        빨간 집모기 (Culex pipiens pallens)의 흡혈 후 Malate Dehydrogenase의 활성 및 분포

        빨간 집모기(Culex pipiens pallens)의 malate dehydrogenase(MDH; EC 1.1.1.37)의 활성도 측정 조건을 결정하였으며 암모기가 흡혈 한 후 시간의 경과에 따른 MDH의 활성 변화 및 기관별 분포, 동위효소의 종류에 관하여 조사하였다. Malate-oxaloacetate 반응에서 최적 PH는 10.6이었으며, L-malate에 대한 $K_{m}$ 값은 3.3 mM, NAD$^{+}$에 대한 $K_{m}$ 값은 0.34 mM이었다. 암모기의 흡혈 후 시간 경과에 따라 중장을 제거한 몸체의 MDH 활성변화를 측정한 결과 흡혈 후 24시간에 최대의 활성을 보였으며, 그 후 감소하다가 흡혈 후 60시간에 다시 증가하여 일정하게 유지되었다. 지방체에서는 흡혈 후 24시간에 최대의 활성을 보이고 그 후 감소하였으며, 난소에서는 흡혈 후 12시간부터 서서히 증가하기 시작하여 60시간에 최대의 활성을 나타낸 후 그 이후 높게 유지되었다. 전기영동방법으로 MDH 동위효소를 분석한 결과 흡혈한 암모기의 지방체에서는 흡혈하지 않은 암모기에 존재하는 것과 같은 종류의 동위효소가 존재하였으며, 흡혈한 암모기의 난소에서는 새로운 종류의 동위효소가 생성되어 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. Malate dehydrogenase (MDH; EC 1.1.1.37) from Culex pipiens pallens female has been examined. Optimum pH for MDH assay was estimated at pH 10.6 in Glycine-NaOH buffer. $K_{m}$ for L-malate and for NAD$^{+}$ was 3.3 mM and 0.34 mM, respectively. The MDH activity of blood fed female without midgut, reached the maximal level at 24 hours after blood meal. MDH activity in the fat body began to rise at 12 hours after blood meal and reaching the maximal level at 24 hours. MDH activity of ovary began to rise at 12 hours after blood meal, and reached the maximal level at 60 hours after blood meal. The MDH isozyme patterns of non-blood fed females and blood fed females have been examined by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The MDH isozyme patterns of the whole body extracts from unfed female were found to be identical to that of the Int body at 30 hours post blood meal. females at 60 hours post blood meal showed major and minor bands. The ovary of the females at 72 hours post blood meal contained the minor band only, which was not detected in the fat body of the females at 30 hours post blood meal, suggesting the possibility that the MDH isozyme may be synthesized by the ovary during the egg maturation.n.

        영주 지역 향토음식의 인지도 분석 및 개발방안

        This study was conducted in order to better understand the local and specialty foods of the Yeong-ju region. This study provides basic data for new menu development and commercialization. The results of 384 surveys, which were conducted to determine traditional rice cake production methods and their traits, were analyzed. Samgyetang was ranked top in the survey on recognition, public interest, and frequency of the local foods. Dakjuk was ranked second, followed by Baechujeon and Bopguk, in order. The levels of recognition and preference of specialty foods were in the order of hasuo, peach, apple, and meat. Among the answers in the survey on the popularization and commercialization of local foods, changing of the cooking style for younger generations` taste was considered to be the most important. Holding events to promote regional specialty foods and initiate the public to traditional cooking styles were listed sequentially by importance. The survey results show that promotion of local foods through education, and as well as incorporation of new ingredients are both highly effective ways to commercialize local foods for tourism. The results also indicate that taste, nutrition, and appearance of food should be considered in order to improve quality.

        ‘찾아가는 저어새 자연학교’가 참여 학생들의 생물다양성 보전에 대한 인식과 태도에 끼치는 영향

        생물다양성 보전에 대한 국제사회의 관심이 높아지면서 대중 인식 향상을 위한 생물다양성 교육 활동도 확대되고 있다. 하지만 생물다양성 교육은 학생들의 일상생활과 동떨어진 활동으로 이루어지고 있는 경우가 많다. 이 연구는 인천 지역의 초·중등학생을 대상으로 학생들의 일상생활과 연계한 10∼11차시의 생물다양성 교육사업인 인천 저어새 네트워크의 찾아가는 저어새 자연학교 교육 프로그램의 효과를 평가하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 이 프로그램에 참가한 초․중등학생 279명을 대상으로 프로그램 전․후의 생물다양성 인식과 태도, 실천 의지의 변화를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 교육 활동에 참여한 학생들의 생물다양성에 대한 인식, 태도, 실천 의지가 교육 활동 전보다 향상되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 학생들은 그들이 살고 있는 인천에서 번식하는 멸종위기 종인 저어새를 통해 생물다양성에 대해서 인식하고, 인간과 자연의 연계성을 인식하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 찾아가는 저어새 자연학교 교육 프로그램이 끝난 후에도 저어새와 습지, 생물다양성 보전을 위해 학생들이 할 수 있는 일을 찾아 지속적인 활동을 계획하고 실행했다. 찾아가는 저어새 자연학교 교육 프로그램은 생물다양성 교육을 학교 교육과정에 통합할 수 있는 한 사례로서 의미 있는 시사점을 제공하였다. As international concerns for the loss of biodiversity are increased, biodiversity education to raise public awareness has been improved. However, there are many cases of biodiversity education composed of activities apart from everyday life of students. This study aims to evaluate the effect of the Mobile Black-faced Spoonbill Nature School of Incheon black-faced spoonbill network, which has been promoted as a part of the school-community collaboration project composed of 10∼11 lessons classes connected with students’ everyday life and biodiversity targeting elementary and middle school students. This study examines changes in the awareness, attitude and willingness to act of participants (279 elementary and secondary school students) with regard to biodiversity. Study results show that students’ awareness, attitude and willingness to act about the biodiversity have improved. Students recognized the issues on biodiversity through understanding of the black-faced spoonbill as endangered species living in Incheon where they live and figured out the connection between humans and the nature. After participating in the mobile black-faced spoonbill nature school, students planned and conducted continuous activities they can do to conserve the biodiversity. The mobile black-faced spoonbill nature school offers meaningful implication as a case incorporating biodiversity into the school curriculum.

      • 지역기반 참여행 연구방법론 연구 : 기후변화 리빙랩 시범사업을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to carry out a people participatory research to identify and solve life - friendly environmental problems related to climate and living environment theme. We conducted “KEI National Public Participation Research Project” for public participation type research, and three institutions were selected to conduct living lab research and five teams were selected to conduct a free topic research(small study). The results of each study are as follows. First, a summary of the three living lab businesses is as follows. The Living Lab Project for Reducing Plastic Garbage was conducted to educate and discuss ways to reduce plastic bags for housewives in their fifties and plastic straws for housewives in their thirties who have kids, respectively. Experiments have shown that the use of eco bags and the use of water cups without straws is a cost effective plastic abatement activity. Next, the Zero-waste Project of a Single-person Household installed garbage parking lot for the residents of a studio apartment village around Gyeongsang National University and suggested the implications for solving the garbage problem. The participants' perceptions were changed during the experiment and the power of direct participation was confirmed. The Climate Chemical Safety Living Lab conducted a living lap for the toluene, a climate change impact substance, in the Hwaseong City and the LG Chem Cheongju Plant. We proposed the addition of the definition of “suspected substance of climate change impact” to the Hwaseong City Regional System Ordinance (draft) and discussed ways to improve the toluene handling manual of LG Chem Cheongju Plant. The results of the small studies are summarized as follows. A study on the promotion of tour tourism with blackfaced spoonbills was conducted on a bird watching tour program for blackfaced spoonbills breeding in the southern part of Incheon. The effect of natural art education was confirmed that the ecological awareness of participants was changed and practical environment knowledge could be acquired through the natural art education for elementary school students. The research on the formation of new community based on the possibility of reconstruction and the solidarity of disorganized village communities and the semantic analysis were conducted by analyzing the reason of the consensus by interviewing the residents in order to understand the possibility of recovery of the dismantled village community after the conflict of Milyang power tower and diagnose the resolution of community problems. The environmental mastering research group conducted a survey on green curtains and installed them directly in the office, and discussed the ideas for climate change adaptation, The DIY environment study group investigated the types and effects of harmful chemicals and conducted activities to create environmentally friendly household goods.
