기관지천식 환자에서의 FMLP 및 PAF에 대한 호산구의 화학주성 , 화학운동성 및 형태학적 관찰

The eosinophils are important cells in the patogenesis of bronchial asthma. The recruitment of eosinophils to lung is needed to produce injuries on bronchial structure, especially bronchial epithelium. N-formyl-methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine (Fmlp) is a chemotactic factor to neutrophils and platelet activating factor(PAF) is a potent inflammatory mediator, but the effects of Fmlp and PAF on eosinophils are not determined. We studied chemotaxis and chemokinesis of eosinophils to PAF and Fmlp and morphologic changes of eosinophil after stimulation with PAF and Fmlp. 1. Chemotactic activity of the eosinophils to Fmlp and PAF was potent in comparison with the control group(HBSS)(p<0.001) There was a increasing tendency of chemotaxis to fMLP in a dose-dependent manner. Chemotactic activity of the eosinophils to 10 and 10 M fMLP was higher than thatto3 X10 MPAF(p<0.01,p<0.02). 2. Chemokinesis of the eosinophils to fMLP and PAF was increased in comparison with the non- stimulated cell group(p<0.001). 3. The PAF-preincubated eosinophils showed more potent chemotactic activity to 10 M fMLP than that of non-stimulated eosinophils (p<0.01). There was no difference of chemotactic activity between fMLP-preincubated eosinophils and PAF- preincubated eosinophils(p>0.05). 4. After preincubation of eosinophils with fMLP, the chemotactic activities of eosinophils to fMLP and PAFwere decreased or deactivated significantly (p<0.01). 5. After preincubation of eosinophils with PAF, the chemotactic activity of eosinophils to fMLP was not decreased, but the chemotaxis of eosinophils to PAF was significantly decreased(p<0.05). This decrease of eosinophilic chemotaxis to PAF was significant in comparison with that to fMLP (p<0.01). 6. After incubation of the eosinophils with fMLP, the number of granules in the eosinophils might be decreased as a result of degranulation and the pseudopods of the eosinophils was increased, which was also observed after incubation with PAF. The fMLP and the PAF may be used in the investigation of chemotaxis and chemokinesis of the eosinophils and the eosinophilic chemotaxis should be evaluated further more in bronchial asthmatics according to the severity and the progress.
Ginseng Anthracnose Caused by Colletotrichum dematium

Ginseng anthracnose was observed in Koyang area, Korea. A fungus was repeatedly isolated from leaves and stems of the infected ginseng plants and identified as Colletotrichum dematium according to the morphological and cultural characteristics. The fungus showed pathogenicity on inoculated ginseng leaves. This is the first report of ginseng anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum dematium in Korea.

From 2000, the world plant market, especially plant developing business related to oil and gas, has been increasing. Domestic construction companies advance to overseas plant construction market actively, and proportioning to this, an importance of utility construction is increasing. However, the project becomes large and high-tech, and many companies experience difficulty of project management due to relatively high risk of overseas construction. In this study, we built the standard process with which domestic company can evaluate the risk of overseas plant utility construction. Primary factors for risk evaluation is derived, classification system is made out, primary factor is analyzed, and counter plan is suggested. And thorough management of risk is performed by risk management organization that manages the risks, risk control methods, reports and monitors through risk sheet and risk action log from the start of project to the end.
