      • 아드레날린 수용체 중개에 의한 Catecholamine의 Synaptosome을 통한 칼슘 이동의 조절

        The presynaptic α-adrenoceptors medicate a negative feedback mechanism which leads to inhibition of neurotransmitter release probably by restricting the calcium available for the excitation-secretion coupling. It is reported that norepinephrine may shorten the duration of plateau phase in action potential by decreasing a voltage sensitive, slow inward calcium current and this action of norepinephrine is antagonized by α-adrenergic blocking agents. It is also suggested that there is a direct linkage between adrenoceptors and Na+-K+ ATPase. In the present study, therefore, effects of norepinephrine, dopamine an 5-hydroxytryptamine on the calcium uptake, Na+-Ca++ exchange and membrane potential in rat brain synaptosomes were investigated. The actions of neurotransmitters on the regulators for cellular calcium transport were also studied by investigation effects of catecholamines on synaptosomal Na+-k+ ATPase, Ca++ ATPase and Na+-Ca++ ATPase activities with or without adrenergic blocking agents. In the reaction mixture containing calcium without potassium, the addition of ATP induced the synaptosomal calcium uptake only slightly. The further addition of potassium is followed by a marked increase in calcium uptake with concomittent development of membrane depolarization. Amounts of calcium uptake were increased with increasing concentrations of potassium but decreased in the presence of extracellular sodium. Norepinephrine, dopamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine inhibited the potassium induced calcium uptake but had no effect on membrane potential. Na+-K+ ATPase, Mg++ ATPase and Ca++ ATPase activities were stimulated by these amines and stimulatory effects of catecholamines were antagonized by phentolamine and propranolol. Ouabain enhanced potassium induced calcium uptake but significantly inhibited Na+-K+ ATPase activity. Diltiazem and dibucaine effectively inhibited the depolarization induced calcium uptake, but had a variable effects on ATPase activities. Dibucaine significantly inhibited Ca++ ATPase. Among various agents tested, dibucaine alone was shown to slow down the development of membrane depolarization. Norepinephrine, dopamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine inhibited both the sodium dependent calcium efflux and Na+-Ca++ ATPase activity. The inactivation of Na+-CA++ ATPase by catecholamines was reversed by phentolamine and propranolol. These results suggest that there is a linkage between presynaptie adrenoceptors and regulatory apparatus for calcium transport across the synaptic membrane. Catecholamines appear to inhibit the calcium transport by the indirect effect on the ATPases, particulary Na+-K+ ATPase at plasma membrane which is mediated by adrenoceptors and also by possible action on the calcium conductance mechanism. On the other hand, adrenergic agonists may affect the Na+ dependent Ca++ efflux in synaptic membranes.

        ONE-STEP 접착제의 상아질 접착에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to oberve the morphologic change of dentinal surface. adhesion in interface between dentin and bonding agents, and penetration pattern of resin tags into dentinal tubles according to bonding procedure of ONE-STEP universal adhesive system. Ten extracted human molars were mounted in dental stone and sectioned to expose midcoronal occlusal dentin and again sectioned tooth drown apically. Specimens were randomly assigned to three groups for dentin conditiong with 32% phoshoric acid. two coats of bonding agents after dentin conditioning, and bond of composite resin. The surface of dentin were treated with etchant and applied bonding agent, and bonded composite resin according to the directions of manufactruer. Specimens which were boned composite were sectioned longitudinally for observing interfaces between in 6 N HCL for 30 second and 1% NaOCL for 12 hours to partially demineralize and deproteinize the dentin substrate. Each specimen was mounted on a brass stub, sputter-coated with gold and observed under SEM. The result were as follows : 1. On the dentinal surface which was conditional with 32% phosphoric acid, the smear layer was completely removed, orifices of dentinal tubules were opened 3-5㎛ wide, and dentinal surface was irregular. 2. On the dentinal surface which was applied ONE-STEP bonding agent, resin particles were observed on the orifices of dentinal tubules and intertubular dentin. 3. There were close adaptation between dentin and resin and were the pattern which composite invaded into dentin. 4. 1-3㎛ wide hybrid layer was visible in the interface between dentin and resin. 5. Long and funnel shaped resin tags were observed in demineralized specimens, and the surfaces of tags were rough.

        황토 급여가 거세한우의 발육에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 거세한우 육성우에 대한 황토 첨가급여가 발육에 미치는 효과를 구명하고자 발육능력, 사료섭취량을 규명한 바 아래와 같은 결과를 얻었다. 전 시험기간 동안의 평균 일당증체량은 대조구와 황토급여구가 각각 0.91㎏과 0.87㎏/day로 대조구가 높은 것으로 나타났지만 유의성은 인정되지 않았다. 사료섭취량은 대조구와 황토급여구 모두 평균 일일 두당 농후사료 섭취량이 2.42㎏이었으나, 건초섭취량에 있어서는 각각 3.02와 3.14㎏으로 황토급여구가 다소 높은 경향으로 나타났다. The study was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary supplements of reddish clay on the growth performance in growing Hanwoo steers. A total of 8 calves was allocated into 2 feeding groups, control(basal diet) and treatment(basal diet plus ad libitim Reddish clay) for Hanwoo steers. This study was carried out for 5 months with a total of 8 calves. The results obtained in the present studies are summarized as follows : Average daily gains throughout the experimental period of 4 months to 9 months of age were 0.91 and 0.87㎏ for control group and reddish clay-supplemented group, respectively, however, no statistical significances were found. Average daily intake of concentrates was 2.42㎏ for each group, while that of hay tended to be higher in reddish clay-supplemented group(3.14㎏) than in control group(3.02㎏).

        A successful treatment of infants and children with congenital heart defects depends upon several factors: diagnosis must be accurate, the operative technique, including techniques of perfusion and myocardial preservation, must be suited to the needs of patients and intensive cares, including accurate anesthesia, must be applied through all stages of investigation and treatment, i.e. before, during and after the operation. Recently we performed a open heart surgery successfully for a six-years old girl who had suffered from frequent upper respiratory tract infection and mild to moderate exertional dyspnea with congenital heart defects (ventricular septal defect, Kirklin type II, with patent foramen ovale). The operation and postoperative course were very smooth. And now we report this with review of literatures.

        In order to investigate the pharmacological properties of New Wonbang Woohwangchungsimwon Liquid (NSCL), effects of Wonbang Woohwangchungsimwon Liquid (SCL) and NSCL were compared. In isolated rat aorta, NSCL and SCL showed the relaxation of blood vessels in maximum contractile response to phenylephrine (10^-6M) regardless to intact endothelium or denuded rings of the rat aorta. Furthermore, the presences of the inhibitor of NO synthase and guanylate cyclase did not affect the relaxing effect of NSCL and SCL. NSCL and SCL inhibited the vascular contractions induced by acetylcholine, prostaglandin endoperoxide or peroxide in a dose-dependent manner. In conscious spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs), NSCL and SCL significantly decreased heart rate. NSCL and SCL, at high doses, had a negative inotropic effect that was a decrease of left ventricular developed pressure and (-dp/dt)/(+dp/dt) in the isolated perfused rat hearts, and also decreased the contractile force and heart rate in the isolated rat right atria. In excised guinea-pig papillary muscle, NSCL and SCL had no effects on parameters of action potential such as resting membrane potential, action potential amplitude, APD_90 and V_max at low doses, whereas inhibited the cardiac contractility at high doses. These results suggested that NSCL and SCL have weak cardiovascular effects with relaxation of blood vessels and decrease of heart rate, and that this effect is no significant differences between cardiovascular effects of two preparations.

        In this thesis, the message transmission delay on a server system using HGCMP for group communication protocol was analyzed. The queue model of a server system was modeled by queueing theoretic approach. As the feedback structure was imbedded in the queue model, it is difficult to analyze the delay. To solve this problem, the simplification of the queue model was performed. After the simplification process, the queue model was modeled M/M/1. The transmission delay of a server system is calculated using average waiting time and service time in a server system.

      • Shigella 균 증식에 있어서 Ox-bile의 영향

        This study was performed to find out the reason for seasonal changes of epidemics and the effect of ox-bile on the growth of Shigella and the results were follows. 1. Shigella dysenteriae does not survive over 20 days in distilled water on the other hand, Shigella flexneri can survive for 70 days or more. 2. Shigella dysenteriae can survive for 50 days in distilled water and BHI broth added ox-bile. Shigella flexneri can survive rather longer than Shigella dysenteriae. 3. This results suggest that the growth of Shigella was not inhibited with ox-bile in tetrathionate broth, MacConkey agar media and SS agar plate medium.

      • 한국여성 큰복재정맥의 가지상태에 대한 연구

        The patterns of 5 tributaries draining into the great saphenous vein were stuided in 33 cases of Korean adult female cadavers from 20 to 88 years of age (average age, 64). 1. Each tributaries emptied separately into the great saphenous vein in 12.1% (left: 7.6%, right:4.5%) 2. The superficial epigastric vein and the superficial circumflex iliac vein joined to form a single trunk draining into the great saphenous vein in 18.2%. The incidences were equal in the both sides. 3. The lateral accessary saphenous vein and the superficial circumflex iliac vein joined to form a single trunk draining into the great sapheous vein in 12.1% (left: 7.6%, right: 4.5%). 4. The superficial external pudendal vein and the superficial epigastric vein joined to form a single trunk draining into the great saphenous vein in 1,5% (only in right side). 5. The superficial external pudendal vein and the medial accessory saphenous vein joined to form a single trunk draining into the great saphenous vein in 9.1% (left: 3.0%, right: 6.1%). 6. The superficial circumflex iliac vein, the superficial epigastric vein and the lateral accessary saphenous vein joined to form a single trunk draining into the great saphenous vein in 25.8% (left: 12.1%, right: 13.7%). 7. The dual fusion took place, namely the superficial external pudendal vein with the superficial epigastric vein and the superficial circumflex iliac vein with the lateral accessory saphenous vein to drain separately into the great saphenous vein in 3.0% (only in left side). 8. The dual fusion was shown between the superficial external pudendal vein and the medial accessory saphenous vein and between the superficial circumflex iliac vein and the lateral accessory saphenous vein draining separately into the great saphenous vein in 4.6% (left: 3.1%, right:1.5%) 9. The superficial epigastric vein, the superficial external pudendal vein and the medial accessory saphenous vein joined to form a single trunk draining into the great saphenous vein in 3.0% (only in right side). 10. The dual fusion took place between the superficial external pudendal vein and the medial accessory saphenous vein and between the superficial circumflex iliac vein, the superficial extenal pudendal vein and the superficial epigastric vein, and was draining separately into the great saphenous vein in 1.5% (only in left side). 11. The incidence which showed the cases deficient in one or more tributaries was 9.1%.
