      • 각-관 열교환기의 냉각능력 향상에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 변압기 냉각용 각-관(Shell and Tube) 열교환기의 성능을 실험적으로 테스트하여 열교환기의 냉각능력을 향상시키는 기술을 개발하고자 하였다. 예열수조 2개를 항온조와 함께 사용함으로써 열교환기 입구에서와 온수의 초기온도를 60℃로 유지하고, cooling tower를 이용하여 입구에서 냉각수 온도를 20℃로 유지하였다. 냉각수 유량변화(5ℓ/min, 10ℓ/min, 15ℓ/min)에 따른 baffle의 형태(Single-segmental baffle, Double-segmental baffle, Disk & Doughnut baffle, Helical baffle)와 baffle의 개수(7개에서 5개) 및 tube의 개수(26개에서 18개)를 변화시켰을 때 열교환기의 냉각능력을 각각 실험하였다. 온수와 냉각수의 입ㆍ출구에서의 온도변화를 측정하기 위하여 Thermocouple을 온수와 냉각수 관의 입ㆍ출구에 하나씩 설치하였다. 실험결과 Disk & Doughnut, Helical baffle, Double-segmental baffle의 열전달률이 Single-segmental baffle보다 5.3%, 5.5%, 11.8% 높고, Double-segmental baffle의 경우 Tube 수의 감소율이 35%일 때 열전달률의 감소율은 14.3%임을 알 수 있었고, baffle의 수가 5개에서 7개로 증가했을 때 열전달률이 12.1% 증가함을 알았다. An experimental study to enhance the cooling capacity of the shell and tube type heat exchanger has been carried out. The initial temperature of hot water in the heat exchanger is maintained at 60℃, using two preheating water baths and one constant temperature water bath, while the coolant temperature is maintained at 20℃ by way of the cooling tower. For the coolant rates of 5 ℓ/min, 10 ℓ/min, 15 ℓ/min, the experiments to determine the heat exchanger cooling capacity have been performed using the various types of baffle(Single- segmental baffle, Double-segmental baffle, Disk & Doughnut baffle, Helical baffle), the number of baffles(from 7 to 5) and number of tubes(from 26 to 18). Thermocouples are installed in the inlet and outlet of hot-water and coolant tube to measure the temperature difference. It was found that the heat transfer rates for Disk & Doughnut baffle, Helical baffle, Double-segmental baffle are 5.3%, 5.5%, 11.8% higher than the Single-segmental baffle, respectively. When the number of tube is reduce by 35%, the 14.3% decrease in the heat transfer rate occurs, while when the number of baffle increases from 5 to 7, the 12% increase in the heat transfer rate occurs.

        Effects of Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Treatment on Meat Quality and Sensory Evaluation in Soy Sauce and Hot-pepper Paste Marinated Pork

        The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO2) treatment on meat quality and sensory evaluation of marinated pork. Meat marinated in two traditional Korean marinades, soy sauce and hot-pepper paste, and raw marinated meat were then treated with 7.4, 12.2, or 15.2 MPa CO2 at 31.1oC for 10 min. The SC-CO2 treatments had no effect on the meat pH (p>0.05) or Warner-Bratzler shear force (p>0.05). There was no significant difference (p>0.05) in the total loss (sum of treatment loss and cooking loss) between the control and SC-CO2 treated samples at 15.2 MPa (soy sauce marinated pork: 21.78 vs. 18.97%; hot-pepper marinated pork: 21.61 vs. 18.01%). After the SC-CO2 treatment, lighter surface colors were observed in the treatment samples compared to those of the control samples (p< 0.001). However, tasting panelists were unable to distinguish a difference in color or in overall acceptability of the control and treatment (p>0.05). In the case of soy sauce marinated pork, when SC-CO2 applied at 15.2 MPa and 31.1oC for 10 min, treatment samples showed a tenderer meat than the control samples. Therefore, the SC-CO2 treatment conditions had no adverse effects on the sensory quality characteristics of the marinated meat products.

        장기간 Risperidone 투여후 지연성으로 발생한 Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome 1례

        Risperidone은 비교적 최근에 개발된 항정신병약물이며, 그것이 가진 도파민 D2 수용체와 세로토닌2 수용체를 차단하는 작용기전, 추체외로 부작용과 지연성 운동장애가 적다는 점, 정신분열병의 음성증상에도 효과가 있다는 점에서 흔히 비전형적 약물로 불리운다. 그러나 이러한 비전형성에도 불구하고, 이미 전세계적으로는 15개 정도의 risperidone에 의한 신경이완제 악성증후군(neuroleptic malignant syndrome : NMS)의 보고가 있으며. 국내에서도 최근 하나의 증례가 보고되었다. 저자들은 정신분열병으로 장기간 risperidone으로 치료받던 젊은 남자 환자에서 치료 1년 9개월만에 발생된 NMS 1례를 경험하였기에 관련문헌의 고찰과 더불어 증례보고하고자 한다. Risperidone is a relatively new antipsychotic agent. It is often referred to as 'atypical', because it has a mechanism of action that blocks post synaptic dopamine-2 and serotonin-2 receptors, it is associated with fewer extrapyramidal side effects, it is not yet associated with tardive dyskinesia, and it may have some efficacy on negative symptoms of schizophrenia. In despite of its 'atypical' nature, there are already more than 15 reports of risperidone-induced neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Only one case of risperidone-induced NMS was reported recently in Korea. We report one case of delayed risperidone-induced neuroleptic malignant syndrome in young male patient and review the related articles.

      • 한국인에서 도파민 D4 수용체 다형성과 Novelty Seeking 성격 특성의 연관성

        연구목적 : 저자들은 한국인에서 도파민 D4 수용체(DRD4) 유전자의 다형성과 성격의 관련성을 알아보고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방 법 : 173명의 건강한 한국인 여자 청소년(13.88±0.29세)을 대상으로 하여 성격 기질 설문지(Temperament and Character Inventory : TCI)를 작성하도록 하였으며, 이들에서 DRD4 exon Ⅲ 48-bp VNTR(variable numbers of tandem repeats) 다형성을 분석하였다. 결 과 : DRD4 exon Ⅲ Vntr에서 긴 대립유전자(≥5 repeats)를 가진 군이 긴 대립유전자를 가지지 않은군에 비하여 Novelty Seeking 척도 점수가 유의하게 높았다(t=2.11,p=0.037). 결 론 : 본 연구 결과는 DRD4-exon Ⅲ의 긴 대립유전자가 Novelty Seeking 성격과 관련이 있다는 기존의 외국에서의 연구결과를 다시금 확인해주는 것이다. Objectives : We investigated the relationship of personality traits with dopamine D4 receptor(DRD4) exon Ⅲ polymorphism in a Korean population. Methods : We analysed DRD4 exon Ⅲ 48-bp repeats polymorphism in 173 Korean heakthy female adolescents(age=13.88±0.29years) who also completed Temperament and Charater Inventory(TCI). Results : Novelty seeking score of the TCI was significantly higher in the subjects with DRD4 long alleles(≥5 repeats) compares with the subjects without these (t=2.11, p=0.037). Conclusion : The present study supports the previous reports that long repeats of the DRD4-exon Ⅲ polymorphism are relatedwith Novelty Seeking personality.

      • 노즐 직경이 충돌제트에 의하여 열전달에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 축대칭 난류원형제트가 평판에 충돌하는 경우에 노즐직경이 국소 Nusselt 수 분포에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 노즐출구에서의 유동은 완전 발달된 속도형상을 지니고 있다. 그리고, 금박막이 된 Intrex를 사용하여 평판에는 등열유속 경계조건을 형성시켰다 또한, 액정은 평판의 벽면온도를 측정하기 위하여 사용하였다. 실험시 Reynolds 수는 Re=23,000으로 고정하였으며, 노즐과 평판사이의 거리는 L/d=2~14 까지, 노즐 직경은 d=1.36, 2.16, 3.40으로 변화시켰다. 실험결과 정체점과 정체점 영역에서의 Nusselt 수는 노즐 직경이 증가함에 따라 증가함을 알았다. The effect of nozzle diameter on the local Nusselt number distributions has been investigated for an axisymmetric turbulent jet impinging on the flat Plate surface. The flow at the nozzle exit has a fully developed velocity profile. A uniform heat flux boundary condition at the plate surface was created using gold film Intrex. Liquid Crystal was used to measure the plate surface temperature. The experiments were made for the jet Reynolds number (Re) 23,000, the dimensionless nozzle to surface distance (L/d) from 2 to 14., and the nozzle diameter (d) from 1.36 to 3.40 cm. The results show that the Nusselt number at and near the stagnation point increase with an increasing value of the nozzle diameter.

        자살 시도의 심각도와 혈청 지질농도의 관련성

        연구목적 : 낮은 혈청 콜레스트롤 농도와 자살과 같은 폭력적 행동에 관한 관련성에 관한 논란이 있어왔다. 본 연구는 자살 시도 후 응급실로 내원한 환자에서 혈청 총 콜레스테롤 농도만이 아닌 전반적인 혈청 지질 농도의 저하 여부를 조사하였으며, 자살 시도 상황을 평가하는 객관적 척도를 통하여 자살 시도 상황에서 자살 시도의 심각도와 혈청 지질 농도의 관계에 대하여 연구하였다. 방 법 : 1998년 7월부터 1999년 6월 사이에 자살 시도후 고려대학교 의료원 응급실로 내원한 50명의 자살 시도자를 연구대상으로 하였다. 이들은 정신과 의사의 면담을 통하여 정신과적 진단을 받았으며 동시에 위험-구조척도(RRR). HDRS, BPRS 등이 평가되었다. 또한 동 기간에 본원 정신과에서 입원 치료를 받은 자살 시도가 없었던 환자중, 대상군과 나이, 성별, 진단을 맞추어서 50명의 환자를 선정하여 정신과 환자 대조군으로 하였다. 자살 시도군과 대조군의 혈청 지질농도가 t-test를 통하여 비교되었으며, RRR점수와 혈청 지질 농도, HDRS,BPRS와의 사이의 연관성 Spearman순위 상관계수로 분석되었다. 결 과 : 자살 시도자중 주요우울증이 29명, 정신분열병이 2명, 인격장애가 19명이었으며, 자살 시도군의 혈청 총 콜레스트롤 농도(t=---3.29, p=.001). 총 지질 농도(t=-2.62, p=.01), LDL농도(t=-2.64, p=.011)가 대조군보다 유의하게 낮았다. 진단별로는 주요우울증에서는 총 콜레스트롤 농도, 총 지질 농도, LDL 농도가 대조군에 비하여 낮았으나, 인격장애에서는 혈청 콜레스트롤 농돤이 대조군보다 낮았다. 자살 시도군에서 RRR 점수는 혈청 콜레스테롤 농도와 부적 상관관계를 보였으나 (γ=.-293,p=.039), BPRS(γ=.544, p<.001)와 HDRS(γ=.488, p=.001)와는 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 결 론 : 자살 시도군에서 혈청 지질 농도 중 총 콜레스테롤, 총 지질, LDL농도가 유의하게 저하되어있음을 확인하였다. 또한 자살의 심각도를 평가한 RRR 정수가 혈청 총 콜레스테롤 농도와 유의하게 상관성이 있음이 확인되었다. 이는 낮은 혈청 총 콜레스테롤 농도가 심각한 자살 시도와 연관이 있음을 보여주는 것이다. Objectives : Many studies have demonstrated that suicide is related to low serum cholesterol level, whereas conflicting results have also reported. The aims of the present study are to determine whether suicidal attempters have low lipid concentration and to identify the relationship between suicidal attempt severity and serum lipid levels. Methods: Subjects were 50 suicidal attempters who visited the emergency room in Korea University Medical Center between July 1998 and June 1999. All subjects had been interviewed by psychiatrist and evaluated with Risk-rescue rating, HDRS and BPRS. They were diagnosed as major depressive disorder(n=29), personality disorder(n=19), and schizophrenia(n-=2). Serum lipid levels in 50 suicidal attempters were compared with those in 50 nonsuicidal psychiatric inpatients corresponding to the age, sex and diagnosis of the suicidal attempters. We also examined the Spearman's rank correlations between serum lipid levels and risk-rescue score. Results : The serum total cholesterol level(t=-3.29, p=.001), total lipid level(t=-2.62, p=.01), and LDL level(t=-2.64, p=.011) in suicidal attempters were significantly lower compared with nonsuicidal controls. In major depressive patients, total cholesterol level, total lipid level, and LDL level in suicidal attempters were significantly lower than those of nonsuicidal controls. In personality disorder patients, however, only serum total cholesterol level was significantly lower. Risk-rescue rating score was negatively correlated with serum total cholesterol level(p=.-293, p=.039), and positively correlated with BPRS(p=.544, p<.001), and HDRS(p=.488, p=.001). Conclusion : The lipid levels in suicidal attempter were significantly lower. Suicidal attempt severity was also significantly correlated with serum total cholesterol level. These findings suggest that low serum cholesterol should be related with severs violent suicidal attempt.

      • 난포기 및 황체기에 있어서 돼지 난관 협부 평활근의 neurotransmitter들의 수축효과에 대한 estradiol-17β및 progesterone의 영향

        The effects of estradiol-17β or progesterone on the contractility of neurotransmitters on pig oviductal isthmic smooth muscle were investigated. The motility of the isolated smooth muscle was recorded by using physiological recording system. The results were summarized as follows : 1. The contractility induced by histamine or prostaglandin F2α was depressed by the pretreatment of estradiol-17β but was not by the preteatment of progesterone in follicular or luteal stage. 2. The contractility induced by acetylcholine was depressed un follicular stage but excited in luteal stage by the pretreatment of estradiol-17β or progesterone. 3. The contractility induced by norepinephrine was depressed by the pretreatment of progesterone in follicular stage but was excited by the pretreatment estradiol-17β in luteal stage.

        식품 위해 요소중점 관리 기준에 대한 서울지역 사업체 급식관리자의 위생관리평가

        Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point(HACCP) is becoming an important component of food safety worldwide. The aim of this study was to investigate comprehensively the education and knowledge level of food service managers on HACCP as well as applying HACCP system to industrial foodservice. Total 247 foodservice managers participated in the survey and 159 responses were used for analysis. The results were as follows; 1) 89% of foodservice managers were educated about HACCP, and 40.9% felt they did fully understand HACCP and 47.8% did half. 2) The score for the implementation of HACCP was in the order of apparatus and facility sanitation, personal sanitation, and time-temperature/etc. sanitation. 3) Foodservice managers who were taught HACCP kept a deep attention to food and personal sanitation, compared with those without education(p<0.05). However, the education time on HACCP affected conducting safety management. The results suggest that education and understanding of HACCP are positively related, and understanding of HACCP has a positive influence on conducting safety management.
