Rhizopus oryzae KCTC 11970을 이용한 푸마르산 생산조건의 최적화

This work was developed in several steps to find the optimum conditions of fumaric acid production by Rhizopus oryzae KCTC 11970 in flask culture. Six different carbon sources and eleven nitrogen sources were tested. CaCO_3 was used as a neutralizing agent to control pH of medium. The optimum carbon source and nitrogen source were glucose 70 g/L and ammonium sulfate 0.4 g/L, respectively. At this optimum condition, the fumaric acid concentration, yield, and volumetric productivity were 19.33 g/L, 52.8%, and 0.32 g/L/h, respectivity, after fermentation time of 60 hr.

Mechanical engineering educational survey for graduating seniors has been conducted in school of mechanical engineering, precision mechanical engineering and vehicle engineering to improve educational program objectives, accomplishment and curriculum. The questionnaire is prepared for according to KCUE(Korean Council For University Education) estimated criteria and 12 outcomes of the ABEEK(Accreditation Board of Engineering Education in Korea) accredited criteria. And the contents of questionnaire consist of engineering education ability, design ability, experiment and exercise, and etc.. The collected data have been analyzed statistically based on 12 outcomes of the ABEEK accredited criteria to estimate how much students are satisfied with the current engineering education. Its results help professors to setup the directions of education and to teach the proper subjects. The analysis results show that the current engineering educational objectives need to be modified to satisfy the ABEEK accredited criteria and engineering curriculum restructuring is inevitable to include more design and experiment/exercise courses.
파이프 절단공구의 형상과 가공조건이 Burr형성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

The experimental investigation has been made to prevent the burrs produced on inner side of pipe in turning operation. The correlations between cutting conditions and burr size and a mechanism of burr formation are discussed. The results are as follows : 1) There are two types of burrs. One is named a primary burr which has the height nearly proporional to width of tool. Another is a secondary burr, which is smaller than the primary burr produced by breaking of primary burrs. 2) The basic mechanisms of burr formation are tear type and roll over type burrs. 3) The small size burrs are produced at small feed rate, small and negative front cutting shape angle.
Inconel 718의 절삭성 개선을 위한 플라즈마 고온 절삭 가공법에 관한 연구

An experimental study of hot machining has performed to improve the machinability of Inconel 718. This experiment used plasma arc for hearing materials and Whisket-reinforced aluminum oxide ceramic tool insert. An assembled plasma heating system are described and experimental results obtained from both conventional and plasma hot machining of Inconel 718 are compared. The experiment with plasma heating demonstrated the following effectiveness. 1) The cutting force was reduced with increasing surface temperature of workpiece from 450℃ up to 720 as much as approximately from 20 to 40%. 2) Surface roughness(Ra) was improved by as much as a factor 2 in case of one pass cutting with new oeramic tool inserts. 3) The depth of cut notch wear at primary cutting tool was significantly reduced.
