해수중 우라늄 회수를 위한 Acrylamidoxime섬유의 합성과 특성

A fibrous adsorbent containing amidoxime groups for the recovery of uranium from seawater was synthesized through the amidoximation of polyacrylonitrile fiber with hydroxylamine. The infrared spectra of the fiber showed the characteristic absorption peaks of amidoxime, i.e. -OH stretching at 3200∼3400㎝-¹, =C=N- stretching of the hydroxylimino group at 1650㎝-¹and =N-O- stretching of hydroxyimino group at 930㎝-¹. Amidoxime groups containing in the fibrous adsorbent determined by elemental analysis were 2.8 meq/g-Ad. Uranyl ions were not adsorbed on the amidoxime fiber from acidic solution below pH 2. However, when PH of the solution increased to over 3, uranyl ions were adsorbed. The increased in temperature and flow rate of seawater in the adsorption process were effective in increasing the amount of adsorbed uranium. The minimum immersion time to obtain equilibrium desorption in 1N-H₂SO₄is estimated to be 30 min. The concentration factors for uranium and transition metal were in the order of 10, while those for alkali metals and akaline earth metals were in the order of 10∼10¹.

본 논문은 10㎛ 정밀도를 가진 수동형 3차원 좌표 측정기(Coordinate Measuring Machine, CMM)에 다음의 기능을 부가함으로써, 자동화하고자한다. 그것들은 디스풀레이 제어, 키보드나 조이스틱을 통한 Man-Machine Interface 기능 그리고 서보 모터 제어 등이다. 이와같은 기능을 부가하기위하여, 8031 원칩 마이크로프로세서 시스템을 설계 제작하였고, Yasukawa 모터를 이용한 서보 제어 시스템은 일반적인 PID 알고리즘과 최종점에서 부가적인 Impulse 제어를 수행함으로써, 본 시스템의 요구 조건인 위치 오차 10㎛이내의 정밀 제어가 가능토록하였다. This paper works toward the development of an Automatic Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM) by adding to a manually driven CMM machine with measuring accuracy of 10㎛ the following functions. a display control, man-machine interface with a joystick and a keypad, and servo motor control. 8031 one chip microprocessor system is designed to control the above functions and A servo motor control system with Yasukawa servo motors allows to control a probe with 10㎛ accuracy by using conventional PID control algorithm and an additional impulse control algorithm.

Purpose: This study was peformed to investigate whether the free to total PSA ratio(F/T PSA ratio) offers a better discriminant for the detection of patient with prostatic cancer(CaP) and those with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) than serum total PSA alone. Materials and Methods: From September 1996 to February 1999, free and total PSA levels were measured on frozen sera samples of 154 men with BPH and 46 with CaP using immunoradiometric assay. Results: In all subjects, the mean total PSA was significantly higher in CaP group(72.57±66.58ng/ml) than BPH group(3.12±4.10ng/ml). The mean PSAD was significantly higher in CaP group(1.64± 1.86) than BPH group(0.08±0.01). The mean F/T PSA ratio was significantly lower in CaP group(0.19± 0.07) than BPH group(0.30±0.13). Among 41 subjects whose total PSA were between 4-20ng/ml, the mean PSAD was significantly higher in CaP group(0.37±7.16) than BPH group(0.17± 0.07), but the mean F/T PSA ratio was not significantly different between CaP(0.19± 0.10) and BPH group(0.25±7.13). By comparing the sensitivity and specificity of total PSA alone, PSAD and F/T PSA ratio on receiver operating characterislic (ROC) Cutie in all subiects and subiects with total PSA between 4-20ng/ml, F/T PSA ratio had no superiority than total PSA alone and PSAD for discrimination between CaP and BPH. Conclusions: We suggest that the F/T PSA ratio is not superior to total PSA alone and FSAD in the detection of prostatic cancer, and further evaluation of the usefulness of F/T PSA ratio should be required.
디-젤 批塵用 移動벨트型 電氣集塵裝置의 小型化에 관한 硏究

A Moving-Belt Type Electrostatic Precipitator (MBEP) proposed by one of authers has been improved by introducing systematic control concept for the diesel soot particulates from diesel engine exhaust. The proto type MBEP was designed without helping of any precharger or precoagulator of the soot particles, and so it is too large for equipping to the vehicles. The improved one is designed as a systematic control device consisted of a precharger and a MBEP. This systematization makes it possible miniaturizing the size of MBEP without any drop of its collection performance by enhancing the corona field intensity and current density in the collection space concurrently obtained by reducing the interelectrode spacing of corona electrode to collection electrode. As a result, the collection efficiency of present MBEP system, which is reduced by ca. 1/2 in volume to the proto type MBEP, amounts to 82% at the gas velocity of 1.0m/s (this nearly equals to the gas exhaust of a 2000 cc diesel powered vehicle) and gas temperature of ca. 50℃ for the simulated soot particles ranged in size from 0.005μm (mass median diam is 1.0 μm). The collection efficiency of the improved MBEP system of 82% is higher enough to the US EPA regulation limit of 70% of the year of 1985 for the diesel powered light-duty trucks and passenger cars.

The image with non-contact and non-destructive measurement methods, might provide advantage to analyze and evaluate the condition of crops. It is necessary to develop a device for monitoring crops under the vinyl mulch which was protected from wild bird and weed control. Using digital image processing, the monitoring device for crops under the vinyl was developed. The monitoring system measured temperature distribution between soil and crops using an infrared temperature sensor. Based on the measured data analysis, the location of the crop under the vinyl mulch were estimated.

To evaluate the effects of Zoletil (tiletamine-zolazepam) that have been widely used for the chemical restraint and anesthesia of primates, on physiologic alteration, blood gas analysis and anesthetic duration in the Japanese macaque(Macaca fuscata), this study was carried out. Zoleril was administered by intramuscular injection, Evaluation of temperature, heart rate, respiration rate and blood gas analysis were performed before administration ancl at 1,10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 min after administration, and induction and maintenance time was recorded. There was no significant difference in heart rate, PCO₂PO₂after Zolcril administration and temperature, respration rate, pH were significant difference compared with those of before administration, The induction time was 2.5±l.Omin and maintenance time was 86±23.2min. It was considered that Zoletil could he usefully used for the sedation and immobilization of Japanese macaque reared in zoological garden.

Recently, cities are to be a new limelight in developing countries. Because, They have performed important roles in promoting and spreading economic and social development of the country. This study is concerned with all cities in Korea, and has three main purposes. First one is to select the general analysis variables affecting urban growth from existing theoretical literatures. Second one is to identify the dominant factors and their changes for the growth of cities in Korea through the analysis of correlation with growth rate. It could be done by case study of growth trends of all existing cities for analysis period. The last one is to find out a formula to estimate the future growth of cities in Korea. The results of this study could offer much suggestions to establish the development strategies of cities in Korea.
