        Objectives : Lumbar radiculopathy is a common disease in oriental rehabilitation medicine. It can be diagnosed by physical examination, plain X-ray, Myelography, CT, MRI, EMG etc. But those methods are not useful in observing the clinical procedure. Objectvie evaluating the clinical procedure is very important in treatment of lumbar radiculopathy. Mehthods : We studied the clinical efficacy of thermography in lumbar radiculopathy during conservative managements. We studied 36 patients with lumbar radiculopathy convinced by MRI. The had low back pain and radiating pain on one side. Thermography had taken before an after 4 weeks treatments, and compared with clinical procedure Results and conclusions : Thermography is not pertinent as a primary diagnostic method in lumbar radiculopathy, but useful in observing the clinical procedure. And it can be recommended as a objective evaluation for lumbar radiculopathy.

        디지털 치료기술 산업 육성에 따른 투자와 경제적 파급효과

        The digital treatment technology industry is one of the core fostering industries of the Moon Jae-in government along with the global trend. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the investment and economic ripple effect on the related industries. To this end, we used the industry-related table, which is the actual measurement data for 2015 that the Bank of Korea actually measured and released every 5 years in 2019. The digital treatment technology industry was not clearly classified within Korea’s industrial classification system, so the contents of the industry-related survey were analyzed, and the digital treatment technology industry was reclassified and then analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that the production induction effect of the digital treatment technology-related industry in 2015 was 1.770, the value-added induction effect was 0.875, and the employment induction effect was 19.128, which was higher than that of other industries in Korea. As a result of the analysis of the economic ripple effect (scenario 1), the production inducing effect was about 370 billion won, the added value inducing effect was about 185 billion won, and the employment inducing effect was 4,044 people. The results of this study are expected to play a large role in economic revitalization as the effect of inducing production, increasing employment, and creating added value through fostering the digital treatment technology industry is expected to play a large role in activating the economy. It is expected to play a large role in providing central medical services. Therefore, it is expected that policy support for revitalizing the digital treatment technology industry through active investment support and tax benefits from the government to foster the digital treatment technology industry is necessary.

      • 제초제(propanil. butachlor) 저항성 잡초 선발 방법에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to develop a simple selection method for herbicide-resistance weeds. Two methods, designated "seedling method" and "stem node method" were employed for screening of barnyardgrass against propanil and butachlor. In the seedling method, shoot and root growth of barnyardgrass were significantly inhibited at quarter of the recommended herbicide rate, while in the stem node method, the similar inhibition was obtained at half of the recommended rate. Thus, it was concluded that the seedling method is more simple and quick method to evaluate response of barnyardgrass to propanil and butachlor compared to stem node method.

      • 산화물 초전도체 Bi₂Sr₂Ca_(1-x)Nd_(x)Cu₂O_(8+δ)의 반사스펙트럼에 관한 연구

        고상반응법 (solid-state reaction method)으로 산화물 초전도체 Bi₂Sr₂Ca₁xNdxCu₂O_(B)+δ(0≤X≤0.8)시료를 제조하여, 200~3200 ㎚의 영역에서 반사스펙트럼을 측정하고, KK분석을 통하여 실수유전율, 흡수계수, 에너지 손실함수 등을 구하였다. 반사스펙트럼에서 나타난 MIR 밴드는 치환량 X가 증가함에 따라 고에너지 쪽으로 이동하였으며. 에너지 손실함수의 피크는 치환량 X가 증가함에 따라 저에너지 쪽으로 이동하는 것이 관찰되었다. MIR영역에서의 실수 유전율은 치환량 X가 증가함에 따라 그 값이 음에서 양으로 증가함을 알 수 있었다. The Bi₂Sr₂Ca₁, Nd_(x)Cu₂Ox8 6 (0≤x≤0.8) samples were prepared using the solid-state reaction method. The optical reflectivity spectra of these samples were measured in the range from 200 to 3200 nm at the room temperature. The real part of the dielectric constant, the absorption coefficient, and the energy loss function were obtained from the reflectivity spectra through the KK(E;ramers-Kronig) analysis. It was observed that the MIR band shifts to the high energy side and the energy loss peak to the low energy side with increasing x content. We found that the real part of the dielectric constant in the MIR region changes from the negative to the positive with increasing x content.

        광주광역시 치매의 유병률과 위험인자의 도시-농촌 지역 비교

        연구목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 광주광역시의 도시 및 농촌 지역에 거주하는 노인에서 치매의 유병률과 위험인자를 조사하고자 하였다. 부가적으로 이 두 지역간에 치매의 유병률과 위험인자를 비교하고자 하였다. 방 법 : 광주광역시의 전형적인 도시와 농촌지역의 65세 이상의 노인(N=1,598)을 대상으로, 2단계의 역학연구를 수행하였다. 1차 선별 단계에서는 38명의 훈련된 연구보조원이 대상노인을 면담하여, 사회인구학적 특징을 조사하고 한국판 간이정신상태검사(Korean version of Mini-Mental State Examination ; MMSE-K)로 평가하였다. 2차 임상 진단 단계에서는 1차 단계에서 MMSE-K 점수가 24점 이하인 노인(N=431)을 대상으로, 전문연구팀의 임상적 평가를 통해 치매를 진단하고 원인질환별로 알쯔하이머병(Alzheimer's disease ; AD), 혈관성 치매(vascular dementia ; VaD) 및 기타 치매로 분류하였다. 대상노인에서 치매의 유병률을 측정한 후, 광주광역시 전체 노인의 연령보정 유병률을 산출하였다. 전체 대상에서 AD의 위험인자를 조사한 후, 도시와 농촌군으로 나누어 분석을 다시 시행하였다. 결 과 : 1차 및 2차 단계의 참가율은 각각 71.0%(N=1,134) 및 83.2%(N=410) 였다. 연구 참여 노인(N=1,134)에서 전체 치매, AD 및 VaD의 유병률은 최소 각각 9.7%, 5.2%, 1.8%였다. 광주광역시 전체 노인의 연령 보정 유병률은 각각 10.7%, 5.7%, 1.9%인 것으로 산출되었다. AD의 독립 위험인자는 고령, 여성, 무학이었다. 도시와 농촌에 따른 유병률의 차이는 파악되지 않았다. 그러나 AD의 위험인자는 지역에 따라 차이가 있었다. 도시 노인에게는 무학만이, 농촌 노인에게는 고령과 여성인 경우가 독립 위험인자였다. 결 론 : 광주광역시 노인에서 치매의 유병률은 높았고, 이는 국내 다른 지역에서 수행된 선행연구 결과와 유사하였다. 알쯔하이머형 치매의 위험인자는 도시와 농촌에 따라 다른 결과를 보였다. 본 연구 결과는 한국에서의 치매의 실태를 반영하며, 치매의 적절한 관리와 예방을 위해서는 지역성 특성이 고려되어야 함을 시사한다. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence rate and risk factors of dementia in an urban and a rural sample of older persons in the metropolitan Kwangju area, Republic of Korea. In addition, the prevalence rate and risk factors of dementia between the two samples were compared. Methods : A two-phase epidemiological study of residents aged 65 or over(N=1,598) was conducted in a highly developed, urban and a non-contiguous, poorly developed, rural area of metropolitan Kwangju. In the first(screening) phase, 38 trained research assistants collectively peformed in-home interviews for all participants. Detailed sociodemographic characteristics were gathered and the Korean version of Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE-K) was administered. In the second (diagnosing) phase, diagnosis of dementia was established for those scoring 24 or less on the MMSE-K in the screening phase(N=431), and etiological types of dementia were classified to Alzheimer's disease(AD), vascular dementia(VaD) or miscellanous type by two teams of experts. Prevalence rate of dementia was determined in the participants, and age-standardized prevalence rate adjusted by age distribution in metropolitan Kwangju was estimated. For AD, the risk factors were investigated in all participants, and analyses were repeated for the urban and rural samples separately. Results : The participating rates in the first and second phases were 71.0%(N=1,134) and 83.2%(N=410), respectively. In the participants, the prevalence rates of dementia(all types), AD and VaD were 9.7%, 5.2% and 1.8%, respectively. The age-standardized prevalence rates were 10.7%, 5.7% and 1.9%, respectively. Aging, female gender and no education(complete lack of formal education) were identified as independent risk factors for AD. No difference between the urban and rural samples was observed in the prevalence rates of dementia(all types), AD and YaD. However, risk factors for AD differed between these areas. In the urban sample, no education was the only significant factor ; whereas, aging and female gender were identified as risk factors in the rural sample. Conclusion : A high prevalence rate of dementia was observed among old persons in metropolitan Kwangju, consistent with previous studies conducted in other Korean areas. The risk factor profi1es for AD differed between urban and rural settings. The results of this study reflect the current status of dementia in Korea and suggests that appropriate management and prevention strategies for dementia should be tailored toward the geographic settings.

      • 구리의 전기석출시 젤라틴이 물성에 미치는 영향

        In the electrodeposition of copper foil for preparing printed circuit boards, a little amount of gelatin as a addition agent has been used for the better characteristics of a coat of electroplating. Gelatin modifies the physical properties such as mechanical strength, matte-side roughness, ultimate tensile strength(U.T.S), and elongation of copper foil, furthermore gelatin have influence on the structure of electrodeposits and the cathode polarization. The electrolyte used was of a composition; CuSO₄·5H₂O 300g/ℓ, H₂SO₄ 100g/ℓ, NaCl 10 ppm as a brightner, and was gelatin 0-7 ppm as a addition agent. Current density was 50 A/dm², and the temperature of electrolytic bath was 50 to 52 ℃. Experiments showed that the optimum gelatin concentration was 5 ppm with the consideration of the numbers of electrodeposited nuclei. And the nuclei numbers was sharply increased under 5 ppm, but was almostly constant above 5ppm. Average matte-side roughness by Surfcorder was gradually increased with the increasing gelatine concentration up to 2 ppm, and maximum roughness was observed at 2ppm. The roughness showed gradual decrease within the concentration range of 2 to 4 ppm, and was almost constant above 4ppm . Within the gelatine concentration range of 0 to 7 ppm, as the concentration increased, UTS was increased and elongation was decreased logarithmically. Also, in comparison between UTS and elongation, gelatin was identified as an addition agent acting inversely.

      • 초피나무 樹皮의 脂質成分에 관한 硏究

        초피나무 樹皮에 含有된 一般成分과 脂質成分의 構成 및 脂肪酸의 組成을 分析한 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 一般分析値는 水分이 61.09%, 組蛋白質이 12.18%, 組脂質이 5.89%, 조섬유가 11.66%, 회분이 9.18%였다. 2. 脂肪質의 構成은 中性脂質이 64.77%, 糖脂質이 27.2%, 燐脂質이 7.58%였고, 中性脂質成分은 hydrocarbon, esterified sterol, triglyceride, free fatty acid, free sterol diglyceride 및 monoglyceride의 成分으로 分離 同定하였다. 3. GC에 의하여 7가지 脂肪酸이 檢出되었는데 주요 脂肪酸은 palmitoleic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid의 不飽和 脂肪酸이었고, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid의 飽和脂肪酸은 소량 含有되어 있었다. The lipid components and fatty acid composition of crude lipid in bark of Xanthoxylum piperitum were determined by the methods of thin layer chromatography and gas liquid chromatography. The results were summerized as follows: 1. Proximate components of the bark were shown to be 61.09% moisture, 12.18% crude protein 5.89% crude lipid, 11.66% crude fiber, 9.18% ash. 2. Lipid components were 64.77% neutral lipid, 27.2% glycolipid and 7.58% phospholipid The neutral lipids were fractionated and identified as hydrocarbons, esterified sterols, triglycerides free fatty acid, free sterols, diglycerides and monoglycerides. 3. Lipids of the bark of X. piperitum contained 7kinds of fatly acid as constituent by gas liquid chromatography anlysis. The main fatty acides in the lipids were unsaturated fatty acids(palmitoleic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid), and saturated fatty acids(myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid) were as minor components.

      • 무수치 표백시 표백제의 성분에 따른 표백효과 및 근관내 이장재의 위치에 따른 치근부누출에 대한 실험적 연구

        The purposes of this study were to compare the bleaching efficacy of sodium perborate when mixed either with Superoxol or distilled water and to evaluate the efficacy of different location of intracoronal base on the presence of apical leakage of tested bleaching agents. Forty eight extracted human permanent incisors were stained via whole blood and canal fillings with conventional gutta percha were performed after routine biomechanical preparations. The experimental intracoronal base was placed either at the cementoenamel junction(group 3, 4) or 2㎜ below cementoenamel junction(group 1, 2). Walking bleaching was performed by two different combinations of bleaching agents ; sodium perborate with distilled water in group 1, 3 and sodium perbrate with Superoxol in group 2, 4. The roots of the teeth were evaluated for the presence of color change to assess the leakage of bleaching agents and the cervical one-thirds of the crowns were evaluated for bleaching effect from the Whiteness Index calculated by spectrophotometer. The results were as follows 1. At the end of 12 days, all the sample teeth demonstrated the increase of Whiteness Index at cervical 1/3 of crown although there were some minor differences among groups. 2. Regardless of location of the base, sodium perborate with superoxol(group 2, 4) showed better results in bleaching than the sodium perborate with distilled water(group 1, 3). 3. Bleaching agent leaked into the root area when the base was placed 2㎜ below cementoenamel junction but no leakage was found when the base was placed at the cementoenamel junction.
