Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma is a rare neoplasm that arises from the mesothelium of a serosal cavity and is a rapidly fatal disease with a median survival of 4 to 12 months for untreated cases. Recently, we experienced a case with malignant peritoneal mesothelioma who was suspected hepatocelluar carcioma by abdominal CT scan and was confirmed by biopsy including immunohistochemical stain(calretinin) after surgery. We performed tumor excisions and wedge resection of the liver(segment Ⅷ)and inserted Tencoff catheter in abdominal cavity at 25th day of post-operation. We treated with intraperitoneal paclitaxel(25mg/m^(2)/day for 5 days) six courses monthly. She was well tolerable and is still living without any evidence of recurrence for 14th month of post-operation.

In content-base video data retrieval, the detection for scene change is needed. Color histogram approaches are generally used. Color histogram approaches are simple and more robust to object and camera movements but they ignore the spatial information and fail when two different frames have similar histograms. We propose a new algorithm to use color histogram and entropy to enhance the false-positive occurred by brightness variation and the miss by similar color histogram. At the experiments, it is more robust to brightness variation and have spatial information.

수도권 내륙화물기지 신설에 따른 효과 분석

내륙물류기지는 도로 철도 항만 공항 간의 연계운송 및 복합운송을 할 수 있는 규모와 시설을 갖춘 대규모 물류처리 시설을 지칭하며 화물의 대량수송으로 인한 물류비절감을 위하여 전국의 주요 물류 거점에 구축하여 운영을 하고 있다. 하지만 수도권 물류를 처리하는 유일한 화물거점시설인 의왕ICD의 경우 2015년 이전에 물류시설의 용량이 한계치에 도달할 것으로 예상되어 추가적인 시설개량이나 다른 수도권 물류처리시설 신설이 필요한 실정이다. 특히 입지적으로 부지 확장에 대하여 주변 여건상 한계가 있으므로 물류처리시설 신설로 인한 용량 및 처리능력 향상이 요구된다. 또한 현재 남북 간 화물철도운송에 대한 관심이 증대됨에 따라 향후 화물운송은 도로와 선박에서 철도로 물량전환이 가능할 것으로 판단되나 이들 살화물의 주요 수요지인 수도권(서북부 지역)에는 이 물동량을 처리 및 보관 할 수 있는 화물역과 물류기지가 부재하여 이들 확보할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 서해안축 신규 물류기지(송산역 안중역)와 서북부 신규 물류기지(대곡역) 신설을 통하여 수도권 물동량 급증에 따른 철도 선로용량 부족 문제 해소방안과 남북 간의 효율적인 철도수송 수도권 철도화물의 분산효과 등을 검토함으로써 원활한 철도수송서비스를 제공하여 물류비를 절감하는 데 그 목적이 있다. The inland logistics center is a large scale of logistics facility that enables roads rails ports and airports to carry out chained-transports and combined-transports and the logistics center are established at the main logistics posts in order to reduce the cost of transport by mass transportation. However it is expected that the capacity of Euiwang ICD the only inland logistics centers in the capital area will reach its limit before 2015 so it is required to establish another stations or to improve the existing facility. Especially in case of Euiwang ICD the expansion of the center is not possible because of its position so it is required to establish new logistics centers in other places in order to raise the capacity of transport. Therefore this study suggests to establish new metropolitan logistics centers on the western coast line in order to solve the problem of shortage of tract capacity that is brought on by the newly established inland logistics centers on the axis of the western coastline (Song-san Station and An-jung Station) and analyzes how the new logistics center will distribute railroad cargoes. By these this study contributes to reduce the cost of transport by providing smooth railroad transport service.

At present Korea faces a radical turning point for its economy. The government and the companies are experiencing difficult time making export strategies after the UR agreement. I think that the companies should be prepared for the international competition by positively coping with the rapid change as well as managing the human resources efficiently in order to overcome this situation. Under the circumstances, the managers of a company should develop and employ some ways of heightening their workers' morale and keeping their high morale in the course of working to improve the performance of an organization or the productivity. The main purpose of this study is to find out the factors influencing the workers' morale and examine the interrelationship of the factors of measurement, influence and intermediation. I made an empirical and theoretical approach to achieve this purpose. At first, I made a theoretical basis by reviewing several preceding studies. Then, after establishing study hypotheses and models on the basis of the theoretical study, I analyzed this study empirically, dealing with the subjects of hotel workers in Cheju area on the basis of the questionnaires. I chose the three areas of the relations of morale, the factor of morale measurement, and morale and influence for study models. I also employed a correlation, oneway ANOVA, and a T-test for the statistics. I analyzed the study data using SPSS/PC'. From this study I found several consequences about managing human resources: (1) It is necessary to take a measure for the employrees' high morale because morale has turned out to have a positive effect on job performance, job satisfaction, and job involvement. (2) In relationships between morale, propensity to seperation, and tardiness and absence, there was no conspicuous negative tendeccy, Regarding this, it is suggested that there be a proper management plan regarding the transfer of and departure from jobs preventing workers from being absent from and being late for workplace. (3) It is necessary to focus on creating high morale for high solidarity and loyality. (4) The management should encourage their employees to have a positive attitude towards their work by reducing tension, uneasiness, and complaints. (5) Something should be done for job design to assign the jobs fit for workers' aptitudes. (6) Something unique for a hotel organization should be done to bridge the morale gap, depending on demographic factors.

교양영어강독 소재 내용구성을 위한 조사 연구

The purpose of this paper is to ran the English topic needs of Seowon University students in their pursuit of acquiring a proficient level of English as a foreign language.A survey was conducted by the use of a questionnaire.The questionnaire listed 40 topics for English reading topics.The subjects were comprised of 206 Seowon University students from various departments.The results of the English reading topics(as desired by the students who participated in the survey), shown in order, are as follows: (1) Introduction to Korean culture, (2) Korean History, (3) Morality and Behavior, (4) Foreign Culture, (5) Interpersonal Relationships, (6) Travelling to Foreign Countries, (7) Introduction to Occupations, Choosing a Job, (8) Life Styles of Foreigners (9) Traffic Order and Safety, (10) Family and Family Relationships, (11) Sports, (12) Buying Things, (13) Health, Hospital, Pharmacy, (14) Weather, Climate, (15) Literary Writings…etc. The results of the English reading topics survey show no differences between the students of various departments and their selection of topics.In the English reading book designated for freshmen, the topics chosen by the students are included but the order is not systematlc. To summarize, the results of this survey should be taken into consideration and applied to EFL publications, and more speclfically, to the EFL curriculum of Seowon University.

A large number of techniques have been devised, developed, and used for assistigng in the software development. Three such methods, representative of the entire set of such techniques, are Stepwise Refinement, Hierachical Decomposition, and Abstraction which is actively studied nowadays. All these three techniques greatly help solve the problems, while do not prevent the errors in the software product that was produced with these techniques. But abstraction technique supports object-oriented programming which creates more freely a representation of the real world porblem eomain and maps it into a solution that is software, it makes software development and maintenance easy. So these reason, object-oriented environment based on abstraction is currently being applied to software enginnering and data base. In this paper, after comparing and analyzing the previous abstract Data types implementation theory, we propose behavior specification method based on abstract Data Types, and implement Object Behavior Analysis Support System(OBASS) to output behavior specification to C++ classes.

社會體育施設 實態調査 硏究 : 行政地域을 中心으로 Focus on Administrative Districts

In modern societies, there are trends for people to engage in more positive and creative physical activities in their leisure time, which Leads to rather participant sports than spectator sports. This study was undertaken to explore the actual state of " Sports for all" facilities in Korea. The implications of the study are as follows: 1. The total numbers of "Sport for all" facilities in Korea is 20,080 ; there are 328 public facilities, 14,696 school facilities, 1,386 job-site facilities and 3,596 civil vacilitles, which indicates that Korea has got smaller number of those facilitles than the other developed countries. 2. The actual state of the facilities by each citles and counties shows the fact that Seoul has got 2,869 facilities, Incheon 434, facilities and Jeja 290 facilities. 3. The square measure for each Korean People is 0.795㎡. 4. The facilities have been set up in servral particalar events and districts. In conclusion, it is requested that all the facilities should be opened to the publics in order to anltivate the healthy mental and physical condition of peoples and to host various types of competitions, thereby promoting the sports, sport-for-all sports in particular, by means of civil-directed activities.
