        Experiments were conducted to find out the effects of environmental conditions and some other factors influencing the rooting and growth of mungbean cuttings in 1980 and 1981. More roots were formed in the cuttings grown under high light intensity. However, the effect of auxin(indole butyric acid) was more apparent under led light intensity condition. Removal of the growing point significantly increased the root number, but the removal of 1/2∼1 leaf did not influence the root number. The food seasoning material, Aimi(99.5% sodium-L-glutamate and 0.5% sodium-5'-ribonucleotide), showed auxin-like activities.

        생체용 Ti합금의 양극분극특성에 미치는 Zr 및 Pd의 영향

        The corrosion resistance of Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys were investigated in order to reveal their possible use for new biomedical implant materials. Titanium alloys consisting of 10∼20%Zr, 0.0∼0.4%Pd and 0.15%Cr were prepared by vacuum arc-melting as alloying elements instead of using hardness Al and V in response to recent concerns about the long term safety of Ti-6%Al-4%V ELI alloys. The Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys were heat-treated at 1000℃ for 2hrs under a vacuum atmosphere. The effect of Zr and Pd Ti alloys on the corrosion resistance for biomedical implant was investigating the anodic polarization curve at 37℃ in 5%HCI solution deaerated by high-purity N₂gas bubbling. The critical current density for passivation(I ) of Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys didn't reveal markedly. Passive current density(I ) at 1.0V vs. SCE of this alloys decreased with increasing Zr in the contents from 10 to 20% and decreased with containing Pd in the range from 0.2 to 0.4%. Potential(E ) at 0.1A * m-² of this alloys increased with increasing Zr in the contents from 10 to 20% and increased with containing Pd in the range from 0.2 to 0.4%. For the Co-30%Cr-6%Mo alloy, passivity zone is narrow, and rapid increase of current density result from the low potential in comparison with Ti and Ti alloys. The corrosion resistance by the anodic polarization of Ti-20%Zr-0.2%Pd-0.15%Cr alloy was found to be superior to those of the Ti, Ti-6%Al-4%V alloy and Co-30%Cr-6%Mo alloy. The passive films formed on the Ti-20%Zr-0.2%Pd-0.15%Cr and Ti-6%Al-4%V alloys in the anodic polarization test consist mainly of TiO₂, Ti compound, ZrO₂, Al₂O₃and V₂O₃.

        This experiment was conducted in the three areas of the main park in pusan for four times from March to July, 1987, in order to protect forest injury of field mice. The results were obtained as follow; 1. The species of field mice were Apodemus agrarius coreae, Apodemus speciosus peninsulae, Clethrionomys rufocanus regulue and Crocidura suaveolens shantungensis. 2. Total of 42 field mice collected were composed with 52.4% in Apodemus speciosus peninsulae 30.9% in Crocidura suaveolens shantungensis. 11.9% in Apodemus agrarius coreae, and 4.8% in Clethrionomys regulue. 3. The 42 indivisals of field mice were collected from 1,472 traps. 4. The locational proportions of field mice collected were 1.4%,, 3.8% and 3.5% in Stations, Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ, respecrively. 5. Apodemus speciosus peninsulae and Clethrionomys rufocanus regulue was not collected at the station Ⅰ. 6. The body weight ranged from 22 to 39.9g in Apodemus agrarius coreae, from 12 to 45.9g in Apodemus specious peninsulae, from 22 to 33.9g in Clethrionomys rufocanus regulue, It's average weight was 29.8g in Apodemus coreae and Apodemus Speciosus Peninsulae, and 27.8g in Clethrionomys rufocanus regulue, 7. The ratio of female to male of field mice was 0.6 to 0.4 in Apodemus agrarius coreae, 0.41 to 0.59 in Apodemus speciosus peninsulae, and 0.54 to 0.46 in Clethrionomys rufocanus regulue. 8. The average body length of field mice was 97.8mm in Apodemus agrarius coreae, 97.14mm in Apodemus speciosus peninsulae, and 101.5mm in Clethrionomys rufocanus regulue. 9. The average tail length of field mice was 78.2mm in Apodemus agrarius coreae, 95.23mm in Apodemus speciosus peninsulae, 35.0mm in Clethrionomys rufocanus regulue. 10. The average ear length of field mice was 14.3mm in Apodemus agrarius coreae, 15.77mm in Apodemus speciosus peninsulae, 14.0mm in Clethrionomys rufocanus regulue. 11. The breeding period of field mice was between March and July in pusan area. 12. average fetal number of field mice was 3.0 in Apodemus agrarius coreae, 4.8 in Apodemus speciosus peninsulae, and 4.5 in Crocidura suaveolens shantungensis.

      • 암남공원의 식물상과 삼림식생에 관한 연구

        The objective of this study is to analyze the flora and forest vegetation of Amnam urban natural Park. 10 transects of quadrat of 10×10m were selected for the experiment. They were surveyed from January to October 1997. The obtained results were summerized as follows ; 1. The flora of plants distributed in Amnam Park was 88 families, 245 genus, 374 species. Dicotyledom in an angiosperm was 81.3% of total percentage was 73 families, 194 genus, 304 species, Monocotyledonous plant was 13.9% of total percentage was 7 families, 38 genus, 52 species, Gymnospermous plant was 2.1% of total percentage was 4 families, 5 genus, 8 species. Pteridophyta was 2.4% of total percentage was 3 families. 7 genus, 9 species, Shave grass was 0.3% of total percentage was 1 family, 1 genus, 1 species. 2. The representative wood plants of Amnam Park were Pinus thunbergii, Machilus thunbergii, Camellia japonica, Quercus spp., Celtis sinensis, Morus bombysis, Prunus sangentii, Sorbus alnifolia, Albizzia julibrissin, Juniperus rigida, Platycaya strobilacea, Lespedeza spp., Zanthoxylum piperitum, Zanthoxylum schinifolium, Rhus spp., Carpinus coreana, Mallotus japonicus. Ficus erecta, Pittosporum tobira, Eurya japonica. Elaeagnus macrophylla. 3. The area of plant community in Amnam Park was 84.29% in Pinus thunbergii community. 6.7% in Quercus dentata-Celtis sinensis community, 1.5% in Pittosporum tobira-Eurya japonica community, 1.4% in Quercus aliena-Prunus sargentii community, 1.29% in Pinus thunbergii-Pittosporum tobira community, 1.27% in Pinus thunbergii-Eurya japonica community.

      • 쌍발 복합재 항공기의 세로 안정 미계수 추정

        본 연구의 목적은 비행시험으로부터 항공기의 동적 세로 안정 미계수를 결정하는 것이다. 일반적으로 미계수를 결정하는 방법은 풍동시험 방법, 분석적 방법 그리고 비행시험 방법등으로 나누어진다. 앞의 두가지 방법은 미계수 추정에 있어 많은 제한을 갖고 있으며 추정된 미계수의 유효성에도 문제가 있다. 따라서 비행 시험은 가장 정확한 미계수를 얻을 수 있는 방법이며 반드시 필요한 절차이다. 쌍발 복합재 항공기의 비행시험을 통해 자료를 획득하였고 최대공산법을 이용하여 세로 조종/안정 미계수를 추정하였다. 추정된 미계수를 이용하여 항공기의 운동을 시뮬레이션하여 실제 시험자료와 비교하여 좋은 결과를 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this paper is to find how to determine the longitudinal controllability and stability derivatives from flight test and to display the longitudinal stability of the Twinbee aircraft. There are various methods developed to find the derivatives : wind tunnel testing, predicted result from empirical data, flight test and so on. Among those methods, the estimation from flight test of real aircraft is the most reliable. We performed the flight test of Twinbee and recorded the states of aircraft. Using those states and parameter estimation algorithem based on the Maximum Likelihood (MMLE) criterion, we can estimate the controllability and stability derivatives. In this paper, we will show the process from designing the proper flight test input to estimation of derivatives.

      • 비행시험을 통한 엔진의 실린더 헤드와 배기가스 온도측정

        항공기의 운용에서 엔진의 성능 및 운용범위의 설정은 매우 중요한 사랑이다. 엔진의 기본적인 성능은 제작사에서 제시하지만, 항공기에 장착되어 나타나는 엔진의 운용범위는 비행시험을 통해서만 결정딜 수 있다. 따라서, 운용조건의 설정을 위한 일부로서, 엔진의 실린더 헤드 및 배기가스의 온도를 측정하였다. 이들 온도는 고도 및 출력조건이 미리 정해졌을 때, 혼합비 레버의 변화에 따른 온도를 측정하였고, 이러한 오로 부터, 경제출력과 최대 출력이 나타나는 혼합비 조건을 찾았으며, 정상적인 엔진의 운용을 위한 혼합비 조건을 결정하였다. 본 연구에 이용된 항공기는 창공-91이며, 대상엔진은 Textron-Lycoming사의 IO-360-A계열의 200마력 4기통 피스톤 엔진이다. It is very important ot determine the performance and operation envelope of engine for aircraft's flight. The basic performance is provided by manufacturer, but installed engine's operation envelop is only determined by flight test. First, this paper was measured cylinder head temperature(CHT) and exhaust gas temperature(EGT). At pre-determined altitude and power rate, these temperatures were measured by change of mixture ratio and mixture ratio condiotn for economic operation and max. power were found. Normal operation condition for engine was also found with mixture ratio. Chang-91 and Lycoming IO-360-A series four cylinders engine with 200 hp was used for this paper.

        Airspeed and altimeter calibration of "win Mee was conducted by the flight test. We have adopted system to system method. Flight test data is corrected for instrumented error and position error, and the resultin data was satisfied. Climb Performance flight test also was conducted. But we could not have all data because of limited flight time. The resulted data was satisfied compare with calculated dab.

        Simulation of Gate-All-Around Tunnel Field-Effect Transistor with an n-Doped Layer

        <P>We propose a gate-all-around tunnel field effect transistor (GAA TFET) having a n-doped layer at the source junction and investigate its electrical characteristics with device simulation. By introducing the n-doped layer, band-to-band tunneling area is increased and tunneling barrier width is decreased. Also, electric field induced by gate bias is increased by the surrounding gate structure, which makes it possible to obtain a more abrupt band-bending. These effects bring about a significant improvement in on-current and subthreshold characteristics. GAA TFET with n-doped layer shows subthreshold swing at <I>I<SUB>d</SUB></I> =1nA/µm of 32.5mV/dec, average subthreshold swing of 20.6mV/dec. With comparison to other TFET structures, the merits of the proposed device are demonstrated and performance dependences on device parameters are characterized by extensive simulations.</P>

      • Interaction of Cofilin with Triose-phosphate Isomerase Contributes Glycolytic Fuel for Na,K-ATPase via Rho-mediated Signaling Pathway

        We reported previously that cofilin, an actin-bindingprotein, interacts with Na,K-ATPase and enhances itsactivity (Lee, K., Jung, J., Kim, M., and Guidotti,G.(2001) Biochem.J. 353,377-385). To understand the na-ture of this interaction and the role of cofilin in theregulation of Na,K-ATPase activity, we searched for co-filin-binding proteins in the rat skeletal muscle cDNAlibrary using the yeast two-hybrid system. Several cDNAclones were isolated, some of which coded for triose-phosphate isomerase, a glycolytic ensyme. The interac-tion of cofilin with triose-phosphate isomerase as well asNa,K-ATPase was confirmed by immunoprecipitationand confocal microscopy in HeLa cells. Cofilin wastranslocated to the plasma membrane along with triose-phosphate isomerase by the Rho activator Iysophospha-tidic acid but not by the pl60 Rhe-associated kinaseinhibitor Y-27632, suggesting that the phosphorylatedform of cofilin bound to TPI interacts with Na,K-ATPase.Ouabain-sensitive ^86Rb^+ uptake showed that Na,K-ATPase activity was increaged by the overexpression ofcofilin and Iysophosphatidic acid treatment, but not bythe overexpression of mutant cofilia S3A and Y-27632treatment. Pretreatment with the glycolytic inhibitoriodoacetic acid caused a remarkable reduction of Na,K-ATPase activity, whereas pretreatment with the oxida-tive inhibitor carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenylhydra-zone caused no detectable changes, suggesting that thephosphorylated cofilin is involved in feeding glycolyticfuel for Na,K-ATPase activity. These findings provide anovel molecular mechanism for the regulation of Na,K-ATPase activity and for the nature of the functionalcoupling of cellular energy transduction.
