        계룡산 상부 지역의 산림식생

        본 연구는 계룡산 국립공원내 해발 650m이상의 산림 식생을 대상으로 식물사회학적 방법으로 산림군락을 분류하여 계룡산 국립공원 관리에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 계룡산 상부지역의 총 51개 조사구를 분석한 결과, 산림군락은 신갈나무군락, 서어나무군락, 소나무군락 및 굴참나무군락으로 구분되었다. 신갈나무군락은 29개 조사구에서 나타났으며, 군락 구분종은 신갈나무, 좁은단풍, 천남성, 용수염, 은분취 이다. 서어나무군락은 10개 조사구에서 나타났으며, 군락 구분종은 서어나무, 까치박달, 층층나무, 대사초, 산수국이다. 소나무군락은 7개 조사구에서 나타났으며, 군락 구분종은 소나무, 조록싸리, 산딸기, 참억새, 이삭여뀌, 맑은대쑥, 큰기름새이다. 굴참나무군락은 5개 조사구에서 나타났으며, 군락 구분종은 굴참나무이다. The purpose of this study was to understand plant community structure in upper zone of Gyeryongsan National Park. Total 51 plots were set up and surveyed for this study. The fifty one plots were classified into four communities such as Quercus mongolica community, Carpinus laxiflora community, Pinus densiflora community, and Quercus variabilis community. The Quercus mongolica community were found in 29 plots of the 51 plots and the differential species in the community were Quercus mongolica, Acer pseudosieboldianum var. koreanum, Arisaema amurense var. serratum, Diarrhena japonica, and Saussurea gracilis. The Carpinus laxiflora community were found in 10 plots of the 51 plots and the differential species in the community were Carpinus laxiflora, Carpinus cordata, Cornus controversa, Carex siderosticta, and Hydrangea serrata for. acuminata. The Pinus densiflora community were found in 7 plots of the 51 plots and the differential species in the community were Pinus densiflora, Lespedeza maximowiczii, Rubus crataegifolius, Miscanthus sinensis, Persicaria faliforme, Artemisia keiskeana, and Spodiopogon sibiricus. The Quercus variabilis community were found in 5 plots of the 51 plots and the differential species in the community were Quercus variabilis.

        Lactating breasts are generally known to provide limited information because of the markedly proliferated glandular tissue similar to dense breasts. We analyzed the mammographic findings of 15 women in lactating states and compared to the mammographic findings of 15 normal women and 15 women with dense breasts. Mammography of lactating breasts showed its own characteristic prominent lobulation. However, trabeculation and general glandular density are not significantly different from dense breasts. This results in the same limitation with dense breasts in radiological diagnosis. Mammographic evaluation during lactation should be deferred unless otherwise justified.

      • 마늘 잼의 저장과정 중 성상변화

        In order to make a functional jam containing garlic, sugar, acid and pectin were mixed with garlic and concentrated by heating the mixture under atmosphere or vacuum conditions. And changes of some physico-chemical properties of the garlic jam(i.e., color, textural properties, vitamin C) were investigated during storage at 30℃. It was found that lightness(L) was higher in sample of vacuum concentration than that in atmosphere concentration and redness(a) and yellowness(b) were higher in sample of atmosphere concentration. During the storage lightness was found to decrease for all samples with more drastic decrease in sample of atmosphere concentration where browning was more severely observed after 8 weeks of storage. In terms of textural properties, hardness, chewiness and gumminess were higher in sample of atmosphere concentration than that in vacuum concentration. And springiness and cohesiveness were higher in sample of vacuum concentration. Although sensory score for garlic jam found to be lower than that for the existing strawberry jam, the present garlic jam might have high marketability if considering its physiological value. 마늘을 이용한 기능성 잼을 제조하기 위하여 마늘에 당, 산, 펙틴을 첨가하고 평압과 감압에서 농축하여 마늘잼을 제조한 후 색도, 조직특성을 조사하고 30℃에서 저장하면서 색도, 조직의 변화, 비타민 C의 변화를 측정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 원료마늘의 일반성분은 수분 57.2%, 탄수화물 23.6%, 조단백 1.9%, 조지방 0.75%, 회분0.93%이었고 비타민 C는 8.4 mg/l00g이었다. 명도는 진공농축한 것이 평압농축한 것보다 높았고 적색도와 황색도는 평압의 것이 높았다. 저장기간에 따라 명도는 모두 감소하였으나 평압에서 농축한 것이 감압보다 크게 감소하였으며 갈변화가 저장 8주에는 심하게 나타났다. 마늘잼의 조직특성은 hardness, chewiness, gumminess는 평압농축이 감압농축에 비하여 높았고 springiness, cohesiveness는 평압농축이 낮았다. 마늘잼의 기호성은 딸기잼에 비하여 떨어지지만 기능성을 감안할 때 시장성이 매우 높을 것으로 판단한다.

        This study was conducted to investigate the pasting properties of waxy corn ‘Ilmichal’ during ripening with different sowing date. Starch content of Ilmichal was increased as matured (p<0.05). Analysis of pasting properties with waxy corn starch using a rapid visco analyser (RVA) showed linear changes in peak viscosity, trough viscosity, final viscosity, breakdown and consistency according to ripening. There were significantly positive correlation between starch content of Ilmichal and peak viscosity (0.39*), trough viscosity (0.58***), final viscosity (0.58***), and consistency (0.57**). Differential scanning calorimerty (DSC). The enthalpy of gelatinization was increased as ripening. But onset and peak temperature were decreased. There were significantly positive correlation between starch content of Ilmichal and onset temperature (0.44*), peak temperature (0.38*), and completion temperature (0.59***), on the other hand, crude protein content presented significantly negative correlation between completion temperature (-0.41*).

      • 자연체험놀이를 통한 환경교육이 아동의 지식·기능·태도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to find out the effectiveness of the nature game in environmental education at an elementary school and make suggestions for further improvement. While the nature game was applied to the experimental group, the control group was taught with the traditional teaching methods focused on a teacher's lecture. To analyze the effectiveness of nature game on environmental education, the pre- and post-test for children's knowledge, function and attitude about environment were applied to both groups. Their scores were not significantly different(p>0.05) to both groups in terms of the pre-test. However, the post-test scores of the experiment group showed higher than the control group (p<0.05). This result indicates that teaching environmental education through the nature game is more effective than a traditional teaching method with teacher's lecture. Consequently, we are urgently requested to develop systematical teaching materials in environmental education. The goal of environmental education can be achieved by providing the significance of teaching materials should be recognized.

        6 시그마 기법을 이용한 임상약동학 자문 업무의 효율성 개선 : 신속성과 정확성을 중심으로 Focusing on Speed and Accuracy of CPS

        연구 배경 : 적정한 약물요법을 순발력 있게 시행하기 위해서는 CPS 업무가 신속, 정확하게 수행되는 것이 필수적임에도 불구하고 지금까지 CPS 업무의 신속성, 정확성을 향상시키기 위한 객관적인 업무 표준은 물론 그의 측정까지도 전무한 실정이었다. 이에 수요자인 의사의 측면에서, CPS 자문결과의 신임도에 영향을 미치는 업무의 순발력과 정확성을 향상시키기 위해 CPS 업무의 신속성, 정확성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악, 분석하고 이를 향상시킬 수 있는 업무 표준을 개발하는 것을 목표로 6-Sigma 기법을 사용하여 본 연구를 진행하였다. 방 법 : CPS 업무의 신속성 평가를 위해 전체 업무 과정과 부분별 업무 과정에 대한 소요 시간을 측정하였고, 정확한 평가를 위해 예측되는 Cpeak와 실제 측정된 Cpeak를 비교하였다. CPS 업무에 대해 6-Sigma 기법을 사용하여 개선이 필요한 사항을 파악하고 이에 대한 개선활동을 한 후, 개선 활동 전과 후의 CPS 업무의 신속성과 정확성의 σ 수준을 각각 측정하여 이의 향상 정도를 잠재적인 경제적 이익으로 환산하였다. 결 과 : 신속성은 제 1차 자료수집 기간(대조군, 현황 파악 기간) 중 총 소요시간은 평균 930.6±583.2이었으며, 채혈-검체 접수 : 140.4±8705분, 검체접수-약물농도 결과보고: 48.4±23.1분, 결과보고-CPS 보고서 작성 : 741.8±510.6분으로 측정되었다. σ 수준은 총 소요시간의 경우는 0.56σ, 단계별로는 각각 0.45σ, 5.70σ, 0.30σ이었다. 제 2차 자료수집 기간(개선군, 개선활동 평가 기간) 중 총 소요시간은 평균 659.1±344.1분이었고 단계별로는 각각 92±66.2분, 48±28.0분, 518.9±340.7분이 소요되었다. σ 수준은 총 소요시간은 1.75σ이고, 단계별로는 1.32σ, 4.70 σ, 1.10σ로서 총 소요시간과 단계별 소요시간이 1차 자료수집기간에 비해 향상되었다. 정확성 측면에서는, 대조군의 경우, 예측 Cpeak와 실측 Cpeak의 차이는 평균은 0%, 분산 ±27.10%, σ 수준은 -0.56σ이었고 개선군의 평균과 분산 그리고 σ 수준은 각각 0%, ±15.10%, 0.14σ로 향상되었다. CPS 신속성, 정확성 향상으로 인한 경제적 이익은 정확성 측면에서 380만원/년, 신속성 측면에서 1350만원/년으로 총 1730만원/년의 비용절감 효과가 있었다. 결 론 : CPS 업무 흐름에 따라 CPS 효율성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과 CPS 효율성 향상을 위해서는 투약관련 의무 기록의 정확성, 임상병리 검사의 정도관리 향상, 그리고 관련 부서와의 원활한 업무 협조가 가장 중요하였다. The effectiveness of CPS (Clinical Pharmacokinetics Service), one of pharmacist's clinical services, was emphasized by many studies since 1985 it was introduced Korea about. But in the view of clinicians (medical doctors), customers, it's convenience or reliability was not properly evaluated for applying it to patient's care. To improve quality of Clinical Pharmacokinetics Service (CPS), the speed and the accuracy of CPS, the key points of efficiency in CPS, were evaluated by using 6-Sigma method. The speed of CPS was evaluated using total hours it took from blood sampling by a nurse to sending a CPS report to the patient's chart by a clinical pharmacist. Total hours were divided into blood sampling-to-sampling registering, sampling registering-to-C_(peak) result reporting, and C_(peak) result reporting-to-pharmacist's CPS report. The accuracy of CPS was evaluated by the difference between expected C_(peak) and measured C_(peak). Then the speed and the accuracy of CPS were expressed as σ level. After the campaign for improvement by Six Sigma method, the speed was improved by 1.19σ (before and after the campaign; 0.56σand 1.75σ, respectively) and the accuracy was improved by 0.7σ (before and after the campaign, -0.56σand 0.14σ, respectively). Exact recordings of dosing time, drug infusion hours and blood sampling time were shown to have profound effect on the accuracy of CPS. The improvement in the speed and the accuracy of CPS could produce potential financial benefit of U.S.$ 15,300 a year. There have not been studies on evaluating and objectifying as numerical value for the speed and the accuracy of CPS; thus, 6-Sigma method for improving efficiency in manufacturing process was applied to CPS process by expressing as σlevel. The speed and the accuracy of CPS could be improved by tightly controlling many factors related to CPS efficiency.

        홍국 풀을 이용한 김치 제조 및 품질 특성

        Kimchi was prepared with the addition of 2.5% and 5.0% Monascus purpureus koji(MPK) paste (20%) and were fermented at 20C for 18 days. The quality and sensory characteristics of the kimchi were evaluated by analyzing the pH, acidity, number of viable cells, the concentration of reducing sugar, and sensory properties during fermentation. The pH and titratable acidity of the kimchi prepared with MPK(MPK kimchi) were higher and lower, respectively, than those of the control kimchi. The MPK kimchi showed high 'L' and 'b' values during storage, but the 'a' values were low. The contents of the reducing sugar of the MPK kimchi tended to increase during fermentation, particularly after six days. The number of total microbial cells, lactic acid bacteria and yeast in the MPK kimchi were lower than those of the control kimchi until 3 days of fermentation. However, the number of these bacteria in the MPK kimchi and the control kimchi after six days of fermentation was similar. The sensory score of the kimchi with 2.5% and 5.0% added MPK paste were significantly higher than the control groups in terms of the sweetness and overall acceptability.

        시화호의 계절변화에 따른 지화학적 환경요인 특성 연구

        Seasonal variation of biogeochemical characteristics was determined in Lake Shihwa from October 2002 to August 2003. When the lake was artificially constructed for the freshwater reservoir in 1988, the development of the strong haline density stratification resulted in two-layered system in water column and hypoxic/anoxic environment prevailed in the bottom layer due to oxidation of accumulated organic matters in the lake. Recently, seawater flux to the lake through the sluice has been increased to improve water quality in the lake since 2000, but seasonal stratification and hypoxic bottom layer of the lake still developed in the summer due to the nature of artificially enclosed lake system. As the lake is still receiving tremendous amount of organic matters and other pollutants from neighboring streams during the rainy summer season, limited seawater flux sluicing into the lake may not be enough for the physical and biogeochemical mass balance especially in the summer. The excess of accumulated organic matters in the bottom layer apparently exhausted dissolved oxygen and affected biogeochemical distributions and processes of organic and inorganic compounds in the stratified two-layered environment in the summer. During the summer, ammonia and dissolved organic carbon remarkably increased in the bottom layer due to the hypoxic/anoxic condition in the bottom layer. Phosphate also increased as the result of benthic flux from the bottom sediment. Meanwhile, dissolved organic carbon showed the highest value at the upstream area and decreased along the salinity gradient in the lake. In addition to the sources from the upstream, autochthonous origin of particulate organic carbon from algal bloom in the lake might be more important for sustaining aggravated water quality and development of deteriorated bottom environment in the summer. The removal of trace metals could be attributed to scavenging by strong insoluble metal-sulfide compounds in the hypoxic/anoxic bottom layer in the summer.
