불교생태론을 다시 생각한다

우리는 오늘날 생명파괴 ․ 생태위기에 직면해 있다. 이러한 현실에 응답하여 새로운 대안문명의 건설을 제안하는 생태철학이 다양하게 등장하는데, 불교생태론은 그 중 가장 생명력있는 생태론의 하나라고 생각된다. 이 논문은 불교생태론의 사유틀을 재음미하여 그 약한 고리를 더 굳게 하는 것을 겨냥한다. 생태문제는 생태문제만의 것은 아니다. 그것은 정치, 경제 및 사회의 구조와 관계있다. 그리고 그것은 이론과 실천이 만나는 ‘생태지혜’로 나아가야한다. 이 논문은 먼저 상호의존적, 관계망적, 유기체적, 시스템적, 전일적 세계관인 불교의 ‘연기론’이 가지는 중중무진, 사사무애하는 융섭의 세계관을 살피고, 그 원융무애 광대무변하는 화엄의 사유틀을 바탕으로 불교의 실천철학인 자비의 윤리학의 의미를 다시 고찰한다. 여기서는 불교에서 말하는 ‘중생’에 대한 ‘동체자비’는 과연 인간만을 대상으로 하는가, 아니면 생명을 가진 유정인 생물 일반까지를 대상으로 하는가, 더 나아가 무생물까지 확대되는가를 살펴본다. 동체자비가 현대의 생태생명철학으로서 그 의미를 가지기 위해서는 대상에 대한 존경과 자비, 섬김과 모심이 우주의 삼라만상에까지 확대되어야 한다. 무비스님은 불교를 ‘인불사상(人佛思想)’으로 해석하고 이것을 ‘만물만사즉불사상(萬物萬事卽佛思想)’으로까지 확대한다. 불교의 연기와 자비, 상호의존과 상호존중의 생태철학이 대단히 소중한 생명력을 품고 있다하더라도 더 큰 호소력을 가지고 위해서는 불교가 가진 빈틈을 보완해야 한다. 현실 불교의 약점은 바로 자본주의라는 구체적인 사회체제에 대한 반성의 부재이다. 욕망의 제어와 절제, 무소유를 주장하는 불교의 실천윤리는 자본에 의해 조장되고 왜곡되는 자본주의적 욕망구조에 대한 분석을 통해서만 현실적 의미를 지니게 된다. 자비심도 무한경쟁을 요구하는 신자유주의 앞에서 어떤 힘을 발휘할 수 있는지도 검토해야 한다. 결국 영성과 사회성이 결합할 수 있는 길을 모색해야 한다. 사회의식없는 영성은 공허하고, 영성없는 사회의식은 맹목이다. The aim of this thesis is to reconsider to the meaningfulness and shortage of Buddhist ecology and Eco-Buddhism. The most fundamental princple of Buddhism, ‘pratitysamutpata(a rising from conditional causation, or dependent arising)'is a interdependent, relational, organic, systematic, and holistic world-view. And the ethics of Buddhism, great compassion is a respect and care to the all beings including the non-living beings. A deep ecologist Arne Naess proposed the concept of identification and Self-realization. The identification means that the individual self is embracing another beings into his/her self and expanding to them. According to the process of identification, the individual, egoistic, isolated and atomic self realizes the Self, relational, altruistic, interdependent, holistic and ecological self. In spite of the meaningfulness of buddhist ecology, it seems to me that it is lacking a social conciousness. The combination of spirituality and sociality in a ecological philosophy and ecosophy is very important.

강화학습을 통한 토목 공정 최적화

토목 공정은 건설 공정 중에서 많은 반복적인 작업으로 이루어져 있고 물량이 많아 계획에 따라 공사비가 많이 달라진다는 특징이 있다. 2006년부터 자동화된 지능형 굴삭시스템을 통해 토공 계획의 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 연구와 개발이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 연구에서는 작업자의 휴리스틱이 고려된 작업으로 최적화된 계획으로 보기 어려웠다. 본 연구에서는 토목 공정의 효율성을 증진시키고 비용을 절감하기 위해 토목 공정환경을 모델링 하여 시뮬레이터를 개발하였고, 주어진 토목 환경에서 강화학습을 이용하여 최적의 토목 공정 계획을 최적화하였다.

시화호 수질의 연변화 양상에 대한 연구

Annual variation of water qualities in the Sihwa Lake were observed 18 times from June 1996 to October 2001. We studied at the station of the upper streams and near the water gate of lake. After the flow of the outer seawater through the water gate, the surface salinity in Sihwa Lake increased to the range of 25-30 psu in both stations after October 1998. Due to the declination of the salinity differences between the surface and the bottom water, the pycnocline in which had existed until 1997 has weakened, and made the water column mix vertically. This led to the improvement of anoxic/hypoxic environment at bottom waters after April 1998. However, despite the continuous flow of the outer seawater, the concentrations of chlorophyll-a at surface layer were varied from 2 g/l to 60 g/l, and these values indicated the eutrophication. The following organic matter load was greatly influencing the surface layer's COD concentration. During the rainy season, the salinity at the surface layer fell below 15 psu resulting in stratification between the surface and bottom layer. Organic matters that were provided from the surface layer to the bottom layer due to active primary production in the year exhausted dissolved oxygen at the bottom layer, and the bulks of organic matters at bottom gave rise to hypoxic or anoxic environment. It was observed that the enrichment of ammonia and phosphate were main factors to worsen the water quality of the Sihwa Lake. The results of examining the annual variations in Sihwa Lake through principal component analysis shown that water characteristics in the rainy season were similar with those before input of outer sea water.

A Study on the ecological marxism : A Study on the ecological marxism

It seems to be commonly accepted that Marxim has little to say about ecological problems, that its implicit positions are far from illuminating them, and, what is, more, that the Marxist position enables, causes, or legitimizes harm to the environment. At best Marxism is seen to be caught in the dilemma of rejecting the idiocy of rural life and at same time embracing the naturalization of man and the resurrection of nature. Reiner Grundmann tries to find out which sort of problems can be analysed by Marx's theory and which of its approaches are still convincing. And he gropes the reconstruction of Marx's thought and thinks there is something which can be exploited and reconstructed. This paper aims to study about the ecological Marxism by the young philosopher Reiner Grundmann who is centering on the anthropocentric standpoint. It seema to me that the anthropocentric standoint, in spite of a few deficiency, can povide us with a definite clue to solve the contemporary ecological crisis.

This paper examines a study on the acceptance of western social thoughts(moden enlightenment thought, Socialim, Marxim, Anarchism) in Korea through Japan before the 1945 Liberration of Korea. It is natural that ideas of a country are influenced by those of other countries, because the culture or thought-system of a country is not a closed but open system. This study aims not to retrospect the past days, but to prospect the future of Korea social ideas. So this paper examines a Korea endeavor to establish their subjecthood in the social theory and practice. And this paper does not adjust the focus of a social movement history, but a scholastic history.

1'his paper aims to study a foundation 掠 establish the ecological socialphilosophy theoretically. In spite that Maix's understanding about the environmental problem is greatly ecological, there are any elements that could be interpreted as anti -ecological in his historical materialism. Marx thought that the scientific technological development can guarantee the human liberlation in the abolishment of capitalism Marx had a belief that the development of the productive forces provides a base to reach the realm of freedom as that of human self-realization. So he believed that the environmental problem could be come to a settlement through the removal of the capitalistic productive relastions.But I think this Marx's understanding is insufficient.And the ecological problem was a matter of grave concern, nevertheless, it was not primary in Marx. Marx's theory of society must be supplemented by the argument of 'the green' to grape for some clue o the reconciliation of man and nature.

김지하 미학사상을 생각한다

김지하는 혁명적 시인이면서 생명사상가며, 율려사상가이다. 사상적 시인이라고 할 수 있다. 그의 생명사상 안에는 미학사상을 포함하고 있으며, 이 글은 그것을 그러내고자 하였다. 모심, 그리고 높이 모시면서 수평적으로 사귀는 동사(同事)의 미학적 의미, 그늘과 흰 그늘의 미학적 의미, 고리(環)의 미학적 의미가 중심축이 될 것이다. 여기서는 동사와 우리 춤의 관계, 그늘이면서 밝은 그늘인 흰그늘의 의미, 틈의 미학적 의미, 탈춤과 동학과의 관계, 탈춤에서 발견되는 고리의 미학 등이 포함된다. 틈은 모심과 동사를 가능케 하는 원리이다. 그늘은 율려의 장단 안에 넋이 흔들리는 것이며, 율려의 느낌과 모습이 그늘이다. 그리고 흰 그늘은 빛을 품은 어둠이다. 고리(環)란 순환적 확장이며 확충이다. 이 고리는 집단적 신명, 살아있음에서 나온다. 미학적 개념은 철학적 개념처럼 명증하고 논리적인 토대 위에서 사유의 내용이 아니고 감성적으로 느끼는 포괄적 개념이다. 미학적 개념이라고 할 때는 눈에 보이지 않는 미묘한 울림, 향기 그런 것들과 함께 눈에 보이는 감각적 체험이 통합되면서 형성된다. 따라서 김지하의 미학사상도 철학적 사유와는 사뭇 다르다. The aim of this thesis is to study on the Kim Ji-Ha's aesthetic thought. Kim Ji-Ha is a poet. But it seems to me that he is an excellent thoughter. Kim' aesthetic thought based on the Korean Dong-Hak thought. The main concept of Dong-hak thought is a Mosim(Care). Kim Ji-Ha starts from this Mosim concept. This Mosim is not only a respect but also and horizontal friendship. The true Mosim is a respect at a distance. This distance is the space of a freedom and autonomy. According to Kim the concept of Mosim in Donhak's philosophical system implies radical egalitarianism, yet, at the same time, it presupposes the distance between the individuals. In other words, Donhak's egalitarianism always incorporates ethical admiration of orthers in terms of mutual friendshilp ecological love and high regard. According of Kim Ji-Ha, today we must look for the new middle tone. That tone must be not only Yang but also Yin. The universe is both cosmos and chaos, chaosmos. But the middle point is placed in the Yin. The important concept in Kim's aesthetic thought is 'Teum', which means space, room, distance, crevice, gap of mutual existence. And Kim JI-Ha suggests the aesthetics of shadow and white shadow, ring. According to Kim the mysterious shadow is not a mere dark shadow. The mysterious state of shadow is produced by the co-existence of paradoxical situation ― light and darkness, sorrow and joy. This lies between the Haeven and the mundane world, life and death, fantasy and reality, supenatural and sensuous experience, sameness and otherness. And white shadow signifies the of eternal cosmic life. In short, the white shadow is a shining and glowing one. At last, Kim suggests the aesthetics of ring. Ring is circular extention, expansion. And this ring comes out from collective joyousness.
