        거위발 점액낭염의 중의학적 치료에 대한 2014-2024년도의 연구 동향 분석: China National Knowledge Infrastructure를 중심으로

        Objectives The aim of this study is to investigate the research trends in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment for pes anserine bursitis using the search results from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). Methods We searched for clinical studies on pes anserine bursitis in the CNKI electronic database. We analyzed the publication year, study type, participant demographics, treatment methods and duration, evaluation criteria, adverse events, and the results of each article. Results Seventeen studies published from January 1, 2014 to January 1, 2024 were selected. Among the 17 selected studies, 14 were randomized controlled trials and 2 were case reports. The most frequently used treatment intervention was acupuncture. Nine types of acupuncture were identified, including electro-acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, acupotomy, floating acupuncture, and other new types of acupuncture. The most commonly used evaluation outcome was effective rate. Conclusions Various TCM treatments for pes anserine bursitis were introduced, and we could identify the effectiveness of TCM in treating pes anserine bursitis. However, it is anticipated that more well-designed and high-quality evaluation studies will be required in the future.

        Hypoglycemic and Antioxidative Effects of Functional Rice Goami and Nokwon in High Fat-Fed Mice

        Effects of newly developed functional rice grains Goami (high-amylose rice) and Nokwon (green-kerneled rice) on the glucose metabolism and antioxidative defense system in C57BL/6N mice under high fat diet condition were investigated. Animals were randomly divided into five groups (n = 8) and given experimental diets for eight weeks: normal control diet (NC), high fat diet (HF), and high fat diet supplemented with white rice (HF-WR), Goami rice (HF-GR),and Nokwon rice (HF-NR). At the end of the experimental period, the HF group exhibited markedly higher blood glucose level, insulin concentration, plasma lipid peroxidation and lower hepatic glycogen concentration than that exhibited by NC group. However, diet supplementation of Goami and Nokwon suppressed the high fat diet-induced hyperglycemia and oxidative stress through inhibition of the glucose-regulating enzymes and enhancement of the antioxidant enzymes activities. The results illustrate that the new functional rice Goami and Nokwon may be useful in the development of functional foods with preventive effect against high fat diet-induced hyperglycemia and oxidative stress

        Functional Rice Cultivars Goami and Nokwon May Lower Body Weight and Improve Lipid Metabolism in High Fat-Fed Mice Cultivars

        The demand for functional foods is rapidly increasing due to the rising prevalence of metabolic diseases, particularly obesity andhyperlipidemia. In the few past years, various rice cultivars with enhanced functional quality and health-promoting properties havebeen produced. Functional rice Goami (high-amylose rice) and Nokwon (green-kerneled rice) have recently been developed, but littleis known about their physiological activity. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the effect of functional rice on the bodyweight and lipid metabolism in mice under high-fat diet conditions. Forty male C57BL/6N mice were randomly divided and fed withexperimental diets for 8 weeks: normal control (NC), high fat (HF), and high fat supplemented with white rice (HF-WR), Goami rice(HF-GR), and Nokwon rice (HF-NR). At the end of the experimental period, a marked increase in the body weight, plasma triglyceridelevel, and total cholesterol concentrations were found in the HF mice relative to the NC group. However, diet supplementationof Goami and Nokwon improved the lipid profile in mice through regulation of lipogenesis and adipokine production. These findingsillustrate that the new functional rice cultivars Goami and Nokwon may be useful as biomaterials in the development of functionalfood for the prevention and treatment of high-fat, diet-induced hyperlipidemia and obesity

        극상근 건병증의 한의학적 치료에 대한 연구 동향: 체계적 문헌 고찰과 메타 분석

        Objectives The aim of this study was to analyze the trends of researches on oriental medicine treatments for supraspinatus tendinopathy. Methods We used five databases for searching researches; Korean studies Information Service System, Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System, Research Information Sharing Service, PubMed, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. Only randomized controlled trials suitable for the subject were selected. The methodological quality of included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was assessed by the Cochrane risk of bias tool. Results Twenty randomized controlled trials were analyzed. There were 9 types of treatment interventions; acupuncture, acupotomy, pharmacopuncture, electroacupuncture, fire needling, warming needle, catgut-embedding therapy, herbal medicine, cupping. The most frequently used treatment intervention was acupuncture and acupotomy. There were 9 outcome measurements including visual analog scale (VAS), Constant- Murley Score (CMS), and range of motion. The most used measurement was VAS. As a result of meta-analysis, acupuncture was more effective than control group in VAS. Additionally, acupotomy was clinically significant compared to control groups in VAS and CMS. Conclusions In this review, we analyzed researches on effectiveness of oriental medicine for supraspinatus tendinopathy. A provisional conclusion can be produced that acupuncture and acupotomy showed beneficial effect to supraspinatus tendinopathy. Although there were some RCT studies, many of them had a high risk of bias, so it is hard to conclude that our study can include overall clinical status. Further well-designed trials are needed.         아킬레스 건병증의 한의학적 치료에 대한 국내외 연구 동향 분석

        The purpose of this review was to investigate clinical treatment trends of Achilles tendinopathy. Clinical studies about Korean medicine treatments on Achilles tendinopathy were searched in 5 databases. The included studies were classified according to the authors, published years, study designs, purposes of study, methods, interventions outcome measures and adverse event. In 23 studies, total number of patients were 1,135. The included studies consist of 14 randomized controlled trials (RCT), 5 non-RCT, 2 retrospective study and 2 case reports. Patients were conducted with 9 kinds of treatment, which is acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, acupotomy, moxibustion, cupping, Chuna, herbal medicine, physiotherapy. Most studies used visual analogue scale as primary outcome. Based on the results of the collected studies, the use of Korean medicine treatment on Achilles tendinopathy seem to be effective. Despite the large number of RCTs, the level of research cannot be guaranteed, so it is considered that more rigorous researches are needed in future studies.
