 비교연구

        The purpose of this study was to compare the microleakage pattern of glass ionomer with resin restoration in microleakage pattern of primary and permanent teeth. Micreoscopical observation of interface between tooth structure and restoration was also performed. 80 and 8 sound molar teeth were used for the microleakage test and SEM study respectively. Data were analyzed statistically using ANOVA test and/or t-Test. The results of the present study were as follows: 1. According to the result of microleakage pattern between primary and permanent tooth, primary tooth generally showed more microleakage than permanent tooth in all groups(p<.05). 2. In the resin-filled groups, occlusal margin was shown to have more micreliakage than gingival margin(p<.05). Whereas the glass ionomer-filled groups showed no statestically significant differences between them(p>.05). 3. No statistically significant differences in microleakage could be found between two different resin groups(p>.05). while FujiⅡ LC group showed less microleakage than Ketac-Fil group(p>.05). 4. The various type hybrid layer was evident under SEM in resin-filled groups both in primary and permanent teeth with generally thicker layer in primary group. Among glass-ionomer group, FujiⅡ LC group showed more intact adhesion to tooth surface than Ketac-Fil group.

        유약 영구 전치의 함입성 탈구에 관한 고찰과 치험례

        In the Pediatric Dentalc profession the occurrence rate intrusion of young permanent teeth is rather low, and the treatment method varies from one another. Intrusion of the teeth bring complications to the pulp and periodontal ligament, and thus the possibility of endodontic treatment increases. For the formation of calcific barriers, calcium hydroxide is used in young permanent teeth and this makes the final canal filling possible. In this case report, we will show two cases of young permanent teeth intrusion and the treatment methods to help assess the recognition of treatment for young permanent teeth intrusion.

      • Ultrasoft X선을 이용한 탄수화물분해효소를 고생산하는 Lipomyces Starkeyi 돌연변이 개발 및 특성 연구

        We have isolated a carbohydrase(dextranase and amylase; DXAMase) hyper-producing constitutive mutant from Lipomyces starkeyi JLC26 using ultrasoft X-ray irradiation obtained from Pohang accelerator laboratory(PAL). After partial purification of dextranase and amylase by membrane filtration, PEG, and DEAE-Sepharose column chromatography, the specific activities of amylase and dextranase were 3193 and 2822 unit/mg, respectively. The pH effects for activity and stability of both enzymes were similar to each other: Optimum pH and temperature for activity were at 5.5 and 50℃ and optimum ranges for stability were at pH 2.5-6.0 and 4-37℃, respectively. When the enzyme and maltotriose were reacted, glucose, maltose, isomaltose, maltotriose, panose and α (1→6) glucosylmaltotriose were produced by disproportionation reaction. When the enzyme and nigerose were reacted, glucose, nigerose, new product were produced.

      • 여자고등학교 한국무용수의 춤별 운동강도

        The purpose of this study is to compare the heart rate of Korean dancers who have been trained 6 hours a week for three years with that of general girl students who have never been experienced as an athlete and participated exercise programs regularly. We have studied the change of heart rate until the subject could no longer continue the treadmill exercise by the added velocity every 5 minutes. The following conclusions were obtained. 1. Observation of heart rate about regularity exercise intensity. 1) There was no difference of the heart rate between two groups during the first 5 minutes(3 mph) and 10 minutes(4 mph) of exercise. (p〉.05) 2) The difference of exercise intensity between two groups began to exhibited during 15 minutes (5 mph) of exercise. (p〈.001) 3) During the high-intensity exercise for 20 minutes (6 mph) and 25 minutes (7 mph), the difference of heart rate between two groups was low, but there was high in difference. (p〈.05) 4) The difference of heart rate between two groups in all-out condition for 30 minutes (8 mph) of exercise revealed that the motor skill of general group was superior to that of korean group. (p〈.001) 5) The heart rate recovery of general group was faster than that of korean dance following exercise. 2. Observation of exercise intensity in staging korean dance. 1) The exercise intensity sort of dances were Hwa Kwan Mu 50.4%, Sung Mu 55. 3%, Bu Ch'ae Ch'um 60.2%, O Buk Ch'um 66.7%, Kum Mu 68.3% and Mu Dang Ch'um 89%. 2) The maximum exercise intensity was 89% as a Mu Dang Ch'um. 3) The mean exercise intensity provided by general group for three years constantly was 65%.

      • 지역사회 발전을 위한 해양 레저스포츠 관광의 활성화 방안

        The purpose of this study is to clarify the reason why marine sports and leisures should be added to Boryoung Mud Festival, to find out the probable problems which would be resulted afterwards, and to find out the way to promote the existing festival events. The conclusions completed from many kinds of documents and data concerned are like these; First, to promote Boryung's tourist industry, much more sightseeing facilities that would help people take part in marine sports such as diving, fishing, wind surfing, yachting, jet-skiing, water-skiing should be supplied. And other amusement parks such as marine museums or water parks should be built to attract lots of tourists' attentions. Furthermore, the wharf that could make people conveniently land or board at Boryung must be built preferentially in order to popularize the marine sports & leisures.. Second, a large scale accommodations complex must be secured to win over a great number of tourists. These facilities must be large enough to accommodate more than 1000 people at once. To attract private capital to build these facilities, it is necessary that the city should support financial back up such as tax cut an construction. Third, marine sports & leisures tend to attract new tourists continuously and let them visit the places repeatedly. And these consumers have such characteristics that they would enjoy sports & leisures all the year round. So in order to satisfy their needs, more attractive, more impressive, and still more creative marine sports programs of Boryung's own must be developed, which can be developed for families or associations of like-minded persons. The present Mud Festival of Boryung is held at the place where tourists can not see the natural shore of an estuary. So there are some limitations to make people feel real mud festival and natural costal environment. Fourth, it is necessary that the Local Government Act should relax restrictions on possessory right permission in open waters and should relieve legal standards on leisure sports facilities. Through these actions, those who are engaged in leisure industry would be motivated to give much more wonderful and touching experiences to the tourists who will visit Boryung. Consequently it could be very helpful to develop the whole sports & leisures industry of Boryung.

      • Baculovirus Vector System에 의해 발현된 재조합 Pseudorabies Virus Major Capsid Protein의 면역원성

        The recombinant pseudorabies virus major capsid protein (rMCP) was produced by expression of the MCP gene in Sf-9 cell using baculovirus transfer vector system. Following evaluation of the immunochemical properties of the rMCP, the immunogenicity of the recombinant subunit protiens were investigated in guinea pig and swine to obtain the preliminary guide line for the subunit vaccine using rMCP and gP50. It was proved that ultrasonication and 30% ammonium sulfate was most efficient to concentrate and purify the protein. The rMCP was safe in mice, guinea pigs and piglets. In guinea pigs, rMCP mixed with various adjuvants induced substantial degree of serum neutralizing antibody titers, but revealed incomplete protecivity against challenge. In swine, the combination of rMCP and gP50 showed the higher serum neutralizing antibody titers and cellular immune responses than rMCP alone. However, the protectivity was lower in comparison with the commercial gI-deleted inactivated vaccine. We expect these results to contribute to characterization of MCP gene of Korean isolate of PRV and to ultilize as preliminary information for prodution and evaluation of PRV recombinant subunit vaccines.

      • 유산소 운동과 근력 강화 운동이 노인 당뇨병 환자에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of aerobic exercise and muscle strengthen exercise of elderly patients with type-Ⅱ diabetes mellitus. The subject for this study was twenty elderly patients with type-Ⅱ diabetes mellitus who didn't any problems of complications in participating in this study. Twenty elderly patients with type-Ⅱ diabetes mellitus, were randomly selected and divided into three groups, aerobic exercise group(n=7) and muscle strengthen exercise group(n=7) and control group(n=6). The experimental groups have been trained aerobic and muscle strengthen exercise. In the experimental groups both groups practiced exercise for 50min a day, 4times a week during 12weeks, while the control group did not participated related activities. The aerobic exercise was performed by using cycle ergometer. The muscle strengthen exercise was performed by using elastic band at the intensity of thera-band of yellow color for 1-4weeks, and red/blue color for 5-12weeks. All measured data were represented by mean and standard deviation using SPSS. The first statistical techniques for data analysis were univariate analysis of variance to analyze the difference between these group.

      • Human Cytomegalovirus 감염시 UL47 promoter 활성의 분석과 Escherichia coli에서 발현되는 UL47 단백질의 분석

        In order to study of HCMV(human cytomegalovirus) UL47 promoter activity, we have used the transient transfection assay method. We cloned the -20∼-325bp region to be expected as UL47 promoter part into the indicator plasmid which includes the β-glucuronidase gene. In the transient promoter activation experiment, the promoter activity was increased up to 48-fold in the HCMV(AD169 strain) infected cells. This result indicates that the viral infection is necessary for the UL47 promoter activation occurred in only late times. In order to express UL47 protein in Escherichia coli, we have cloned the N-terminal part(+1∼+818) of UL47 open reading frame(ORF) into pET14b vector. After transformed the cloned DNA(pET14b-UL47N) into BL21(DE3)pLysS, we identified the UL47 protein was expressed by IPTG(isopropyl β-D-thiogalactopyranoside) induction.
