        수업에서의 동영상 활용에 대한 연구 동향 분석

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the research trends of the contextual characteristics of the school (by school level and subject), instructional methods, and effects of using videos in class since 2000. To this end, KCI listed and candidate thesis were collected among the academic journal articles published in Korea that studied young, elementary, and secondary school-age students after 2000. The keyword search method was used for data collection, and the final 69 articles were selected. As a result of the analysis, thesis that studied the learning effect in the affective domain was the most type of research. Also, the most types of research include elementary school in the school level, creative experience activity in the subject, film drama and animation as for the video type, and a mixed type using teacher learning guide and student learning tools for the video application method. Based on this study, a teaching-learning strategy and active learning environment that considers environmental characteristics including school level, subject and learner characteristics, media accessibility, etc. in the context of a new type of school instruction in which distance and school classes are currently being conducted concurrently. 본 연구는 2000년 이후 수업에서의 동영상 활용의 학교 맥락(학교급, 교과), 활용 유형 및 방법과 효과에 대한 연구 동향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2000년 이후의 유, 초, 중등 학령기 학생을 연구대상으로 연구한 국내 학술지 논문 중 KCI 등재 및 등재 후보 논문 69편을 선정하였다. 분석 결과, 학교급에서는 초등, 교과에서는 창의적 체험활동, 동영상 유형은 영화 드라마 및 애니메이션, 동영상 활용 방법은 교사학습안내 및 학생학습도구 활용 혼합형, 학습효과는 정의적 영역의 학습 효과를 연구한 논문이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 분석 결과, 현재 원격 수업과 등교 수업이 병행적으로 이루어지고 있는 새로운 형태의 학교 수업의 상황에서 학교급, 교과 및 학습자의 특성, 매체 접근성 등을 포함한 환경적 특성을 고려한 교수 학습 전략 및 능동적 학습 환경이 탐색될 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.

        가정용 냉장고 내부 표면에서 로타바이러스의 검출과 유전형 분석

        Background: Rotavirus is the leading cause of acute viral gastroenteritis, particularly in children, and is transmitted through the fecal-to-oral route by contaminated food or the environment. This study examined the contamination of the inner surfaces of domestic refrigerators with pathogens causing gastroenteritis. Methods: Swab specimens from shelf surfaces of freezers and refrigerators were collected from 10 domestic refrigerators. Multiplex PCR for bacterial and viral pathogens causing acute gastroenteritis was performed. The VP7 and VP4 genes of rotavirus were amplified and then analyzed by DNA sequencing. Results: Rotavirus was detected in five domestic refrigerators in the same apartment complex. All rotavirus samples showed the G1 genotype and the same DNA sequences. No pathogens causing acute gastroenteritis were identified in the other five domestic refrigerators. Conclusions: The inner surfaces of domestic refrigerators can be contaminated with pathogens causing acute gastroenteritis, such as rotavirus. Attention should be given to the hygiene of refrigerators. To estimate the contamination or hygienic status for food storage, testing for viral pathogens combined with ordinary bacterial cultures may be necessary. 배경: Rotavirus는 주로 소아에서 장염을 일으키는 바이러스로 식품이나 환경과의 접촉을 통해 분변-구강 경로로 전염된다. Rotavirus가 생활 환경에 오염 되는 경우에도 감염원이 될 가능성이 있다. 이 연구는 분자진단법을 사용하여 가정용 냉장고 내부 표면에서 급성위장관염을 유발할 수 있는 미생물의 오염 여부를 확인하기 위하여 시행하였다. 방법: 10가구의 가정용 냉장고에서 냉장실과 냉동실 표면의 도말검체를 얻었고, multiplex PCR을 이용하여 급성위장관염을 유발할 수 있는 세균과 바이러스 검출을 시행하였다. Rotavirus가 검출된 경우 VP7, VP4 유전자에 대한 PCR과 유전자염기서열분석을 시행하여 G 유형과 P 유형을 분석하였다. 결과: 동일한 아파트 단지에 위치한 5가구의 냉장고에서 rotavirus가 검출되었다. Rotavirus 유형은 G1이었으며 모두 동일한 염기서열을 보였다. 다른 도시에 위치한 5가구에서는 급성위장관염을 유발하는 미생물이 검출되지 않았다. 결론: 가정용 냉장고 내부는 급성위장관염을 유발하는 미생물이 오염될 수 있으며, 일부 냉장고에서 rotavirus가 검출되어 위생상 주의가 필요하다. 식품보관장소의 오염이나 위생상태를 추정하기 위해서는 일반적인 세균배양법 외에도 급성위장관염을 유발하는 바이러스를 검사할 필요가 있을 것으로 생각한다.

        장기이식 거부반응과 자가면역질환 치료제로서의 CAR Treg 세포치료제의 가능성: Treg 세포치료제 임상시험 현황과 CAR T 세포치료제 허가 정보를 바탕으로

        Regulatory T cells (Treg) naturally rein in immune attacks, and they can inhibit rejection of transplanted organs and even reverse the progression of autoimmune diseases in mice. The initial safety trials of Treg against graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) provided evidence that the adoptive transfer of Treg is safe and capable of limiting disease progression. Supported by such evidence, numerous clinical trials have been actively investigating the efficacy of Treg targeting autoimmune diseases, type I diabetes, and organ transplant rejection, including kidney and liver. The limited quantity of Treg cells harvested from peripheral blood and subsequent in vitro culture have posed a great challenge to large-scale clinical application of Treg; nevertheless, the concept of CAR (chimeric antigen receptor)-Treg has emerged as a potential resolution to the problem. Recently, two CAR-T therapies, tisagenlecleucel and axicabtagene ciloleucel, were approved by the US FDA for the treatment of refractory or recurrent acute lymhoblastic leukemia. This approval could serve as a guideline for the production protocols for other genetically engineered T cells for clinical use as well. The phase I and II clinical trials of these agents has demonstrated that genetically engineered and antigen-targeting T cells are safe and efficacious in humans. In conclusion, both the promising results of Treg cell therapy from the clinical studies and the recent FDA approval of CAR-T therapies are paving the way for CAR-Treg therapy in clinical use.

        비강내 Staphylococcus aureus의 집락화와 esp 양성Staphylococcus epidermidis의 영향에 대한 연구

        Background: Staphylococcus aureus is a common colonizer of the nasal vestibule andis found in approximately 20%–30% of healthy adults, while Staphylococcus epidermidisappears to be the most frequent colonizer in all regions of the upper respiratory tract. Esp, aserine protease of S. epidermidis, was reported to inhibit S. aureus colonization. This studywas performed to examine the nasal colonization of S. aureus and S. epidermidis and thepresence of esp determinants. Methods: Nasal swab specimens from 54 patients were cultured on blood agar plates (BAP)and selective media for S. aureus (S. aureus ID, bioMerieux, France) for the isolation of S. aureus and S. epidermidis. After 48 hours of incubation of with BAP, three or four coloniessuspected of being coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS) were identified by MALDI-TOFMS (Bruker, Germany). Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for esp was performed on all CNSisolates identified as S. epidermidis. Results: Forty-three S. epidermidis strains were isolated from 18 (33.3%) of the 54 patients. Nine (50.0%) of the 18 patients carried S. aureus, while the other nine did not. Of the 36 S. epidermidis non-carriers, 13 (36.1%) were colonized by S. aureus. All S. epidermidis strainswere confirmed by PCR to have esp determinants. Conclusion: S. epidermidis colonization did not affect S. aureus colonization in the nasalcavity. All S. epidermidis strains harbored the esp gene. We could not find any differencesin the nasal colonization rates of S. aureus according to the presence of esp -positive S. epidermidis. Further research on the characterization of S. epidermidis in Korea is needed tounderstand the association between S. epidermidis and S. aureus colonization.

        Complete STK11 Deletion and Atypical Symptoms in Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome

        Dear Editor, Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS) is an autosomal-dominant disease characterized by gastrointestinal polyposis and mucocutaneous pigmentation. The gene involved in PJS is mapped to chromosome 19p13.3 and encodes a serine-threonine protein kinase (STK11) known as LKB1 [1, 2]. Here, we report a PJS patient with unique phenotypic features who had heterozygous deletions spanning exons 1–10 of STK11 gene.

        A Case of Septic Shock caused by Achromobacter xylosoxidans in an Immunocompetent Female Patient after Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy for a Ureteral Stone

        Achromobacter xylosoxidans can cause various types of infections, but its infection in humans is rare. A. xylosoxidans has been reported as a rare etiological agent of infections including primary bacteremia, catheter-related bloodstream infection, endocarditis, otitis, and pneumonia, particularly in immunocompromised hosts. We encountered a case of septic shock caused by A. xylosoxidans in a 52-year-old, immunocompetent woman with no underlying disease, who received extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy to remove a left upper ureteral stone. She was treated with antibiotics to which the organism was susceptible but died as a result of septic shock.
