Cerebral developmental venous anomaly (DVA) is generally benign. However, we have experienced two cases of DVAcausing symptoms. In the first case, the patient demonstrated DVA with venous infarction. DVA was visualized in thearterial phase using digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and was diagnosed as arterialized DVA. The second casepresented as transient right homonymous hemianopia. DSA revealed venous congestion; the transient aggravation ofvenous congestion may have caused the symptom. DSA is useful for diagnosing the pathomechanism of symptomaticDVAs.

With the spread of renewable energy, the accuracy of load forecasting has been getting worse. The main cause of error in load forecasting is that the effect of behind-the-meter(BTM) generation is not well considered. In order to improve the accuracy of short-term load forecasting(STLF), the effects of weather factors on load forecasting should be systematically analyzed. A load forecasting model based on deep neural networks is used for analysis. There are several weather factors which are temperature, humidity, wind speed, solar radiation, cloud cover, precipitation, and precipitation probability, etc. Main purpose of the study is finding a combination of weather factors that have a good effect on improving STLF. The load forecast is performed from 2016 to 2018 to analyze forecast errors by using various weather factor combinations in case studies. The test results show that the case of using temperature, solar radiation, and precipitation as input data for weather is the most accurate among the nine case studies in STLF. The mean absolute percentage error(MAPE) at that case is 1.46% for the case studies from 2016 to 2018

Follicular lymphoma (FL) is one of the most common non-Hodgkin's lymphomas in the United States, but it is relatively rare in Asia. FL typically arises in lymph nodes together with spleen, liver, and bone marrow involvement. So, primary extra-nodal FL without peripheral nodal involvement is rare. Histologically, it shows nodular aggregates of lymphoma cells and positivity for CD 10, CD 20 and bcl-2. Not only the stage, but also the grade is associated with the survival rate. Grade 3 FL presents a worse prognosis than does grade 1 and 2 FL and this should be treated with an anthracycline based CHOP regimen. We report here on a case of primary follicular lymphoma arising in the rectum; this was observed in a 58-year-old woman who complained of anorexia, dyspepsia and diarrhea. (Korean J Gastrointest Endosc 2006; 33:285-288) 소포 림프종(follicular lymphoma)은 미국에서는 가장 흔한 비호지킨 림프종 중 하나이지만 동양에서는 드물다. 대부분의 경우 림프절에서 발생하며 림프절 침범 없이 원발성 위장관 림프종으로 진단되는 경우는 매우 드물다. 조직학적으로는 결절을 형성하는 림프종 세포들이 보이며, 면역 조직 화학 검사에서 bcl-2에 양성을 보인다. 소포 림프종에서는 병기뿐만 아니라 조직학적 등급도 예후에 영향을 미친다. 3등급인 경우 예후가 불량하여 고위도 림프종(high grade lymphoma)과 마찬가지로 anthracycline을 기본으로 한 CHOP 항암 요법이 필요하다. 저자들은 식욕부진, 소화불량, 설사로 내원한 58세 여자 환자에서 직장에 발생한 원발성 소포 림프종 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고한다.

Objective Among the pediatric population with minor head trauma, it is difficult to determine an indication for the usage of brain computerized tomography (CT). Our study aims to compare the efficiency of the most commonly used clinical decision rules: the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN) and Canadian Assessment of Tomography for Childhood Head Injury 2 (CATCH2). Methods This retrospective study investigated whether the PECARN and CATCH2 rules were applicable to Korean children with minor head trauma for reducing the use of brain CT imaging, while detecting intracranial pathology. Results Overall, 251 patients (0–5 years old) admitted to emergency rooms within 24 hours of injury were included between August 2015 to August 2018. The performance results are as follows: the PECARN and CATCH2 rules had a sensitivity of 80.00% (51.91%–95.67%) and 100% (78.20%–100.00%) with a specificity of 28.39% (22.73%–34.60%) and 15.25% (10.92%–20.49%), respectively; the negative predictive values were 98.58% and 100%, respectively. Overall, the CATCH2 rule was more successful than the PECARN rule in detecting intracranial pathology; however, there was no significant difference between them. Furthermore, the PECARN and CATCH2 rules lowered the rate of head CT imaging in our study group. Conclusion Both the rules significantly lowered the rate of indicated brain CT. However, since the CATCH2 rule had higher sensitivity and negative predictive value than the PECARN rule, it is more appropriate to be used in emergency rooms for detecting intracranial pathology in children with minor head trauma.
정상인의 하승모근 전기자극 시 견관절 자세에 따른 견봉상완 거리에 미치는 영향

Since the weakening of lower trapzius affects acromiohumeral distance (AHD), it can be expected that subacrominal impingement symptom can be improved when electrical stimulation is given. Therefore, AHD is closely related to subacromial impingement. The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in AHD on 40 healthy subjects (26 females and 14 males) according to electrical stimulation apply to lower trapezius and 4 different postures of shoulder joint. All participants were measured with ultrasonography before and after the application of electrical stimulation to lower trapezius in shoulder neutral position, 60 degrees abduction, 60 degrees flexion, and 60 degrees scaption. For all subjects AHD showed a significantly increase of the lower trapezius in the each 4 different postures (p<.05). However, when during electrical stimulation, there was no change in differences of AHD according to each postures. In females, showed the biggest AHD in 60 degrees elevation on scapular plane and AHD difference is the biggest in neutral position. Based on this study, we have proven that the AHD increases when electrical stimulation is applied to the lower trapezius and females showed the biggest AHD figures in 60 degrees scaption posture. In addition, the AHD difference is the biggest in neutral position. We hope that this could provide a meaningful insight in clinical treatment of subacromial impingement patients.
심층 신경망을 이용한 동 하계 최대 전력수요의 앙상블 예측 방법

It is important to accurately forecast the peak load for winter and summer to maintain an adequate reserve power and operate a stable power system. Deep neural networks are used to forecast the peak load for winter and summer, which reflect the periodic features of load and factors that have nonlinear relationship with load. For the mid-term load forecasting model using deep neural networks, the model structure is improved to a deep neural network forecasting model in which the long short-term memory(LSTM) layer and the fully-connected(FC) layer are connected in parallel. The forecast models using deep neural networks are classified into an average temperature model, a highest temperature model, and a lowest temperature model according to the type of input data. The proposed ensemble model is a model in which the structure of deep neural network is improved and the monthly optimal weight is applied to the three models according to the type of the temperature input. The proposed ensemble model has improved the mean absolute percentage error(MAPE) and the variance of MAPE than the multiple linear regression model and the forecast model which are trained using various temperature.
