SJO¨GREN'S SYNDROME 환자에게 즉시 임프란트 술식을 행한 치험례

The old edentulous patients experience xerostomia commonly. They have considerable difficulty in wearing tissue-supported prosthesis and high risk rate of caries. One of them is Sj□gren's syndrome patient. Sj□gren's syndrome is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder that results in a lymphocyte-mediated destruction of exocrine glands. We planned to place implants immediately after extraction in this case of autoimmune disease. The advantages of immediate implant placement include considerable decrease in time from tooth extraction to placement of the final prosthesis, fewer surgical procedures, and better acceptance of the overall treatment plan. We present a case of Sj□gren's syndrome patient treated with immediate implant placement & immediate loading in anterior region and immediate implant placement in posterior region.
불안정 지지면을 이용한 운동 프로그램이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 뇌졸중 환자의 재활을 위하여 불안정 지지면을 이용한 운동 프로그램이 균형 능력과 운동 기능 능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 불안정 지지면의 이용한 치료는 임상적으로 뇌졸중으로 인한 편마비 환자뿐만 아니라 스포츠 손상 및 노인들의 질환 등 다양한 병인을 가진 환자들의 치료에 이용되고 있다. 대부분의 뇌졸중 환자들은 재활 훈련을 할 수 있는 병원이나 기관에서 치료를 받을 때에 지지면의 차이를 제공함으로써 보다 더 안정한 지지면에서 적응할 수 있는 방법이 요구되고 있다. 하지만, 아직도 불안정 지지면을 이용한 구체화된 치료적 운동 방법과 객관적 평가에 대한 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 최근 뇌졸중 환자의 불안정 지지면과 이론적 근거를 바탕으로 한 운동 프로그램에 대한 연구가 더욱 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 실험군과 대조군이 같은 운동 프로그램을 적용하였을 때, 두 그룹 간에서 나타나는 균형 향상과 운동 기능 향상에 어떠한 효과를 주는지 살펴보고자 하였다. The purpose of this article was to study the effect of the exercise programme that uses the unstable supporting surface to rehabilitate cerebrovascular patients on balance ability and exercise function ability. The therapy is being clinically used for the patients with diverse pathological factors such as hemiplegia caused by CVA, sports injury, and diseases in the elderly. when most patients with CVA are treated in the hospital or institute that can provide rehabilitation training, they need to be given the way to adjust more stable surpporting surface by being provide with various stages of surface. However, the actual therapeutic exercises is still needed and the study for objective assessments wants conducting. To solve these problems, the study of unstable surface exercise programmes based on the evidences recently need to be made for the patients with CVA. in this study, we intend to look into what effects on the balance improvement and the exercise function are different from the experimental group to the control group with the same programme applied to the two groups.

實驗流體의 수평 온도차를 12C로 유지하고 상대높이가 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9인 장애물을 설치한다. 그리고 회전속도를 2.0rpm에서 0.2rpm까지 증가시켜 장애물의 높이에 따른 轉移點의 변화를 분석했다. 위의 실험으로 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 중간 높이 이하의 장애물은 유체의 흐름을 불안정하게 하는 효과가 있고, 그 이상 높이의 경우는 흐름을 안정하게 하는 효과가 있다. It is mounting each obstacle's height, which is 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 with horizontal temperature difference of experimental fluid maintained 12 C in an annulus rotating. At velocity from 2.0rpm each more 0.2rpm, the effect of this obstacle on the change of transition point was analyzed. From about experiment, these conclusions were drawn: Obstacle in less than middle height of fluid had a destabilizing effect, while obstacle in more than middle height of fluid had a stabilizing effect.

Objective The main aim of this study was to evaluate cancer antigen 125 (CA125)/carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) ratio (CCR), as a reliable marker to differentiate ovarian mucinous carcinoma from other epithelial ovarian carcinomas (EOCs), namely serous, clear cell, and endometrioid carcinomas. Methods Female patients suffering from different kinds of EOCs whom were subjected to elective surgery at the Gangnam Severance Hospital between January 2008 and December 2016, were included in this study. The serum levels of CA125 and CEA were assayed using commercially available kits per the manufacturer's instructions. Results The CCR in mucinous carcinoma (mean 32.1) was significantly lower than that of clear cell (mean 235.0) and endometrioid carcinoma (mean 427.0) in stage I (all P<0.05). In stage II-IV, CCR in mucinous carcinoma (mean 37.6) was significantly lower than that of serous carcinoma (mean 148.0) (P<0.01). The sensitivity and specificity of CCR in detecting mucinous carcinoma from other types of EOC was 75.0% and 77.5%, respectively in stage I and 100.0% and 84.4%, respectively in stage II-IV (both cut-off value <90.7). Conclusion The present results suggest that pretreatment CCR might provide higher specificity and clinically relevant information as a criterion for the differentiation between ovarian mucinous carcinoma and other types of EOC.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is grown worldwide in subtropical and tropical regions and primarily used as a spice and medicinal plant. Despite the economic importance of ginger, research on its molecular aspects is limited. Moreover, although ginger is mainly cultivated through vegetative propagation owing to poor flowering and infertility, few molecular markers have been identified to distinguish cultivars. In this research, we developed five Cleaved Amplified Polymorphic Sequence (CAPS) markers that can distinguish between the “Bongdong” ginger (Bg) cultivar, indigenous to South Korea, and the Chinese imported ginger (Cg) cultivar through reference sequencing based on the recently reported complete genome information of ginger. Furthermore, the integrated application of the five CAPS markers allow us to distinguish between Bg, Cg, and Indonesian ginger. Among them, the ClaI-based CAPS marker was identified as specific to Bg cultivars. Therefore, TaqMan real-time PCR based on ClaI-based CAPS can be widely used to distinguish between Bg and Cg cultivars. This study is the first to report the development of genome-based single-nucleotide polymorphism markers in ginger and therefore provides important information for the breeding and conservation of ginger.
