The primary interest of drug development studies is to estimate the smallest dose that shows a significant difference from the zero-dose control. The smallest dose is called the Minimum Effective dose(MED). In this paper, we suggest a nonparametric procedure to simultaneously find the MED of each group based on placements. The Monte Carlo simulation is adapted to estimate the power and the family-wise error rate(FWE) of the new procedures with those of discussed nonparametric tests to find MED. 신약 개발 연구 또는 임상시험에서 개발된 약이 0용량 대조군과 비교해 효과 차이가 있는 가장 작은 용량을 최소 효과 용량(MED)이라 한다. 본 논문에서는 다중 그룹 상황에서 동시적(simultaneous)으로 각 각 그룹의 최소 효과 용량을 확인하기 위하여 위치(placement)에 기초한 비모수적 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 Monte Carlo 모의실험을 통하여 기존에 제시된 검정법과 본 논문에서 제안한 검정법의 검정력(power)과 FWE(Family-wise Error Rate)를비교하였다.

The purpose of this study is to share the experience of online education with departments related to the servic industry, such as distribution and logistics, in the New Normal Age of COVID-19 pandemics. The graduation presentation project, which is the capstone design subject and the most urgent subject for face-to-face classes, was selected as the online education subject of this study. The results of this study are as follows : First, several online class tools, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, have also been shown to be applicable to capstone design subjects such as graduation presentation projects. Second, it is essential to reorganize the curriculum to enhance students' ability to practice and utilize online contents. Third, continuous education and training are needed to make easy use of the aforementioned online teaching tools. Meanwhile, fourth, further research is needed to solve the learning effects caused by online learning, and difficulties in communication.

In this study, Ti-Mo-EB composites are prepared by ball milling and spark plasma sintering (SPS) to obtain a low elastic modulus and high strength and to evaluate the microstructure and mechanical properties as a function of the process conditions. As the milling time and sintering temperature increased, Mo, as a β-Ti stabilizing element, diffused, and the microstructure of β-Ti increased. In addition, the size of the observed phase was small, so the modulus and hardness of α-Ti and β-Ti were measured using nanoindentation equipment. In both phases, as the milling time and sintering temperature increased, the modulus of elasticity decreased, and the hardness increased. After 12 h of milling, the specimen sintered at 1000℃ showed the lowest values of modulus of elasticity of 117.52 and 101.46 GPa for α-Ti and β-Ti, respectively, confirming that the values are lower compared to the that in previously reported studies.
PC 기반의 3차원 의료영상 재구성 시스템의 고속화 설계

3차원 의료영상 재구성 기법은 2차원 의료영상으로부터 인체의 복잡한 3차원 구조를 이해하는데 많은 도움을 준다. 본 논문에서 구현한 3차원 의료영상 재구성 시스템은 저가의 PC 기반에서 시스템의 환경에 상관없이 사용될 수 있도록 Visual C++4.2를 이용하여 작성하였으며 향후 확장성을 고려하여 각 기능을 모듈화 시켰다. 모듈 설계된 3차원 의료영상 재구성 시스템은 데이터 준비, 그래디언트 근시화, 분할, 음영처리, 좌표시스템 변환, 그리고 광선투사와 합성 모듈로 구성되었다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 의료영상 재구성 방법의 속도문제를 개선하여 저가의 PC 환경에서 구현하였다. PC 환경에서 3차원 의료영상 재구성 시스템을 구현하기 위하여 광선투사를 재구성되는 영상에 영향을 주지 않는 범위에서 조기 중단시키는 알고리듬과 영상 재구성에 참여하는 체적소를 줄이는 방법, 그리고 영상을 재구성하기 위한 광선투사 과정에서 투시되는 광선의 수를 줄이는 방법 등ㄹ을 적용하여 PC환경에서 3차원 의료영상 재구성 시스템의 고속화를 이루었으며 실험에 의해서 PC환경에서도 의료영상 재구성 알고리듬이 효과적으로 사용되었다. 3D medical image reconstruction techniques are useful to figure out complex 3D structures from the set of 2D sections. In the paper, 3D medical image reconstruction system is constructed under PC environment and programmed based on modular programming by using Visual C++ 4.2. The whole procedures are composed of data preparation, gradient estimation, classification, shading, transformation and ray-casting & compositing. Three speed optimization techniques are used for accelerating 3D medical image reconstruction technique. One is to reduce the rays when cast rays to reconstruct 3D medical image, another is to reduce the voxels to be calculated and the other is to apply early ray termination. To implement 3D medical image reconstruction system based on PC, speed optimization techniques are experimented and applied.
한방병원 입원환자의 한.양방 약물 병용에 따른 간 기능 안전성 평가 : 전향적 관찰연구

Objectives : To investigate the incidence of drug-induced liver injury (DILI) by combined-prescription of Korean herbal medicine (KHM; prescribed herbal medicine by doctors of traditional Korean medicine) and Western medicine on liver function. Methods : Sixty-nine in-patients who took KHM and Western medicine for various conditions were enrolled for prospective observational study. All subjects were given liver and renal function tests at the start of hospitalization to establish a baseline. After taking KHM and Western medicine, tests were done at approximately 4-week intervals afterwards. Results : Fifty-three subjects showed normal liver function test (LFT) at baseline, 50 subjects (72.5%) remained within the normal range at the second test, while 3 subjects (4.3%) tests revealed slight increase of LFT. However not a single patient had a high enough raised LFT to indicate liver injury. Sixteen of 69 subjects had abnormal baseline, 11 subjects recovered to normal levels and 5 subjects remained at abnormal level. Among all subjects, there was no statistically significant increase in LFT level between the first and second tests. Conclusions : This study shows that the combined-prescription of KHM and Western medicine did not cause any DILI. In some cases, combined treatment increased LFT levels but those increases were not high enough to have statistical significance. Additional large scale and systematical studies are required for more conclusive proof and results.

The use of solar energy generation is steadily increasing, and photovoltaic modules are connected in series to generate higher voltage and power. However, solar panels are exposed to high-voltage stress (up to several hundreds of volts) between grounded module frames and the solar cells. Frequent high-voltage stress causes a power-drop in the modules, and this kind of degradation is called potential induced degradation (PID). Due to PID, a significant loss of power and performance has been reported in recent years. Many groups have suggested how to prevent or reduce PID, and have tried to determine the origin and mechanism of PID. Even so, the mechanism of PID is still unclear. This paper is focused on understanding the PID of crystalline-silicon solar cells and modules. A background for PID, as well as overviews of research on factors accelerating PID, mechanisms involving sodium ions, PID test methods, and possible solutions to the problem of PID, are covered in this paper.
하부전극 산소 열처리를 통한 강유전체 터널접합 구조 메모리 소자의 전기저항 변화 특성 분석

To enhance the tunneling electroresistance (TER) ratio of a ferroelectric tunnel junction (FTJ) device using Al-doped HfO<sub>2</sub> thin films, a thin insulating layer was prepared on a TiN bottom electrode, for which TiN was preliminarily treated at various temperatures in O<sub>2</sub> ambient. The composition and thickness of the inserted insulating layer were optimized at 600℃ and 50 Torr, and the FTJ showed a high TER ratio of 430. During the heat treatments, a titanium oxide layer formed on the surface of TiN, that suppressed oxygen vacancy generation in the ferroelectric thin film. It was found that the fabricated FTJ device exhibits two distinct resistance states with higher tunneling currents by properly heat-treating the TiN bottom electrode of the HfO<sub>2</sub>-based FTJ devices in O<sub>2</sub> ambient.
코로나시대 물류 서비스 관련 분야 직장인의 언택트 업무 사례 연구

The purpose of this study was to research the status of logistic service-related workers about untact works by case study in the Era of COVID-19. An experimental design was used by case analysis of interviews with ten office workers from May to June 2020. The results of this research were divided into three categories: work environment, work management and work effect. First, teleworking has a significantly positive influence on business efficiency about work environment. ZOOM, One drive, Skype, Chatbot, Microsoft Teams and Remote view are used as collaborative applications. Second, work instructions in documents are needed such as e-mail and messenger using information and communication technology about work management. Third, the strong points of teleworking are both high work efficiency and job satisfaction about work effect. The weak points of teleworking are both very low-technology and misunderstanding about work effect. The result offer some insights into the case study of logistic service-related workers about untact works. Based on the results, the implications and the limitations of this study were discussed.
