        We experienced a 68-year-old male patient who visited our clinic because of sudden onset occipital headache, chest pain and poorly controlled hypertension. We diagnosed as a hypertensive emergencies in chronic renal insuffiency and perform coronary angiogram and renal angiogram. There was a significant stenosis at the interlobar artery of right kidney, and successful percutaneous transluminal renal angioplasty (PTRA) was performed.

        Effect of an Electrochemically Oxidized ZnO Seed Layer on ZnO Nanorods Grown by using Electrodeposition

        ZnO nanorods were prepared on a Si substrate with and without a ZnO seed layer formed by electro-oxidation to investigate the effect of the seed layer on their growth. The ZnO nanorods grown on the ZnO seed layer had top surfaces that were flat whereas those grown without it had rough top surfaces, as observed in field-emission scanning electron microscopy images. In the Xray diffraction analysis, all ZnO nanorods showed preferential orientation with the (002) plane. In the case of ZnO nanorods prepared with a ZnO seed layer, the residual stress decreased, and the full width at half maximum of the ZnO (002) plane peak decreased. The photoluminescence spectra show a strong and narrow near-band-edge emission peak and high near-band-edge emission to deep-level emission peak ratio for the ZnO nanorods prepared with the seed layer. With respect to the photoresponse properties, the ZnO nanorods grown with the ZnO seed layer showed higher responsivity and faster rise/decay curves than those grown without it. Thus, the ZnO seed layer formed by electro-oxidation improves the structural, optical, and photoresponse properties of the ZnO nanorods formed on it. This method could serve as a new route for improving the properties of optoelectronic devices.

        Effect of an Oxidized Metallic Zn Buffer Layer on the Morphological, Optical, Electrical, and Photoresponse Properties of Spin-coated ZnO Films

        We studied the morphological, optical, electrical, and photoresponse properties of ZnO thin films grown by using the sol-gel spin-coating method on Zn buffer layers oxidized at different temperatures ranging from 300 to 600 °C. With increasing the oxidation temperature, the surface morphology changed from granular to a cluster of aggregates. In the photoluminescence spectra, the highest ratio of the intensities of the near-band-edge to the deep-level emission and the lowest value of the full width at half maximum were observed at an oxidation temperature of 300 °C. The ZnO thin film grown on the Zn buffer layer oxidized at a temperature of 300 °C showed the highest values of transmittance in the visible region. The optical band gap was blue-shifted with decreasing oxidation temperature from 400 to 300 °C, and the lowest Urbach energy was observed at an oxidation temperature of 300 °C. In the study of the photoresponse properties, the fastest response/recovery rate and the highest photosensitivity were obtained for the sample prepared at an oxidation temperature of 300 °C.

        Effect of Zn Nitrate Hexahydrate Concentration on ZnO Nanorods Grown from an Electrochemically Oxidized ZnO Seed Layer

        This study investigated the effect of precursor concentration on both the morphology and the structural, optical, and photoresponse properties of zinc-oxide (ZnO) nanorods when using a ZnO seed layer formed by using the electro-oxidation method. The ZnO nanorods were grown on the ZnO seed layer at various precursor concentrations. Field-emission scanning electron microscopy images revealed that most ZnO nanorods showed a pyramid-like top surface; however, those grown at a concentration of 40 mM showed a flat top surface. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the ZnO nanorods showed an improvement in orientation along the c-axis direction with increasing precursor concentration. Photoluminescence spectra showed that the full width at half maximum values of the near-band-edge emission peak and the ratio of the near-band-edge emission peak to the deep-level emission peak increased and decreased, respectively, with increasing precursor concentration, indicating the occurrence of many defects in the ZnO nanorods. In terms of the photoresponse properties, ZnO nanorods grown at a precursor concentration of 20 mM showed the highest responsivity.

        오픈소스 DBMS 서비스로의 전환의도에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 기업의 핵심 서비스인 DBMS에 대해서 어떤 요인들이 상용 소프트웨어에서 오픈소스 소프트웨어로의 전환의도에 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 본 연구는 전환의도를 파악하기 위해서 전환의도에 높은 설명력을 보이는 PPM (Push-Pull-Mooring) 모형을 적용하였으며, 연구모형의 변수를 설정하기 위해 오픈소스 소프트웨어 수용의도 및 전환의도 관련 연구에 대한 문헌연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 전국의 IT업무 종사자 336명을 대상으로 온라인 설문으로 진행했으며, SPSS와 R을 통한 실증분석을 진행하였다. 실증분석 결과 대안매력도는 전환의도에 영향을 미치고 불만족은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 국내 오픈소스 DBMS 활성화 및 기업의 비용절감에 기여할 것으로 기대한다. This study attempted to find which factors influence the intent to transition from commercial software to open source software for executing a company's core service, the Database Management System (DBMS). To understand the intent to switch, this research applied the Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM) model, which has high explanatory power for such transitions. To set the variables for the research model, we conducted a literature review on studies related to the intention to adopt and transition to open source software. This research also conducted an online survey targeting 336 IT professionals nationwide in Korea, and empirical analyses were carried out using SPSS and R. The analysis showed that alternative attractiveness influenced the intention to switch, while dissatisfaction did not. This study expects contribution to the activation of open source DBMS in Korea and cost savings for the related businesses.

        초등학생의 운동변화단계에 따른 그릿 및 회복탄력성

        본 연구의 목적은 초등학생을 대상으로 운동변화단계에 따른 그릿 및 회복탄력성의 관계를 규명하는데 목적이있다. 연구대상자는 서울시 소재의 초등학생 250명을 선정하였고, 군집표집법(cluster sampling)을 사용하여 참여에동의한 대상자 250명 중 불성실한 응답 10명을 제외하고 240명을 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 자료 처리는 SPSS 18 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, Cronbach's α, 일원변량 분석, 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였으며연구 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 성과 학년에 따른 운동변화단계에서 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 초등학생의 운동변화단계가 높은 수준일수록 그릿의 수준이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 초등학생의 운동변화단계가높은 수준일수록 회복탄력성이 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 초등학생의 그릿과 회복탄력성은 정(+)적인 상관관계를 보였으며, 그릿의 하위요소인 노력지속 회복탄력성에 하위요인인 통제성, 긍정성, 사회성에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 흥미유지는긍정성은 통제성, 사회성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과를 종합해보면 초등학생의 운동변화단계가 높을수록 서로 밀접한 상관관계를 가지고 있는 그릿과 회복탄력성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between grit and recovery resilience according to the stages of physical activity change in elementary school students. The study included 250 elementary school students in Seoul, selected using cluster sampling, with 240 participants selected after excluding 10 respondents with unreliable answers. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 18, including frequency analysis, Cronbach's α, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The research results revealed the following: First, there were no significant differences in physical activity change stages based on gender and grade level. Second, higher levels of physical activity change stages in elementary school students were associated with higher levels of grit. Third, elevated levels of physical activity change stages were positively correlated with recovery resilience. Fourth, grit and recovery resilience in elementary school students showed a positive correlation. Within grit, the sub-factor of effortful persistence influenced recovery resilience, with significant effects observed in the sub-factors of control, positivity, and sociability. Additionally, within the sub-factor of interest maintenance, positivity significantly influenced control and sociability. In summary, higher stages of physical activity change in elementary school students were associated with a close relationship between grit and recovery resilience

        수술용 장갑을 사용하여 제거한 날카로운 식도 이물 1예

        Foreign bodies with a sharp margin in the esophagus are often associated with serious complications, such as bleeding, perforation and mediastinitis in the middle of endoscopic removal, as well as impaction in the esophagus wall. Therefore, safe extraction for such patients is essential. The techniques that are performed with an endoscope have been designed with using a protector hood and overtube. Yet the former is not available in Korea, and the later is uncomfortable and limited in diameter. Press-through-packs (PTPs) are commonly used as a package for drugs and they also usually cause esophageal impaction because they have sharp edges. We report here on a case of an impacted PTP in the upper esophagus, and this was successfully extracted endoscopically with using a surgical glove, which is a better safe alternative to above mentioned removal items. 식도의 예리한 이물은 압박에 의해 합병증이 발생할 수 있지만, 내시경으로 제거하는 과정 중에도 출혈, 천공 등 심각한 합병증이 발생할 수 있다. 따라서 안전하게 제거하는 것이 필수적이며 이러한 방법으로 지금까지 overtube, protector hood 등이 사용되어 왔다. Press-through-pack (PTP)은 약 포장 재료로 흔히 사용되는 것으로 날카로운 모서리로 인해 제거에 세심한 주의가 필요하다. 저자들은 상부 식도에 걸린 PTP를 수술용 장갑을 사용하여 기존의 보고와는 다른 방식으로 안전하게 제거한 1예를 문헌 고찰과함께 보고한다.

        Window 밀폐형 광 커넥터의 허용 공차에 관한 연구

        In this paper, a study is conducted on the acceptable tolerance of an alignment device to reduce the optical loss caused by the alignment tolerance ofa window hermetic optical connector. To increase the transmission distance of optical signals and fiber-optic communication systems, it is necessary to maintain and improve the high optical efficiency of the connectors used to bond optical fibers. In the case of the window hermetic optical connector, the optical system is aligned through an alignment device. At this time, since the two connectors are used together, each component is fixed, andfurther alignment is impossible. The alignment tolerance of the housing system and pin used to align the optical system of the connector causesoptical loss, leading to serious problems in the fiber-optic communication system. Thus, to find the acceptable tolerance required for manufacturingthe optical-connector alignment device, tolerance analysis is performed on the components of the optical connector, such as the ball lens and the window. We also implement single-mode and multimode optical-connector systems, respectively. Based on the results, we determine an acceptable tolerance value for the alignment device.
