Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods : For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results : In 1997. 99 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 45(45.5%) were PPNG. Conclusion : The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 45.5% in 1997.

In this paper, new calibration technique of the maladjusted stereo cameras using calibrated pixel distance parameter is proposed. The camera calibration in stereo vision systems is a necessary procedure for correct depth computation. Intra and extra parameters should be obtain to determine the relation between image and 3-dimensional world coordination through calibration experiment. One difficulty is in camera alignment for parallel installation: placing two CCD arrays in a plane. No effective methods for such alignment have been proposed till now. Some amount of depth error caused from such non-parallel installation of cameras is inevitable. If the pixel distance parameter which is one of intra parameter is calibrated with known points, such error can be compensated in some amount. Such error compensation effects with calibration technique of the calibrated pixel distance parameter are demonstrated with some experiments and as a results, the effects of the proposed method that used compensated parameters is three times better than that of uncompensed parameter methods.

Purpose: Because studies about the control of penile erection at the entral nervous system was dependent on the animal experiments, establishment of measuring penile erection is important to evaluate the effects changes at the central nervous system on the penile erection. Intracavernous pressure measurement in rats has been introduced as a suitable index for the evaluation of penile erection but this method is invasive and technically difficult. So, we established the intracavernous pressure measurement in rats as the experimental index for penile erection. Materials and Methods: 42 male adult Sprague-Dawley rats (250-300gm) were divided to saline or papaverine treated group. Rats were placed on a heating table to maintain their body temparature and anesthetized with 50mg/kg of pentobarbital sodium by intraperitoneal injection. A cannula was inserted to the left carotid artery to measure systemic blood pressure. Saline (0.05, 0.1ml), papaverine(0.05, 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0mg) were injected intracavernously via 26 guage needle filled with saline or papaverine which connected to pressure transducer and polygraph was inserted into the corpus cavernosum on one side to inject the drug and to measure intracavernous presure. Results: Properly executed insertion and intracavernous administration produced a instantaneous but transient rise in intracavernous pressure that substantially stabilized and maintained at 5.4±0.4mmHg. Intracavernous pressure and duration of penile blood flow following intracavernous injection of papaverine are increased comared to those of saline. Conclusions: Monitoring intracavernous pressure in rats represents a suitable index for the evaluation of penile erection in small laboratory animals.

A new neural network structure called Self-Organized Distributed Networks (SODN) is proposed for developing the neural network-based multi-dimensional system models. The learning with the proposed networks is fast and precise. Such properties are caused from the local learning mechanism. The SODN is a hybrid structure of a learning network and a distribution network. The learning network is composed of a set of subnetworks while the distribution network composed of a set of self-organized units. With this structure, the SODN provides a better interpolation than the conventional locally distributed networks (especially RBF networks). In this paper, comparisons with multilayer neural network and RBF networks have been done through learning of two dimensional terrain elevation data.

The skin is an uncommon site of distant metastasis from any internal malignancy, and the incidence of metastatic skin lesions as the first symptom of disease is only 0.8% in patients with all systemic malignancies. Furthermore, cutaneous metastasis from adenocarcinoma of the stomach has been found to be extremely rare. A 35-year-old female patient was admitted due to multiple cutaneous nodules in her chest, abdomen, and back. A gastroendoscopic examination and biopsy was made according to the results of skin pathologic findings. Stomach and skin biopsy results revealed a signet ring cell type of adenocarcinoma. A case of gastric adenocarcinoma in which metastatic skin nodules appeared as the first sign of disease, is here in reported with a review of related literature.

This research is designed to make a comparative analysis of the types of The effect of sports center users on leisure satisfaction and life Satisfaction. The population of the objects for sports center users on in gyeong gi and from among them 293 people in all are actually employed for the analysis. The survey questionnaires were used to collect the data. The sports center users on leisure satisfaction and life Satisfaction for the data analysis are descriptive statistics analysis, t-test one-way, anova, scheffe, analysis. The conclusion from these are as follow: Firstly, according to sex, age, education, income of a sports center users on partly different leisure satisfaction. secondly, according to sports center users on activity degree leisure satisfaction and life Satisfaction on partly different THirdly, sports center users on activity degree influences in all the subordinate variables 6.0%(R²=.060) of leisure satisfaction. Fourth, sports center users on activity degree influences in all the subordinate variables 23.2%(R²=.232) of leisure satisfaction.

The aim of this study is to stimulate the student's interest in the elementary principles by which we must all live, in the rules which govern our society. Everyone in a democracy should familiarize himself with the laws regulating his daily life. Related to the status of principlal and agent is the relationship of master and servant. A master is usually liable for injuries caused by the wrongful conduct of servants acting within the scope of their employment. When is a person a servant (or an employee) and when is he an independent contractor? A man working for another is a servant or employee when the master or employer has control of the method and means by which the work is done. If the man doing the work, however, retains control over the manner or method of doing the work, he would be held to be an independent contractor and under most circumstances the person for whom the work is being done would not be responsible for negligence or other wrongful acts. Bear in mind that the master(employer) is liable only for injuries caused by the wrongful acts of this servant (employee) when committed "within the scope of his employment"; that is, when they are of the same general nature as that authorized by the employer or are incidental to such employment. Acts of an employee are held to be within the scope of employment only within the particular locality of employment or in a locality not unreasonably distant. If an employee leaves the area of employment or deviates from his regular route for his own personal benefit, he may be acting beyond the scope of his employment. For example, a chauffeur, on an errand for this boss, driving on the left hand side of a double line and greatly exceeding the speed limit is still acting within the scope of employment and his employer may be responsible for the consequences of a serious accident. This rule is important in a majority of States which do not follow the rule that every owner of an automobile is liable for negligence of the person driving the car with the consent or permission of the owner. Finally, this article should assist law students who want an overview of the law of torts.
