      • The insect community structure with indicator species along vegetation composition in Is. Nam-hae, South Korea

        An insect faunal survey was carried out to investigate insect community structure along the vegetation community to monitor insect species in forest ecosystem. We performed day and night collections from June to August along three vegetation communities of Is. Nam-hae in 2014: the first stand with Pinus thunbergii, the second P. thunbergii with Quercus serrata and the third P. thunbergii with various Quercus species. In total 2,259 individuals of 532 species, 99 families, 13 orders are identified. Cluster Analyses (CA) showed that all three vegetation communities were relatively similar between vegetation community types. According to indicator species analysis (ISA) result, nine significant indicator species were identified (p < 0.05); five species were found to be affected by the vegetation cluster and four species the month cluster.

        한국인 인슐린 비의존형 당뇨병 및 이차성 당뇨병 환자에서 글루코키나제 유전자 변이

        N/A Objectives: Mutations in the glucokinase (GCK) gene are considered a possible cause of maturity-onset diabetes of the young. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the contribution of this gene to the development of non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM), gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and post-renal transplantation diabetes mellitus (PTDM). Method: Identification of GCK mutation was attempted on 39 NIDDM patients, 2 GDM patients and 58 selected renal allograft recipients with PTDM and 45 normal controls. The exons in the GCK gene were examined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), followed by analysis of single-stranded DNA conformational polymorphism (SSCP). The abnormal bands were also confirmed by DNA sequencing analysis. The exons of affected family members were also investigated for mutations of the GCK gene. Results: Two of the 58 PTDM patients (3.4%) were found to have CKK mutations. One had the mutation on exon 5 and the other on intron 7. One control subject had the mutation on intmn 9. The mutation of exon 5 was identified as a substitution of CCT (proline) for CTT (leucine) at codon 164, which has not ever reported before. The family members of the PFDM patient with mutation of exon 5 were analyzed by PCR followed by SSCP, and two of them revealed the same mutation. The abnormal band on the SSCP analysis of exon 7 was identified as the insertion of base C/T at the 39th nucleotide in intron 7. Two family members of this patients also had same band on SSCP. The one mutation of 45 normal controls was CT located at the 8th nucleotide in intron 9, which was a common polymorphism. Conclusion: We found GCK mutations in subjects with PTDM and we speculate that these mutations may be one of the contributing cause of PTDM.

        검도선수와 사격선수의 시각탐지차이에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 시각탐지과제를 사용하여 주의집중의 유형이 다른 검도선수와 사격선수가 표적자극을 탐지하는데 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝혀보고 시각탐지의 차이를 알아보고자 수행되었다. 실험 모두 시각탐지과제를 사용하였으며, 표적 유형은 배경자극과 방향차원에서 차이나는 방향 표적과 세부특징에서 차이나는 세부특징 표적이었으며, 표적위치는 사사분면으로 구분하였다. 실험 1에서는 표적과 배경자극이 모두 정지되어있는 상황에서의 탐색을 다루었다. 실험 결과, 표적자극에 대한 탐지시간은 표적자극의 유형에 관계없이 사격선수가 검도선수보다 더 빠른 경향성을 보였다. 또한, 방향 표적이 세부특징 표적보다 빨리 탐지되었으며, 제1사분면에 제시된 표적이 가장 빠르게 탐지되는 위치우위성 효과를 보였다. 실험 2에서는 표적과 배경자극이 모두 운동하는 상황에서 표적의 유형과 표적위치가 탐지에 미치는 효과를 다루었다. 자극은 수직방향으로 운동하였다. 그 결과, 사격선수보다 검도선수가 표적유형에 관계없이 더 빨리 표적을 탐지하였다. 위치 우위성효과에서는 실험 1과 약간 차이가 있었다. 제1사분면과 제2사분면에서의 표적탐지가 제3사분면과 제4사분면에서의 표적탐지보다 더 빨랐다. 다가오는 자극에 대한 정체를 빨리 확인하는 것이 멀어져 가는 자극에 대한 정체를 확인하는 것보다 더 생존을 높이기 때문일 수 있다. 또한 검도선수는 세부특징 표적도 빨리 탐지하는 결과를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 움직임을 통한 사물지각의 중요성을 나타낸다고 볼 수 있다. This study was to investigate factors that affect the detection of a target in Gun Shooters and Kendo Masters with visual search experimental paradigm, and to compare visual detection difference between them who was different from attention type. The target was different from the background stimuli in either orientation(orientation target) or distinctive feature(feature target), and was presented in one of the four quartile positions in the Cartesian coordinates. In Experiment 1 where both the target and background stimuli were presented statically. The result of the experiment showed that the target tended to be detected faster in Gun Shooters than Kendo Masters. Also it has been discovered that orientation target was detected faster than feature target. Location priority effect was also found. That is, the targets in the first quartile position were detected faster than those in any other positions. Experiment 2 explored the effect of the target types and locations while both the target and the background stimuli were moving in vertical directions. The results showed that the target was detected faster in Kendo Masters than Gun Shooters. And the location priority effect was also found, but the effect was different in Experiment 1. That is, the targets in the first and the second quartile position were detected faster than those in any other positions. Also it has been discovered that feature target was detected as faster as orientation target in Kendo Masters. This result showed the importance of perception by the movement.

      • DS/CDMA 시스템에서 핸드오프 방식에 따른 얼랑용량과 링크마진 계산에 의한 셀 커버리지

        PCS CDMA 시스템의 역방향 링크에서 핸드오프 기법에 따라 얼랑용량과 링크마진을 구하는 각각의 차단확률을 유도하였다. 동일한 시스템 파라메터로 그 값을 계산해서 COST-231 전파모델을 적용한 전파손실을 구할 때 적용하였으며, 현실적인 셀 최대용량으로 얼랑용량을 계산해 여러 지역에서 셀 커버리지와의 관계를 새로운 관점에서 분석하였다. 소프트핸드오프를 하는 상황에서 E_(b)/N_(o)=5 dB에서 차단확률을 5 %에서 2 %로 낮출 경우 링크마진은 0.88 dB 더 높여야하고 용량이 20 얼랑에서 2 얼랑 감소함에 따라 도시지역의 셀 커버리지도 0.1 km 줄어들지만 신뢰성과 서비스품질을 높일 수 있었다. 차단확률 5 % 이내에서 E_(b)/N_(o)=7 dB에서 5 dB로 낮게 적용할 경우 마진은 똑같이 2.8 dB로 적용해도 용량은 11 얼랑에서 9 얼랑 증가와 함께 커버리지도 1.5 km에서 0.2 km 증가하였다. 이때 하드핸드오프에 비하면 2.16 dB의 마진을 더 줄일 수 있어 10 얼랑 증가와 함께 0.22 km 늘어나는 소프트핸드오프 이득이 발생하였다. 또한 핸드오프를 하지 않는 단일 셀 경우에 비해서는 용량은 10 얼랑 이상 감소하지만 1.31 dB의 마진을 줄일 수 있어 셀 커버리지도 0.17 km 증가하였다. We derive the outage probability for the Erlang capacity and link margin according to handoffs in the reverse link of a PCS CDMA system, calculate them with the same parameters, and then analyze newly the cell coverage with the maximum realizable Erlang capacity in different areas by the COST-231 model. If it decreases from 5 % to 2 % in case of E_(b)/N_(o)=5 dB, the result shows a very reliable link on the additional increase of 0.88 dB in the margin and a high quality of service within coverage decrease of 0.1 km from 1.5 km in city area on the decrease of 2 Erlang from 20 Erlang in the capacity. When the E_(b)/N_(o) decreases from 7 dB to 5 dB within the outage probability of 5 % under a soft handoff, it shows the increase of 9 Erlang from 11 Erlang and of 0.2 km in it on the same margin of 2.8 dB. Then, comparing it with a hard handoff, it shows the soft handoff gain of the decrease of 2.16 dB in the margin, the increase of 10 Erlang, and of 0.22 km in it. Also, comparing it with a single cell, the decrease of more than 10 Erlang, but the enlargement of 0.17 km on the decrease of 1.31 dB.

        Cyclodextrin Glucanotransferase와 Cyclodextrinase를 생산하는 Bacillus 속 세균의 분리와 그 효소들의 특성

        토양으로부터 CGTase와 CDase를 함께 분비·생산하는 내열성 세균을 분리하였으며, 동정결과 Bacillus stearothermophilus로 판명되어 KJ16으로 명명하였다. Bacillus stearothermophilus KJ16 균주는 회분배양할 경우 2단계 성장을 하며 일차증식기에 CGTase를 생산하고 이차증식기에 CDase를 생산하는 양상을 보였다. 배치 pH를 7.0으로 조절하면서 배양할 경우, CGTase는 균의 증식에 따라 증가하고 CDase는 CGTase보다 뒤에 생산되었다. 그 생산양은 pH 비조절 배양에 비해 CGTase는 최대 12배(1300 mU/ml)까지, CDase는 2배(225 mU/ml)정도 증가되었다. 분리균주가 생산하는 CGTase는 분자량이 65,000 dalton으로 pH 6.0, 60℃에서 최적활성을 보이며 HPLC 분석을 통해 α-, β-, γ-CD를 42: 46: 12의 비율로 생산하는 α/β 혼합형 CGTase였다. 또한 CDase는 분자량이 68,000 dalton으로 pH 6.0, 55℃에서 최적활성을 보이며 최적기질은 γ-CD였다. CGTase was constitutively synthesized during the 1st growing phase, while CDase was synthesized inducibly during the 2nd growing phase. When the medium pH was controlled at 7.0, the maximun enzyme activities of CGTase and CDase were increased by 12-fold(1300 mU/ml) and 2-fold (225 mU/ml), respectively, compared with the pH-uncontrolled batch culture. The CGTase of the isolate converted soluble starch to CDs with the ratio of α-CD: β-CD: γ-CD=42:46:12 at 55℃. The optimal pH and temperature of CGTase were 6.0 and 60℃, respectively and the optimal pH and temperature of CDase were 6.0 and 55℃. The molecular weights of the purified CGTase and CDase were estimated to be 65,000 and 68,000 dalton, respectively. Among serveral substrates, γ-CD was most rapidly hydrolyzed by the purified CDase.

      • 스위치드 리럭턴스 전동기의 전압제어 및 전류제어

        최근에 가전 및 군수분야등 여러 분야에서 스위치드 리럭턴스 전동기의 응용에 대한 관심이 커지면서 간단하고 저가이면서 양호한 구동특성을 보이는 속도제어 방식에 관한 연구의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스위치드 리럭턴스 전동기의 속도제어 방식에서 제어 가능한 변수로서 점호각과 소호각, 소정의 전류슈준을 설정하여 이 세가지 제어변수를 고려한 전압제어 및 전류제어 알고리즘을 설계하였다. 특히 스위치드 리럭턴스 전동기 및 인버터 구동회로를 포함하는 전체시스템의 특성을 고려한 전압제어 및 전류제어 알고리즘을 강구하였으며 이와 함께 원칩 마이크로프로세서인 80C196KC를 이용한 전압제어 및 전류제어를 구현하였다. 80C196KC는 고속입출력기능, PWM 기능, A/D컨버터기능 등을 내장하는 16비트 원칩 마이크로프로세서로서 본 연구에서는 이러한 기능들을 적절히 활용하는 전압제어 및 전류제어 알고리즘을 구성하고 상호 비교를 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 설계된 전압제어 및 전류제어 시스템은 실험을 통하여 운전특성 및 성능을 검증하였으며 본 연구를 통하여 80C196KC가 가지는 기능들은 불연속여자특성을 가지는 스위치드 리럭턴스 전동기의 전압제어 및 전류제어 구성에 매우 부합됨을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 구성된 속도제어 시스템은 간단하고 저가이면서 양호한 구동특성을 보이는 속도제어 시스템에 활용될 것으로 기대된다. The switched reluctance motor is comparable to the inverter driven induction motor. Recently a switched reluctance motor is highly considered for the applications to home appliances and defence industry. Simultaneously a low cost controller with high performances becomes more significant for a switched reluctance motor drive. This paper investigates voltage and current controls of switched reluctance motor which are considering turn-on angle, turn-off angle and current level as controlled variables. One-chip microprocessor 80C196KC, an embedded microcontroller, is well applied to voltage and current controls of switched reluctance motor because a switched reluctance motor is excited by the excitiation modes of pulse type. Voltage and current control algorithms are implemented by utilizing several functions of 80C196KC. The proposed drive system is verified through the experiments, and may be utilized as a drive system with a low-cost and high-performance controller.

        The first of benzodiazepines was chlordiazepoxide, which was marketed as tranquilizer under the trade name Librium. Now benzodiazepine derivatives are prescribed for insomnia and muscle relaxants as well as to treat anxiety. As benzodiazepines used widely, drug abuse becomes a serious social problem because of psychological and physical dependence and over deaths. It is necessary to develop the in vitro diagnostic reagents for the detection of small amount of abused drugs in urines. Because accuracy and convenience for point of care testing systems are indispensable, immunological determinations are fit for our requirements, which react with specific drug antigens and are able to detect small amount of drugs in urine. A benzazepinone derivative(4), which will be used as a component of the reagents for detecting benzodiazepine drugs or their metabolite in urine, was synthesized from 5-phenyltetrahydrofuran-2-one(1) as a key intermediate.

      • 한국의 재활의료 전달체계

        This study was carried out for reorientation of Rehabilitation Service Delivery System (RSDS) through reviewing reference and observing field practice. The most important results are as follows: 1. The current rehabilitation facility for handicapped persons can be classified into four categories : (a) those for physically disabled persons, (b) those for mentally disturbed persons, (c) those for visually disturbed persons, and (d) those for acoustic and speech disturbed persons. The nationwide number of rehabilitation facilities is 101 of those, 43.5% is for physically disabled persons and 32.9% is for mentally disturbed persons. 2. A small number of circulating rehabilitation centers for physically disability are being run by comprehensive rehabilitation centers since 1992. 3. The hospitals are self-supporting only 20% of their operational costs, and the rest of the operational costs comes from federal tax(40%) and local tax(40%). 4. The number of handicapped persons in Taegu and Kyungpook province is estimated to be about 50,000, but only 20 percent out of them ws registered. The rehabilitation facilities located in this area receives 69% of their operational costs from central government. This figure is higher than the national average of 64.6%. 5. Although RSDS is different from other medical delivery system, nonetheless, it should be developed as a sub-system of national health care delivery system. Its development should also be in accordance with the need of local community. Therefore we suggest the development policy for the development of RMDS must consider the following points.; First, all rehabilitation-related medical systems should be integrated unde ra single comprehensive system so that handicapped persons may easily obtain better service available. Second, rehabilitation programs based on local community should be rejuvenated. In addition to in-patient service, development of intermediate facilities and programs connecting home and society should be encouraged. Third, rehabilitation medical services should be more specialized. Also, more emphasis should be given to team approach to rehabilitation medical services. Fourth, a comprehensive rehabilitation information system should be developed so that handicapped persons may have easy access to public welfare facilities, and the central government should formulate a comprehensive long-term plan for the rehabilitation system.
