        보성산 유기농 녹차의 품질에 따른 카테킨 함량과 항산화능 비교 분석

        유기농 녹차의 등급별 총페놀 함량과 항산화능은 각 추출 용매에 따른 수율을 확인하였을 때 물 추출에 비하여 수용성 유기용매의 추출 수율이 유의적으로 높았다. 유기용매를 이용한 추출수율은 물을 이용할 때 보다 총페놀 함량은 1.5에서 3.2배, 항산화능은 1.8에서 3.8배 정도 높게 나타났다. HPLC 분석을 통하여 총페놀 함량과 항산화능의 상관관계를 비교 시 총페놀 함량이 증가함에 따라 항산화능이 1차 선형관계로 증가하는 경향을 보였다. HPLC분석을 통하여 유기농 녹차에 함유되어 있는 다양한 카테킨의 함량이 채엽시기에 따라 변화가 나타났다. 유기농 녹차의 카테킨 성분 중 가장 많이 존재하는 EGCG가 건조중량당 5.8-7.7%의 함량을 보였고, caffeine은 1.7-2.9%의 함량을 보였다. 유기농 녹차의 카테킨 함량은 일반적으로 채엽 시기가 늦어짐에 따라서 점차 감소하였다. 유기농 녹차의 등급에 따른 항산화능은 최상급인 우전에서 가장 높았으며 최하등급인 엽차에서 가장 낮게 나타났다. HPLC 분석에 의한 유기농 녹차의 등급에 따른 총 카테킨 함량(㎎/g)은 우전(155.4), 세작(147.7), 중작(143.2), 엽차(135.1), 대작(130.5)의 순서로 감소하였다. 이를 통해 녹차의 채엽 시기가 유기농 녹차의 카테킨 성분 및 항산화능에도 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 전반적으로 상급의 유기농 녹차 일수록 총페놀 및 카테킨 함량이 많으며 또한 더 높은 항산화능을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of various solvents on extraction of bioactive phenolics and to analyze the antioxidant capacity and contents of individual catechins in various grades of green teas organically grown in Boseong, Korea. The organic green teas, based on their harvest seasons, were categorized into five grades such as Woo-Jeon, Se-Jak, Jung-Jak, Dae-Jak, and coarse tea. Solvents used to extract phenolics from these teas included water at 23℃ and 70℃ as well as 80% (v/v) aqueous methanol and ethanol. In general, aqueous organic solvents of methanol and ethanol led to higher extraction yields of phenolics than water at 23℃ and 70℃. Total phenolics and antioxidant capacity of the teas extracted with the aqueous organic solvents were approximately 1.5 to 3.2 and 1.8 to 3.8 times higher than those with water at 23℃ and 70℃, respectively. Coarse tea, the lowest grade of green tea, showed approximately 30-60% lower total phenolics and antioxidant capacity compared with the higher grade ones. Reversed-phase HPLC analysis was performed quantitatively to identify individual catechins, gallic acid, and caffeine in teas extracted with 80% (v/v) aqueous methanol. Based on their dry weights, the organic green teas contained about 1.7 to 2.9% of caffeine. Content (㎎/g dry weight) of tea catechins decreased in the following order: Woo-Jeon (155.4) > Se-Jak (147.7) > Jung-Jak (143.2) > coarse tea (135.1) > Dae-Jak (130.5). (-)-Epigall℃atechin gallate was the most abundant among the catechins analyzed. The highest grade of green tea, Woo-Jeon, had the highest amount of (-)-epigall℃atechin gallate at 77.4 ㎎/g dry weight. Overall, the higher grade of organic green teas tended to have the higher level of antioxidant capacity and catechins.

        Highly conductive and transparent thin films of ITO are fabricated by spray Pylosis method. The parameters of these thin films are as follows : resistivity ρ=1.5x10^(-3) Ωㆍ??, transmission 90% over visible and IR region. The Parameters of SnO_(2) : F thin films are follows : resistivity ρ=1.8x10^(-3)Ωㆍ??, trans-mission 80% over visible ant IR region. ITO thin films have simple cubic structure with lattice constant α=10.2Å and polycrystalline with (400) and (222). SnO_(2): F thin films have tetragonal system with lattice constant α=4.8Å and polycrystalline with (110), (200), (211) and (310). Under AMI sunlight simulator, the Parameters for ITO/n-Si heterojunction solar cells are open-circuit voltage Voc =0.42 V, short-circuit current Isc =34mA, fill factor FF=0.67 and conversion efficiency η=10%. Under AMI sunlight simulator, the parameters for SnO_(2): F/n -Si heterojunction solar cells are open-circuit voltage Voc =0.36V, short-circuit current Isc =28mA fill factor FF=0.55 and conversion efficiency η=6%.

      • [논문]회분식 화학공정의 공정감시를 위한 자동화 시스템 개발

        현재 대부분의 국내 화학 공장 에서는 반응기의 자동 제어를 위해서 PLC(Prograrnmable Logic Controller)를 사용하고 있지만 성능에 비해 고가라는 단점이 있다. 이에 반해,16bit Micro- controller 인 80C196KC는 CPU, 입 · 출력장치 둥이 One Chip에 내장되어 있으므로 소형이며, 가격 대 성능비가 뛰어나 중 · 소형 화학반응 공정의 자동 제어에 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 산업분야의 자동화에 사용되고 있는 INTEL사의 16bit Microcontroller인 80C196KC를 사용하여 회분식 화학반응기의 자동화 시스템을 개발하고, 또 인터넷을 이용하여 원격감시와 제어가 가능하게 하였다.

        Derivation of reasonable design rainfall was attempted by comparative analysis of design rainfall derived by frequency analysis of Type I extremal distribution and probability plotting technique for annual maximum 1-day, 1-hour and 10-minute rainfalls observed at Cheong Ju. The results were analyzed and summarized as follows : 1. Basic statistics were calculated for the analysis of Type I extremal distribution with annual maximum 1-day, 1-hour and 10-minute rainfalls at Cheong Ju. 2. Necessary parameters were derived by frequency analysis of Type I extremal distribution for annual maximum 1-day, 1-hour and 10-minute rainfalls at Cheong Ju. 3. Design annual maximum 1-day, 1-hour and 10-minute rainfalls in mm were derived by frequency analysis of Type I extremal distribution and probability plotting technique respectively at Cheong Ju. 4. Design annual maximum 1-hour and 10-minute rainfalls were derived by frequency analysis of Type I extremal distribution and probability plotting technique are shown to be much closer to the observed data but design annual maximum 1-day rainfall is not to be closer to the observed data. 5. Design annual maximum rainfalls following the duration derived by Type I extremal distribution are seemed to be more reasonable than those of probability plotting technique owing to the difference of individual eyefitting.

      • Phenobarbital 前處置가 Halothane 麻醉時 肝病變에 미치는 影響에 關한 病理組織學的 硏究

        Since halothane, as a new potent, nonexplosive, volatile agent, was introduced in 1956, many case reports of liver necrosis following halothane anesthesia have raised to possibility that the agent may damage the liver under certain circumstances. This study was carried out to investigate the histopathological effects of phenobarbital pretreated halothane anesthesia to the rat liver cells. Sprague-Dawley rats (male and female) were pretreated with phenobarbital; PBT(100 mg/kg/ day) for 3 days. All animals in each experimental group (saline-control, saline-anesthetized, PBT-control, and PBT-anesthetized) were fasted for 15 to 16 hours prior to each anesthesia period. PBT and Saline-pretreated animals were anesthetized together for 3 hours one to two times at 3 day intervals in a single chamber from a calibrated vaporizer. Stage III anesthesia was introduced with 1% halothane in oxygen and maintained with 0.8% to 1% halothane. Controls received the equivalent amount of saline solution. Each animal was sacrificed immediately, at 6, 12, 18, 24 and 48 hours after anesthesia respectively. The histopathological changes in the liver of the control and experimental groups were noted as follows; 1. Vacuolar degeneration of the hepatic cells of PBT pretreated rats showed more marked degree than the control. In repeated exposure of animals to the anesthetic at 3 day intervals aggravates the lesioned in control and PBT pretreated rats. 2. In first exposure to the anesthetic, fatty changes of the hepatic cells in PBT pretrea rats showed more marked in degree than the control. In repeated exposure of rats aggravates the lesions in control and PBT pretreated rats, and that of PBT pretreated rats was similar to the control. 3. The marked necrotic changes of hepatic cells were present in the PBT pretreated rats but those of the control were rarely observed. Repeated exposure of rats aggravate the lesion.

        Comparisons of callus formation ratios from seed explants, callus sizes, regeneration ratios from callus and regeneration efficiency for 4 orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata L.) varieties (Three were developed in Korea and one was imported from foreign nation) are as follows; Jangbeol 102 (67.0%) has the highest callus formation ratio in 4 weeks incubated callus after bedding the seed explants, but Potomac (68.4%) has the highest ratio in 6-seek callus. Potomac (3.93cm) has the highest callus size in 4-week callus, but Jangbeol 101 (4.32cm) has the highest size in 6-week callus. Jangbeol 101 (17.7%) has the highest plant regeneration ratio in 4-week callus, but Potomac (37.4%) has the highest raion in 6-week callus. Jangbeol 102 (11.5%) has the highest plant regeneration efficiency in 4-week callus, but Potomac (25.6%) has the highest efficiency in 6-week callus.

        인슐린 비의존성 당뇨병에 동반된 심상성 천포창 1 례

        저자들은 인슐린 비의존형 당뇨병 환자에서 통증성 구강내 미란 및 전신성 수포성 미란을 동반한 심상성 천포창 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Various skin conditions such as diabetic dermopathy, necrobiosis lipoidica diabeticorum, bullosis diabeticorum, granuloma annulare occur frequently in diabetes, although common lesions may be associated by chance. Pemphigus vulgaris(PV) is a blistering skin disease seen predominantly in elderly patients. This disorder is characterized by the loss of cohesion between epidermal cells with the resultant formation of intraepidermal blisters. These blisters rupture easily, leaving denuded areases that may crust and enlarge peripherally. In half or more of patients, lesions begin in the mouth: approximately 90% of patients have oromucosal involvement at some time during the course of their disease. But the relationship of this disorder with diabetes is not clear. We experienced a case of pemphigus vulgaris associated with NIDDM in 67 years old woman who was admitted due to painful oral ulcer and control of blood glucose, so we present this case with a review of literatures.
