본 논문에서는 구면 렌즈 검사를 위해 제작된 Fizeau형 위상 천이 간섭계(Fizeau-type Phase Shifting Interferometer : FPSI)에 비구면 해석 알고리즘을 적용한 소형 비구면 렌즈 해석 방법을 제안한다. 또한 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 측정 결과와 기존 비구면 검사 시스템의 측정 결과를 비교하여 그 성능을 평가한다.

This study was designed to compare the performance of liquid-based preparation from the AutoCyte PREP with the conventional cervicovaginal smear in masked split-samples. In randomly selected 840 cases, the conventional smear was always prepared first, and the AutoCyte PREP used the resldual cells on the collecting device. Parallel AutoCyte PREP slides and matched conventional smears were screened in a blind fashion. All abnormals and 10% random normal cases were reviewed by two pathologists in a blind fashion. The Bethesda System was used for reporting the diagnosis and specimen adequacy. The diagnoses from the two methods were agreed exactly in 767(91.3%) of 840 cases. The AutoCyte PREP demonstrated a 25% overall improvement in the detection of squamous intraepithelial lesion(SIL). The ratio of ASCUS to SIL was decreased as 0.45 compared with 1.00 of conventional smear. The AutoCyte PREP produced excellent cellular preservation and superior sensitivity for detection of atypical cells as compared to the conventional smear. It makes us to be able to subclassify ASCUS into from WNL to HSIL. We thought that the AutoCyte PREP method might contribute to increase the detection rate of abnormal cells than conventional methods.

During the last years, there has been an increased interest in the new energy such as photovoltaic(PV) system from the viewpoint of environmental pollution. In this regard, this paper estimates the power quality of grid-connected PV system. As the maximum power operating point(MPOP) of photovoltaic(PV) power systems alters with changing atmospheric conditions, the efficiency of maximum power point tracking(MPPT) is important in PV power systems. Moreover, grid-connected PV system occurs some problems such as voltage inequality and harmonics. Therefore, this paper presents the results of a grid-connected PV system modeling that contains incremental conductance MPPT controller by PSCAD/EMTDC simulator and investigates the influence that can occur in the grid-connected PV system from aspect of power quality, i.e. voltage drop, total harmonic distortion (THD) and total demand distortion(TDD). For the case study, the measured data of the PV array in Cheongwadae, Seoul, Korea is used.

This paper presents the results of a grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system modeling that contain incremental conductance MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) controller by PSCAD/EMTDC simulator and investigates the influence that can occur in the grid-connected PV system from aspect of power quality, i.e. voltage drop, total harmonic distortion(THD) and total demand distortion(TDD). The measured data the PV array modeling of PSCAD/EMTDC in Cheongwadae, Seoul, Korea is used in the paper.

Intestinal tuberculosis is a common disease of extrapulmonary tuberculosis and should be differentiated from the inflammatory bowel diseases and malignancy such as Crohn`s disease, ulcerative colitis, amebic colitis, and colon cancer. Most frequently involved sites (75% of cases) are the terminal ileum and cecum. Other sites of involvement, in order of frequency, are ascending colon, jejunum, appendix, duodenum, stomach, esophagus, sigmoid colon, and rectum. Intestinal tuberculosis simultaneously involving the stomach and colon has been very rarely reported. Recently, we experienced a case of synchronous gastric and colonic ulcers with granulomatous inflammation. Although we did not find acid fast bacilli and the culture test was negative, empirical anti-tuberculosis therapy resulted in dramatic clinical and endoscopic improvement. We report a rare case of multifocal gastrointestinal tuberculosis with a review of literature. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2008;52:320-324)
Wigner 분포 함수를 이용한 위상지연 함수에 대한 연구

작은 초점 심도를 갖는 원형 대칭 광시스템에 대하여 Wigner 분포 함수(WDF)를 적용해 얻은 위상 지연 함수와 초점 심도와의 관계를 설명한다. 일반적인 광시스템의 이차원의 원형 개구는 잘알려진 변환식에 의해 일차원 동공 함수로 변환되고 변환된 일차원 동공 함수는 다시 Wigner 함수로 표현된다. 일반적으로 일차원 함수를 Wigner 함수로 변환시키면 2차원 함수가 된다. 초점 심도와 위상 지연 함수와의 관계는 2차원 위상 공간(χ, ζ)으로 표현되는 Wigner 함수를 χ축으로 α만큼 기울이므로써 얻을 수 있다. 여기서 초점 거리 f를 1220mm, 구경이 12.5mm, 사용된 광파장 λ가 633nm일 때 α값에 따른 초점 심도의 변화를 수치해석 한다.
Carbon tetrachloride를 투여한 rat의 hepatic lipid 축적에 미치는 vitamin E의 효과에 관한 연구

The present studies were undertaken to evaluate the effect of vitamin E, CCl_4 on the change of hepatic triglyceride, hepatic cholesterol, hepatic phospholipid in male rat. The result obtained from this study were summarised as follows: 1. Hepatic phospholipid of CCl_4 treated rat was increased in proportion to CCl_4 dosage but after concomitant injection(I.P) of vitamin E and CCl_4, hepatic phospholipid was significantly decreased in comparison to that of CCl_4 alone injection. 2. There was no effect on hepatic cholesterol concentration either CCl_4 alone injection(I.P) or concomitant injecton(I.P) of vitamin E and CCl_4. 3. Hepatic triglyceride of CCl_4-treated rat was significantly increased in comparison to that of normal rat but hepatic triglyceride of rat concomitant injection of vitamin E and CCl_4 was significantly decreased in comparison to that of CCl_4 alone injection.
