This study analyzes the voice-over narration of director Lee Kang-hyeon’s The Description Of Bankruptcy to confirm that work was oriented towards activism. Preceding research approached director Lee Kang-hyeon’s works in a formalistic manner. In particular, some argue that director Lee Kang-hyun avoided the activist tendencies considered traditional in Korean independent documentaries and instead focused on making self-reflexive films. This evaluation has the limitation of disconnecting director Lee Kang-hyeon from the tradition of Korean independent documentaries. This study argues that The Description Of Bankruptcy, thematically inherits the tradition of Korean independent documentaries while innovating formally. And to prove this, we confirm that the people are meaningful and are subjectively constructed through voice-over narration in director Kim Dong-won’s Sanggye-Dong Olympics. This work, which tells the story of those who were sacrificed during the urban redevelopment process in the 1980s, uses the word “we” to describe the people in three ways. A people who speak self-referentially, a people who expands from people with lowercase letters to people with uppercase letters, and a people who are politically subjectivized. The Description Of Bankruptcy, which deals with the misery and suffering of Korean society after the IMF economic crisis through voice-over narration. According to the analysis results, a total of six voice-over narrations were used in this work, and each of them changes its content and form over the course of the film. The narrator’s tone changes from blunt to sharp. The narrator as a director and the subject of speech become aligned by using a unified subject. In this case, the first person plural Korean pronoun is used. Additionally, the narrator’s role as director gradually changes into that of researcher, historian, propagandist, and fable writer. These formally variable voice-over narrations combine with a montage of heterogeneous images to describe and analyze monotonous city life, the lives of economically bankrupt people, the lives of those who have been historically victimized. In conclusion, The Description Of Bankruptcy sharply criticizes the fact that the people were disintegrated. At the same time, this work emphasizes the need for reorganization of the people.

이 연구는 앙드레 바쟁의 초서부극 개념을 중심으로 안소니 만의 작품을 독해함과 동시에 1950년대 헐리우드 서부극의 장르적 진화와 쇠퇴를 진단해보려는 시도이다. 바쟁은 1950년대에 나타난 일련의 새로운 경향의 서부극을 총칭하기 위하여 초서부극이라는 개념을 고안하였다. 그가 말한 초서부극이란, 기존의 미국의 문명화 과정을 이상적으로 그려냈던 고전 서부극의 서사에서 탈피해 주제를 세분화하거나 극 중에 심리적인 요소를 가미하여 소설적인 서사를 구축한 일련의 작품들을 가리킨다. 그러나 바쟁이 초서부극을 신화적으로 이해했던 것과는 달리 당대 새로운 경향의 서부극들은 미국의 이상적인 가치에 대해서 비판적인 입장을 견지하고 있었다. 따라서 본 연구자는 초서부극 개념을 비판적으로 검토하여 초서부극 및 안소니 만의 서부극을 보다 중층적으로 기술해보고자 하였다. 보다 확장된 초서부극 개념을 적용하여 안소니 만의 작품을 분석해봄으로써 세 가지 양식적 특징을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 내적으로 분열된 영웅의 형상을 통해서 도덕적 서사를 구축한다. 둘째, 고전 서부극이 수평적 이미지로 서부의 풍경을 재현했던 것과는 주로 수직적 이미지로 서부를 재현한다. 셋째, 들뢰즈가 말한 ‘작은 형식’에 부합하는 액션 양식을 도식화하여 기존의 고전 서부극이 추구하였던 스펙터클의 논리 일변도에서 탈피한다. 끝으로, 안소니 만으로 대표되는 초서부극에서는 장르적 진화의 긍정적인 측면 외에도 1960년대부터 시작되었던 서부극 산업의 총체적인 침체가 징후적으로 암시되어 있었다. 결과적으로 안소니 만의 서부극은 고전 서부극에서 초서부극으로의 시대적 전환, 초서부극의 양식적 완성, 그리고 초서부극의 퇴장을 동시에 반영했다고 볼 수 있다. This study aims to read works of Anthony Mann by adopting Andre Bazin’s concept of ‘Sur-Western’, thereby analysing improvements and declines of Hollywood Western genre. He designed the concept of ‘Sur-Western’ in order to introduce a series of newly developed Western movies in 1950s. ‘Sur-western’, according to Bazin, meant a chain of movies which constructed novelistic narratives with psychological aspects or subdivided themes - that went against Classic Western’s narratives. In contrast to Basin’s understanding of ‘Sur-Western’ as mythic, ‘Sur-Western’ movies, were critical of American ideal values. Thus, while assuming a critical attitude to ‘Sur-Western’ concepts, this research elucidates Sub-Western movies and Anthony Mann’s Western movies with multi-layered descriptions. This article draws three stylistic features of Mann’s work by the extended definition of Sur-Western movies;cultivating an ethical narrative through the fragmented hero’s figure;reproducing the Western with vertical images vis-a-vis the Classic Western with horizontal images in representing the Western;discarding the traditional spectacle logic of Classic Western by virtue of schematising action styles accord with Gilles Deleuze’s the ‘small form’. In addition to these figures, these Sur-Western movies implied not positive aspects of genre evolution but general recession of the Western movie industry starting from 1960s. In a word, Mann’s Western movies reflected periodic transformation of the Classic Western into the Sur-Western, the stylistic completion and decline of the Sur-Western movies altogether.

지표포화지역-중간류유출-흙수분저류량 관계: I. 정상류 분석

다공성 매질에서의 불포화-포화 흐름을 묘사하는 Richards 방정식을 이용한 수치실험을 통하여 경사면에서 지표포화지역-중간류유출 정상류 관계 및 지표포화지역-흙수분저류량 정상류 관계를 유도하였다. 수치실험에서는 지형인자 및 토양 수리특성의 변화가 지표포화지역-중간류유출 관계에 미치는 민감도를 분석하고, 지표포화지역을 중간류유출 또는 흙수분저류량의 함수로 표시하는 멱법칙을 결정하였다. In this study we derived steady-state relationships between surface saturation area and subsurface outflow, and between surface saturation area and soil moisture storage through numerical experiments with Richards equation on a hillslope. Numerical experiments analyzed the sensitivity of topographic and soil hydraulic properties on steady-state relationships between surface saturation area and subsurface outflow. And the power law for the extent of surface saturation area was determined as a function of subsurface outflow or soil moisture storage.
