        SHR에 Clonidine을 Labetalol 또는 Metoprolol과 병용투여후의 혈압강하에 관한 연구

        The antihypertensive effect of clonidine administered concurrently with labetalol or metoprolol were studied with spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR). The changes of heart rate were also observed in the same rats. Every drug was orally administered single dose after prechecking the systolic blood pressure and heart rate of SHR. The blood pressure of SHR in concurrently administered group was more significantly decreased than in alone administered group. The effective and stable decrease of blood pressure was maintained at the group of clonidine with labetalol (0.05+50mg/kg) for 9 hours. The group of clonidine with metoprolol (0.05+100mg/kg) manifested more marked decrease of blood pressure than the group of metoprolol (100mg/kg) alone for 9 hours. The diminishing effect of heart rate was enhanced in group of administering clonidine with labetalol, decreasing the dose of labetalol from 50mg/kg via 25mg/kg to 12.5mg/kg. On the other hand, in the group that clonidine was administered concurrently with metoprolol, the diminishing effect of heart rate was decreased with decreasing doses of metoprolol from 100mg/kg via 50mg/kg to 25mg/kg.

        Benorylate와 Ethoxybenzamide 밍 Lorazepam 과의 상호작용

        Benorylate and ethoxybenzamide have been used alone or in combination as an analgesic, antipyretic and antiinflammatory agent. We investigated the significance of the differences of analgesic activities between single and concurrent administration of benorylate and ethoxybenzamide and lorazepam in mice and also antipyretic activity between single and concurrent administration of benorylate and ethoxybenzamide in rats. 1). Concurrent administration of each half dose of benorylate and ethoxybenamide showed much inhibiting effect on the acetic acid-induced writhing syndrome of mice than the above drug alone, and the some increased analgesic response by hot plate method. 2). The synergistic and analgesic effect of combined administration of benorylate and lorazepam was found to be significant. 3). Antipyretic effect of half-dose combined administration of benorylate and ethoxybenzamide on the rat pyrexia induced by yeast(s.c.) and T.T.G. (i.v.) was shown to be similar to the effect of each drug.

      • Thymopentin의 면역반응에 관한 연구

        It was studied on the immune response of thymopentin in order to expand the clinical application of this. The experimental results are as follows. 1. Thymopentin of 3 to 10㎍/ml in vitro showed the mitogenic effect of spleen cells and Con A-stimulated spleen and thymus cells, but not lipopolysaccaride(LPS) stimulated spleen and tumorcells. 2. Thymopentin significantly decreased the T-independent B cells at S.C. adminstration of 100mg/kg for 5 days, in case of pretreated group, the potent inhibition of the B-cells were observed at doses of 25.50 100mg/kg in mice. 3. Thymopentin stimulated the response of delayed type hypersensitivity, SRBC-induced footpad swelling and oxazolone-induced contact dermatitis in mice. From the above results, it is shown that thypopentin decreased the B_E-cells, and stimulates the T_D-cells in mice.

      • Angiotensin 전환효소억제제와 α-adrenergic 수용체 작용 약물과의 병용이 흰쥐의 자발운동에 미치는 영향

        After captopril and pentopril, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, were administred to normal or reserpinized rats alone or with α-adrenergic receptor-acting drugs, the alteration of the locomotive and rearing-activities were determined. The results were as follows; 1. At the normal rats: a) At the groups of adminstration of coptopril (2.5, 5.0, 100㎖ / ㎏) and pentopril (1.0, 2.0㎖ / ㎏), the significant increased, the locomotive activities were shown versus control group b) When clonidine (0.05, 0.1, 0.2㎖ / ㎏) were administered, the locomotive and rearing-activities were significantly decreased c) The locomotive activities of rats administered yohimbine were different on the dose. Yohimbine (10.0㎖ / ㎏) decreased the locomotive activity. d) The administrations of prazosin and α-methyldopa alone or with ACELs did not influence the locomotive activity. 2. At the reserpinized rats: a) The locomotive activity and rearing activity were markedly decreased versus normal rat control. b) When captopril and pentopril were administered, the locomotive activities were increased versus the reserpinized rats, particularly pentopril (2.0㎖ / ㎏) significantly increased.

        인삼 Butanol Fraction이 Streptozotocin 유발 고혈당 쥐에 미치는 작용에 관한 연구

        To elucidate the effect of ginseng butanol fraction on streptozotocin-induced hyperglycemia, ginseng butanol fraction was administered before and after injection of streptozotocin(50mg/kg, i.v.), and glucose, insulin, and cholesterol levels in serum were determined at 96 hours after streptozotocin injection. Serum glucose, insulin levels were significantly decreased by administration of ginseng butanol fraction (100mg/kg, p.o.) at 7 hour and 7, 4, 1, hour(three times) before streptozotocin injection. The glucose levels were significantly decresed by administration of ginseng butanol fraction at 1 hour (100mg/kg) after strcptozotocin injection, and also serum glucose levels in groups of continuous administration of ginseng butanal fraction(100mg/kg) for 3 days after streptozotocin injection were markedly decreased than in group of single dose of ginseng butanol fraction. Ginseng butanol fraction has the protective and relieving action against streptozotocin-induced hyperglycemia.

        갈근 Butanol Fraction의 약리 작용에 관한 연구

        Effective BuOH fraction was extracted from Puerariae radix (Pueraria thunbergiana), and several pharmacological activities were examined. From several pharmacological examinations, it was found that BuOH fraction has an antipyretic activity against typhoid vaccine pyrexia in rabbit, a papaverine-like antispasmodic activity on isolated ileum and jejunum of rat, an analgesic effects on mice treated by 0.7% HAc, and an anti-inflammatory activity of carrageenin edema in rat. It was found that BuOH fraction has detoxication effects on acute and subacute toxic rat induced by alcohol in consequence of biochemical tests of serum. Therefore it was considered that BuOH fraction has preventive and therapeutic effects in alcohol intoxication.
