Agricultural solar power is a method in which crops are grown on the ground and solar power panel is installed on top. At the current level, panel support frames are installed at span of 4 to 6 m, but if the span of the structure is widened, it is possible to increase agricultural activity and secure additional cultivation area. Therefore, in this study, the long-span frame with 12m span of the photovoltaic power generation facility was suggested and the safety of the structure supporting it was reviewed. The wind load acting as a critical load on the structure was calculated according to KDS 41 10 15, the building structure design standard, and the stress ratio, reaction force and serviceability were reviewed after designing a 12m long span by removing the central column from the current 6m span. In addition, the appropriateness of lengthening the structure was reviewed through quantity surveyor, and the optimal sectional sizes of the member according to the KDS were proposed.

Although the Chinese writer Su Shi had always been considered an important model cultural figure in Korea, the early nineteenth century fascination with him is distinctly linked to the way in which collecting culture became a crucial means of fashioning the literati selfhood, particularly among those members of urban elite in Seoul who aspired to the cosmopolitan literati culture in Beijing . The paper examines the early nineteenth century culture of collecting Su Shi's texts among the urban elite in Seoul and in Beijing, focusing particularly on the representation of the literati selfhood in the writings about the names of the collectors' studios. The eminent Qing scholar of epigraphic studies and a famous collector of the Song period texts, Weng Fanggang, upon obtaining the authentic brushwork of Su Shi and the precious Song period editions of Su Shi's poetry, named his studio after Su and fashioned his cultural image after Su Shi. The early nineteenth century Chosŏn poet Shin Wi, while traveling in Beijing, engaged the writings of Su Shi to forge an intellectual bond with Weng Fanggang; upon returning home, he collected and reproduced Su Shi's poetry, calligraphies, and portraits and used his collection to substantiate his literati self-image. With a case study of these early nineteenth century writings on collecting Su Shi, the paper aims to consider the broader, underlying issue of the role of material culture in formulating the literati selfhood in East Asia.
차별문항기능 분석의 효과성 검증 -일본인 한국어 학습자의 유학 유무와 문화 간 의사소통 능력을 중심으로-
신지원 이중언어학회 2020 이중언어학 Vol.81 No.-
This study aims to examine the applicability of differential item functioning (DIF), a widely used concept in psychology, to Korean language education. The use of two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) DIF as an analytic tool is also introduced and evaluated. Toward this end, data were collected from 122 Japanese female students to measure the effects of a study-abroad experience in Korea on their intercultural communication competence. A two-way ANOVA was used for the statistical testing of DIF. The results indicated that eight items functioned differently, depending on whether or not the students had undergone the experience of studying abroad in Korea. Through item content analysis, one item—“foreign language phobia”—was confirmed to be a bias item. Although there were no differences in the t-test and correlation results before and after the application of DIF, the reliability, t-value, and correlation coefficient for “foreign language phobia” changed. The results suggest that applying two-way ANOVA DIF to Korean language education research may increase the reliability and validity of questionnaire-based analyses.

Jiwon Shin⋅Rosie Oh. 2017. An Analysis on Research Trends in Korean Language Education: Focusing on Quantitative Research Methods. Journal of Korean Language Education 28-4: 87-119. The purpose of this study is to classify research methods used in Korean language education studies with a focus on identifying how and what quantitative research methods are utilized in these studies. Analyzing articles published in the Journal of Korean Language Education from 2005 to 2016, we found a trend that as a replacement for secondary research, primary research played a more prominent role after 2010, as the number of quantitative studies and studies using mixed methods increased. We also found that within quantitative studies of Korean language education, research themes and statistical analyses became diversified after 2010. In order for quantitative research to contribute continuously to Korean language education, the quality of research has to improve. In particular, quantitative researchers in this area should: (a) increase their general understanding of statistical methods, (b) conduct “power analysis” to determine the appropriate sample size for hypothesis testing, and (c) be aware of measurement issues such as measurement equivalence and DIF when measuring latent psychological constructs. It is also important to notice that these points above should be considered carefully in the planning and designing stage for researchers. (Aoyama Gakuin University․Seoul Women’s University)
Learning, memory and exploratory similarities in genetically identical cloned dogs
신지원,김지은,박원준,박관용,전정민,오현주,김민정,이병천 대한수의학회 2016 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.17 No.4
Somatic cell nuclear transfer allows generation of genetically identical animals using donor cells derived from animals with particular traits. To date, few studies have investigated whether or not these cloned dogs will show identical behavior patterns. To address this question, learning, memory and exploratory patterns were examined using six cloned dogs with identical nuclear genomes. The variance of total incorrect choicenumber in the Y-maze test among cloned dogs was significantly lower than that of the control dogs. There was also a significant decreasein variance in the level of exploratory activity in the open fields test compared to age-matched control dogs. These results indicate that cloneddogs show similar cognitive and exploratory patterns, suggesting that these behavioral phenotypes are related to the genotypes of theindividuals.

This paper examines what kind of poetic meaning film images evoke, based on works that appropriate actual film images in Kim Jong-sam's poetry. Poetry works linked to each film are broadly divided into three categories and analyzed into black images, Jewish images, and Indian images. The image of black people is examined in the poem “Black Orphée,” which references the film “Orfeu Negro.” In particular, Kim Jong-sam's interest in the black people is confirmed based on a short review of the movie he left behind. The Jewish image is confirmed through a series of Auschwitz-related poems that reference the fillm “Kapo.” By citing changes in image production before and after the film's release, we discuss how the film influenced the image of Kim Jong-sam's poetry. The image of Indians is examined in the poems “Cheyenne” and “Women of the West” that refer to the films “Cheyenne Autumn” and “Soldier Blue”. It is discussed that the images of the two films were borrowed, but the images were placed in a way that integrated the two films into the poem rather than using the films' narratives or arguments as is. As a result, through the above film images, we studied how an alienated being, the Holocaust, and genocide, which were Kim Jong-sam's poetic interests, operate. These three film images, inspired by movies, have a common characteristic of being a subjugated and underdog group that was historically persecuted by other ethnic groups or races. As a person who experienced war firsthand, poet Kim Jong-sam has constantly denied the enormous violence that ignores the dignity of life and robs humanity of humanity. In the same context, he also showed deep compassion for those who were persecuted by that great violence. This study viewed that poet Kim Jong-sam's thoughts were consistently used in producing poems related to films.
