Ehler' s-Danlos syndrome or cutaneous asthenia (also known as rubber puppy disease) is an uncommon, inherited connective tissue disorder characterized by loose, hyperextensible, fragile skin. The defect has been recognized in both dogs and cats as well as in humans, mink, cows, sheep and horses. The underlying defect is in the synthesis and/ or maturation of type I collagen and as a result of lack of vascular support. Affected animals often experience subcutaneous hematomas that have long bleeding times. A 4-year-old Yorkshire terri or had a hip dislocation, and another had bilateral medial patellar luxation (grade II), subcutaneous hematomas produced by minimal trauma, and generalized periodontitis. Dogs were diagnosed with symptoms described for Ehler' s-Danlos syndrome by the clinical and histological findings in the skin. And then skin samples were examined clinically by calculating the skin extensibility index. Skin biopsies obtained from the dorsum were examined by light microscopy. Histologically, there was a diffuse moderate in the dermis layer and a loose moderate in the hypodermis layer.

Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been panedemic and remains one of the most commom STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods: For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results: In 1996, 139 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 53(39.0%) were PPNG. Conclusion: Our results suggests that after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is gradually declining.

XENIX OS에서 TERMINAL을 이용한 조합형한글 구현에 관한 연구

제닉스 시스템의 커널에서는 한글을 읽거나 쓸수가 없으며 한글을 구현하기 위해 바이어스콜이나 비디오램을 직접 억세스하는 등의 컨트롤이 허용되지 않는다. 그러나 제닉스 시스템의 입, 출력 시스템을 잘 살펴보면 한글을 사용하기 위한 해결점을 찾을 수 있다. 영문 제닉스는 키보드에서 입력되는 8비트 코드에서 최상위비트를 무시하여 7비트로 스트립 시키는데 이것을 막고 제닉스가 FOH~FFH까지의 코드를 제어 코드로 사용하지 못하게 함으로써 모든 한글을 터미널상에서 사용 할 수 있게 된다. 한편 제닉스의 표준 메일을 이용 할때에는 80H 이상의 코드가 입력되면 모두 \와 8진수의 조합으로 변경시켜서 출력하는 C함수를 사용하기 때문에 이부분을 수정하고 한글 에코 명령이 포함된 쉘 스크립은 8진코드로 바꾸어 주는 소오스를 활용함으로서 제닉스에서 터미널을 이용한 조합형 한글의 구현이 완벽하게 이루어졌다. Hangul can't be read and used from the kernel of XENIX system. To embody Hangul, the control of direct access of BIOS call or video RAM is not permitted. But a solution to use Hangul can be found through the search of input and output system of XENIX system. English XENIX OS disregards MSB from 8bit code inputting from key board and strip 7 bit. To prevent this, stty-istrip command is used. And by using stty-ixion command not to use control code from FOH to FFH of XENIX, All of Hangul can be used at the terminal. To satisfy these conditions stty-istrip-ixon command is inserted at each user's profile. While sending the letter through the standard mail of XENIX, /user/lib/mail. local program is available. then Hangul is not supported on mail. local, the reason is that if the code over ASCII code 80H is inputted in the mail. local program. C function outputting through the change into the combination of all \and octal number is used, but by modifying mail. local, all of Hangul can be available, and the shell script containing Hangul echo command can treat Hangul at the terminal by using convc source which change source to octal code. In this way combinated Hangul using the terminal from XENIX OS ard completely embodied.

In this paper, a single phase AC-DC full-bidge PWM converther operating as UPS is proposed which has a unity power factor and ripple compensation. The control algorithm, continuous input current. The simulation and exprementation results are included to verify the validity of this approach

총상 섬유조직구성 종양 1례 보고

Objective : Plexiform fibrohistiocytic tumor is a rare mesenchymal neoplasm of intermediate malignancy. It has a predilection for children and young adults but can occur at any age. The tumor usually involves the upper limbs as a slow-growing, painless mass. Histologically, the tumor is characterized by poorly demarcated dermal or subcutaneous mass with multinodular plexiform growth and fibrohistiocytic cytomorphology. There are three distinct recognized growth patterns: fibrohistiocytic, fibroblastic, and mixed types. The tumor displays uniform immunoreactivity for vimentin and CD68. Only 3 cases are reported in Korea and we present a case of plexiform fibrohistiocytic tumor with literature review. Methods : An 8-year–old female presented an reddish indurate mass on left chest wall. Considering the linear shape the mass was excised elliptically with safety margin 1cn under the impression of mastocytoma or hemangioma. The specimen was sent to pathologic department and the defect was repaired primarily. Results : Pathologic report confirmed plexiform fibrohistiocytic tumor and all margins were negative. There were no evidences of recurrence after surgical excision. Local lymph node enlargement and lung metastasis were not detected for 10 month follow up period. Conclusion : The tumor has a high local recurrence rate but metastasizes only rarely. Complete surgical resection of the tumor, preferably with wider margins, is required to prevent local recurrence. Long-term follow-up is necessary to detect any nodal or pulmonary metastasis.

황을 포함한 물질 속에서 루테늄의 전기화학적 행동

황을 포함한 물질(티오우레아와 루비안산) 존재하에서 루테늄의 전기화학적 행동을 연구하였다. 루테늄-티오우레아계에서는 수소촉매전류가 흐르는 반면 루테늄-루비안산계에서는 균일촉매전류가 흘렀다. 사전농축과 촉매작용이 더 큰 루테늄-티오우레아계에서 0.015M 아세트산 완충용액(pH 4.0) 티오우레아 농도 1.0×10^(-6)M, 누적전위 -0.2V 그리고 누적시간 2분일 때 루테늄의 검출한계는 9.0×10^(-9)M이었다. Electrochemical behaviors of Ruthenium were investigated in Sulfur-containing compounds. It was found that Ruthenium-Thiourea system produce a catalytic hydrogen current and Ruthenium-Rubeanic acid system cause a homogeneous catalytic current. Thus more pronounced effect of accumulation and catalysis were displayed in Ruthenium-Thiourea system. The detection limit was 9.0×10^(-9)M Ruthenium at 0.015M acetated buffer (pH 4.0), 1.0×10^(-6)M Thiourea, accumulation potential of -0.20V and 2min, accumulation period.

초음파 펄스에코 데이터 기반 3차원 시각화 방법론

The nondestructive testing using ultrasonic pulse-echo data is an effective test methodology esperially for metal structure. Typically, the ultrasonic pulse-echo data is processed and the results are shown in A-scan, B-scan or C-scan formats. Upon viewing B-scan and C-scan data the viewer is able to identify the location of faults as well as their rough dimension. In this paper, we evaluate the applicability of various 3-D visualization methods frequently used in medical imaging, namely, surface rendering (SR), volume rendering (VR) and maximum intensity projection (MIP), for nondestructive testing purposes. Such 3-D visualization of ultrasonic pulse-echo data enables easier identification of the location and dimension of faults more accurately.

This experiment was conducted to study the effect of Nitrogen and Potassium treatment on growth, yield and content of mineral elements the results were summarized as follows; 1. Growth and Yields were more effective in N treatment with 8g per plant, were more effective in K treatment with 16 me per liter 2.Content of mineral elements in leaves were a lot of N and MG in N treatment, were a lot of P content in K treatment. 3. The content of mineral of Petiol, fruit and Xyleme sap. N and K were more contented in petiole, as the others were more contented in Xyleme sap. Ca was contented a little in fruit. 4. Absorption of water was increased in the N treatment with 8g per plants, in the K treatment with 16 me liter. The contents of chlorophyll was increased as the level of Nitrogen was increased in N treatment while, decreased on young leave in K treatment.

바나듐과 크롬의 쿠페론 착물의 전기화학적 행동을 아세트산 완충용액(pH 5.0)과 붕산염 완충용액(pH 9.5)에서 조사해 본 결과 크롬-쿠페론 착물의 환원봉우리전위(E_(ct)^(p))가 쿠페론의 봉우리전위(E₁^(p))보다 작다 (E_(ct)^(P) < E₁^(P)). 붕산염 완충용액에서 크롬-쿠페론계의 전도된 봉우리가 크게 나타나는 것은 E_(ct)^(P)와 E₁^(P)의 차이가 큰 때문인 것으로 생각된다 (ΔE = 0.40V). When the peak potentials of V-cupferron and Cr-cupferron complex compare at both buffer solution(pH 5.0 and pH 9.5), the peak potential of Cr-cupferron(E_(ct)^(P)) is smaller the peak potential of cupferron (E₁^(P)) at both buffer solution (E_(ct)^(p)) < E₁^(p)). The appearance of larger inverted peak of Cr-cupferron in borate buffer solution results from large difference of E_(ct)^(p) and E₁^(p) (ΔE=0.40 V).
