        김재민 한국교원대학교 통일교육연구소 2008 統一敎育硏究 Vol.7 No.-

        다음 글은 현대중공업 경영기획실 부장으로 근무하고 있는 김재민 박사의 북한 방문기이다. 2007년 12월 14일부터 19일까지 5일간의 일정으로 북한에 대한 조선공업의 지원을 위한 방문의 일환으로 이루어진 글이며 북한의 중심지 평양과 북한의 주요 해안 지역들을 살펴 본 결과로서 가장 최근의 북한의 상황에 대한 생생한 기록이라 할 수 있다. 이 자료들은 현장의 통일교육과 북한지역연구 등에 귀중한 참고가 될 것으로 판단되어 김재민 박사의 글을 싣는다. 특히 북한의 경제, 공업, 북한의 지리 등에 대한 좋은 자료가 될 것이며, 중등학교 수업에서 잘 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 김재민 박사는 한국외국어대 독일어과를 졸업하고(1978년), 연세대학교에서 경영학 석사학위를 취득하고(1981년), 한국생산성본부, 산업연구원(KIET) 등에서 연구원으로 근무한 뒤 독일 함부르그 분데스베르(Hamburg Bundeswehr) 대학에서 경영학 박사학위를 취득(1995년)한 후 현재 현대중공업 경영기획실 부장으로 근무하고 있는,한국의 대표적인 조선공업기획의 전문가이다.

        EPP and Case in Locative Inversion

        This paper is concerned with EPP and Case realization in Locative Inversion constructions of English. It is argued that the inverted locative phrase itself satisfies EPP, and the preposition in the fronted PP is the Case realization. To support them, we have used the examples of Chichewa, Korean, and other Dravidian languages. One step further, the DP after V in Locative Inversion constructions has Partative case in LF. This analysis can explain Agreement and Question formation satisfactorily with some pragmatic principles together.

        경찰의 소년범 다이버전 정책에 관한 고찰 - 회복적 사법 이념의 반영 가능성을 중심으로 -

        Police, as the gate-keeper of criminal justice, could deal with various juvenile crimes in the field. In those cases, it is very critical how police would response to the young offenders because police decision may give a life-long negative impact on them. That is just why the police diversion should be introspected in the course of treating juvenile crimes. Recently, Korean Police Agency has introduced a few diversion policy into juvenile justice system such as ‘Professional Involvement System’,‘Conditional Booking System’ and ‘Family Group Conferencing’ in the phase of police response against young offenders. These systems are closely related with the restorative justice. The growing concern for restorative justice in recent years reflect a dissatisfaction with the traditional criminal justice. To prevent not only young offenders from committing a second offense but also victims from suffering revictimization, the ideology of restorative justice should be reflected on the juvenile justice. Police organization should try to induce the procedural ideology of restorative justice into his juvenile diversion system, such as Inclusion, Balance of interest, Voluntary practices,Problem solving orientation. Additionally, for the development of police diversion policy, a few suggestions as it is following should be realized : Firstly, the legal ground of police diversion must be established. Secondly, the professionals and local community groups should participate actively in the police diversion program. Thirdly, the diversion program should be managed by the police who has the balancing and respectful attitude toward all partners.

        Formalism vs. Functionalism: which one is better?

        The Linguistic Association of Korea Journal, 16(4), 267-282. Though functional analyses of grammatical phenomena are appealing to those who believe that integrated analyses are mush explanatory power, it is true that they are immensely influenced from formal theories. Also, because there are many different kinds of functional approaches we have tried to categorize them. Differently from other linguists, I have categorized them into four groups: formal and sentence-level(FSF), mixed and sentence-level(MSF), typological(TF), and discourse-level functionalism(DF). I think TF and DF cannot be compared with formalism because their targets of explanation are different. For FSF and formalism, though they look very apart from each other superficially, I think there is no fundamental incompatibility in their central tenets. And I am quite pessimistic that any insightful bridge will ever be cast between MSF and formalism. I think it is the best for a linguist to follow his scientific temperament.

        Mycoplasma가 오염된 배양 각막상피 세포의 FAS 유도 세포고사의 민감성

        The aim of the present study was to determine mechanisms of corneal epithelial cell apoptosis in vitro following exposure to anti-FAS and anti-FAS ligand antibody and during infection with mycoplasma sp.. A cultured human corneal epithelial(HCE) cell line was treated with anti- FAS antibody or anti- FAS ligand antibody for 2 and 4 days. The original cell line was found to be contaminated by mycoplasma removal agent(MRA) was used to eliminate the bacterium from the cell line. MRA(0.5㎕ tissue culture medium) was added to the cell line and incubated for 1 week. The cell line underwent multiple passages in media not contaminating MRA and cells were grown to 50-80% confluency on coverslips and stained using the Hoechst stain provided in the kit to ensure mycoplasma removal. Apoptosis experiments were performed before and after mycoplasma removal. The apoptotic index of anti-FAS and anti-FAS ligand antibody on mycoplasma contaminated cell line was studied using Hoechst 33342 staining and Annexin V-FITC and Propidium Iodide Staining. In conclusion, anti-FAS antibody induces apoptosis in HCE cells in a time and concentration- dependent mechanism. Cell lines contaminated with mycoplasma have an incresed susceptibility to FAS induced apoptosis. 본 연구는 mycoplasma가 오염된 배양 각막 상피세포에 anti-FAS and anti-FAS ligand antibody를 노출시킨 후 세포고사 메커니즘을 조사하기 위해 시행하였다. 배양각막 상피세포에 anti- FAS antibody와 anti- FAS ligand antibody를 2 일과 4 일 동안 처리하여 주어진 기간 동안 배양하였다. 배양 중인 각막상피세포가 mycoplasma sp.에 의해 오염된 것이 밝혀졌다. mycoplasma removal agent(MRA)가 세포주로부터 세균을 제거하기 위해 이용되었다. MRA를 세포주에 첨가하여 1주일 동안 배양하였다. 그 후 각막상피 세포주는 MRA가 포함되지 않는 배양액에서 수세대 동안 배양되어 커버글라스에 계대배양하여 50-80% 채워졌을 때 MRA 제거여부를 확인하기 위한 검사 키트에 제공된 Hoechst staining을 이용하여 염색하였다. 세포고사 실험은 MRA 제거 전과 제거 후에 시행되었다. mycoplasma가 오염된 배양 각막상피세포에 대한 anti-FAS and anti-FAS ligand antibody의 영향을 알아보기 위해 Hoechst 33342 staining과 Annexin V-FITC and Propidium Iodide Staining을 이용하여 세포고사 유도를 확인하였다. 본 연구는 anti-FAS antibody가 배양각막 상피세포에서 시간과 농도에 비례하는 메커니즘으로 세포고사를 유도한다. mycoplasma가 오염된 세포주는 FAS 유도 세포고사의 민감성을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다.

        Etching Behavior of Pb Ion from PbO-B2O3-SiO2 Glasses in HNO3 Solution

        Quantitative studies on the dissolution of Pb in an acid solution were conducted to understand the etching mechanism in PbO-SiO2-B2O3 glasses. In this study, the etching was done on bulk glasses of a PbO-SiO2- B2O3 system with a HNO3 solution at 40 °C, and the surface structure of the glasses and ion dissolution behavior were analyzed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman spectrophotometer, and inductive coupled plasma spectrometry, respectively. The results showed that Pb (1.5-5.5 %) and B (0.8-3 %) ions are the major components etched. Small amounts of Si, Al, Ti, and Zr were detected in the etching solution. The analysis of O1s in the XPS peaks showed that the ratio of non-bridging oxygen (NBO) to bridging oxygen (BO) changed from 1:2.7 to 1:0.6 after leaching with the HNO3 solution. The Si-O-Pb and Si-O-Si bindings on the glass surface appeared to be a silicon-rich region where Si-O binding occurs after etching.
