        Fungus such as Candida albicans is a normal flora that is frequently found in the oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary tract, vaginal mucosa in a normal person. However, candida can cause opportunistic infection in an immune compromised host. Candidiasis has broad spectrum of disease from mucocutaneous infection to invasive or disseminated infection. But, it is rarely reported that candida is associaed with gastrointestinal tract disease in a healthy adult. The case of gastric ulcer associated with candida particularly in a health adult is reported with relevant literature.

      • Development of a Mobile Application, "Wild Flowers of Bukhansan National Park (version 1.0)", for Identification of Plants in Bukhansan National Park

        We developed the educational purpose mobile application, named "Wild Flowers of Bukhansan National Park (version 1.0)", aiming for easy identification of wild flowers for students and visitors in the park. When visitors find a flower or part of plant in the park, visitors can search for its name utilizing the pictures and characters provided in their own smartphone mobile devices or tablet PCs. The application provides pictures of wild flowers in the park and character-based searching system based on 12 diagnostic features (e.g., growth form, leaf arrangement, flower symmetry, petal color, petal number, sepal number, etc). We adopted the complete floristic survey of Chung and Lee (1962) and added species that we confirmed their distribution in the park during the development of this application. In summary, number of vascular plants in this park was estimated to be 428 taxa including 100 families, 280 genera, 327 species, 1 subspecies, 50 varieties, and 5 formas. We provided a total of 588 pictures representing 358 taxa and each taxon includes multiple pictures in many cases. Included identification quizzes can be an efficient educational tool as well as fun activity for students and visitors who are learning plant species in Korea. Our next step will include GPS function in the application for indicating visitor's location and for providing previously reported sites of the species that we interested in the map of the park. The future application which includes GPS function will be a valuable tool for the monitoring of rare plants, plant researches related to the climate changes, etc. We currently provide Korean iPhone version only, and English version and both of android versions will be serviced soon.

        양주 노고산(老姑山) 독재동(篤才洞)의 장소성과 역사문화경관 해석

        본 연구는 경기도 양주시 장흥면 삼하리 독재동 바위글씨와 노고산의 장소성에 주목하여, 이곳의 경관 및 장소특질을 고찰하고 바위글씨에 담긴 경관의미를 추론함으로써 노고산과 독재동 계곡의 역사문화경관적 함의를 밝히고자 한 것으로 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 삼각산은 조선왕조 6백년 도읍지의 주산(主山)이며 오악(五嶽)을 이루는 중앙의 성산(聖山)으로, 노고산은 삼봉산(三峰山)즉 삼각산의 우람한 세봉우리를 향배하는 의미공간으로서 그 장소성이 획득된다. 더불어 노고산은 조선의 정기를 상징하는 삼각산을 가장 완벽하게 조망할 수 있는 ‘망삼각산(望三角山)’의 절대 시점장이다. 독재동 계곡에 산포(散布)된 다수의 바위글씨는 미수 허목의『고양산수기』의 내용을 현현(顯現)하기 위한 행위이자 경물로 재생산된 산물이다. 그리고 추사 필적의 몽재(夢齋)는 중의적(衆意的) 표현이 읽혀지는 바위글씨로, 먼저 글자 그대로의 뜻인 ‘꿈꾸는 집’ 이지만 내면적 의미는 “한낮 몽상(夢想)도 바탕을 깊이 헤아려 보면 정당성이 확보된다.”는 의미로 ‘몽재거사’로 알려진 성재(性齋) 허전(許傳)의 『몽재집(夢齋集)』서(序)의 내용으로 보아 성재의 독재동 거주와 관련된 징표로 추정된다. 또한 몽재라 쓴 바위 하단의 갑자(甲子)·경오(庚午)·무술(戊戌)·갑인(甲寅) 등의 간지(干支)는 추사와의 교유관계가 있는 1804년 5월생 유생(儒生)의 사주팔자로 판단된다. 노고산과 독재동 계곡은 삼각산을 조망하는 장소일 뿐 아니라 송월재·성재 등 미수의 학통을 계승한 기호지역의 남인학자의 공통된 장구지소로써의 응집력을 보여준다. 또한 이곳에 각자(刻字)된 추사체와 미수체(전서체) 바위글씨는 우리나라 서예사의 큰 흐름을 함축적으로 보여준다는 측면에서도 매우 의미 깊은 역사문화경관이다. This study was focused on the placeness of Nogosan Dokjae-dong and rock inscription located in Jangheung-myeon, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. The purpose was to reveal the implication of Nogosan and Dokjae-dong Valley in terms of Historic cultural landscape by considering the characteristics of the place and its landscape, and inferring the significance of the letters engraved on the rock. The result is as follows.10)Samgaksan is one of the five famous mountains in Korea. It is the sacred mountain that stands behind the capital city of the Joseon Dynasty that lasted for 600 years. On the other hand, the placeness of Nogosan is significant since it was the place where people used to bow low to the three great summits of Samgaksan. Furthermore, Nogosan was the perfect place to view Samgaksan that represented the Joseon spirit.Many letters were engraved on the rocks around Dokjae-dong Valley by Misu(眉수) Heo Mok(許穆) as part of his memories to describe his experience in the mountain and became a scenery. Chusa(秋史) Kim Jung-Hee(金正喜) also engraved letters of ``Mongjae`` on the rock that contains a double meaning. Literally, it means ‘a dreaming house’ However, it also implies that even just a daydream is significant in a way. These letters are presumed to be the signs that are related to Sung-Jae(性齋) Heo Jeon(許傳)’s experience in Dokjae-dong since the letters were part of his famous book title. Below these two letters, Chusa also engraved letters that describe the sexagenary cycle including the year of the rat, horse, dog, and tiger. They are regarded as the letters that describe the fate of Chusa’s friend, a scholar born in May 1804. Nogosan and Dongjae-dong Valley are very significant in terms of historic cultural landscape as a viewpoint to see Samgaksan; and a place that cherishes the traces of Misu and shows common values and cohesiveness of well-known scholars of the Joseon Dynasty including Song Wol-Jae(松月齋) and Sung-Jae as a of Gihonamin(畿湖南人). The engraved letters of Chusa and Misu also implicitly demonstrates the major trends of Korea’s calligraphy history.

        Plate heat exchanger consists of thin, rectangular, pressed sheet metal plates that are sandwiched between full peripheral gaskets and clamped together in a frame. The frame has a fixed end-cover plate, fitted with the connecting ports, which is bolted together with a movable cover plate to hold the embossed plates in between; the top and bottom carrying bars allow proper alignment of the plate stacks. When compared with the well-established shell and tube heat exchangers, the plate heat exchanger shows a lot of advantages like high NTU values, compactness, low cost, multi duties and reduced fouling etc. Plate heat exchangers are often used to transfer heating or cooling water which is produced in the energy production( district heating or district cooling) facilities to residential areas and industrial parks. The district cooling systems of Middle East are the biggest market of plate heat exchanger, but the technical specifications for cooling system are different from the domestic one. To achieve its specifications, the new plate heat exchanger was developed, and its thermal performance results are introduced in this paper.

        In this paper, we propose a program to identify 14 parking status in a parking lot using a high resolution 360° camera of 12M. The proposed program consists of three steps: Match with plane image, parking area detection algorithm, and discrimination of parking using learning method. Tests on a model car to evaluate the program to identify 14 parking status in a parking lot using a high-resolution 360° camera of 12M showed 100% accuracy for both parking and double parking. Therefore, the effectiveness of a program to identify 14 parking status in a parking lot using a high-resolution 360° camera of 12M proposed in this paper has been proved.

        논문 : 국립공원 탐방로 내 위험 급경사지 유지관리 방안 연구

        국립공원은 주로 산악 지형 내 조성되어 있으므로 산사태에 의한 피해 가능성을 항상 내포하고 있다. 본 연구는 산사태 연구의 일환으로 국립공원 탐방로 내 위험 급경사지를 체계적으로 유지관리하기 위한 방안을 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 국립공원에 특화된 자체 체크리스트를 제작하였으며, 전국 19개 국립공원 183개소 급경사지에 대한 실태조사가 이루어졌다. 실태조사의 최종 목적은 위험 급경사지에 대한 안정화 대책을 마련하는 것으로 현장조사와 안정해석의 과정을 거친다. 일부 급경사지에서는 위험성 판단을 위해 지상라이다 등 특수 장비를 이용한 조사를 시도하였다. 중장기 정비계획을 위한 투자우선순위 공식을 개발하였으며, 현장자료를 이용한 순위 및 위험등급을 산출하였다. 최종적으로 위험 급경사지의 향후 체계적인 관리를 위해 “국립공원 급경사지 유지관리시스템”을 개발하였으며, 모든 현장자료들은 시스템 내 DB화 되었다. National parks, which are located mainly in mountainous areas, are always at risk of damage by landslides. The goal of this study is to establish a method for systematically maintaining hazardous steep slopes along trails in national parks. We produced a checklist suitable for each of the 19 national parks nationwide and investigated 183 slopes. The aim of these investigations is to recommend appropriate slope-stability countermeasures, including field investigations and stability analysis. We made preliminary investigations at specific sites, evaluating the slope hazard using specialized equipment such as terrestrial LiDAR. An investment priority formula was developed, and ranking and hazardous grades were calculated as part of a long-term maintenance plan. Finally, to systematically manage dangerous slopes and to house all the field data within one system, we developed the “Slope Maintenance System in National Parks” based on web server that can show various information for slopes.

        LNT를 통해 분석한 국립공원 탐방목적과 산행 윤리 의식의 상관성 : 내장산국립공원 백양사지구와 남창지구를 중심으로

        본 연구는 LNT 항목의 분석을 통해서 산행 목적과 산행윤리의식 사이의 차이를 규명하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해서, 내장산국립공원의 백양사지구와 남창지구를 사례로 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 국립공원 방문목적에 따라서 윤리 의식이 유의한 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 다시 말하면, 산행목적의 탐방객이 행락 목적의 탐방객보다 윤리 의식이 높은 것을 확인할 수 있었다. This study was performed to identify the difference between purpose and ethics consciousness of national park visit through analysis of LNT(Leave No Trace) items. For this, case study was performed in the Baekyangsa and Namchang district in Naejang national park. Study methods were questionnaire and statistic analyses. Through these, the difference of Ethics Consciousness of national park visit according to visit purpose of one was identified. In other words, it was identified that visitors for climbing purpose had higher than those for pleasure-making in Ethics Consciousness of National Park Visit.

      • 풍화암에 근입된 그라운드 앵커의 인발거동 연구

        This study is an numerical study of predicting the behavior of anchor embedded in weathered rocks, subjected to uplift loads, about ultimate pullout capacity and the failure mechanism. Factors influencing the behavior of anchors were investigated by reviewing the data about in0situ anchor tests performing numerical modelling with changing the bondage length of anchor, diameter of anchor body and diameter of tenden, and by Correlations between those factors were evaluated to apply them to predict the behavior of anchors. As results of numerical analysis, a linear relationship between bondage length, diameter of anchor body and diameter of tenden with ultimate pullout capacity was obtained on the one hand, from the result of numerical analysis changing the Young's modulus of weathered rock, this parameter was found to inflence to load-displacement and ultimate pullout capacity within the range of 10%, which was mot so significant to affect.

      • 高濃度에타놀投與가 흰쥐 數種臟器의 酸素消費量과 肺容壓率에 미치는 影響

        Ethanol 投與로 因한 흰쥐 數種臟器의 酸素消費量(QO_2)과 血中乳酸濃度 및 肺容壓率의 變化를 살펴보기 위해서, 흰쥐를 材料로하여 50% ethanol을 體重 100gm 當 1.5㎖ 씩 經口적으로 單回投與하여 1時間에서 24時間까지 經時的으로 肝, 腎, 脾 및 腦組織의 QO_2를 測定하고, 血中乳酸濃度 및 肺容壓率를 測定하여 對照群과 比較하여 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. QO_2는 肝組織에서 對照의 2.11±0.10㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. 에 比해 ethanol 投與後 1∼6 時間에는 有意하게 높았으며, 特히 1 및 3時間에는 各各 2.81±0.15 및 2.82±0.07㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. 로서 最高値를 나타내었다. 腎組織은 對照의 5.33±0.26㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. 에 比해 ethanol投與後 1∼12時間에는 有意하게 높았으며, 그 中 3時間에는 7.47±0.32㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. 로서 最高値를 나타내었다. 腦組織은 對照의 4.20±0.14㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W.에 比해 ethanol 投與後 1∼6時間에는 有意하게 높았으며, 特히 3時間에는 5.53±0.29㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W로서 最高値를 나타내었다. 脾組織은 對照의 3.55±0.13㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W.에 比해 ethanol 投與後 1∼6 時間에는 有意하게 높았으며, 이 中 3時間에는 5.81±0.23㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W로서 最高値를 나타내었다. 卽 肝, 腎, 脾 및 腦組織 모두의 QO_2는 對照値에 比해서 ethanol 投與後 1, 3 및 6時間에 有意하게 높았으며, 이 中 3時間에 最高値를 나타낸 後 漸次 減少하여 12 및 24時間에는 別差異가 없었다. 腎은 12時間까지 有意하게 높았다. 그리고 各 組織의 QO_2의 比較에서 腎이 가장 높고, 다음이 腦, 그리고 脾, 肝의 順으로 나타났다. 血中乳酸濃度는 對照의 12.57±0.47㎎/㎗ 에 比해 ethanol 投與後 1 및 3時間에 各各 24.36±2.70㎎/㎗ 및 22.48±3.21㎎/㎗로서 有意하게 높았으며, 6∼24時間에는 別 差異가 없었다. 血中乳酸濃度 對 QO_2의 比는 對照에 比해 1 및 3時間에는 有意하게 높았고, 6 및 12時間에는 有意하게 낮았다. 組織의 QO_2 對 血中乳酸濃度의 比는 對照에 比해 ethanol 投與後 1時間에 有意하게 높다가 3時間에는 有意하게 낮으며, 다시 6 및 12時間에는 有意하게 높은 후 漸次 낮아져 24時間에는 特히 腎과 脾가 有意하게 낮았다. 組織의 QO_2×血中乳酸濃度에서 對照에 比해 ethanol 投與後 1 및 3時間에는 有意하게 높다가 漸次 減少하여 脾는 12時間에 有意하게 낮았다. 肺容積은 ethanol投與後 1∼2時間에서 낮은 壓力下에서는 대체로 正常보다 낮았고, 높은 壓力下에서는 對照値와 비슷했으며, 24時間에는 모든 壓力下에서 對照와 거의 같은 값을 나타내었다. 肺容壓率은 ethanol投與後 3時間까지 對照보다 增加된 후 그 後 次次 減少하였다. 以上을 綜合해 보면 血中 ethanol 濃度가 0.72gm/㎗ 가 될 程度의 高濃度 ethanol을 投與해서도 QO_2가 增加되며, ethanol投與 1∼3時間에 最高値를 나타낸 事實과 ethanol 投與로 因한 血中乳酸濃度의 增加에서 1時間에 最高値에 達한 점, 그리고 肺容壓率이 ethanol 投與 初期에 增加를 보이고 肺容積이 ethanol 投與後 24時間에 거의 對照値로 되돌아온다는 事實等은 意義있는 結果인 것으로 思料되는 바이다. In order to elucidate the effect of ethanol (EOH) administration on the oxygen consumption rate (QO_2) of some vital organs and lung compliance, ??a single dose of 1.5㎖ of 50% EOH per 100gm of body weight was administered orally to rats, and QO_2 of the liver, kidney, brain and spleen, and blood lactate level and lung compliance were measured from 1 hr to 24 hrs after EOH ingestion. The results were compared with the control group and summarized as follows: QO_2 of the liver was significantly elevated from 1 through 6 hrs after EOH ingestion compared with the control value of 2.11 0.10㎕O_2/hr/㎎ dry weight (D.W. ). The values at 1 and 3 hrs were 2.81±0.15 and 2.81±0.07㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. both being the peak levels, respectively. QO_2 of the kidney was significantly elevated from 1 through 12 hrs compared with the control value of 5.33±0.26㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. The value at 3 hrs showed the heighest value of 7.47±0.32㎕O_2/hr/㎎ D. W. QO_2 of the brain was significantly elevated from 1 through 6 hrs compared with the control value of 4.20±0.14㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. The value at 3 hrs showed the peak level of 5.53±0.29㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. QO_2 of the spleen was significantly elevated from 1 through 6 hrs compared with the control value of 3.55±0.13㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. The peak level was 5.81 0.23㎕O_2/hr/㎎D. W. at 3 hrs. Thus, QO_2 of the liver, kidney, brain and spleen were uniformly elevated after EOH ingestion showing the peak level at 3 hrs and returning to the control level by 12 or 24 hrs. Also, among the studied organs, the kidney showed the highest QO_2 value, followed by the brain, spleen and liver in the order named. The blood lactate was also elevated significantly at 1 and 3 hrs after EOH ingestion, the figures being 24.36 2.70 and 22.48 3.21 ㎎/㎗, respectively, compared with the value of 12.57±0.47 ㎎/㎗. The blood lactate vs. QO_2 ratio was significantly elevated at 1 and 3 hrs after EOH ingestion and was significantly lowered at 6 and 12 hrs aompared with control. The QO_2 vs. blood lactate ratio was significantly elevated at 1 hr after EOH ingestion, significantly lowered at 3 hrs, significantly elevated at 6 and 12 hrs, again significantly in the kidney and spleen, lowered at 24 hrs compared with the control value. The product of QO_2 times the blood lactate was significantly elevated at 1 and 3 hrs after EOH ingestion and gradually lowered subsequently, and significantly lowered in the spleen at 12 hrs compared with the control value. The dynamic lung volume from 1 to 2 hrs after EOH ingestion compared with the control was smaller under lower pressures but similar under higher pressures. At 24 hrs after EOH ingestion it was almost the same as the control under all pressures. The lung compliance was increased until 3 hrs after EOH ingestion but was decreased gradually thereafter. From the above, we should note that the QO_2 is increased by ingestion of EOH as concentrated as 0.72gm/㎗ showing its peak value from 1 to 3 hrs after ingestion, that the blood lactate is increased by EOH ingestion with the peak at 1 hr, and that the lung compliance is increased during the initial period with the dynamic lung volume returning almost to the control value in 24 hrs after EOH ingestion.
